Ishqbaaz 16th January 2019 Written Episode, Written Update on TellyUpdates.com

Shivaansh asks is everything ready. Sharda says yes. Dadi and Nani ask him why are Ahujas coming again. Shivaansh says I m trying to set everything right. Dhruv says they are here. Dadi and Nani welcome Ahujas. Bua says I never wanted to step in this house again, but Angad, he was quiet stubborn, he told me that Shivaansh wanted to talk to me. He says finally, you agree that you did a big mistake by hiding your sister’s flaw, I still stand by my words, if Shivaansh apologizes to me, I will consider this alliance. Shivaansh says we will have plenty to talk, we shall go and have food first. Someone in bride’s getup looks on. Sharda comes to that room and gets Shivaansh’s watch. She says whose watch is this, it must be of Shivaansh, I will keep this in cupboard as well. The girl goes to hit Sharda with a stick. Aasya comes to call Sharda. Sharda goes.

Angad sees Shivani and smiles. Dhruv asks Dadi to take soup. He sneezes and jerks Bua. Bua says he spilled the soup on me. Shivaansh says sometimes you drop things even if you can see properly, its not your fault right. Bua says accidents and mishaps can happen anytime with anyone. He says right, fate is to be blamed for it, such accident happened with Radhika too, no one talks about it, it wasn’t her fault, even then she is suffering till now, Radhika was blamed for Shivani’s relation breaking. Bua says this family is unbelievable, can’t you see the difference in lying and spilling the soup, you are ill mannered and stubborn, you are still lecturing me, how dare you, disgusting people, are you done insulting me. She asks Angad to come.

Aasya says Sharda has left a napkin here. She gets shocked seeing something and asks who’s there. The girl stares at Aasya… Aasya gets shocked. Nani and Dadi ask Bua not to go. Bua says we don’t want to get insulted. Shivaansh asks her to have some sweets, its a custom of their family. Radhika gets sweets. Shivaansh asks her to get some other sweets. He says Bua and Ahuja may have problem with these sweets, its not sugar free. He says I know you both have diabetes, so I have ordered sugar free sweets, you have also hidden a truth from us, how can you guarantee that Angad won’t have diabetes or arthritis, or that Shivani and Angad’s children won’t develop any disease in future, in this case, we should break the alliance, we have to think about Shivani’s future, we had hidden an accident, not a genetic disorder, you had said that accidents can happen anywhere with anyone, if this happens with Shivani, will Angad divorce her, if Angad’s love keeps changing with circumstances, I don’t want such a life partner for my sister. Bua asks did you hear, do you want to see more drama, this is our respect here, its enough of your hospitality. She leaves with her family.

Aasya gets hit. The girl drags her. Dadi asks Shivaansh to stop Bua. Bua stops and turns to see Angad. She asks Angad to come home. She asks why are you standing there, come with us. Angad says no Bua ji, Shivani and I are not at fault, why should we get punished, sorry, I won’t listen to you, because I love Shivani. He says yes, I love Shivani, if I ever marry, it will be only Shivani. Bua says I m doing this for your happiness. Shivaansh says no, you should have asked Angad what he wants, you have just seen Radhika’s flaw, not her qualities, she is just perfect, she lacks nothing, she completes our family. He hugs Radhika, Dhruv and Shivani. Angaad says Bua you said marriage is a bond between two families, where can we get such a family, where a brother doesn’t discriminate between cousin and own sister, where relations are seen, not kinship, I want to become a part of this family. He hugs Shivani. Bua looks on. Shivaansh says I m sorry Bua ji, if I have crossed any limit, I would like to apologize. Bua says no, you have done right, sometimes elders get stubborn like kids, you have shown much maturity, you protected the respect of your sisters, I m sorry, Radhika doesn’t lack anything, I think she is the luckiest sister to have a brother like you, person is defined by his relations, Shivani will be special too to get support from you and Angad. She apologizes to Nani and Dadi. She hugs Dadi and asks her to save tears for Shivani’s bidaai. She says after all this drama, I feel hungry, do you really have sugar free sweets. Bua feeds sweets to everyone. They all smile. Its morning, everyone dines. Dhruv does shayari. Nani pats him. Shivaansh comes and greets them. Khanna says Vajpayee has come. Nani asks why did you call the lawyer. Shivaansh looks on.

A week has passed Shivay has went back to New York, no phone calls to anyone except to Om for just saying that he is fine and he is trying to return back soon. Their aashirvaad rasam and all other rituals got postponed. He is purposely not picking up her calls and she understood this very nicely the previous day when he cut the call on it’s first ring.

“Pick up the phone damn it” she expressed stumping her foot.

‘The number you are trying to reach is not answering your call, please try after sometime’ …beep beep…

“Why the hell is he ignoring me?” tears formed in her eyes.

Her phone suddenly rang and she without checking picked up the call thinking it to be Shivay’s.

“How dare you not pick up my calls and reply me back huh? Listen mister… I don’t know what is the matter but I just want to see you in front of me today… get that?” she exhaled expecting a reply.

“Done Anika… my parents wants to meet you too… you have promised me to meet me but after that you didn’t fix any date to meet me, so just let’s meet today… please Anika, come soon at Moonshine Restaurant… my aged parents are waiting” the voice brought back her senses and her eyes widened.

“Ankush you?” shock is a small word to describe the expression she had.

“Please Anika… come and meet my parents once” he humbly requested and she knew how much Ankush’s parents preferred her so she had no scope to say no.

“Okay Ankush… I am coming” she unwillingly cut the call and changed her dress.

“Om… I am returning today, don’t say this to anyone… at first I will meet Anika and then I would go back to mansion, and listen… do not… I repeat… do not disclose this matter in front of anyone until and unless I come back” Shivay warned holding the wet at the bank of his eyes.

“But Shivay for once pick up Anika’s call… the girl is dying to talk to you” Om tried to make the man understand but when he takes a decision he himself can only change it and no one else.

“Om… just do whatever I asked you to do… please don’t question my deeds further and please don’t disclose this matter for now, let me return” he pleaded this time fearing that Om will disclose everything looking at the condition of his family members and their Anika’s state.

“Promise me Shivay you will fix up everything” lastly he can hope this only as Shivay has taken decision which no one can change.

“I promise” Shivay hurriedly cut the call as tears went down his cheeks.

“Namaste uncle… namaste aunty…” Anika greeted folding her hand.

“Please sit beta” Ankush’s mother asked her and smiled broadly seeing Anika settled over the chair.

“Beta… we want to share some of our feelings with you right now… you have every right to say no or yes… but beta listen to us peacefully and carefully” his father very calmly and clearly stated his point.

Anika nodded a yes hesitating from inside.

“See beta… our son Ankush loves you… you also know that” Anika opened her mouth to interrupt but before she could protest Ankush’s father continued.

“We know beta that you just see him as your friend… but beta… we always have desired to make you as our daughter-in-law.” his father stopped.

“Anika beta, I have heard from Ankush that your marriage is fixed but beta the boy who was to marry you has fled away keeping you here in this condition, we have heard about Shivay Singh Oberoi disappearing suddenly and Ankush told us that you were getting married to him only… and as far as I know businessmen, they only disappear like this after committing some crime… so just forget about marrying him dear… he is not going to come back” his mother said with every bit of confidence.

All the words stabbed this girl’s heart and she sat silently listening to everything. Her mind played and replayed all the moments she spent with Shivay in sync.

