EPISODE- 5

“Shivi…beta have dinner” Anika said trying to feed Shivi. But she being the naughtiest of all moving her head up and down and left to right.

“Naahhh..” she said and tried to get up, but her attempt failed as Anika held her hand and stuffed the morsel into her mouth. Shivi made faces and glared her mum. Anika smiled broadly reciprocating her looks. “Love you…” Anika said and kissed Shivi’s cheeks.

Shivay who is staring it from a distance smiled looking at this eternal bonding. He went close to them while all others too joined.

“Who’s kid is this?” He asked caressing Shivi’s back. This was another shock for everyone but they composed themselves and Pinky answered “your daughter” his eyes twinkled with joy. He immediately put her up and started swirling her. Shivi too hugged her Papa as tight as she could. Tears went down his eyes. Anika’s eyes too moisten looking at them.

“THANK YOU SO MUCH ANIKA FOR GIFTING ME MY PRINCESS” Shivay said aloud and showered infinite kisses on Shivi’s face. Shivi too kissed back on her Papa’s both cheeks.

“We also want that” Om said pouting.

“He he he…” Shivi laughed aloud and gestured OmRu to go close to her by her hand. They went close and got their gift from Shivi.

“Shivay put her down now..she will complete her food and then she will play with you” Anika said wiping her tears and preparing another morsel for Shivi.

Shivay soon put Shivi back on her chair and looked at Anika with confusing looks. “Who are you?” he asked. She was expecting this question from long and now he is asking. “I…I am here to look after Shivi” Anika answered looking down. Shivay nodded his head.

Pinky’s tears went down and she went in. OmRu followed her.

“Chotimaa…have faith in Anika bhabhi and us…we will make everything alright…we promise” Om said holding Pinky’s hand.

“Promise…” Rudra too held her hand. Pinky hugged them.

“Daadi…I will shift to the room at the left corner of the first floor” Shivay said eating his food.

“Why puttar?” Daadi asked.

“No reasons Daadi…I just want to” Shivay said looking at that girl. “Yeah sure” the girl answered.

Everyone finished eating and dispersed to their room.

“Tanya…” Anika called the girl who was going to upstairs.

“Yes Anika” Tanya responded.

“I am extremely sorry that Shivay is thinking you are Anika…and I don’t know what to say…but please do look after him…and if you want anything just call me…I will always be there to help you” Anika said.

“Don’t worry Anika…I will look after him…you go and sleep peacefully…I am feeling so sleepy.” Tanya answered and moved towards her room.

Anika went to her room and noticed Shivi sitting and playing with Ishana.

“Ishu…you?” Anika asked.

“Yeah…Anika di…today Shivi will sleep with me and Om” Ishana answered.

“Okay no problem” Anika said.

Ishana put up Shivi and went towards her room.

As soon they left Anika went to set her bed. Two arms wrapped her waist tightly. She too arched back to smell him. She missed this so much.

“I LOVE YOU” he said dropping a kiss over her shoulder. Tears went down her eyes which touched his cheek that he was rubbing to her.

“I MISSED YOU” she answered and soon turned towards him and hugged him.

“I MISSED YOU TOO..but now no cry” he said. She came out of the hug and stared at those two beautiful and calm blue orbs. She missed those so much…for so long…his twinkling eyes…the love in his eyes for her…his smell…his perfect pink lips…and his obsession for his hairs. She could not resist and pecked his cheeks holding his face.

“I want a kiss here too” he said pointing towards his lips. She looked down as blood rushed to her cheeks making them warm. “Don’t blush so much…I might not control” he said holding her waist more tight.

“Di…Anika di…” came Ishana’s voice from the door. Then when Anika realized he has closed the door. She looked at Shivay who was staring at her with sad looks. “Two minutes” Anika said with a smile and went to open the door while he went behind the curtains.

