he is the only son of rikara for the time being. he is very sweet and cute. mama’s boy and papa’s devil. he loves to play with his dad and annoy him also. when with gauri, they love to play any games and gauri always reads him a story before he sleeps. a half Hindu half Muslim child. when gauri reads the Qua’ran, he always listens, when gauri goes to Mosque he tags along too and whenever om is doing pooja, he takes full devotion in it, when om goes to the temple, he goes as well. he is also a bit naughty and loves to prank his mama with papa. wants to go to India one day.

munni: hira didu, this villain want to take me.
aadhira: mr oberoi, how many times must i repeat to leave us alone? and please do not forget that you have munni’s hatred so just stay away.
om: look i came to pick munni up so we could have ice cream.
munni: mummy say no ice cweam from villain. what ice cweam?
aadhira: just some cold dessert. i have never tried myself.

om: arre don’t you want anything else?
aadhira: no.
munni: teddy.
aadhira: you already got this teddy.
munni: new teddy.
aadhira whispering: who do you love? this villain ya your didu?
muni whispering: didu.
aadhira whispering: then go and i’ll get mama to make you a teddy.
munni agrees and both were about to go when:

bowling place:
om handed aadhira the bowling bowl and aadhira held it but because she has never been bowling before nor held a bowling ball, she nearly dropped it on her foot but om held it just in time.
om: arre you never held a bowling bowl before?
aadhira: are you blind? i nearly dropped it so obviously i have never been bowling before!
om in mind: wow always angry! must be my characteristics!
munni: hira didu, you alway angry.
aadhira: not always! just when mr oberoi is here.
om: accha munni, i think your didu is just being stubborn. we’ll do bowling, just me and you.
munni: no. i only do balling with my hira didu. you villain!
the name she gave om just stabbed om’s heart. aadhira tries to do bowling but fails. om quickly rushes to her side and taught her.
om: keep your anger aside and i will teach you. so first hold the ball slightly to your side with your bowling hand underneath the ball and your other hand resting on the bottom side of the ball for extra support.
aadhira unwillingly does as told. munni folds her arms and looks at om with an doubt as he was the one who slapped her didu.
om was done showing aadhira and aadhira bowled.
om: well done.
aadhira: thanks.
om: and munni’s turn.
munni: i do with didu only.
aadhira showed munni and helped her.
munni: yay!
aadhira: well done munni!
she hugs munni tight and smiles. just then om came back with drinks and chips.
om: so these are chips and they are only snacks meaning only sometimes food.
aadhira: we get it!
munni picked a chip and because it was hot she dropped it on the small table and had tears in her eyes. aadhira was about to help her but om did it first.
om: arre don’t cry munni. princesses don’t cry, right? so no crying.
munni smiles and om feeds her a chip and makes her drink her juice. aadhira saw this and thought: munni hasn’t told him to get lost. why is he behaving so nice to us? after calling us illegitimate and insulting mama? the one who killed her with his harsh words? the one who beated her up till she was bleeding? what are his intentions? has he really changed?
om dropped munni and aadhira at home and luckily gauri and buamaa still weren’t there.
om: bye!
munni: villain finally go!
aadhira: finally!
they go inside and lock the door.
viren: where have you two been?
munni: villain ki saath!
viren: what?
munni: yes!
aadhira: he was being really nice but i am not convinced! i don’t know that has he really changed?
viren: we all know he won’t. he will keep up the act for a day or two and then he will show his real side.

she was confused and all of a sudden the people’s taunts entered her head and echoed in her head:

she thought of omkara singh oberoi. how he would rape her, how he would torture her, his accusations, his every word was stabbing her heart but she beared this pain for her children. she beared it because she used to love him. seeing omkara singh oberoi’s face in front of her, she went into the music studio, wiping the tears which were rolling down her cheeks.
she saw buamaa and her friend sorting out the stuff, when buamaa saw her in the corner, she smiled and told gauri to come in the room where they would record her voice.
buamaa: sneha, yeh hai meri beti, gauri.
gauri: namaste.
sneha: hi! i am sneha and if you are okay, we will be recording your voice and we will start off with CDs. okay?
gauri nods and sneha tells her to sit on the black stool. gauri sits on the stool.
sneha: so what song did you have in mind?

sneha: voh wala! bilkul. you know that song you sung gauri, that just go to hell wala.
gauri nods. sneha smiles and puts the special headphones on gauri. then she gives gauri the microphone. soon gauri was told to sing.

on the other screen, om was in his hotel and was thinking of his day with aadhira and munni. he thought of aadhira and munni’s hatred for him.

he was thinking about the reason his children hated him for. torturing gauri.

om smashed the glass of water which was near him in guilt, pain and anger. he banged the table harshly.

om stepped on a glass shred which was on the floor. he wanted to scream in pain but this glass shred was nothing compared to the pain gauri went through.
gauri: Hai meri ghalti. Ya khud ki khata tu. Sharminda dil. Bas itna bata tu. Ke ab kya paana. Ke ab kya khona. Sharminda dil. Bohat hua rona.
meanwhile, in buamaa’s house, aadhira was thinking about the concern mr oberoi was showing to her and munni today. was it really true concern or was it just fake? this is what she thought.

the person om was calling didn’t pick the phone so om called again.

anika’s phone was ringing and anika saw. she picked her phone and and the ‘hello’ shocked her.

om told anika something important and anika nodded. he puts the phone down.

viren hugs aadhira and munni tight telling them that soon everything will be ok.

gauri was done singing and sneha and buamaa clapped.

om came back home and called for aliya. she didn’t came instead a sweet little laugh was heard in the mansion. gauri came.

gauri: you need aliya?

om: yes i want to hug her, play with her.

gauri: you don’t want to hug me?

she gives a sad pout. om smiles and hugs her. gauri’s sad pout turned into a smile and she hugs om back.

om: now aliya?

gauri: with naksh and sanjay.

she breaks the hug so that om could find aliya. he went into naksh and sanjay’s room and found them playing. aliya was on the floor with somu watching her as she played with naksh and sanjay.

om entered the room and picked aliya up.

aliya: dadda!

aliya gave him a big kiss on his cheek and om kissed her forehead.

naksh: chachu, let aliya play for a few more minutes!

sanjay: yes chachu, please!

om: do you want to play with your brothers aliya?

aliya: nkossosk (no) aliya wgnht (want) to pway (play) with dadda.

om: aliya want to play with me? ok princess. sorry boys.

naksh: it’s alright chachu.

sanjay: yes chachu, we have somu chachi.

they play with somu and om and aliya leaves.

rikara’s room:

om kept a pillow border on the bed and then kept aliya on the bed. afterwards, he went to get the toys which he kept in a cupboard.

om: ok aliya, tera toys. now play.

aliya gives a very cute smile and starts to play:

soon aliya got bored with the toys so om started to  have a little chat with her:

om: did you annoy mama today?

aliya: mummy sffjsljfj (say) dadda nhjuhbsurehiuy (naughty).

om: naughty? no daddy isn’t naughty lekin mama is.

om: yes mama is so naughty. she never shares ice cream with me.

om: yes. she never shares. she says i am naughty and daddy never does anything naughty.

om laughs his head off. gauri comes in and asks: what is papa and daughter up to?

om: nothing. it’s only for me and aliya to know.

gauri: accha. i wish we had a little boy. you know someone who would be my little prince.

om: oh please! keep your dreams to yourself!

gauri rolls her eyes whilst smiling and goes on the bed.

aliya: majkpjfje (milk).

gauri: milk? ok, mama will get milk.

she stands up to get the milk. as she goes out:

aliya: midjsjo (video) dadda.

om: video? iPad?

aliya nods giving the puppy eyes and sad pout. i wonder where she inherited that from.

om finds the iPad and gets his headphones. he puts on the headphones, sits on and puts aliya on his laps. they start to see the video:

gauri come in with the milk and sees om and aliya on the bed sleeping. she smiles and prays to god to keep her daughter and husband happy. she keeps the milk on the side and sleeps with om and aliya.