“Shivay… no… he is my Shivay… he is a gem… speak out Anika… just let these people know how much precious your Shivay is” she thought and tried to open her mouth but again Ankush’s mother started to speak and she held her words back.

“I promise you from my Ankush’s side dear that he would keep you happy in every possible way… please beta… just agree to marry him” his mother’s voice was soft.

“Please beta… Ankush has only waited for you till now… he has rejected all the choices he got for marrying, even he rejected a business man’s daughter who was head over heels in his love… please beta” these words from Ankush’s father’s side disgusted her more.

“If you want we will speak to your family” and this was it for her.

“Stop it aunty… stop it uncle… are you hearing yourselves” her voice seriously has risen high and the moment she realised it she stopped herself and closed her eyes.

Breath in… breath out… breath in… breath out… this calming exercise calmed her.

“Beta please give this a thought for once at least” his mother requested again.

“Aunty listen…” her voice is enough calm this time, only she is feeling the volcano inside her heart but she maintained her calm and spoke the next words “my marriage is already fixed with Shivay… it’s just that he is stuck with some of his deals… so he went to New York… please don’t assume things and aunty I have always seen Ankush as my friend and nothing more… today I came here only because of you two as you two have loved me like your daughter during our college days but aunty… few relations gets build from heart and I can’t even imagine Ankush as my husband then how can I marry him?”

“So… you are sure that your Shivay will return for you?” this sentence cleared that last words of Anika has hit the ego of Ankush’s father.

“Yes uncle” her confidence raised a level up.

“We will also see” is it a challenge? If so… then she was damn sure that she would win.

“Uncle, I am very sorry for letting you two down, but now I should return… bye aunty… bye uncle” without any further argument Anika got up and went out.

“Papa… Maa… she will understand that how much I love her… just give me some more days… she will definitely understand that I truly love her and not that Shivay” Ankush tried to calm down his parents knowing that Anika’s behaviour has made them to feel insulted.

“Listen Ankush… now if she gets ready to marry you, then we would take the revenge for this insult after your’s marriage with her” his mother cleared her point.

Time passed and as usual Shivay’s phone didn’t connect every time she called. She is getting broken down… each passing second… each passing nano second.

“Anika… Anika…” here came Ankush again to add fuel to the fire inside her heart.

Anika has perfectly hid the matter of meeting Ankush’s parents from her family and tried to put a happy face on.

“Why are you here Ankush?” she couldn’t hide her disgust more.

“See Anika… you insulted my parents but then too my love for you just increased… please Anika… please marry me… what’s there in Shivay that is not in me?” how dare he.

“Shut up… just shut up… dare you compare my Shivay to yourself” she shouted. Fortunately no one was there at house at that time.

“Why? Your Shivay is god or something? Listen… he has fled away and listen he is perfectly enjoying everything… every damn thing and even se…” she did not let him complete his sentence and a slap landed over his cheeks.

“Get out from my house, you have no class to speak such about my Shivay… go out I said” she held her collar and pushed him.

“You are marrying him for money right? From when you became such money minded huh?” he was testing her nerves.

“I am not marrying him…” she just uttered this much when the known voice interrupted her.

“You are not marrying me?” Shivay just entered and heard the last sentence and not the above conversation.

“Shivay… Shivay he… look na… he…” she tried to explain the conversation when he showed his palm and nodded no.

“It’s okay Anika… you need not marry me… I am not the one for you, it’s just that I understood it lately… it’s my fault Anika, you don’t feel bad… and I came here to say this only that we can’t get married and see you only said that you are not going to marry me… it’s okay… if you insist I would speak to both of us family… don’t push yourself to marry me only because your family wants… and I can’t marry you… I won’t marry you” he barged out of the room in light speed.

“Shivay… Shivay listen to me… listen to me once” she ran behind him to explain but he just got inside his car.

“Shivay… listen to me… Shivay…” he increased his car’s speed as she ran behind his car.

The moment his car started to disappear from her sight she ran and grabbed her car keys and started her car.

“Shivay…” she called aloud again following his car but he just increased the speed.

This chasing and following game continued until they reached at an isolated area. Shivay got down his car and she stopped immediately and got down.

“Shivay wait” he had no other options but to wait, he looked at her.

Her hairs messed up, tear stains down her eyes and dried up lips.

“Why are you doing this bub?” she by now has known his vulnerability towards this name.

“Listen Anika I made my point clear… and Shivay Singh Oberoi hates repeating his sentences but since it’s you let me repeat the sentence once more… I am not going to marry you… please just go” he looked away.

“Why Shivay? What has suddenly happened? See na… look at me once… please look” she tried to face him to look at her but his neck stiffened and his face lacked any expression.

“Anika Mukherjee… go back… and let your parents know that Shivay Singh Oberoi is breaking this marriage… he isn’t interested anymore to marry you” her hands dropped listening to the cold words.

“Ohh… that means… that means… you got someone else there…. there in New York… okay fine, just look into my eyes and say that you have got someone… I won’t mind Shivay… just say it” he knew that he can’t look into her eyes while repeating the line but he tried.

“Anika… I am not going to marry you… I am calling off this marriage and for this you are allowed to conclude whatever you want… just go back now… and listen don’t follow me” he said every word looking straight into her eyes with the same cold voice and same expressionless face and started walking towards his car.

“Fine… fine Mr. Shivay Singh Oberoi… go… just go to hell… but I also promise that I am marrying on the same date… nothing will change but the groom… I am getting married on the same day Mr. Shivay Singh Oberoi and you are gladly invited” she shot her words, every word a piercing bullet but he hurriedly went to his car and went away.

“Where were you Anika? Where you went keeping the gates open and why are you looking so devastated?” Mrs. Mukherjee sensed something is definitely wrong as her elder daughter entered the house.

“Shivay called the marriage off maa… he won’t marry me, he said that and… and I want to get married on the same day, just fix a groom” she uttered the sentence slowly in a low tone.

“What are you saying di?” Ishana freaked out.

“I have said whatever I wanted to… you have made me to meet at least seven to eight men, now choose anyone amongst them, I promise that I won’t say no to the one you fix for me maa. Just get me married on the fixed date” she is not in herself for sure.

She moved up to her room after saying all these and leaving behind her broken family.

So, I am back!!! With a new story!!! Interested?? Then comment!!!

Love has to overcome many obstacles and as you all know our Shivika has to face many obstacles. Shivika has always gone through both inner and outer fights for their love.

Okay, if you are a new reader, then I will tell you who is Shivika. Shivika is the ship name of our favourite lead characters – Shivaay Singh Oberoi and Annika Shivaay Singh Oberoi, of the serial ‘Ishqbaaz’. So, I am going to tell you another version of mine, where Veer administers a drug on Shivaay and makes him shoot Annika.

In this version, Shivaay shoots Annika for real. So, what will happen next? Giving a recap of the episode, you will have to wait for my version, readers! Only after getting a good amount of reactions, will I think what to write!

Veer says, “Well done Shivaay, no one would have given such a valentines day gift, action is over, now time for reaction.”

 He snaps finger and asks. ” Shivaay what did you do, you shot Anika, I heard bullet sound and came here to see, you shot Anika”.

Shivaay asks, “What, how can I?”.

Veer asks, “How did this happen?”

Shivaye sees Anika. Veer says, “You shot Anika whom you loved so much”.

Shivaye says, “I didn’t do anything, Anika you….”

He holds her. He checks her pulse. He says, “You can’t die, you can’t leave me”.

Veer says, “She has left you, you killed her”.