“Actually di… Shivi’s pillow…I forgot to take it” Ishana said. “Ohh yeah…” Anika said and went in to get the pillow. She came back soon and handed the pillow to Ishana. “Enjoy di” Ishana said and went away smiling. Anika smiled shyly and went in.

She was looking for him here and there when she felt a pull and landed on his chest. She held him tightly in response.

He stared at her…the same girl whom he love…who is his strength… the mother of his child. It had been long that he had felt her like that…he had got her so close to him. But now he was adamant to feel her…to bring back her touch to him.

“Shivay” she called him softly breaking his thought chain. “Please don’t go away from me ever…or else I would di..” but he didn’t allow her to complete as his lips touched hers creating magic inside them. Her hand traversed to his hairs clutching them tight and pulling him more into the kiss. They left each other but the break wasn’t for long as Anika rubbed her fingers over his lips and captured his lips.

He shifted towards her eyes those has reflected all the pain throughout but never allowed anyone to know it. She clutched his kurta while he went down and kissed her cheeks. “Shivay…” Her breath hitched as his fingers felt her warm yet wet lips. Her lips went into the hollow of his lips.

He turned her and again held her from back feeling her curves and her skin. His hand brushed over her collar bones while she arched back. His lips reached to her nape…he kissed over the lock of her mangalsutra and “Shivay” she moaned gulping down her saliva. He shifted her hair aside that gave the view of the bare parts of her back. He rubbed his nose while the kisses too followed. She could not take his sweet torture more and turned towards him and hugged him tightly. He captured her lips once again.

She did not realize when he has put her up and they reached the bed in between.

“Get ready Mrs. Oberoi…I am all set” Shivay said huskily making patterns over her tummy and kissing her jaw line.

“You get ready Mr. Oberoi…this night would be another best night of us” Anika said boldly whispering in his ears. He went down and kissed over her tummy while rubbing his legs over hers. She closed her eyes with pleasure.

“Thank You so much Anika for gifting me Shivi…thank you” he said.

She landed a kiss over his chest and said “thank you Shivay for holding me here… every time…my best place to reside.” He smiled admiring her words.

Their session continued as they made love. “I love you” she said. “I love you too” he said dropping a kiss over her nose while she cupped her face.

“What about getting a baby prince now?” He said pulling her more to him.

“Hmm…nice idea…but this time you will hold the baby inside your tummy” Anika answered making circles with her palm over his tummy.

“Yeahhhh…” He initially said but soon corrected realizing what she meant “what??…I mean you are crazy..but I missed this crazy girl of me for so long” he looked into her eyes.

“Now listen…you will take care of Shivi…I can’t afford her nakhre Noor jahan ke anymore” Anika made faces.

“Okay…but at first you promise me…I am getting a prince soon” Shivay teased her.

“Not so soon…” She said hiding her face in his chest while he wrapped her.

The deep peaceful slumber took over them.

And shivaay takes out a innocent soul from his back ,,yes he is a 3 year old boy who is extreme cute holding a teddy bear tightly and scared from Anika ,,first  a smile appears on Anika face to see a such a innocent face and absent mindly she said shivaay he is very much resembles you agr ansh bada hoga to Aisa he lgega shivaay see her shockingly but her smile is vanished bcoz the little boy is a Xerox of his husband  , suddenly a layer of tears form in her eyes she can’t speak a little word

S- before 4 years ,you know which type of shivaay Singh oberoi iam Naam khoon Khandan business only these things are matter to me I met a business woman named Arpita she is similar like me she obsessed with me and we need a great profit that time and Arpita invest a huge amount in oberoi industry all papers are ready everything is ready but she puts a condition infront of me that is spend one night with her for the deal and accept her condition and we are land on her farmhouse that night I drank too much for fun and remaining night is blur infront of me when I woke up in morning I found myself nude and she is on me ,she done the deal and once again oberois r on the top ,after sometime she had great loss she is bankrupt nd loose her everything and she got pregnant with my child she informed me about this I told her that this baby is our mistake and abort her but she doesn’t do this phir koi nhi Janta wo kha gyi subah mujhe ek unknown number se call aaya they told me that she is in hospital I reach there and saw she is in last stage of cancer and she holds me Aryans hand and said iska iss duniya me tumhare alava koi nhi h pls promise me you have to take care of our child promise me and I promise her that I will take care of our child