1 and a half year leap:

rikara’s little princess/devil was 2 and1/2and is completely a angel. well to everyone else but her mother. kamal hai!

she could wrap everyone around her little finger starting from tej to om to shivay to basically everyone even gauri.

aliya had a wish which could only be fulfilled by her papa and mama. easier to ask papa.

rikara’s room:

om and aliya were playing with each other and aliya said: daddy?

om: ji? what does meri alu want? chocolate? ice cream? movie? toy? story?

aliya: girl.

om: girl?

aliya: ittli (little) ster (sister).

om: little sister. meri alu wants a little sister (coming back to reality with a shocked face) oh no!

aliya: oh yes, daddy ay (say) yes.

om: aliya ki bacchi when did i say yes? i said oh NO!

aliya: daddy mean.

with her tiny fists cluthed tightly, she started to bang om’s chest a little hardly.

om: arre don’t hit me baby. you see what will mummy say?

he keeps aliya on his laps and aliya looks at hims

aliya: yes.

om: how can we be sure of that?

aliya: mummy wuve (love) alu. mummy say yes wo (to) alu.

om: she would. ok i’ll talk to her and soon you will have a baby sister.

om stands up with aliya in his arms and both find gauri.

she drops her pen seeing om and aliya behind her.

aliya gurgles a bit and gauri pinches her nose. both rikara kisses her cheeks:

om stared at gauri lovingly. with his free hand (As his other was with a baby), he caressed her tresses and slowly and slowly their faces went closer to each other and phir…….

aliya’s POV:

why it silent? i looked up and saw my mummy-daddy. chi! i knew what to do.

rikara’s liplock broke as gauri was shocked.

gauri: what?

om: little sister.

gauri: and this is what father-daughter planned if i am not mistaken?

om gulps and nods.

gauri: so meri alu wants a sister?

aliya: uther (brother) or ster.

gauri: we’ll order the baby then ok?

aliya: yay!

om: now see time. aliya bedtime!

aliya let out a little yawn and kept her head on om’s shoulder. soon she fell asleep.

om: my daughter made me promise her something. i am not leaving you tonight.

he grabs gauri’s wrist and walks with her to aliya’s room.

once they placed aliya in her cot, om carried gauri in bridal style and took her to their room, locking the door tightly.

as if she was a doll, he gently placed her on the bed and slowly took piece by piece her clothes off. he goes on top of her biting her neck giving her hickeys whilst she moaned. He placed gauri’s hands on his buttons.

Om: open them.

Gauri smiles lightly and closely opens them seeing his well built body. She rolls him over going on top of him and bit his neck.

Kisses and bites lasted a while and then rikara did the real thing.

Pari’s POV:
This is my mummy daddy. They are so sweet and cute together. Also they pamper me a lot. Mama-papa, please do not have another baby, please? Me, Alu didu, Munni didu and Viren bauya are perfect especially me because I am your sweet innocent angel right? Papa definitely thinks so.

Every night he comes to my nursery and lifts me out of my cot. He plays with me for a while and gives me sweet kisses on my cheeks but one thing confuses me is that why does he call me ‘rajkumari’ which means princess when my name means angel. He should at least call me ‘angel’ na.

Meri mama is the sweet one. She always makes everyone feel safe and happy. But she always tends to support Viren bauya when he and my other sisters fight. Wonder why? And why does she call me ‘choti devil’? what does devil mean? It would be nice to know what it means.
Also this confuses me, everytime when daddy is playing with me on the bed, mummy enters the room and he leaves me alone and started to rub his nose with mummy or pulls her close to her.

What is it called when two people stare at each other in the eyes? Because they do that staring thing a lot and I always have to cry to get their attention.
And why do they rub their noses with each other and why does daddy pull mummy close to him? All this attention and love is supposed to go to me and maybe a bit to my siblings but mainly sweet innocent Pari.

dear choti,

today I am going to tell you some big news. today I will know whether I am having a girl or boy so then I will at least be happy that either I am going to be blessed with a princess or prince. anyway today is your birthday! you know baby that 7 is mama’s lucky number. why is that? I’ll tell you.

when I was 7, I was blessed with a baby brother and that baby brother is no other than your sahil mamu. the day he was born was one of the best days of my life.

as a child, every Sunday, my papa would be off work and he would take me on day trips sometimes take me for ice cream or have a movie night.

and on the 7th July, when I was 17 I met your father, shivay singh oberoi. when I met your father, the sky changed colour, violins played in the background and my hair was flying the breeze only I could feel. I just wanted to shout that I was in love that very day. when you fall in love then you will feel the beautiful feeling. you know baby that your father is a good man with the best intentions. he is kind to me, patient and considerate. and so excited about meeting you.

finally on November 7th, I married your father. when I married your father, believe me it was the best day of my entire life and when you are born, it will also be the best day of my life.

finally I know if you are a boy or girl but now I have to pick a name for you. as I am writing this, you are happily kicking me inside my baby bump. hmm, looks like you will be papa’s little princess.

I wonder if you have kanji eyes like your father? I always loved your father’s eyes. stormy blue eyes or as you could say beautiful cat eyes with secrets in them. everytime I look into your father’s eyes, then I fall in love all over again with him. now that I think about it, I have fallen for him many times when I look in his eyes that it is hard to keep count how many times I have fallen in love again.

I also wonder if you have taken a like for business. you know baby some days I wonder if your papa is married to business and not me.

well enough about me blabbering about your hero, I need to wish you. I am so silly. I nearly forgot to give you a special birthday message.

I find it quite hard to believe that you are eight now. you are growing too fast. slow down a bit.

shrenu’s mother: yes he is. why?

shrenu: put your phone on speaker because you are about to get a shock.

shrenu’s mother puts her phone on speaker and tells her husband to listen.

shrenu: maa, papa you see you two are getting promoted.

shrenu’s dad: meaning?

shrenu’s parents: what?

shrenu smiling: yes.

shrenu’s father: many congratulations to you and kunal. give the phone to kunal.

she hands kunal the phone and kunal keeps it near his ear.

kunal: namaste papaji and maaji.

shrenu’s mother: we can’t believe that you and shrenu are going to be parents.

shrenu’s father: feels like yesterday you two married.

shrenu’s parents: congratulations.

kunal: thank you.

soon shrenu’s parents spoke to sunil and the four duffers (susya and durjay) and then the call ended.

satya: now can we tell the world that you two are expecting?

shrenal: fine.

satya smiles and finds Instagram on his phone. then he types in: and a little angel will soon join crazy town.

once he wrote the caption, he posted it. within five seconds, many likes and comments appeared, some were congratulations and some were questions. satya then put on his story:

‘kunal bro will post something soon and then you will all know the big surprise’

satya: kunal, pass me your phone.

kunal: here you go. but why?

satya: stop asking questions. everyone, get out of the shot. but Bhabhi, bro stay right where you are.

shrenal does as they are told and after many instructions, satya finally took the picture:

he goes on kunal’s Instagram and goes on new post. then he gives the phone back to kunal.

satya: now type in a caption.

kunal: what are you trying to do?

satya: oh hello, Bhabhi will be posting the news in a minute. first do it on your account.

kunal types in: and two will soon to be three.

once he typed ‘three’, he posted it.

kunal: done.

satya: good

that night was full of happiness and maasti.

the next day:

shrenu was all wrapped up in the blanket like a little baby. she was peacefully asleep. till someone ruined her peace.

voice: shrenu, shrenu wake up!

shrenu: kya yaar? can’t a girl sleep?

voice: pagli, wake up yaar!

shrenu: let me sleep.

all of a sudden, shrenu was wet and her eyes were wide opened.

