Author’s POV
As soon as Shivay and Omkara arrive in Mumbai, Shivay takes Omkara to sit in the car, ignoring Omkara’s pleas. As soon as Shivay gets into the car with Omkara, he lets go of Omkara.
Omkara (angry) – Stop trying to control me! You are a brother, act like one
Shivay (angry) – Driver, take us to the mall
Omkara (angry) – Why are we going to the mall?
Shivay (stressed) – I am sorry Omkara, I shouldn’t control you… I am just worried about you and we are going to the mall because you need some new clothes… and because I have to meet a client there.
Omkara (angry) – Look Shivay, I am not a five year old, who will follow your instructions… you only came here for business… you didn’t come here for me…You don’t care about me at all
Shivay (angry) – I care a lot about you…
Driver – Sir, we are here!
Shivay angrily leaves the place leaving Omkara alone in the car. Omkara knew that if he left with the driver, then Shivay will be really angry and therefore, leaves to go inside. As soon as he arrives inside, his heart beats start to rise and Omkara immediately knew that Gauri is somewhere near. He continues to follow the direction that his heart tells him to follow and soon he bumps into a lady which makes all his files that he was holding fall.
Gauri’s POV
Gauri (looking down and helping the person get the stuff) – I am so sorry
Gauri looks up to see the person but drops the stuff that she was carrying on the floor and looks at that person shocked
Gauri (shocked) – O…Omka…Omkara
I look at my ex-husband in shock, he has changed so much. His eyes are red and he looks much older than his age, why am I checking him out. I hate him
Omkara’s POV
I look at my wife shocked, she has changed so much… she looks so young. Her fashion sense has changed a lot, she is wearing western clothes.
Gauri’s POV
I immediately turn to leave as I can’t bare to see the sight of the guy that I hate the most, but he pulls me towards him.
Me (angry) – Let go of me
Omkara (upset) – I… I am sorry Gauri!
Is he serious, does he think that by saying sorry, he is going to win me back? I am not the same Gauri who would beg for Omkara to accept me… I am Gauri Vardhan Trivedi. I will not give in to him so easily. Thanks to the self-defence classes that I have been to, I forcefully free my hand from him and look at him with pure anger and disgust.
Me (angry) – Your sorries are worth nothing to me, look Mr Omkara Singh Oberoi! I have moved on in my life … and so should you.
I turn towards to leave but he comes running behind me and again stops me on my tracks.
Omkara (guilty) – Gauri! I can’t move on… I can’t live without you… I need you
Me (angry) – That’s not my problem… I don’t care if you can’t move on or live without me because guess what, I can and don’t ever cross my tracks again, otherwise, it won’t be good.
Omkara (guilty and not leaving my way) – Can we talk somewhere more private? People are staring at us.
Knowing that Omkara is stubborn, I drag him towards one of the cafes nearby. I immediately ask one of the workers there for a hot chocolate while I order a tea for Omkara.
Omkara (shocked) – You don’t drink tea anymore?
Me (angry) – Things change… now Mr Omkara, please start talking as I have places to go to.
Omkara (guilty) – After you left…I decided to follow my heart and went to discover the truth… I found out that Kaali Thakur was forcing you to get married to him… I found out you weren’t the reason that Jhanvi Thakur…
Me (angry) – I already know the truth, look, Mr Oberoi, if you think that just because you are apologising, I will forgive you then you are wrong…
Worker – Sir, mam your hot chocolate and tea.
As soon as the lady leaves, I turn towards Omkara who is looking at me with guilt. I am not going to fall weak just because he is feeling guilty.
Me (angry) – I will never forgive you, the tortures I had to deal with for 6 months in your house because of you… I can’t forget that… you hurt me… both physically and mentally… I am not ready to forgive you and never will be. Goodbye!
I take the hot chocolate and after paying for the drinks, I leave the cafe. I immediately call Priyanka to meet me near the car park because I can’t stay in the same place as Mr Omkara Oberoi. While going towards the car park, I see Mr Shivay Oberoi talking to some lady and Priyanka coming that way. Oh god! What should I do? I try calling Priyanka’s number but her phone keeps being unreachable, there is only one way, I could save her. I use my scarf to cover my face and then I run towards Priyanka, but to my bad luck, Shivay spots me.
Shivay (shocked) – Gauri!
Why is today such a bad day?
I slowly turn towards Shivay and thankfully, Priyanka who saw me with Shivay, immediately went the other direction. I slowly turn towards Shivay and look at him with pure anger, I hate him… he destroyed my sister’s life.
Me (angry) – Yes, Mr Shivay Singh Oberoi
Shivay (angry) – I will see you later Mr and Mrs Mehra
As soon as the people leave, Shivay looks at me with anger… if he thinks, I am going to be scared by his anger… then he is wrong. I am no longer the girl that would be scared of people.
Me (angry) – Bye, Mr Obeori!
I turn to leave but his voice stops me
Shivay (angry) – Where are you going Gauri? You have to answer my questions
Me (angry) – As far as I know, I and you hold no relationship, I am no longer your brother’s wife and you are no longer my brother.
Shivay (angry) – Why did you leave Om?
Seriously! Is he stupid?
Me (angry) – I am not entitled to answer any of your questions firstly because we hold no relationship and secondly because whatever I say, you wouldn’t even believe me just like you didn’t believe Anika di.
With that, I leave him, not even bothering to stop despite his yellings.