She taught ansh is also a illegitimate child but now he has a name of shivaay and she always believed that maa baap ki galti ki Saja bacho Ko nhi milni chàhiye and she also accept that fact that the old SSO is heartless rude but now he is totally different and sometime God has his own plan for us she decided to accept Aryan full heartly but somewhere she doesn’t know that why she is upset not because of Aryan somewhere she doesn’t want to face shivaay she doesn’t want that she comes in between shivaay and Aryan finally she decided that she accepts Aryan but she and ansh never comes in between shivaay and Aryan she thinks it’s unfair with Aryan bcoz he is unaware about the father love since last 3 years and ansh now has a name but he is not and he also wants to enjoy with his father ( she just convenes herself she is prepared for Aryan but now she doesn’t want that shivaay Even touch her nd ansh she doesn’t know the answer but she doesn’t want)

Finally after 2 hrs. She came outside shivaay still standing infront of door with teary eyes

S- Anika what’s your answer

A- shivaay now Aryan is the part of our family suddenly a small smile appears on shivaay face

She doesn’t see this so she stopped shivaay and move her hand to stop him but in first time in her life she doesn’want to touch shivaay she feels extreme hesitation to touch shivaay to hold his hands she drops her hand and told her that he take rest and she leaves from there but shivaay stopped her and asked

S- Anika kya tumne mujhe maaf kr diya

A- she looks at him and and with a lots of control with a fake smile she responds as a hmmm

Shivaay happy but he noticed the awkward Ness in their between but he ignores nd happy for her forgiveness

Ansh and Aryan both are sleeping on bed peacefully Anika comes with holding a jug of water and takes ansh from the shivaay’s side of the bed

S- Anika what r u doing

A- wo actually I feed hiM

S- ok wait I’ll come

A- no( she shouts suddenly)

Shivaay legs r stick on floor

S- what happen

A- mera mtlb h Aryan is sleeping here u stay here I’ll come in sometime

S- but u know na he doesn’t feed when I am not near him

A-ab usse Aadat daalni pdegi ( inaudible)

S- u said anything

A- no nothing u stay here I’ll come

S- but what’s need to go outside I mean u feed him

A- leave all this I’ll Manage u r very tired take rest

But she leaves the room , shivaay feels strange but he THINK that he overthinking about this he lay beside Aryan nd waiting for Anika

Anika feeds ansh and he feeds easily without shivaay this is called a mother baby connection she cries a lottt holding ansh and fall asleep on couch

Hi This is VHM back with a new FF on IB couple SHIVIKA….A slow yet Subtle love story……..

This is completely off track FF on Shivika and a college life and post college life of Shivika based FF…nothing to do with the track of IB….May be few of you can relate to this….you all know the characters and few characters will behave the same way as in real IB…few will be different……The Beginning would be slow and may bore you, but as i always say these beginning episodes will be crucial to form the further story……..

Please ignore the grammatical and spelling mistakes…….Hope the readers would support me the same way as they have supported me till date……based upon the response on this episode, i will be uploading the next episode……

Before Anika could speak anything…Shivaay spoke to Anika

Shivaay ”Hello…this is Shivaay Singh Oberoi….Sunil said me everything…but please listen to me once…he is a gem of person…if he has hidden something from you, i am sure there must be some reason behind it…please don’t punish him like this…please talk to him ….because i know how it feels when someone who is so close walks away without looking back…it hurts so much that, we will not be in a position to either live or die….i know i am none to say you all this, but Sunil has been with me almost for two months now and i am much attached to him….please treat it as my request and talk to him…please”

Shivaay requested Anika to forgive Sahil (Sunil) without his knowledge that Anika was on other side…….