shrenu: what the hell?!

she saw kunal laughing his head off.

shrenu: you jerk!

she grabs some pillows and threw them at kunal angrily. kunal managed to catch them and kept them on a side.

kunal: stop being angry. It is not good for you. now quickly change and then we will go for a morning walk.

shrenu: what?!

kunal: you heard correctly. morning walk. it is both good for you and my princess.

shrenu: princess? nahi nahi prince hogi.

kunal: it will be a princess and stop arguing and change.

shrenu stands up, rejecting kunal’s help and then starts walking to the bathroom, giving kunal a death stare.

shrenu: husbands don’t throw water at their wives. some husband you are.

kunal rolls his eyes as shrenu closed the bathroom door.

a few minutes later:

shrenu came out of the bathroom with her hair naturally wavy and then wearing a short sleeved yellow top and light blue jeans. kunal was memorised looking at her. even in the simplest of clothing, she still looks like a goddess.

however she was still angry at kunal.

downstairs:

shrenal came downstairs to have breakfast. but sunil, susya and durjay noticed shrenu angry and kunal was scared.

sunil: what happened shrenu bahu?

shrenu: papaji, your eldest son is so mean. I wanted to sleep today and he threw water at me just so that I could wake up! your son is crazy I tell you! crazy!

sunil: shrenu, relax. kunal, I thought that out of all three sons, you would be the wise one but turns out that you are like your brothers. if shrenu wanted to sleep, then let her sleep.

kunal: but dad, I did this only for her to go on a morning walk.

sunil: don’t do it again.

kunal: ok.

they sat down for breakfast. satya came and placed something in front of shrenu.

shrenu: satya, what is this?

satya proudly: bircher muesli.

shrenu: what? no no I am not going to eat this.

satya: but Bhabhi, I spent ages making it.

shrenu: but I don’t want to eat this. I don’t like oats and unsweet stuff.

kunal: like it or not, you have to eat this. it is good for the baby.

shrenu pulls a sad pout, she looks at sunil but sunil doesn’t look in shrenu’s direction because of the famous pout and puppy eyes.

sunil: sorry bahu but it is for you and your baby’s health.

shrenu: sanjay, sanjay, I will give you anything just don’t make me eat this.

sanjay: as much as I love you Bhabhi, you have to eat this.

durga: exactly!

susheel: don’t be like a child.

shrenu looked as if she was about to cry, kunal noticed and said: shrenu, don’t start crying. chalo, I will feed you.

he grabs the spoon and starts feeding shrenu who slowly got a smile back on her face.

soon they left the house as of the morning walk.

that night:
the lights were off and om came back rom hanging out with his friends. he looked at the time: 11:00.
om: viren must be asleep. that’s good. now to my jaan. but why are the lights off?
he decided to not care about it and kept his phone touch light on then he goes upstairs to find rose petals on the floor and candles. slowly and slowly he walked to his room with shock. he found his room lights off with candles everywhere and flower petals. he observed every decoration properly blinking a few times.

he couldn’t find gauri anywhere.
om: gauri?
gauri came out in a beautiful black dress, her hair was down and curled, she was looking so beautiful:

gauri: hello handsome.
om: gauri, you did all this?
gauri: yes why? you think viren did all this? no no it was me.

om: it’s beautiful jaan.
gauri: thank you.
om: so sibling?
gauri: yes. let’s try for a little girl. i need a little gauri.
om: as you wish.
he carefully unzips her dress and tosses it on the floor. in return gauri unbuttons his shirt and tells om to take off his jeans. she lies on the bed and om goes on top of her, crushing her tiny body with his weight. he starts to leave kisses on her ear and closely leading to her neck.
he bites her earlope and gauri moans his name. soon this romance led to a liplock and soon gauri allowed om to enter her. the scene went blur and they made love once again.

Hi, dearies. I’m again sorry for delaying the update. As I told before, my health is still not good. I am having cough and flu since few weeks. My throat started bleeding because of continue cough till I can’t eat anything. But today I’m updating this chapter because it’s my birthday and wanted to give you all a gift. I have tried to give the best in this chapter. Sorry if you don’t like the chapter.

CHAPTER 13

RAICHAND HOUSE

Shivaay who was smiling seeing Annika leaving from there suddenly feels his head is spinning. He couldn’t understand what is happening with him and holds his head. He extends his hand to call Ishana but his voice is not coming out. Ishana closes the door and turns towards Shivaay. She is shocked to see Shivaay falls on the floor holding his head. She runs towards him.

Ishu: (screams) Shivaay!! (She kneels and wants to touch him but her hand penetrates him. She is confused and worried seeing him.) What’s wrong with you, Shivaay??

Shivaay: (still holding his head) I don’t know, Ishana. My head is spinning terribly.

Ishu: Shivaay, hold my hand and get up first. I will call Navya and ask if you are fine at the hospital. (Shivaay agrees and about to hold her hand but stops seeing somewhere.) What happened?? What are you looking at?? (She follows his gaze but she can’t see anything.) Nothing is there.

Shivaay: That clock…..

Ishu: (looks at the clock) What’s wrong with the clock??

Shivaay: The clock…. Why the time is running opposite wise??

Ishu: (looks at him confusingly) What are you saying?? The time is running correctly.

Shivaay: No!! The needles are moving oppositely. (He says holding his head making Ishana worries a lot. He started to scream.) Aaaarrggh!!! (He disappears from there. Ishana is shocked and confused seeing him disappear suddenly.)

Ishu: Where did he go?? What happened to him suddenly?? (Screams) Shivaay!! (Sits on the floor.)

AniSou are about to get in the car when Annika remembers something.

Annika: Soumya, I left my mobile inside the house. I’ll go and get it.

Soumya: Di, I’m coming with you. (Annika agrees and they walk back to the house. Soumya rings the door bell but no one opens the door.) Arrey, why Ishana is not opening the door?? It’s just been few minutes we came out. (She is about to knock the door but stops by Annika.)

Annika: Maybe, she is at upstairs or in washroom. Let’s wait for sometime. (Soumya nods and removes her hand from the door but her hand hits the door knob and the door get opened.)

Soumya: Di, the door is not locked. Shall we go inside??

Annika: It won’t be good, Soumya. Let’s wait for sometime.

Soumya: Di, we just want to take the mobile. It won’t take 2 minutes to go and take it. Ok. You wait here. I will go and bring it.

Annika: But, Soumya…. (Soumya opens the door and enters inside the house. She takes the mobile from the table and turns to leave but stops seeing Ishana sitting on the floor beside the sofa. She is confused seeing her staring at the floor. Soumya goes towards her.)

Soumya: (touches her shoulder) Ishana. (Ishana doesn’t respond and continuously looking at the floor where Shivaay disappeared just now. Soumya is confused and turns her face towards her. She is surprised to see Ishana in tears.) Ishana, are you ok?? Why are you crying?? (Looks at the door) Annika di!! Come here for a while!! (Annika who is standing at the door is surprised to hear Soumya’s tensed voice. She enters inside and goes towards Soumya who is holding Ishana’s worried face.)

Annika: What’s wrong with her??

Soumya: I don’t know, di. She is like this since I came inside.

Annika: (pats her cheek) Ishana!! Ishana!! Are you ok?? (No response from her. Annika shakes her shoulders.) ISHANA!!! (Ishana comes out from her trances and looks at Annika.)

Ishu: (sadly) Annika.

Annika: Haan, me. What happened to you?? Are you ok?? (Places her palm on Ishana’s forehead checking for fever.)

Ishu: (unable to tell them) Yes, I’m ok.

Soumya: No, I don’t think you are ok. Your face is looking very pale. (Annika remembers Ishana’s health problem.)

Annika: Are you injured?? (Checks her hands and face. She is about to touch Ishana’s feet but Ishana stops her.)

Ishu: No. I’m not injured.