Shivaye hugs her and shouts,”No…..”

Veer goes after saying, “You better dispose her body off somewhere else. Otherwise, your family will be on streets.”

Shivaansh says I had some work with the lawyer. He goes. They ask Khanna why did Shivaansh call the lawyer. Khanna says I don’t know. He shouts to Shivaansh. Shivaansh asks them not to trouble Khanna. They joke on Khanna. Khanna asks why did you call Vajpayee, tell me at least. Shivaansh says I m scared with whatever happened with Radhika, I couldn’t do anything for her, who will protect her after I leave, I will make sure that she doesn’t get any trouble, so I called Vajpayee home. The lawyer asks him to think once again. Shivaansh signs the papers. Shivani says I will try the clothes, just tell me how is the fitting. Aditi comes and greets them. She asks where is Shivaansh. Radhika asks Nani to take Shivani in. Sharda sends Radhika too. Aditi says I feel someone was there in Shivani’s prop room. Sharda says you are mistaken, I didn’t see anyone there. Aditi says fine thanks, can I check that room again. Sharda says sure.

Aditi comes to prop room and looks around. She says why do I feel that something was here yesterday which isn’t here today, it means something is missing, is this that girl seen in the video, something is weird, I will find out. Shivaansh asks Avi where is Aasya. Avi says don’t know, I haven’t seen her since last night. Shivaansh asks him to call Aasya. Radhika asks him why is he cancelling his work. He says everyone asks me the same thing about marriage. Radhika says its a big problem, you can tell me, when are you marrying. She runs.

The girl in bride’s attire drags Aasya to storeroom. Aditi come there. She doesn’t see Aasya or the girl. Avi says Aasya isn’t answering. He asks Khanna did she tell him something. Khanna says no. Avi says this never happens. Khanna says I m afraid that she is in trouble. Aditi leaves. The girl drags Aasya again. Some files fall. Aditi hears the sound and stops. She goes to check. The girl leaves Aasya and runs away. Aditi sees the girl and follows her. Nani asks the men to spray in every corner of the house, there shouldn’t be any insects left. The men spray the medicine. It gets too smoky. The girl runs. Aditi sees her and tries to catch her. The girl jumps off the wall. Aditi says I have seen her in Shivani’s room, I have to tell Shivansh about the intruder at home. She goes. The girl looks on and comes back into the house.

Dadi asks Avi to go to Aasya’s house and find out. He says I went there, she isn’t there. Dadi asks where did she go. Khanna comes and says I found Aasya’s phone in corridor. Sharda says I didn’t see her after she came to call me. Aditi comes and asks where is Shivaansh, I have to talk to him urgently, there is some intruder here. They get shocked. Nani says I have seen someone on Shivani’s engagement day, they didn’t listen to me. Radhika says don’t scare us. Shivani says it means a stranger is living with us. Aditi says don’t take tension, I will catch her, help me, Dhruv get me the staff list.

Shivaansh comes to Dadi and Nani. He says I have changed the will, this is new will, I want you to keep this safe. Dadi asks what’s there in this will. He sings. Dadi blesses him to live a thousand years. He thinks I also want to live, but life doesn’t want this, I want to assure that you all don’t face any problem after I leave.

Shivaansh jokes and asks them to keep smiling. Avi comes and says Aasya didn’t cancel interview. Shivaansh goes. Nani asks why did he change the will. Dadi says he is Shivaye’s son, he has also changed the papers. FB shows Shivaye telling about Shivaansh and Shivani’s school admission papers. He says I have invested money for their future, sign on this as witnesses. Rudra asks what’s all this. Nani asks what’s the hurry. Shivaye says life has no guarantee, I don’t want my children to have any problem. Nani says you and Anika have to see your children growing up. Shivaye says maybe Anika and my parents saw this same dream, I want to be practical, maybe I m not there for future, I don’t want them to face troubles, its my duty as a father, I will do it. FB ends. Dadi says Lord has taken away our Shivaye, I wish Shivaansh lives long.

She asks Sharda to keep Shivaansh’s imp file safely. The girl looks on. Sharda keeps file and goes. The girl gets in the room. Sharda gives the keys to Dadi and says I won’t be able to come tomorrow, my sister is coming from village. She goes. Shivaansh asks where is Aasya. Reporter greets him. He does shayari. She asks are you ready for my show, Tonight with Rimi. He says yes, sure. She asks him to call his family members, my show focusses on star’s personal life more than professional life. He says sure. The girl tries to open the safe.

Rimi asks Shivaansh about his marriage. He says I m waiting for this interview to end. She asks are you hiding something from me.

Continuation from Episode 32:

After accepting the challenge,Shivaay moves towards the play-court,along with Anika and take respective positions.
Shivaay calls out her-

Shivaay:Anika,you make the first move.He passes on a badminton flower.Taking that she comes to his side.Shivaay says teasingly-

Shivaay:What happened?Want to lay your weapon down even before starting of the battle?
Anika:In your dream.
I have come to tell you some something and you have to agree.
Shivaay:What?

Anika:Since this is a game,it is going to have a winner and a specific result.
Shivaay:So?
Anika:Don’t you think there should be a prize declaration for the win?

Shivaay:I agree.What could be the prize?
He starts thinking.
Anika:Don’t do overthinking.I have already done that.
Shivaay:What are you waiting for then?Just tell.

Anika:Okay listen.
The one who loses this game will have to fulfill a wish of the winner and he/she can ask for anything.
Shivaay:Anything as wish?
Anika:Absolutely.But let me tell you,there is no back out.Deal?
Shivaay:Done.They shake their hands like partners!
Anika goes back to her side.

Four rounds are going to be played.Shivaay looks really excited while Anika enjoys his excitement.House stuffs leave and game starts.
(Three rounds get completed.Result is equal.After a short break,final and fourth round gets started)

Shivaay says in between playing-

Shivaay:You are going to lose Anika.
Anika:And who is saying that?
Shivaay:Shivaay Singh Oberoi!
Anika:SSO is going to lose and I am sure about it.
Shivaay:Yeh tum nahi,tumhari overconfidence bol rahi hai Anika.
Anika:Thori hi der mein pata chal jayega.

Game seems going to be drawn as few minutes are left.
Then,at one point while passing the flower over the net,Anika winks looking at Shivaay and makes a kissing gesture,seductively!
Shivaay was not ready for that and forgot to take aim at the flower.
It falls near him on the ground,declaring Anika as winner!

The moment it touches the ground,Anika starts rejoicing and celebrating her win by screaming and jumping.
There Shivaay stands still,mouth little open,with an unbelievable look.
Anika comes to his side.She says in a laughter suppressed voice-

Anika:Muh bandh karlijiye warna makkhi ghuss jayegi!
Shivaay gets his sense back.

Shivaay:What,what you just did?
Anika:What?I won defeating mighty,all-rounder SSO!So proud of you ASSO!
She pats herself.
Shivaay:One second.You did cheating and……..
Anika:Cheating?Hawwwwww………Okay,how?She chuckles.
Shivaay:You…You did,did that thing and I…….

Anika:Listen,I did nothing.You could not focus so you have lost.Aab mann lijiye ki aap har gaye Shivaay.
I am the winner of today’s game-
Anika Shivaay Singh Oberoi.

Shivaay:You did cheating and you know that very well.Don’t laugh okay?Otherwise I would have won the game.
Anika:I hope you have heard of this sentence-Everything is fair in love,war and in-game.
By the way,do you have any proof that I have cheated while playing?
She says bringing her face close to Shivaay,in a whispering voice.
Looking at Anika’s mischievous smile,Shivaay grabs her hands all of a sudden,alarming her-

Shivaay:Let me show you,how you cheated!