Anika controlled her tears and with choked voice spoke ”Please give the mobile to him”

The voice registered in Shivaay’s ears. and he immediately recognised it to be his Ms.Surpanaka’s voice..he mechanically gave the mobile to Sahil and left from there………

Sahil ”Dii…i am sorry….i am really sorry…i didn’t want to do all this…but i wanted to return your happine…….”

Before Sahil could continue Anika spoke

Anika ”Sahil….do you trust me?”

Anika ”come here taking next flight…i don’t want you to stay there anymore ….already the damage is done….he has recognised my voice …and now he will not take a minute to reach me…”

Shivaay ”don’t worry about me….tell her that I will not trouble her and she doesn’t need to run anywhere else, thinking I might reach her….assure her that nothing of this sort will happen….i heard her voice , I am happy with that…”

Sahil ”how do you know what will she do?”

Shivaay ”because I know her very well” he took a pause walked towards him ”I know her more than myself….what she would say in which circumstances I can tell that without any second thoughts”

Sahil ran to him and hugged him tight

Sahil ”I am sorry jiju…I am really sorry….i never wanted all this to get to be known this way…I am sorry…I am really sorry”

Shivaay was into tears ….he hugged him tight and cried ……after letting their tears out, both composed themselves and

Shivaay ”go now and pack your luggage…I will send the tickets for today’s flight to you….leave”

Sahil ”I will leave …but before that I have found something for you….i will send you after I reach ”

He turned to go…came back and hugged him tight and spoke

Sahil ”I miss you jiju…and not only me Anika didi also misses you a lot…there was never a day when she hasn’t shed her tears for you…I just wish you both to be together”

Shivaay ”I miss you sahil and I miss her too” he spoke rubbing sahil’s back…”now go or you will get late”

Sahil left from there and reached his quarter, packed his bags and reached Airport….he was surprised to see the entire Oberoi Family waiting for him at the airport

OmRu came forward and hugged him….Sahil broke into tears …the condition of OmRu was same as Sahil….he left them and went to Pinky and Jhanvi…he bent to take blessings from all the elders…

Pinky ”OMM …you are Anika’s brother and you hid this from us…why’s?”

Sahil ”woh…Anika didi asked not to reveal my real identity to anyone”

Jhanvi ”but why? What wrong did we all do that she punished all of us?”

Sahil folded his hands and said ”You all know what happened , but what you never knew was…Anika didi could never digest the fact that Shivaay jiju got engaged to some other lady…so she started running away from all of you…but she never broke her promise given to Shivaay jiju, that she will be his shadow”

Everyone looked at him surprised

Tej ”what do you mean?”

Sahil ”uncle you will know it very soon, I will be sending something to shivaay jiju after I reach there and everything will be known to you….but please don’t misunderstand Anika didi….she is not bad…”

Dadi ”Sahil puttar…we know how she is …and there is no way we can misunderstand her…but we are hurt because she left and never turned back”

Sahil ”I came to make shivaay jiju meet with Anika didi….but I think I have lost in this …however I am happy that you now know atleast about my whereabouts…and I promise to stay in touch with you all….”

The announcement was made for the passengers to check in the luggage and proceed for security and boarding….

Prinku came to him and said ”Sahil…I always wanted to give this to Anika di…if you meet give this to her on our behalf…say that this has been preserved for her from past 10 + years”

Sahil ”sure Prinku di…I will…”

Sahil looked around and searched for Shivaay, but he was seen no where….

Rudra ”he can’t see you going, so he has not come…don’t search for him…”

Sahil ”take care of my Jiju ..Rudra bhayya….till I set things there…later Anika didi will handle him”

Om and Ru looked at each other first and then looked at Sahil…

Om ”what do you mean by Anika will handle him later?”

Sahil ”I will talk to Anika didi…and please don’t even try to stop me now from doing so…I have decided what needs to be done…and I am going to do it…I will not care even if she scolds me or slaps me…but she needs to know the truth and Shivaay jiju too should know the truth…”

Rudra ”Shivaay bhayya should know the truth? Which truth?”