Annika: Then, why are you looking weak?? (Ishana thinks what to answer her.)

Soumya: Give me your bhabhi’s number. I will inform her that you are not well.

Ishu: No, please don’t tell her. She will be worried.

Annika: (looks at Soumya) Let’s take her to the hospital. Her friend is working there only. Maybe, she can know if she checks her. (Ishana is about to refuse but thinks something.)

Ishu: Ok, I will come with you. (They nod and help her to get up. They walk towards the door. Ishana turns her head and continuously looks at the floor. Soumya sees her looking at the floor.)

Soumya: Why are you looking at the floor?? Nothing is there.

Ishu: (without realising) Yeah, no one is there. (AniSou look at her in confused.)

Annika: What?? No one?? (Ishana realised what she said)

Ishu: I mean nothing is there. Nothing.

Annika: Ok. Relax. Let’s go. (They leave from there.)

CITY HOSPITAL

Navya’s Cabin

Navya just finished checking her patients and working on her system when AniSou enter her cabin bringing Ishana with them. She is surprised to see them.

Navya: You?? (Looks at Ishana) Ishu?? What’s wrong with you??

Annika: We don’t know. She was fine just now but suddenly she becomes pale. We thought because of her health issue and that’s why we brought her here. Please check her. (Navya feels worried and cups Ishana’s face. By looking at her face, Navya could understand that Ishana is deeply worried about something. She turns towards AniSou.)

Navya: I will check her. Could you both please stay outside some time??

Annika: Sure. Actually, we want to visit Shivaay. We will go and see him first. (Navya nods. Annika pats Ishana’s cheek and leaves from there with Soumya.)

Navya: What happened, Ishu?? I know it’s not because of your health. Tell me what is bothering you.

Ishu: (looks at her with tear filled eyes) Shivaay….

Navya: Shivaay?? What is wrong with him?? I just checked him and he is still in same condition.

Ishu: He disappeared suddenly.

Navya: So?? He is a soul, right?? Of course he will appear and disappear. What is the problem in that??

Ishu: You are not understanding. I know all that and I’m used to it. But, today…

Navya: What happened today??

Ishu: Today, he fell down and struggled holding his head like he is in very much pain. I wanted to help him but he disappeared from there. I don’t understand anything. I felt like maybe something happened to him here.

Navya: No, Ishu. Nothing happened to him. He is still in the same condition.

Ishu: I’m very much worried about him. I want to see him. Let’s go to his ward. (Navya nods and they leave to Shivaay’s ward.)

Shivaay’s Ward

Annika is sitting beside Shivaay holding his hand. Tears are flowing from her eyes.

Annika: How long you will sleep like this, Shivaay?? Don’t you feel bad for me and our family?? I miss you, Shivaay. (Cries) Please open your eyes. Talk to me, Shivaay. Scold me!!! Just scold me as much as you want but please open your eyes. (Cries placing her face on his hand. Soumya feels bad seeing Annika crying like this. She too cries and caresses her back calming her down.)

Soumya: Please don’t cry, di. You know right, bade bhaiya can’t see your tears?? He will feel bad seeing you like this.

Annika: Then, what I can do, Soumya?? He is not waking up. I’m waiting for him to open his eyes these days but he is not opening his eyes. At least, he might open his eyes to wipe my tears. That’s why I’m crying. (Continues crying. A hand wipes her tears. Annika turns and sees Ishana.)

Ishu: Your husband will open his eyes soon. Just don’t lose your hope. Maybe, he is unconscious but he can listen to you. Your confidence is the one can cure him quickly. I don’t think that your husband like to see his wife being weak. You should be like the one he loved before, I mean the khidkithodh Annika which he has fallen for. (Annika smiles in tears and hugs her. Ishana just caresses her hair by hugging her back while SouNav smile looking at them. Annika breaks the hug after a while.)

Annika: You are fine, right?? What was wrong with you just now??

Navya: It’s nothing. I think she missed one of her medicine. That’s why. Now she is fine. (Ishana smiles at Annika and looks at Shivaay.)

Ishu: (thinks) Everything is normal with him. Why he behaved like that just now?? What happened to him?? Where he went?? (She looks at Navya who is signing her that Shivaay is fine.)

Annika: Soumya, let’s leave. Ishana, we will send you at your house first.

Ishu: (nods) Ok. Just five minutes, I want to talk with Navya. (Annika nods and leaves from the ward with Soumya. Ishana goes to Shivaay.) Where are you, Shivaay?? Where have you went suddenly?? Please come back soon. I’m really worrying about you.

Navya: He will return, Ishu. Don’t worry. I will take care of him. You go back first with them. Maybe, he already came back and waiting for you at your house. (Ishana feels Navya is saying right.)

Ishu: Ok, Navya. I will go back. And please tell me if any changes with his condition. (Navya nods and hugs her. Ishana goes out from the room and leaves from the hospital with AniSou.)

Shivaay opens his eyes and finds himself surrounded with darkness.

Shivaay: Where am I?? How I came here?? (Tries to recall) I was with Ishana at her house, Annika came there with Soumya and they talked with her. Then, they left. What happened after that?? (Touches his head) Yes!! My head was spinning terribly and….. and…. I don’t remember what happened after that. (Rubs his head and looks at the place.) What place is this?? (He gets up from his place and looks at the surrounding.) My house. How did I came here?? It’s ok. I will go and see Annika first.

Shivaay enters the house and sees OmRu, SouRiVya are chatting happily. Shivaay smiles seeing them.

Shivaay: It’s good to see them happy like this. They were completely broken after my accident. At least, they are laughing now. (Smiles and about to go to his room but stops seeing Annika running towards living room while laughing. Shivaay smiles seeing her laughing. But his smile stops hearing a voice.)

Voice: Annika, stop!! You can’t escape from me. (Shivaay turns and shocked seeing the person.)

Khanna says they are worth 25 lakhs. Shivaye says the thing that bothers Anika shouldn’t here, throw the flowers away. Khanna goes. Anika comes and says you care for me so much, just because I sneezed, you have got the flowers worth 25 lakhs thrown away, and then you say you don’t care for me. Shivaye says I would have done the same for Khanna, I don’t care. He goes. She smiles and says you do care, you are stubborn, its fine, if you are Tadibaaz, then I m khidkitok, I will make you admit that you care. Om says just show me once. Gauri says how many times will you see. He says I have to click a pic. She says no, Chutku will have problem with flash, Anika and I named him. Om says I will off the flash, just one pic. She opens the box.

He smiles and clicks a pic. He says if I were an artist, I would have made its painting. She says yes, now just have the photo. He sees Shivaye coming. She sees Anika coming. They throw the cockroach at Anika. Anika shouts Shivaye…. Om and Gauri go. Shivaye asks what happened. Anika shows the cockroach. Shivaye shouts cockroach. She steps on the dining table. He shouts Khanna, security, get the help, I m calling pest control. She says do something. He says I can’t help, I m scared of cockroach and all animals. Om and Gauri come and ask where is the cockroach. Om asks shall I do something. Gauri says no, Jiju will do. Anika says I m fainting. Shivaye steps on the table and says I have caught the cockroach. He faints. They get shocked.

Gauri says he fainted. Anika says open your eyes, sorry, I thought if you save me, it will be proved that you care for me, but it went wrong. She sprinkles water. Shivaye holds her hand and opens eyes. She asks are you fine. He asks did you think I will agree by this stupid drama, you guys planned this stunt, I m not blind, I have saw Om and Gauri talking about Chutku, I can’t believe it, you have stooped to this level. Anika says I proved it, you took cockroach in your hand, it means you care for me. He says I would have done this for anyone. He goes. Gauri says he is james bond. Om says its not easy to fool him. Anika says we don’t have to fool him and just make him confess his feelings. Om asks how. She says I will plan something good. Priyanka comes to Jhanvi and asks how do you identify me all the time, did you miss me. Jhanvi says yes, I got this jewellery for Anika, put this in safe, I will give this to her during haldi. Priyanka talks to Rudra on call and asks Anika to keep the jewellery boxes in the safe. Anika says sure. Priyanka tells the safe password. She says the room gets locked automatically, put down the stopper, you will fall in problem if you get locked. Anika goes to the room and enters the lockers room. She puts on the door stopper. She keeps the jewellery boxes. Some books fall and stopper gets lifted. The door gets locked. Anika shouts Shivaye…..