Before Shivaay could do anything,Anika frees herself and runs away.He too runs behind her.
They are chasing each other around the net-stand.Start throwing badminton flowers targeting each other.
Few hits the target and few misses.One flower gets stuck in Anika’s hair.Watching that,Shivaay laughs.
Anika pours out a whole box of flower on Shivaay and he manages to hold her finding the opportunity.

In the struggle of rescuing herself from Shivaay’s grasp,Anika stumbles and falls on the ground,with Shivaay.
They start rolling on the ground losing the balance on the grassy ground.Few seconds later Shivaay comes over Anika and rolling stopping the rolling.They are lying on the ground,panting,looking face to face.

This is where we will see Shivaay, in the rehabilitation center, now. He is going back home today. He was given the hope that Annika wouldn’t like him dying like this, he will have to live for Annika, for their love.

Shivaay was not the same in the past 2 years. After Annika went missing, Shivaay immediately confessed his crimes on that day itself. Knowing the story of Veer’s drugs trial on Annika, they tested Shivaay’s blood, the same day itself and understood he was innocent.

There was traces of drug in his blood and it was found out that this drug can make the person do anything as instructed by any other person, which Veer did. Shivaay was set free after all the case procedures, but he was not free from the guilt of a mistake which he has done.

He tried to attempt suicide a lot of times, but he was saved by someone or the other. At last, when they saw him into depression, they took him rehabilitation center, where he was taken back to the pace of life. But little did they know that Annika was, is and will be his life!

No wonder, they had to give hopes to him saying that Annika will be back as for their luck, Annika’s body was never found. So, this gave him hopes which he had already within as his heart was shouting at him to live for Annika but his sight of love was blinded by his guilt.

Now Shivaay was the old SSO, the one who was stoic. Annika’s Shivaay was in coma, waiting for miracle to wake him up from his deep sleep.

The house is dull without Annika. Even if anyone of the member is not there, then the house will be dull as if there is no light. The smile which came from the heart of Oberoi family was missing. They all moved on, so that Shivaay would move on, but do you think Shivaay will?

Shivaay can never move on, but after coming from the rehabilitation center, he made himself engrossed in his business. He started his own business which was a dream of his Annika. His Annika was a wedding planner. He even decided to make sure that Annika resumes her work after Veer-Roop fiasco. But all his dreams sank down on that day. That dreaded day.

He wished that day, disappeared from his life. He hoped that day never occurred in his life. His Annika left him, that day.

During these two years, it was Tej, Shakti, Om and Rudra who maintained the business. Gauri is working as fashion designer and Bhavya is still a police officer. What about him?

Everyone was equally broken, but not as Shivaay. They tried to convince him to move on, even though they knew he never will. If you enter his room now, you can see that no one stayed in the room. It was kept exactly as it was kept two years before except that it was cleaned.

Her clothes was his solace. Her special smell. Her shampoos, body lotion, dresses, accessories,  were kept as it was as it literally reminded him of her. Each day of his passed by writing a letter to Annika, but none of them were posted.

He made videos for her, but none of them were seen by her.

Their room was filled with her photos and everything kept there was of her taste, but she is not there to see it.

His feelings for her was expressed every day, but she never heard them.

His dreams were hers, but she never got a chance to listen to him telling it to her.

He didn’t get her shoulder to lie his head on.

He missed her embrace, as each day passed.

The thought that she was not there is killing him everyday.

His dreams of living a life with their daughter and her, where he will pamper her and she will be strict.

Sahil was broken after knowing his sister left him. Not his sister, she was his mother. He tried to be strong for his father SSO.

Rudy and Om too lost their Bhabhi and Bhaiyya that day. Annika was not Bhabhi for them, she was mother for them.

Gauri lost her sister and Bade Bhaiyya that day.

Bhavya lost her sister-like bhabhi and her bade bhaiyya, whom she looked on, even though she was a police officer.

Jhanvi lost her mentor cum daughter, Annika. Annika is the one who is responsible for her good relationship with her husband.

Tej  lost the Annika who mended him. He wished his daughter-in-law back.

Shakti lost both his son and daughter. His daughter who was the one who brought back his sweet Pinky back and his son who made him proud in anyway, that sometimes he used to feel that his son is his inspiration

Pinky lost her Heera beta and Heera bahu that day. Her bahu whom she regretted for separating from his son. She wished she didn’t do it. Maybe, if she didn’t do it, then maybe, they could have a life together.

Dadi has lost her Billu and her Annika. Her Annika, who was the light of the house. Her Annika who always was by her side any time. She, who thought to close her eyes, when she sees her Billu’s and Annika’s child, didn’t have that chance too.

Svetlana, Tia and Soumya who were the enemies feel guilty for troubling this family after knowing the truth. They wished they knew the truth earlier itself. Maybe if that was the case, then this wouldn’t have occurred.

Abhay too was back in the house, with his wife Tanya. They too wished that the truth were out in front of them before itself. Otherwise, they wouldn’t have lost their Annika Bhabhi.

Mahi, who came as Shivaay’s duplicate was really his brother. He too was sad by the demise of his bhabhi Annika. Maybe, she irritated him by her question, but he admired her by her character.

The light of the house has left them forever. Will it be back?

Rimi says all your fans want to know this. He says sorry, I don’t want to answer this question. The girl sees Sharda and hits her with the car. Sharda falls down and gets hurt. She gets up to leave. The girl takes the car reverse and hits her again. Sharda falls far. The girl goes to take her bag. Sharda sees her. The girl checks her purse. Her mask falls down. Sharda sees her face and says you….. The girl hits on her face.

Rimi says my question is very simple, its wedding season, the lover boy of Bollywood, the grand ambassador of love, why didn’t you get married, what’s the reason. He thinks of doctor’s words. He thinks I can’t fall in love, I m not destined to love and marry. He says I m waiting for this interview to end. Rimi asks are you hiding something. They say he is just shy. Nani says I will answer you, he hasn’t got married as he didn’t find any perfect girl, she should be exactly like him, she should be stunning. Dadi says she should be beautiful and cultured. Shivaansh asks what. Sharda faints. Nani prays for Sharda. She asks how is Sharda now. Shivaansh says she has slipped in coma. Dhruv asks when will she get fine. She says the problem is already there in this house, I swear I will find out, Sharda wanted to tell something before going in coma, I have to go to hospital so that I can take her statement when she gets conscious. Shivaansh comes to Nani and cheers her. She says you are like Shivaye, you don’t shatter on seeing problems, its good Kalyani has gone to ashram, she gets worried too soon. He says I will set everything right. She says I know, there is a wedding in the house, how can we think of functions, what if the intruder does something. He says don’t worry, you get busy with preparations of wedding, call pandit and ask him to do a puja. She says yes, we shall keep a puja and fix Angad and Shivani’s wedding date. He says yes, you need to have food first, I will be feeding you. Shivani, Radhika and Dhruv join. Shivaansh jokes on Shivani. Nani hugs Shivani. They all laugh.