Sahil ”I am gonna send you something after i reach Amsterdam….and you all will know what I am talking about”

Om ”we trust you Sahil….and we will be waiting for both of you to be back”

Sahil hugged them and left to complete formalities and boarded the flight……

Anika was left blank and couldn’t decide what she should do….she was in such a state of mind where she was not able to think properly…she threw away everything in anger , broke almost all the glass items…and screamed to the top of her voice…….

Anika TAM ”why am I doing all this…how many more days will I run hiding myself from him…what was my mistake that I am running away..instead I should have faced this situation…”

She took a pause …a series of question answer sessions ran in her brain

Anika closed her ears to stop the inner war happening within herself…….She slipped into sleep without her knowledge ,fighting with her own thoughts …..

The next morning …Sahil reached her home and buzzed the bell…Anika went and opened the door…she was surprised seeing Sahil

Sahil ”Can I come in to your house ?”

Anika ”have you gone mad? Why are you asking? Just get in? and by the way why are you saying this as my house..it’s your house too”

She moved aside giving way for Sahil to step in

Sahil didn’t answer her and went inside……Anika looked at him confused

Sahil got freshened up and didn’t speak a word, while Anika waited for him to speak something…..Sahil was silent, Anika gave up on her patience

Anika ”Sahil why are you silent? Why are you not saying anything?”

Sahil ”what should I say? I have nothing to say?”

Anika ”you are acting different? And ..and”

Sahil ”and you are thinking why am I here in your house, when you asked me to go to my hostel?”

Anika ”no..i mean…woh”

Sahil ”don’t worry Anika didi…I am leaving you…and I am leaving you forever this time…I was trying to gather courage to say this…so I was silent all this while..”

Anika was shocked more than surprised

Anika ”have you lost it? What rubbish are you speaking? What do you mean by you will leave me forever? And why the hell are you going on saying this is my house …don’t you understand or don’t you know that this is your house too” she screamed on top of her voice

Sahil ”no…this is not my house …did you get it now…this is not my house..i am just a responsibility of you and your responsibility ended today…that’s why I am saying I am leaving you forever…”he screamed equally high

Anika ”Sahil…what happened? Why are you saying so? What wrong did I do ? ”

Sahil ”you did everything wrong…you were wrong ..always wrong….” He broke down after screaming once again

Anika ”I can’t believe you are saying this….i am wrong…you said I am wrong..what do you mean Sahil…”

Sahil didn’t reply

Anika ”I asked you something …just answer me…are you listening …just answer me” she was at the top of her voice

Sahil ”what do you want to listen…tell me…what do you want to listen…did you listen that day what Shivaay jiju wanted to explain…did you listen to your heart…did you listen to me to let me know why you were running away from everything…did you listen to your friends….tell me did you listen anytime ?”

Anika ”ohh , now I understand why you are speaking so….you met him and he ”

Sahil ”don’t blame him….you don’t know anything…so I beg you…don’t blame him”

Anika ”he has become so important for you, that today you are speaking to me in this tone because of him?”

Sahil ”I knew you would say this…that’s why I said , you don’t listen to anyone….but I beg you, for once listen to me…”

Anika ”if it’s about him I don’t want to listen anything…because it ended that day when he left…”

Sahil ” Shivaay jiju is still at the same place where you left him…if only you can understood what I mean”

Anika was shocked with Sahil’s statement…she stood still as a stone, there was no tears, no words and nothing seen in her face…as if her world stopped at that point….