Shivaye says this is the Australian deal file which you wanted to see, you guys stay here, the house seems incomplete without you and Jhanvi, we all need you. Tej says do you think its easy for me to stay away from my family, I had made this empire, but I had to leave this and go away, because of your dad, Shakti brought shame to this family, I was unable to answer people’s questions, I was forced to leave from here, I just hope you don’t turn our to be like your dad. Shivaye says I m not like him, I m like you. Tej says I seriously hope so, blood shows its color some time. Shivaye looks on and gets tearful eyes. Tej says its perfect, good. Shivaye leaves. Anika shouts to Shivaye, Gauri….Shivaye recalls Shakti and Pinky’s words. Anika shouts again. Gauri comes to Om. They ask each other not to be formal. She asks where is Anika, did you see her. He says I haven’t see her since long time. Jhanvi asks where are Shivaye and Anika. Shivaye comes. Jhanvi asks where is Anika. Shivaye asks did you say something. Jhanvi says we are asking where is Anika. Anika faints. Shivaye says she isn’t answering. Gauri says she isn’t in her room, her phone is there, she is at home. Khanna says no one saw Anika going out. Om says she is not at the poolside. Shivaye asks servant about her. Servant says I saw her going to room near the temple. Shivaye rushes to check the room. He opens the locker room and sees Anika.

Anika gets up. Jhanvi says thank God, we were so scared. Gauri says don’t know what would have happened if Shivaye didn’t reach on time. Jhanvi asks Shivaye to take care of her. They go. Shivaye sees Anika. She says I didn’t know that… He says enough, cockroach stunt was okay, hiding in the safe is ridiculous, you could have lost life, stop wasting time, genuinely, I don’t care. He asks where are you going. She asks why do you ask, you don’t care. She goes. Priyanka looks on. She says Anika didn’t do anything intentionally, I was talking to Rudra and gave jewellery boxes to Anika to keep in the safe, I gave her password and explained her about automatic locking system, maybe she didn’t understand and got locked. He says I told her so much, what shall I do now. She says go and convince her.

Tia gets angry and throws things. Daksh stops her and asks did you go mad. She slaps him. She says this is what you deserved, you ruined my plans, Priyanka and you were going to get married, Shivaye and I were going to get married, our financial problem was getting solved, you ruined everything. He says I know, but I promise I will fix everything. I will throw Anika out of Shivaye’s life, and then Shivaye will be yours, this time, I shall make it happen, you just watch the drama. She says we will see and goes.

Anika sits at pool side. Shivaye comes nand says I m… She says there is no need to apologize. He says I really thought that you intentionally…. She says we have been misunderstanding each other since the day we met. He says I have misunderstood you, I m sorry, don’t be angry on me, you can punish me as you want. She asks sure, I mean, will you do whatever I say. He says yes, you are my friend, tell me what can I do. She says fine, its simple, you have to apply haldi to me and say that you care for me, what happened, didn’t you understand. He says I understood, but this can’t happen. She asks why, its not rocket science. He says if its so easy, why don’t you apply it yourself, Lord gave you two hands, you should put them to use. He goes. She says I have two hands…..

RECAP: IshSou and OmRu’s plan succeeds……Dadi says that all six of them would go to Paris

At present,

All six of them had landed in Paris and were now heading towards their hotel.

Soumya: Wow Di, I never thought that Paris would be so beautiful in real also.
Omkara (whispered in Ishana’s ear): Paris is beautiful but not more than you.

Ishana looked at him shocked but maintained herself.
They reached the hotel and went to their respective rooms, one for Shivaay-Anika, one for OmRu and one for IshSou.

Shivaay-Anika’s room,

Ever since they had left Mumbai, Anika wasn’t talking to Shivaay, in fact she was ignoring him and Shivaay very well knew the reason. Now that they were alone, he wanted to talk things out.

Shivaay: I know that you are angry with me. I am sorry, I know that the plan failed because of me and I am sorry for that. Please.
Anika didn’t pay any heed to his words.

Shivaay (thinking): You’ll have to talk to me. If you are tadibaaz ASO then I am also Shivaay. (to Anika) ok, if you don’t want to talk, then I also don’t have time to waste. I tried my best but if you don’t want to listen then I can’t do anything. I am going.

Shivaay turned to go but stopped when he felt Anika holding his hand. He smiled to himself.

She leaves from there smiling with attitude.
Shivaay smiles seeing her,

Shivaay: Gussa hi sahi, at least you talked to me.

In the corridor,
Ishana was waiting for Soumya to get ready and come,

Ishana: What is she doing? Who takes so much time to get ready? Even I got ready but I didn’t take hours.
Voice: One who is already so beautiful, why would she take time to get ready?

Ishana turned back and saw Om smiling at her,

Omkara: Kyu sahi kaha naa.
Ishana: Om, you also naa.
Omkara: Are, I didn’t say anything wrong.
Ishana: Om, really, what has happened to you? Looks like Paris is making you mad.

Ishana was about to go but Om held her hand, she turned around and looked at him with surprise,

Omkara: Paris nahi, you are making me mad. (He moves closer to her)
Ishana: Om, leave my hand, someone will come.
Omkara: No one will come.

Om moved closer to her, just then they heard Rudra coming calling for Om, Ishana freed herself from Om’s grip and composed herself,

Rudra: Bhaiya, you are here and I was searching for you everywhere.
Omkara (muttered under his breathe): Ise abhi aana tha, kya timing hai

Ishana looked at him shocked while Rudra was confused.

Rudra: Bhaiya, did you say something.
Ishana: Nothing Rudra, he didn’t say anything.

Soumya also comes there, Rudra and Soumya look at each other and give cold looks, Ishana and Omkara notice this but choose to remain silent.

Ishana: Duffer, how much time you take to get ready.
Soumya: Oh, ho Ishu, you won’t understand. Leave that and tell me where is Di?
Anika: here.
Ishana: Anika, you came alone, where is Shivaay?
Anika: I don’t know.
Soumya: What do you mean Di?
Anika: I mean I don’t know where he is and I don’t care.
Ishana: Anika…

Before she could say anything, she saw Om signaling her to not say anything, she tried to resist but he said that they’ll talk later.
Shivaay also comes there.

Shivaay: Sorry guys, I am late.
Soumya: It’s ok jiju. Now let’s go, I am really excited to see Paris.
Shivaay: Haa, let’s go.

Park near a lake,

Anika, being a hard core businesswoman, was busy on a phone call, Shivaay was no different, after their wedding things had changed at office, whenever there was any problem, people would first call him and then Anika, although Anika was aware of this, she never said anything, because somewhere she was happy seeing this, she knew it was not just a result of Shivaay getting married to her but also a result of his intelligence, hard work and personality, that he had earned this respect and she didn’t want to take it away as it was his earnings and not something that he had taken for granted. She was upset about their plan being failed but somewhere she was happy about it, and she didn’t know why. She had noticed the little changes that were taking place in her after Shivaay had come in her life, but being the stubborn Anika, she would never accept this.

As Shivaay and Anika were busy with their work, others decided to explore the place on their own.

Soumya was busy clicking selfies and posting it on social sites. Rudra was busy looking at her, he was thinking what he had done that Soumya wasn’t acting normal with him, she was angry on him for reason he couldn’t understand but he had decided that he would find out the reason. He was lost in thoughts thinking about what he should do.