Its morning, Nani checks arrangements. Pandit comes. Nani says you have to find Angad and Shivani’s marriage date, but you have to do something imp. Shivaansh asks about Sharda’s state. He asks did you find Aasya, just fine her some how. Nani gives Shivaansh’s kundli. She says he never shows his kundli to anyone. Dhruv asks how did you get this. Radhika says he locks it in safe always. Nani says I have stolen kundli, I had to show it to pandit. Dhruv says I m so proud of you. She says don’t tell this to him. Dhruv says don’t worry. Nani asks what about Khanna. Shivaansh calls Khanna. Shivani asks Khanna to stop. She says don’t tell him anything about kundli. Shivaansh asks where were you. Khanna says pandit has come. Shivaansh says he would have come to get Angad and Shivani’s marriage date. Khanna says and your Kundli. Shivaansh asks what. Khanna says Nani has shown your kundli to pandit. Shivaansh rushes. Pandit asks is this Shivaansh’s kundli. Nani says yes, what’s written in it, tell me. Shivaansh thinks if pandit tells them that I m going to die soon, my family won’t bear this shock. He takes kundli and asks Nani what is she doing. Nani asks so what. Pandit says you can get saved from harm by showing kundli. He takes kundli and checks it again.

CHAPTER 18
Later, Shivaay sat in his room playing the piano to help him forget. The notes came fast and furious, his fingers flying across the keys as he closed his eyes and waited for the music to drive Annika from his mind. It’s always been you.
The tone varied, fast and slow, angry and sad, as though giving the perfect background score as Annika’s pained, wounded face appeared in his mind just before she left.
It’s always been you.
But she hadn’t left. She had escaped. From him.
I just wish it were anyone else.
Shivaay’s fingers pressed on the keys as he stopped and swore, the thunderous noise from the instrument drowning his own.
Her cool response to him—so very deserved—had nevertheless left him consumed with a desire to possess her. To brand her his own.
He knew that if Annika had not stopped him, he would have taken her to his bed. The thought had left him paralysed and he had no choice but to drive her away. The truth in her eyes….. It haunted him.
He shook his head, as if he could clear it of her memory. What was it about this woman? This plain, unassuming woman whom he had never before noticed? There was nothing about her that was plain or unassuming now.
He hated himself for thinking about her as such.
He recalled Natasha referring to her as passably pretty and he wondered at the words. Annika was not simply passably pretty, she was not just exotic.
He had no more words to describe her. The strength with which she faced him, the straightforward approach of hers– She was the living image of her name. She was a Godess.
And he wanted her now with a ferociousness that surprised him.
Of course, he could not have her.
Mahi had been right! Annika wanted love.
Shivaay had known that from the very beginning—she didn’t hide her belief in the power of the emotion, her unwavering faith in it. He paused in his playing, wondering what it would feel like to believe so strongly in the power of love to do good. To bring happiness.
He shook his head, bowing low over the keys of the piano. He’d never seen that side of love. He’d only seen the pain it gave, the devastation it left behind when it disappeared. A memory flashed, of his father professing his undying love for his wife. A wife who walked out on her duties as wife and mother without ever looking back. Twice.
So much for love everlasting.
He might not agree with Annika’s assessment of love, but it did not mean that he had the right to treat her so unconscionably. She deserved infinitely better.
He would apologize. Even if he did not regret his actions in the slightest.
He continued to play, the notes growing slower, more contemplative, reflecting the mood of Shivaay as he relaxed now that he knew what to do.
A knock sounded and Shivaay paused, wondering if it could possibly be Annika who had come back to him again. He turned and spoke for the person to enter.
Swara : Shivaay!
Another person who deserved his apology. He was clearly not doing well at the moment.
Shivaay : Swara! Please come in. I… I am sorry. I did not notice it was so late.
Swara switched on the light as she stepped inside. Shivaay noticed she held a package in her hands and wondered what it was.
Swara : It is late. I came… I…
Shivaay : Oh, let me speak first. I’m sorry for today. I should not have told all those words to you.
Swara smiled and Shivaay returned the gesture.
Swara : I’m sorry too. I will try not to lose my temper so often.
Shivaay : Something that we both should try.
Swara chuckled, then held out the cover towards him.
Swara : It’s customary to give a gift after a fight to maintain shanti, Isn’t it?
Shivaay smiled at Swara’s usage of hindi. She was fluent but she still didn’t speak clearly. He took the package, curious to see what it was.
How long had it been since he’d received a gift? A gift from someone who expected nothing in return? Looking back at his sister, he registered the expectant excitement on her face—her obvious hope that he would enjoy whatever was inside.
He took out a gift wrapped rectangular object. A book. How funny. He opened the gift wrap carefully and saw the book. A music book of the world’s greatest composers : Beethoven, Mozart and many more. Shivaay’s eyes lit up as he ran his fingers through the music notes, his hands itching to return to the piano and play all night.
Shivaay : This is such a thoughtful gift. Thank you.
She gave a small, shy smile and nodded.
Swara : I’m so happy you like it.
He marveled at the fact that this girl who had been through so much, who had found herself unceremoniously delivered to the doorstep of a complete stranger a continent away, would have thought to purchase a gift for him.
Shivaay (looking around guiltily) : I don’t have a gift for you.
Swara : Of course not. This is just what families do, right?
Shivaay : I wouldn’t know. It’s been just Mahi and me for a long time now.
Swara leaned forward and hugged her brother impulsively.
Swara : Well, it’s the three of us now. We can be the sort of family who give gifts to each other for no reason.
Shivaay put an arm around his sister feeling lighter than he had in a long while. He drew back and kissed her forehead gently.
Shivaay : That sounds marvellous.
Swara (casually) : May I suggest that as the only sister, she is entitled to be spoilt with lots of gifts.
Shivaay (laughing) : I agree. Maybe you should discuss this with Mahi.
Swara : Really? Do you think he’ll agree?
Shivaay : You can certainly hope so.
They settled into companionable silence for a few long minutes, and Swara watched as Shivaay leafed through his new book.
Shivaay : This is an amazing gift, Swara. Thank you.
Swara : Annika thought you will react like this. She said that you will love it.
Shivaay stiffened at the mention of Annika.
Shivaay : She did?
Swara : Yes. She is very good at judging people. She gives excellent advice.
Shivaay shifted in his seat.
Swara : You look guilty, Shivaay.
Shivaay : Yes, Well– I may have yelled at her as well.
Swara : Yeah, You do have a tendency of being tactless.
Shivaay smiled and looked at his sister.
Shivaay : Pandey never told me you were this cheeky. No one’s ever spoken to me such.
Swara (shrugging) : You were overdue for a sister then.
Shivaay : Right!
Swara stood up and looked at him.
Swara : Annika is truly a very nice girl. She will do all she can to make a situation right.
A vision flashed, Annika standing in the doorway of his study, so obviously hurt by the words she had overheard and yet so willing to speak for Swara to him. As though her personal pride were somehow less important than Swara’s happiness.
When he turned his attention back to his sister, she was looking at him with a knowing gaze.
Swara : You’ve noticed that.
Shivaay : It’s hard not to.
Swara : You should apologise to her and make things right between the two of you again.
Shivaay : I will.
Swara smiled and nodded. She bade him good night but Shivaay stopped her.
Shivaay : I have tickets for an art exhibition tomorrow. My charity sponsors the gallery and they really want me to attend. Would you like to come too?
Swara flashed her brilliant smile again and nodded enthusiastically.
Swara : I would love to. I haven’t seen much of Kolkata yet and anything would be fun, except for the shops ofcourse. Oh, Speaking of which, how much poorer are you now?
Shivaay stared at her, then burst out laughing.
Shivaay : Cheeky brat, you need a brother more than I need a sister.
Swara winked.
Swara : You may be right.