Sahil came and handed over the thing that Prinku gave her….Anika just took it and looked at Sahil

Sahil ”you never understood, how important you were to that family….they still remember you, miss you and above all love you…forget about Shivaay jiju, what wrong did the rest of the members do…for no one’s mistake you punished everyone…now tell me were you right? Didi it’s fine if you don’t trust anyone else…you could have trusted yourself….you could have trusted that relation that existed between you and Shivaay jiju…there was no reason but you both suffered a separation for 10+ long years…you never gave a chance to yourself, forget about giving chance to Shivaay jiju….i know the entire truth, but i don’t want to tell you now….the truth which you never wanted to face, you should know from Shivaay jiju….he is suffering didi…go to him…he has put up a strong face like you before his family members , but he is broken into pieces from inside…and everyone knows it’s only you who can heal him…if not for your relation, at least do this for the love and affection you got from Oberoi family…you owe them dii…you owe them this….i said what i had to say…now i am leaving the decision to you”

Anika didn’t speak a word , she just stood in the same position, not knowing what to do once again…she has reached at such point where she cannot go forward or step backward…Sahil didn’t speak a word and left from there walking in the snow, in a hope that Anika would make a wise decision……….

Shivaay was tensed thinking about what might be happening between Anika and Sahil…he was sure Anika would handle but there was a thought that Anika might run away from Sahil too….unable to do anything he dialled Sahil’s number

Sahil received Shivaay’s call

Sahil ”jiju” his voice choked

Shivaay ”Sahil…is she fine?”

Sahil ”i don’t know”

Shivaay ”what do you mean by you don’t know…what happened?”

Sahil explained what he did, Shivaay was unable to say anything

Sahil ”jiju..this was necessary and so i did”

Shivaay ”what was the need Sahil…we had our lives at different edges , but our lives were running…i just hope she is fine…”

Sahil ”but”

Shivaay ”go and check her Sahil…if something happens to her, then i might not live my life again”

Sahil ”please don’t say so”

Shivaay ”i can understand you intention, but ”

They both remained silent……

Sahil ”i am going to see her jiju…don’t worry”

Shivaay ”just update me”

They both went to her…Pinky called the photographer and said

Pinky ”aree …why are you staring at me, take a good photo’s of these…it must be the most beautiful photo’s understand’s”

Shivaay ”mom…why now…I mean…what’s the need”

Pinky ”you keep quiet…I want this to happen…will you say NO to me?”

Shivaay ”but”

Pinky ”no but…I don’t wants to listen’s anything…Anika do you have any problem in getting clicked with my heera beta”

Anika smiled

Pinky ”see…when she has no problem…what’s the problem’s for you?”

Shivaay ”okay fine..if you both don’t have any problem I will be getting the photo clicked”

Shivaay held Anika’s hand and they were giving many poses …but the pic that was the most beautiful was when they both held the hands entwining the fingers ,  facing each other and were absorbed in each other’s eyes, forgetting the surroundings…the pic was clicked in Retro (black and white) mode ”

Anika later looked at that pic and said ”I can stare at this pic for my entire life Mr.Ritchie Rich”

Shivaay ”then I would give this photo as a gift on our special day”

Anika ”special day that too of us…and when is that”

Shivaay ”you will know very soon Ms.Surpanaka”

Anika ”okay…then you mean I must wait”

Shivaay ”exactly…you are no doubt intelligent”

Anika ”naah..not intelli”GENT” it’s Intelli”WOMEN” ”

Shivaay ”ohh God…you are impossible”

Anika ”that tho I am”

They both smiled

Anika held the photo frame with that pic and stared at it continuously remembering the moments …Sahil came and saw her looking at the photo…

Sahil ”Anika didi…are you okay”

Anika came out of the trance and looked at him

Sahil ”I am sorry didi…I have hurt you so much with my words…but i didn’t know what else to do”

Anika ”Sahil…I never left him…I never left”

Sahil ”I know your truth didi…I found it in past one week”

Anika looked at him shocked

Sahil ”when Shivaay jiju said the truth of the happening 10+years before, I was into thoughts…I knew one thing, you keep promise even if the condition is broken by the other…this made me check everything and connect the dots…I found out the truth, what you did for them…”

Anika ”did you reveal them the truth”

Sahil ”not yet, but I promised to tell them once I am here and they might be waiting”

Anika ”please don’t reveal…please”

Sahil ”but why?”