Ishana and Om were standing near the railing of the lake, Om noticed that Ishana was lost in thoughts, well he knew what she was thinking, in the last few months, they had got to know a lot about each other and understood each other well.

Omkara: Ishana, where are you lost?
Ishana (coming out of her thoughts): Nothing, it’s just that…
Omkara: You are thinking about Anika and Soumya, right?

Ishana smiled at how well Om knew her,

Ishana: Yes, you are right. I know my sisters very well and I know that something is going in their lives, which is unknown to me. I know even you noticed the looks Soumya and Rudra shared and how Anika answered when I asked her about Shivaay.
Omkara: You are right, even I noticed that. We have some idea about Shivaay-Anika, but Rudra-Soumya, I don’t understand, what happened between them.

He noticed that Ishana had worry on her face, he held her by her shoulders and made her face him, she looked at him,

Omkara: Don’t worry Ishana, everything will be fine. Aur waise bhi, we are here to enjoy, so don’t think too much and relax.

He smiled at her and Ishana smiled back.

Shivaay held his hand out for Anika, “ Don’t do this to me. Don’t act like you don’t know me. I can’t take it anymore”.

“ Acting?”, Anika raised her voice in anger.

This man, in front of her, had the guts to hug her and now he tells she is acting. Great! How dare he!!

“ Mein acting Kar Rahi hoon?! Mein. Acting. Kar Rahi hoon? Kyun karoongi yeh bhi aap hi Bata…”

(“I am acting?!! Why would I act? You yourself tell the reas…”)

She couldn’t complete her sentence as she held her head feeling dizzy. The hot summer season, she fasting and the turmoil of emotions lead to fatigue.

And just as she was about to fall, a pair of hands caught her shoulder and helped her stand. Thinking it to be the same cheap man, she turned in anger. But her gaze softened when she saw it was him.

SUNDAY MORNING:

Gauri wore her favourite yellow dress. Even though, it was not a modern dress, she wore it because yellow is her lucky colour. She was a modern girl who loved wearing traditional dresses. She went to the exhibition. As she entered, she saw Om wearing the same dress; he wore for all his exhibitions. Even he noticed that she wore the same yellow dress which she wore for all his exhibitions.

O&G: You wore the same dress?

O&G: Ok….You can talk….

O: Why do you wear the same dress every time?

G: It’s my lucky dress. You????

O: Same here!

They walked around the exhibition talking to each other. The media had gone before itself, so basically no one was there to disturb them. They talked about the paintings and expressed each other’s ideas as usual. Their talks never end. They keep on talking Gauri’s mother or Shivaay calls Gauri/Om.

Today their conversation had a turn after some time.

O: How’s life for my single?

G: Good! You???

O: It’s okay!

G: Can I ask you something?

O: Sure!

G: See, we both are looking for a partner. So, can’t we both be…(shows an expression in her hand of joining)

O: I get it! Yes! Why not?

G: I don’t know how to start it.

O: Even me! We know about each other a lot.

G: Let’s go home and think about it.

They went home. That night, they couldn’t sleep. They were thinking badly what to talk the next day. He didn’t know from where to start on. She didn’t what to start with. A sudden decision changed their whole perspective about each other. It’s easy, if you were able to recognise your feelings. Here, they didn’t!

She knew that she couldn’t accept it suddenly. Even he knew there will be a sudden change between them.

Suddenly, he calls her. But at the same time, even she calls him. As expected, the phone gave a message that “the number you’re calling is now engaged”. Sadly, they both cancelled the call. They were staring at each other’s WhatsApp profile so that they could message each other. But they didn’t know how to start!

Suddenly, they decide to remember each other’s moments. Maybe they may get an idea.

They were reminiscing their moments and they fell asleep.

THE NEXT DAY:

Om and Gauri woke up suddenly thinking how will they start. They were absolutely tensed with what to start with.

Om was busy trying to do a painting but he was distracted by the same thoughts.

Gauri was in the hospital. She is just in her last year of studies of becoming a doctor. For the first time, she was making mistakes in her work, which includes putting the plaster in the wrong hand, etc. She is practicing in a government hospital.

Both were lost in their own world.

At last, fed up of all these thoughts, Om called Gauri.

O: I don’t know how to start it. It’s literally making me tensed.

G: That’s even my condition. Suddenly, even I can’t be formal to you.

O: I think we have to continue as it is. The only difference will be that we should consider each other as more than friends. I think we are really more than that. I don’t remember talking to Sid, Malli and Ani like I have talked to you. I think its the boundary of friendship which has caused all these. Sid and Malli didn’t have it because they recognized their feelings

G: Even, I think so. I have been making a lot of mistakes because of you.

O: Me! I couldn’t even start a painting because of you.

G: We were lost with each other, rt?

O: No

G: Then?

O: We were lost in the friendship of ours such that we never recognized our feelings for each other.

G: Ya..

O: One minute, Shivaay is coming. I am going to cancel the call.(Shivaay, wrong timing!)

G: Ok, bye

The call gets cancelled. Om showed a normal expression.

AFTER SHIVAAY LEFT:

Om’s POV:

What happened to Shivaay? Suddenly, he is asking about Ani. There is something going around him, otherwise he won’t ask like this. Should I say that Ani likes him? No need, it’s between them, I don’t need to interfere. Eventually, he will know it. They should have some communication between them and he is very bad in starting it. He is behaving weird since their marriage. He never expected the one he used to fight is now his wife.

Om went to the garden and was about to call Gauri when he came.(Rudy is back!)

O: What happened, Rudy?

R: Are you free?

O: Yep! (Liar)

R: How will I tell Bhavya about what I feel? Today, she didn’t even react when I told her that I love her. (You will know it, when Ruvya part comes)

O: It takes time, Rudy. She will be thinking that you’re saying out of immaturity. You have to prove that you’re mature.

R: I am mature. Why should I show it?(Are you serious, Rudy? I don’t believe it!)

O: You want her to recognize your feeling, rt? Then, you have to do it.

R: Ok, Om

Rudy goes. Om calls Gauri.

G: Hello!

O: Gauri, I don’t know what happened to Shivaay?

G: What happened?

O: He suddenly asked about Ani’s childhood.He even told me not to tell this to anyone.

G: Did he start caring for her?

O: He cares for her since before. I remember how he thrashed Daksh and expelled him from the school when Daksh was stalking her. Thrashing is what any boy does, but expelling? So, he really cares about her.

Shivaay calls in between. But Om didn’t notice in between as he was talking to her.

O: Ok, Gauri, Bye. I have to do a painting.

G: Bye.

Om cancels the call. He then notices Shivaay’s missed calls. He then calls Shivaay.

saying that, Rudra Singh Oberoi tossed a little baby girl who was only 4 days old in gauri’s arms.

om: Rudra! what is all this nonsense? how can you call your daughter a burden? she is your blood!

rudy: she is not my blood! because of her, I lost my bhavya!

shivay: and you nearly lost your child! tell me why did you leave her outside in the rain?

rudy: because I want her dead! she is a bad omen and she deserves to die but unfortunately she had to live.

om: RUDRA! FEEL SOME SHAME! WANTING YOUR OWN BLOOD DEAD!

rudy: I HAVE SAID THIS ONCE AND I WILL SAY IT AGAIN! THIS CHILD IS NOT MY BLOOD AND NEVER WILL BE!

anika: Rudra! have some shame!

gauri: exactly! by trying to kill your daughter, you are trying to kill a symbol of your and bhavya’s love.

rudy: this child is nothing to me! she is a sin to me! the minute she was born, she became a bad omen. you guys can love this bad omen but me… I will never love this sin.

om: Rudra! you are crossing your limits! first you almost killed your daughter and now you are disowning her.

rudy: yes I am disowning this burden! now she is your problem.

and with that sentence, he left the house.

shivay: Rudra has definitely became mad.

just then the baby girl in gauri’s arms started to cry.

gauri: aww why is princess crying?

she kept her finger in the baby’s mouth but she still kept crying. she then gently rocked her but still she was crying.

gauri: she must be hungry.

anika: I got some baby milk in the kitchen, I will quickly get that.

gauri nods as anika goes to get the milk.

om: but think now, who is going to be her mama and papa?

gauri: all of us.

shivay: yes but when she grows up, she will have to call someone mama and someone papa.

om: unless some miracle happens when Rudra accepts his daughter, she needs someone to call mama and papa.

gauri: good point.

shivay: well me, anika and the kids live in America and I feel that this beautiful princess needs to stay in India.

anika comes in and gives gauri the bottle. gauri feeds the baby who stops crying and then goes to sleep.

om: me and gauri can be the baby’s parents. our kids sort of know the situation so there will be no jealously.

gauri: yes until Rudy bhaiya realises that his daughter is a gift from heaven.

all smile seeing the baby and gauri kissed her forehead.