The next day, Annika got down from the car and waited for her sister and Om to join her.
Gauri : I can’t believe we are coming here. Seriously, Couldn’t you have chosen something else to do?
Annika : You know I love art. Besides, If I have to spend the day with that man, I need to do something that I love.
Gauri : But this is just an exhibition. It’s colour on a piece of paper. What’s so great about that?
Annika (chuckling) : Haven’t you heard the quote – “The earth without art is just eh”? You understand so much about yourself and the person who painted it. The reason he or she did this, the reaction and change you observe in yourself as you observe the painting. It’s all about introspection.
Gauri : Or it’s a ruse to ignore him as he walks with us.
Annika : No, that’s a plus. Now come on. I want to go in as quickly as possible.
Om : Shouldn’t we wait for him?
Annika groaned. The last thing she wanted to do was spoil her gorgeous day. But Om was right. He had called yesterday and when she had replied in the affirmative, it was only responsible of her to stay there and wait for him.
Gauri : How rude. He told us to be here at eleven, Right? Then, where is he? Shall we atleast get the tickets?
Annika : He said he already had tickets. Otherwise, I would have said no. But it seemed mean when he had them.
Gauri : And you dragged me here so that you could avoid spending time with him.
Annika : Don’t you dare ditch me, Gauri. I need the support to get through today.
Gauri rolled her eyes, then turned to Om who smiled and drew her to him. Annika smiled at the adorable couple, then sighed, knowing that it was useless to pine for something that would never happen.
Gauri : I think he’s here. Yes, Look, there he is. Come on, Annika! Let’s go greet him and go inside. Then you can fawn over your art as much as you like and I will fawn over Om.
Om (shocked) : Gauri!
But Annika was not listening to them. She looked at the approaching man and her insides froze. Would today be wonderful?

CHAPTER 19
Annika forced a smile as she greeted the addition to their party.
Annika : Mr Khanna, How nice of you to ask us to accompany you today.
Daksh Khanna gave her another of those weird beaming smiles, then turned to Gauri and Om who nodded politely and greeted the man.
Daksh : Ofcourse, Miss Mishra! I don’t suppose you’ve been to a special showing of art before?
Annika bit her lip, wondering how to answer. However, Gauri who had overheard that last remark, chuckled.
Gauri : Annika is very into art, Mr Khanna. She spends days in art galleries and is invited to every showing here. Our father was just like her and Akshat has made sure that the invitations continue.
Daksh : So, you actually come here to view the art?
Annika looked at him confused.
Annika : Ofcourse. Doesn’t everyone?
Daksh : You will notice many of the Elite today. People come only to get noticed at such special gatherings.
Annika blinked so that she could stop rolling her eyes. This man was just like everyone in society. He clearly was a prancing peacock. Nevertheless, she smiled.
Gauri : Excuse me, Mr Khanna. I have to talk to Annika for a minute.
Before Mr Khanna could protest, Gauri dragged Annika towards a portrait of the famous scene in Mahabharat – Draupadi’s vastraharan.
Annika : What’s wrong with you? Why did you drag me like that? It was really rude.
Gauri : Don’t tell me you want to spend time with that man.
Annika : Ofcourse not. But I also don’t want to be rude to someone who invited us to go with him.
Gauri (sighing) : Fine! But we have to wait for Swara first.
Annika stared at Gauri startled.
Annika : Swara Bose?
Gauri : Do you know any other Swara? Apparently her brother said that he would come with her today.
Annika : Which brother?
Gauri : Shivaay Singh Oberoi.
Annika opened her mouth to speak, uncertain of what to say, only sure that she would have to leave before she ran into Shivaay. She couldn’t see him. Couldn’t be in the same room with him. It didn’t matter that half of Kolkata would be there as well. Annika began to feel panicked.
Daksh : Here are the beautiful ladies. We’ve been searching for you, Misses Mishra.
Om smiled a bit sourly obviously not pleased Gauri gave Daksh a fake smile but Annika grinned. This was her chance to escape Shivaay.
Daksh : Miss Mishra! Would you like to see the early Greek paintings upstairs?
Annika smiled and nodded.
Annika : Ofcourse, Mr Khanna! Why don’t we go there while Gauri and Om come at their own pace?
Daksh gave another of his weird smiles and Annika sighed inwardly. This man would drive her nuts but anything would be better than to look at Shivaay Singh Oberoi today.
They walked upstairs in silence and Annika had almost forgotten about the man next to her when he suddenly placed his palm on hers. She looked up startled.
Daksh : I’m glad we have a chance to be alone.
Annika raised her eyebrows confused. What was this man’s problem?
Annika : Excuse me?
Daksh : We finally have a chance to be alone together. You must be feeling so happy. You feel so lucky, right?
He ran a single finger discreetly down the length of her forearm, and his smile broadened as he leaned in presumably to steal a kiss. A kiss that Annika had no intention of giving him. She took a step back.
Annika : Mr Khanna! Look at the painting of Medusa! Isn’t it horrifc but lovely?
She hoped the man got the hint but even before he could respond, his phone rang.
Daksh : Excuse me, Miss Mishra but I have to take this. It’s from my office.
Annika smiled in relief and nodded. He walked to a nearby balcony which was mostly free and Annika stepped into the next room to look at more of the Greek paintings.
She didn’t know what it was about paintings that made her feel at home. While books helped her escape her monotonous life, paintings made her feel at home. The frozen moment captured for everyone to see, it was special.
She looked at a picture of Helen of Troy and Paris, both gazing at each other with such adoration and Annika smiled. The next picture was of the Olympian Council of the Gods.
Annika (whispering) : Zeus, Posiedon, Hades, Hera, Ares, Apollo, Athena, Artemis, Aphrodite, Hermes, Hephaestus, Dionysus, Demeter…… So magnificent!
Voice : You look right at home.
The dry words startled her, so close to her ear, and she stiffened in immediate recognition.
Willing herself to remain calm, she turned to face the speaker.
Annika : Mr Oberoi!
She kept quiet, wondering why he was here. She was tired of fighting him, tired of Daksh Khanna, though she had barely spent more than ten minutes with the man. Most of all, She was tired of both of them ruinging her day.
Shivaay : Miss Mishra! I had hoped that you would be here.
The words, and the implication that he’d sought her out, would have elated her months ago. Today, however, she wanted nothing more than to turn on her heel and run from him. Meeting his blue eyes served only to remind her of the embarrassment and pain that he had delivered her at their last meeting.
Her heart constricted at the thought of having another conversation with him, knowing that she was little more than a pawn in some game she did not understand.
She could not summon graciousness.
Annika : I don’t think I believe you, but tell me, Why were you looking for me?
Shivaay : I wanted to talk to you.
Annika : Well, I find that I don’t want to talk to you.
She walked to the door and tried to move out but at that moment, a school party filled with what seemed thousand students rushed in, nearly knocking Annika over like a skittle.
Shivaay placed a hand on her back steadying her and she placed a hand on his shoulder as she attempted to right herself. Shivaay moved them out of the way to a corner as the room became crowded with the students.
Annika : You did this, Didn’t you?
Shivaay looked back at her amused.
Shivaay : What do you think I did? Paid a ridiculous amount of money to the school and make sure the students came into the room as you left? Not to mention the fact that I wasn’t sure if you would be here or the fact that we would meet in this room? I may have power and prestige but I don’t have any prediction skills, Goddess.
Annika blushed at the sweet nickname. So intimate, it seemed.
Annika : Don’t call me that.
He placed his hand on her elbow and they walked out of the room as Shivaay led them into another side room and then another, and another.
Annika : Where are we going?
Shivaay finally stopped at a small indoor corridor of sorts which was empty. Annika could hear voices on the other side of the closed door and guessed that the Greek paintings were on that side.
Annika : What are we doing here? I have to go back. Gauri, Om, Even Daksh Khanna will be looking for me.
Shivaay : Do you like him?
She ignored him, instead moving to pass him and escape around the edge of the screen into the room beyond. He captured her hand as she pushed past, and the touch stopped her. He did not hold her firmly enough that she couldn’t extricate herself from his grasp, but the heat of his hand against her own made her look back at him, forced her to meet his eyes.
In that moment, the only thing he wanted was for her to stay with him. For her to forgive him. He’d arrived with Swara, ready to find Annika and apologize for his behavior—ready to do whatever it took to repair the obvious hurt that he had caused.
And he’d located her almost immediately, beaming up at the idiot Khanna, clearly having a lovely time, as they were walking upstairs. The sight had infuriated him—Annika so lovely and happy, Daksh so foppish and simple.
She’d never smiled so openly at Shivaay. And if she were to do so, he certainly wouldn’t respond as Daksh had, the fool, walking away from her. No. If she ever looked at him in such a way, he’d sweep her into his arms and kiss her senseless. Hang the location.
Hell. He wanted to kiss her senseless right then, and she certainly wasn’t smiling at him.
Shivaay knew why Daksh was pursuing Annika. It didn’t have anything to do with her at all. The stupid wager that he had set with him must have sent Daksh into action. Stupid man. No, Shivaay was the one who was stupid for letting this happen.
Shivaay : You shouldn’t get attracted to him.
Annika smiled tauntingly at him.
Annika : Why do you care if I do?
Shivaay : The man clearly has brains no bigger than a baby. He’s just a society parrot.
Annika : Obviously.
Shivaay blinked. This was not the response he was expecting.
Shivaay : Then why did you come out with him?
Annika : Because he asked.
Shivaay’s heart missed a beat. The words, so wistful, frustrated him.
Shivaay : That shouldn’t be enough, Annika.
She gave a small, sad smile that tugged at his heart.
Annika : It shouldn’t.
Shivaay felt a strange pressure in his chest at the words and, in that moment, the decision was made. He had to do something to make her happy.
Their gazes locked for several long moments and he took her hand in his. She attempted to remove it but he found that he could not let her go. His fingers tightened around hers, unyielding. She looked to him with surprise.
Shivaay : Come out with me.
Annika : Excuse me?
Shivaay : Let us go somewhere together, please? You came here with Daksh. Say you’ll come somewhere out with me also.
Annika : It’s not a competition, You know.
Shivaay : Then say yes. Please?
Annika looked at the earnestness in his eyes and nodded. He relaxed and smiled at her. Annika’s breath caught. She thought one bottle of his smile could make any disease, any suffering disappear. If only smiles could be sold, Annika would be his only customer.
Shivaay : Do you want to go for dinner tomorrow? Or a picnic?
Annika came back from her thoughts and shook her head.
Shivaay : A dance then? The mall? Anything.
Annika gave a wicked look and Shivaay frowned. He knew what this was about.
Shivaay : You’re thinking about your list, Aren’t you?
Annika : Of course. You said that I shouldn’t do anything without you. I’m merely sticking by my promise, You see.
Shivaay chuckled at her eagerness and nodded.
Shivaay : Alright then, Annika. Where do you want to go?
Annika : The Poker House.
Shivaay took a step back. Did she actually say….
Shivaay : The Poker House?
Annika nodded, satisfied.
Shivaay : You want to go gambling? In the Poker House?
Annika : That’s right, Mr Oberoi.
Shivaay : I don’t there’s any more need for formality between us after what you’ve asked me.
Annika : Alright then, Shivaay. You can take me to The Poker House where we shall gamble.
Shivaay : Do you even know how much money those people play for? Lakhs of rupees. Let me take you somewhere else. Somewhere where they won’t care. If anyone finds out you’ve been to the Poker House, they will….
Annika : I know how risky this is, Shivaay. However, going to some other casino or club is something that I can do any day. I want to go somewhere forbidden, somewhere that’s so public yet so private. Have you ever been there?
To Annika’s amusement, Shivaay flushed red.
Annika : Well, It looks like the man who managed to rescue a mermaid and seduce her is capable of blushing as well.
Shivaay stared at her.
Shivaay : A mermaid? I did no such thing.
Annika winked wickedly.
Annika : Ah! A rumour put to rest.
Shivaay : Coming back to the point, What if you’re caught?
Annika (scoffing) : We won’t get caught if we’re careful. I didn’t get caught in the tavern or the fencing club.
Shivaay : Have you forgotten that I caught you?
Annika : Yes, But you’re different.
Shivaay looked at her, exasperated.
Shivaay : How?
Annika : Well, it seems you are my partner in crime.
She smiled then, a beaming grin not unlike the one he’d seen her give Daksh earlier.
He lost his bluster at the words, feeling the full force of her pleasure like a blow, and a nonsensical wave of pride coursed through him…pride at being the one she would turn to with such excitement, pride at being the one she would ask to escort her on such an adventure. And, in that moment, with everyone mere inches away from their hiding place, he was struck by her beauty—her bright eyes and her mouth, wide and welcoming and enough to bring a man to his knees.
She was really quite extraordinary.
The revelation made it difficult to breathe, so intense was the truth of it.
Shivaay : You’re so beautiful.
Annika’s eyes narrowed and she scowled.
Annika : Don’t think you can flatter your way out of this. We’re going gambling.
Shivaay : Of course.
Annika : And your compliments won’t stop me. I will go whether you want me to or not.
Shivaay : Don’t worry. I will take you.
Annika : Even if you won’t take me…. I’m sorry, What did you say?
Shivaay : I said I would take you.
Annika : Oh!
Shivaay : Yes, I thought that might shut you up.
Annika looked at him offended.
Annika : Did you just call me a….
But she could say no more for he had set his lips to hers. She was consumed by his nearness, by his touch. The heat that emanated from his hands around her went all the way to her toes.
This kiss was different from all that they had shared before—softer, seeking, as though they were both discovering something altogether new. This was a concert of stroking tongue and soft lips. Shivaay lifted his head and waited for her to open her eyes; when she did, he was struck once more by her loveliness. He searched her face, watching as she returned from the sensual place where the kiss had taken her.
Annika : You said I was not exotic.
Shivaay : You’re not.
Annika’s eyes widened. But Shivaay moved forward and nibbled on her ear.
Shivaay : You’re intoxicating. You’re splendid. You’re a Goddess.
He kissed her again. Moving as one, they finally stopped, as Annika leaned against the wall, her hands tousling his hair.
Shivaay finally drew back, cursing as he did so. If they didn’t stop now, then explaining themselves to anyone who found them would be difficult.
Shivaay : I originally came to apologise to you.
Annika : I beg your pardon?
He pulled her into his arms as he placed a chaste kiss on her forehead.
Shivaay : My behaviour that day was inexcusable. In fact, my behaviour around you has been abominable every time. I don’t know why I keep…. You deserve better. I’m so sorry.
Annika looked at him, but did not say anything. Instead, she put her arms around him and settled her head on his shoulders. Shivaay was astonished. For all their kisses and conversations, this was the first time that they had hugged. It felt comforting.
It felt right.
He kept an arm around her waist while he played with her hair with the other. Finally, Annika drew back and gave him a small, shy smile.
Shivaay : I made peace with Swara.
He did not know why he felt that he had to tell her, but he did.
Surprise flashed across her face, there and gone so quickly, he wasn’t entirely certain it had been there at all.
Annika : I am happy to hear it. She is a good girl. And I believe she is coming to care for you deeply.
The words made him uncomfortable though he could not understand why.
Shivaay : I’ll wait in the alley next to your house tonight. Will it be possible to go today?
Annika nodded.
Annika : I will be there. I think I should return now. People will be looking for me.
Shivaay frowned. Daksh Khanna again. How he wished he could punch and break a few teeth of the man.
Shivaay : Yes, you looked quite enraptured with the paintings. I won’t deprive you of them. I wish I understood what drew you to them but you know I prefer music instead.
The last words were spoken softly near her ear. They were meant to fluster her, to remind her of the evening in his room… of their first kiss. The strategy worked, and Shivaay couldn’t help the pleasure that shot through him at the sound of her breath catching.
Annika : I should go now.
She looked at him for a long time, then turned and went out the same way they had entered.
Shivaay smiled as he realised he would meet her again tonight.