CHAPTER 23

PoojAm’s Room

Pooja is lying on Gautham’s chest hugging him while Gautham is stroking her hair.

Pooja: Are you fine, Gautham?? Or still disturbed with the truth you have learnt??

Gau: Do you want to hear the truth or lie??

Pooja: Whatever you wished.

Gau: (hugs her closer) How I will lie to you?? I am very much hurt after learning the truth, Pooja. One thing I am feeling relief is our Ishu has returned safely to us.

Pooja: She has returned, Gautham but not as our old Ishu. Her heart is terribly wounded and it’s not easy to heal those wounds. She has been given the name which she didn’t wish to get in her life. We have to remove that name from her.

Gau: I know, Pooja. That’s why Rudra wants to take Ishu with him to Mumbai. He wants Ishu to take revenge on his family. (Pooja gets up from his chest)

Pooja: What?? Revenge?? No way!! Ishu won’t agree with this. What did you tell him??

Gau: We said the same to him. But he is very adamant for Ishu to take revenge on his family.

Pooja: Poor guy. He is willing to take revenge on his own family just for our Ishu. Ishu only stayed with them for few months but they fought with their family for her. Priyanka has left her family, her surname and the luxurious life and staying at the slum area as a simple person. I don’t know what to say about both of them.

Gau: I and Neil thought the same too. (Thinks something) Wait a minute. How do you know about this?? (Pooja realised that Gautham didn’t aware that she and Avni already know an about it. She tells him whatever happened today. His face turns into anger.) Scoundrels!! How dare they?? (About to get up but Pooja holds him.)

Pooja: Where do you want to go??

Gau: I want to find who are them and arrest them. (Pooja holds her head seeing her angry bird husband.)

Pooja: Where you will find them at this time?? Are they going to stay at the same place waiting for you?? (Gautham looks at her. Pooja hugs his neck.) My angry bird husband, already Rudra whacked both of them terribly for harassing his bhabhi. They won’t dare to come out for few days. So, you don’t have to be angry. Please change your angry mode into romance mode. (Gautham smiles sweetly at her.)

Gau: Romance mode is already on my wife. (Pooja smiles at him. He brings his face closer to her and brushes his nose with her’s.)

Pooja: (screams) Aaaarrggh!!! (Gautham is shocked hearing her scream and sees her wailing holding her nose.)

Gau: What happened, Pooja?? (Pooja pushes him.)

Pooja: My nose is paining. You are the reason.

Gau: (confused) What I did?? I just brushed my nose with yours. How it can be painful?? I know I’m a strong cop but that doesn’t mean a small touch can harm anyone. (Smirks) But still I’m proud of myself. My nose too can’t cause pain to someone. I think I can hit criminals using my nose. (Pooja looks at him in disbelief.)

Pooja: Here I’m in pain but you are praising yourself. What husband are you?? (Cries) Haww!! My nose!!

Gau: Ok. Ok. Let me see what is the problem with your nose. (Takes Pooja’s hand and looks at her nose. He sees the nose ring.) Nose ring?? When did you start to wear nose ring?? You never wear it before this. (Pooja slaps her head)

Pooja: This afternoon only. Not only me, Ishu and Avni too wear nose ring.

Gau: Really?? We didn’t notice this because of today’s tension. By the way, this nose ring looks beautiful on you. (Pooja smiles happily. Gautham goes and brings a small bottle.) The wound must be fresh. The pain will be less if we apply the oil. (Pour some oil and apply it on her nose.) Still paining??

Pooja: I won’t feel any pain when you are with me.

Gau: (smirks teasingly) Then, why did you scream just now?? “My nose is paining!!!” (Gautham imitates her. Pooja punches lightly on his chest and hugs him.)

At the Terrace

RuPriVeer are waiting for Ishana to say something.

Rudra: Bhabhi, please say something. Why NeilGau bhaiyas are not aware that you have adopted Mishti??

Ranveer: Adoption is a good thing but what is the need to hide it from them?? NeilGau would not have object your decision of adoption.

Ishu: Woh…. Actually, we didn’t adopt Mishti. Mishti is actually Neil’s baby. (RuPriVeer are shocked knowing this.)

RuPriVeer: What?? (Ishana nods at them.)

Prinku: Neil bhaiya’s baby means Avni didi’s baby too, right??

Ishu: Avni’s baby but……. (They look at her curiously. Ishana looks at RuPri) You both know right how I got pregnant last time?? This is almost same as that.

RuPri: Artificial insemination??

Ishu: Almost like that but through surrogacy. (RuPriVeer look each other confusingly.)

Ranveer: Ishana, say it clearly.

Ishu: Actually, Avni has met an accident when she was a kid where she has hurt her stomach. She didn’t take it seriously and thought everything is fine. Few years ago, she met Neil and they fell in love. Just few weeks before the wedding, she suddenly cried in pain holding her stomach. We are worried and took her to the hospital. The doctor said her uterus is terribly injured and her egg producing will be less. So, it’s very hard for her to get pregnant. Even if she get pregnant, maybe it won’t stay long. Avni was completely broken and she almost stop her wedding with Neil.

*Flashback*

Few years ago

Avni: I’m not going to marry you, Neil. Let’s stop the wedding. (NeilGau and IshJa who are discussing about the wedding arrangements are shocked hearing her. Neil gets up from his place and goes to Avni.)

Neil: What are you saying, Avni?? Why do you want to stop the wedding?? Did I do anything wrong?? (Avni looks at him with tear filled eyes.)

Avni: You didn’t do anything wrong, Neil and you won’t be able to do wrong too. You are too perfect. You are a perfect friend, perfect brother, perfect father and you are a perfect man. And you will be a perfect husband. (Cries)

Ishu: What are you trying to say, Avni?? Say it clearly.

Avni: Neil is perfect and he deserves perfect too. I mean he deserves a perfect wife which I am not.

Neil: What are you blabbering?? You are a perfect wife.

Avni: No, Neil. A perfect wife is the one can give heir for her husband, she can make her husband as a father. But, I can’t give that to you. I’m an infertile. (Cries badly)

Neil: Shut up, Avni!! Don’t you dare to say that!! (Holds her arm) Do you think that I’m marrying you to get babies?? My love is not weak that I will leave you after learning about your problem. You are perfect, Avni. You are a perfect human being, perfect friend, perfect sister and you will be a perfect wife for me.

Avni: But I can’t be a perfect mother, Neil.

IshJa: You are a perfect mother, Avni. (AvNeilGau look at IshJa.)