Tears rolled down from her cheek as she says, “He cheated our love. He could have at least told me that his family is in danger, I would have left him. But no! Sparing Anika’s waist,Shivaay takes the vermilion box from her hand.Opening it he takes a pinch of sindoor then goes on filing Anika’s already sindoor adorned hairline.
She closes her eyes.Shivaay kisses Anika in the middle of her forehead holding her chin.Anika opens her eyes.
The very next moment he lifts Anika in his arms,almost all of a sudden.Anika says in a surprised but happy tone-

Anika:Kya kar rahe hain aap Shivaay?

Saying that Shivaay heads for the bed,taking Anika in his arms.Going there he places Anika in the middle of the bed.Then,tracing her face at the tip of his finger,Shivaay lifts Anika’s chin and brings his lips to kiss her.

Shivaay enters into the room.He finds Anika under the cover of the duvet.Her dupatta is seen outside of it.He goes and sits on the bed.Anika’s murmuring is getting heard.He tries to hear what she is saying but could not figure out anything.
Shivaay says to a duvet covered Anika-

Shivaay:Anika?What are you doing covering yourself like that?Come out.You will get suffocated.
Anika peeps out of the duvet but seeing Shivaay,she covers herself again.

Shivaay:Anika,come out,come on.Have you taken your medicine?
Anika brings her face out and says-

Anika:I am planning something.Don’t disturb me.She vanishes once again.
Shivaay gets on the bed then takes the duvet off Anika like she is a newly-wed bride on first night!
Holding the duvet over Anika’s head he looks at her.Few seconds later he puts it aside.There Anika says in fake anger-

Anika:Can’t you stay away without seeing me for few minutes Shivaay?
Shivaay is taken aback with this sentence of Anika.She is looking straight at his face.Shivaay manages to say somehow-

Shivaay:Actually…Woh…I was just curious to know what,what were you doing.Tha..That’s it.He fidgets with words.
Anika:I was thinking what should I ask from you as my gift for my win.Shivaay says laughing-
Shivaay:You manipulated the game to win remember?So score is equal.Neither you win nor I.
Anika:You are such an unromantic husband Shivaay!
Okay,I accept,I did cheating.Happy now?Anika turns her back on Shivaay.

Shivaay:I was just telling….He could not finish as his phone rings.Rudra is on the call-Excuse me.
He leaves to take the call.
He returns finishing talking.Anika is seen arranging the bed.Watching him she says-

Anika:You must be tired Shivaay.Even me too.Let’s go to sleep.
Shivaay is hesitating to step in.Observing that Anika says-

Anika:What are you looking at?She gets down the bed and reaches for Shivaay.She brings him on the bed and makes him lie down.Getting on the bed,Anika covers them with duvet then nestles in Shivaay’s arm keeping her head on his chest.Shivaay has to encircle his hands around Anika.She yawns and says while nuzzling-

Anika:I am feeling so sleepy.And don’t you dare go anywhere leaving me alone on the bed.I was so scared that night.
Shivaay:Which night Anika?
Anika:That night when we came from hospital in Sunflower Petals.Shivaay recalls that day.He says in an assured voice-
Shivaay:I won’t go anywhere.Anika says in her half-asleep tone-
Anika:I know.
Smiling she grabs Shivaay more closely and goes to sleep.Taking a deep breath,Shivaay closes his eyes too………

Anika wakes up in Shivaay’s arms.He has hold her like the most precious object in the world.
Anika tries to move out but could not because of Shivaay’s strong hold.Still she tries but Shivaay flips her on the right side capturing her once again.Very carefully Anika takes those stubborn hands of Shivaay off her and sits on the bed.
Sitting next to Shivaay,she keeps looking at him,adoringly.Placing one elbow near Shivaay’s pillow and supporting her head with that Anika says in her mind-

“Sometimes I feel like you don’t want to come close to me but very next moment you prove me wrong.Your enigmatic personality and behaviour confuse me a lot when I see you struggling accepting and doing a normal thing between husband and wife.
I feel you make an invisible boundary around you,intentionally.Just can’t get the point of your such inhibitions for me.
If I ask,you will put your most weird possible logic in front of me which makes me bore like anything!
Husband Ji,I have to re-discover you from the start and I am sure,you won’t cooperate!But you don’t know me.I am Anika and I know how I will have my own way.Just wait and watch Shivaay Singh Oberoi,what Anika Shivaay Singh Oberoi is going to do!”

Anika comes down where shivay was already standing all people chose there partners for couple dance the lights were dim and suddenly the light comes on them So shivika comes in center they had no other option other than dancing together shivay slightly puts his hand on Anika’s waist and Anika too puts her hand on shivay’ shoulder they both lock each other hands and so did their eyes got lock they were lost in each other

Shivay and Anika Complete thier dance they danced on raabta

“Where were you both “om asked

“I was upstairs just seeing OM” Anika replied with a nervous smile

“And I had some work… “shivay said not makings a eye contact with Om and rudra

They both sit in car Anika had some problem in fixing her seat belt so Shivay helped her they were so close to each other there was pin drop silence and finally Anika broke the silence

Anika slaps the goon

Anika holds the collar of two goons together and start beating them.

One goon attacked with a stick on his head anika holds that stick and breaks it.

Shivay gets shocked seeing that avtar of anika

Another goon attacks on anika shivay saved anika from him and beaten him harshly
“No one can touch anika!!”Shivay shouted on top of his voice

Just then one goon pointed gun toward shivay

“Shivayyy…..” She Shouted
And stands in front of him
shivay hugs and covers anika in order to save her also

Suddenly police jeep comes there
All goons immediately left the spot

“I hope you both are fine… We were just passing by and saw you in trouble”inspector said

“Thank god inspector you are here” Shivay replied

“Sir don’t worry we’ll drop you home safely”he offered him

“No it’s okk I’ll go by my own but please drop anika to her house” Shivay replied smilingly

“Okk sir”inspector replies

“Thank you soo much anika for saving from that goons”shivay said

“Thanks to you also you too saved me from those goons”anika replied

Anika starts leaving with inspector when shivay called her name

“Anika… Do come in my wedding” he said sadly

Anika smiled in reply a tear escaped from her eyes but she didn’t know why it happened

And to her shock his dad was trapped by deepak roy