Ishu: (cups her face) One can’t be a mother just by giving birth. There is motherhood inside everyone. You are having it too. You are my mother. You know, even though my mother gave birth to me, she didn’t give that much attention towards me. She always lived in fear about the society. She was scared how she will answer if they ask about my father. Because of the fear, she always ignore me. I won’t say that she didn’t love me but she never showed her love towards me. After she died, my father took me with him. His wife has showered the love I craved but that didn’t last for long. Siddharth bhaiya felt that I am snatching his mother from him. So, I stayed away from her. After that, these two are my world (looking at NeilGau). They showered their love towards me. Then, Swetlana bhabhi came and we are sharing a good bond. She loves me a lot and always says that I’m her daughter. That is a mother. You and Pooja too love me very much and ready to do anything for me. You both are not less than a mother. Don’t you dare to say that you are not a perfect mother. My Avni is flawless. (Avni hugs Ishana)

Avni: Ishu, Neil must have wished to have a baby to call him as ‘papa’.

Neil: (pulls Avni from Ishana) Avni, it doesn’t mean that we only can be parents by giving birth to a baby. Adoption is there too. We can adopt a baby and raise him/her as our own child.

Avni: I know, Neil. But I want you to have your own baby, your own blood. You don’t have any problem. The problem is with me only.

Gau: Why are you repeating the same, Avni?? Listen, the doctor is not a God to decide anything. She is not the only one doctor in this country. We can go and consult with other doctors.

Avni: How if the other doctors say the same as this doctor??

Neil: I don’t care about it. That won’t lack my love for you. My love will increase but will never decrease. (Avni looks at him lovingly) Avni, before you came into my life, these two are my world. I never thought of falling in love till I met you. Your maturity, self independent, arrogance made me to fall for you. You know how much I love Ishu?? (Avni nods) My love for you is not less than her. If you leave me, I will become empty. I can’t live without you. (Avni can’t stand anymore and just hugs him tightly.)

Avni: I love you, Neil. I too can’t live without you.

Neil: (kisses her head) I love you, Avni. (They continue hugging each other for some time. IshGauPoo smile looking at them.)

Pooja: So, Avni, will you marry him now?? (Avni nods shyly still hugging Neil. IshJa sigh in relief.) Luckily, you agree for the marriage or…..

Gau: Or….??

Pooja: I thought to blackmail her that I won’t marry you if she doesn’t want to marry Neil bhaiya. (AvNeilGau look at her shockingly.)

Ishu: Really?? I thought to blackmail her that I will not eat anything till she agree to marry Neil.

Gau: You both thought to blackmail her like this?? (IshJa nod) You two are impossible!! (AvNeil laugh and hug IshJa.)

*Flashback ends*

Ishu: Finally, they got married. However, Avni still having guilt that because of her, Neil can’t have his own child. She wants him to have his own blood as his child. We don’t know when and how but she took him to a hospital and has done this surrogacy using his sperm.

Prinku: That means who carried the baby in the womb??

Ishu: Another lady who the doctor has found for the surrogacy. Normally, in this type of case both sides identity won’t be revealed to both parties. It will remain secret. Few days back, Avni received a call saying that she can take the baby. So, she went and brought the baby here. (Rudra looks at Mishti who is sleeping in the cradle.)

Rudra: Bhabhi, how many months old is Mishti??

Ishu: 3 months old. Actually, the baby need to be br*astfeed by the mother for three months. It’s for the baby’s goodness only. The doctor made sure the baby is healthy enough before handing over her to Avni. This is what usually will happen in surrogacy.

Ranveer: Why are you hiding this from Neil?? He should know about this.

Ishu: I know, Ranveer. But we don’t know how he will react after knowing this. Because it was shocking for us too. Avni did this without informing anyone of us.

Prinku: But, bhabhi, how long you can hide this?? One day, he will get to know it. It will be better if you tell him as fast as possible.

Ishu: Yeah. That’s why I asked Avni to tell Neil tonight and Pooja will be telling Gautham. (Mishti starts to wail in her sleep. Ishana lifts her and pats her calming her down.)

Ranveer: It’s getting late. Let’s go and sleep.

Ishu: Yeah. Ranveer, I have arranged a room for you and Rudra. You both can sleep there. (Looks at Priyanka) Priyanka, you sleep with me in my room. (RuPriVeer nod their heads. Ranveer takes the cradle and they leave from there.)

Next Morning

RuRan’s Room

RuRan are still sleeping when Rudra’s mobile rings. Rudra opens his eyes and yawns before answering the call. He looks at the caller ID and smiles. He answers the call.

Rudra: Hello, Soumya!! You are calling me this early morning itself. (Keeps silent listening to her. His face expression changed after a while.) What?? I will call you in a while. (Ranveer who just woke up is surprised with Rudra’s tensed voice. Rudra ends the call.)

Ranveer: What happened, Rudra??

Rudra: Problem is starting again. Come with me. (Ranveer doesn’t understand what Rudra is saying but he just follows him leaving from the room.)

AvNeil’s Room

Avni is drying her hair in front of the mirror. She is thinking how to tell Mishti’s truth to Neil. Neil just came out from the washroom after having his shower and sees her in deep thought. He goes and hugs her from behind.

Neil: Seems like you are thinking deeply about something. (Turns her towards him.) What is bothering you??

Avni: Neil, will you be angry on me if I tell you something?? (Neil holds her waist and pulls her closer.)

Neil: Why I should get angry on you?? And my Avni won’t do anything that can make me angry. (Avni’s eyes are welled with tears seeing his trust on her.)

Avni: What if I had hide something from you??

Neil: (confused) You are hiding something?? (Avni nods)

Avni: Yes, Neil. I’m hiding something from you.

Neil: What??

Avni: Neil, you know right that I can’t get pregnant??

Neil: Avni, you are undergoing treatment for that right?? And I don’t mind if you can’t get pregnant.

Avni: But, you can father a child. You don’t have any problem.

Neil: Again you are starting, Avni.

Avni: Neil, listen first what I’m going to tell you.

Neil: Ok, go ahead. (Avni gathers her courage to tell him everything.)

Avni: Neil, Mishti is not Rudra’s friend’s daughter. She is your baby.

Neil: (shocked) What??

Avni: Yes, Neil. Mishti is your daughter only.

Neil: (holds her arms) What the hell are you saying, Avni?? How come Mishti is my daughter?? Are you doubting on me??

Avni: Neil, it’s not like what you are thinking. Remember last year we went to hospital for my treatment. That time I talked to the doctor and learn about having a baby through surrogacy. I told the doctor that I want to have a baby through surrogacy. She agreed and asked me to talk with you. But I know that you won’t agree with that. I told the doctor to do it without your knowing. She refused first saying it’s wrong to do without husband’s permission but I begged her saying that I want you to have a baby of your blood. The doctor agreed hesitatingly and I lied to you to do a medical check up. The doctor made you unconscious and took your sperm that time. And it has been combined with another woman’s egg. After that, I has been transferred into the woman’s uterus. It has become successful and the woman become pregnant. This is how Mishti has born. Mishti is your baby only. (She finished telling him and looks at him who is holding tears in his eyes. Neil is completely shocked learning this revelation. He never expect that she has took this step to have a baby.)

Neil: How could you do this, Avni?? (Avni is about to hold him but he stops her.) No, Avni. I won’t accept this.

Avni: Neil, I just want you to have your own baby.

Neil: Did I ask you?? I told you right that I don’t care if we can’t have a baby. Then, why?? (He screams at her. Avni is shocked to hear him screaming at her. The man who never has raised his voice is now screaming at her.)

Avni: Please understand, Neil. I just wanted…. (Neil shows his palm towards her stopping her from saying anything.)

Neil: I don’t want to understand anything. And I won’t accept Mishti as my daughter. (He is about to say something again but stops hearing the knock on the door. He signs her to be quiet and wipes his tears composing himself. He opens the door and sees Gautham who is looking tensed) What happened, Gautham??

Gau: Neil, come down fast. (Neil understands that something is bothering his friend. He nods and leaves with him. Avni wipes her tears and follow them from behind.)