Anika ”I owe them all that and I never want them to know this”

Sahil ”fine I will not tell Shivaay jiju about this…but I will have to reveal it to Om bhayya and Rudra bhayya…but don’t worry , I will ask them not to let Shivaay jiju know this…they will not deny me”

Anika ” I know them more than you”

Sahil ”then what have you decided Didi”

Anika looked at him , wiped her tears but with choked voice said

Anika ”I want to talk to him…for once, i want to give a chance to myself and listen to him…I want to hear him…I just want to hear him once …”

Sahil ”what are you waiting for didi..do it right away”

Anika ”but…will he speak to me”

Sahil ”I always got angry when Shivaay jiju called you mad, but now I think he is right…you are really mad”

Sahil hugged Anika and said ”he too wants to hear you didi…just call him…and yaa…I am gonna call Om bhayya and Rudra bhayya and let them know your truth…meanwhile you talk to Shivaay jiju…I am going out…”

Anika smiled hugged him and said ”you have really grown big Sahil…i thought you were still small”

Sahil smiled and said ”I love you didi..and I am sorry for my behaviour earlier today and now bye”

Sahil left and Anika picked up the mobile and dialled Shivaay’s number

Veer executes his plan of turning Anika mad, just in Shivaye’s sight. He aims to turn Shivaye against his mad wife. Anika gets tortured by a scary woman. Anika fails to prove herself in front of Shivaye. Nevertheless, Shivaye figures out the real cause of trouble. He understands someone is trying to prove Anika insane. Gauri’s mother along with Richa’s mother comes to kitchen and informs Gauri that Mukesh’s mother has called and said that after one hour Ajay,Mukesh and she is coming to fix the marriage date and they want both the marriage to happen same day.
Hearing this Gauri gets worried and thinks that whatever she has to do she will have to do that fast before it’s too late.
After sometimes Om comes and sees that all ladies are having a worried expression in their face so he politely asks them the reason.
But Gauri changed the topic and said him to have his breakfast. Om understands there is surely something related to Richa’s marriage.
Om is not already liking the way Mukesh’s family is demanding things,they are actually asking dowry indirectly. He thought Gauri will deny these demands but maybe because of Richa’s help during Gauri’s mother’s sickness time and her pregnancy reason Gauri doesn’t want this marriage to break any way.
The moment Om had heard how Richa was saying that her love Mukesh didn’t take a stand for her, he had made his mind that he will help her in getting the value she deserves in Mukesh’s life.He doesn’t want the way he has treated Gauri same thing Richa also to suffer.
He remembers how Gauri hasn’t just help him but also has helped his whole family members whenever they needed…..sometimes being Chulbul,sometimes being daughter-in-law,sister, sister-in-law….she has always tried to help everyone.
Now it’s his time to help the people who are related to her.He also feels thankful toward Richa as she has took care of his mother-in-law who is a mother to him and also because the way she cares for Gauri which he has seen this morning….

Shivay…. Malika he likes me.. I m so happy…. Anika burst out of happiness looking at Malika and was smiling while telling her all the things….. Malika was looking at her happiness and was feeling like killed from inside….. Tears made their way from her eyes and she couldn’t control herself, she just hugged anika and started crying….
Anika : hey why r you crying?? Ohhh I understood…. She wiped off her tears… I know now my best friend will say yeh toh khushi ke aasun hai ani….

But don’t say that OK because I have to say alot to you so rona dhona baad main…. Malika… Malika ( she twirled Malika in happiness)….. I never felt this before, you were right!! Actually you were right since the beginning…. Shivay is the one!! He saved me from that Veer and after that I can’t tell you so many things happened…. It was like dream for me….
Malika : ani listen!! I have to tell you something very important…. It’s related to you!! She speaks while sobbing..
Anika: hmm… I know you want to tell me about mom right….. I know Malika she is angry on me and shivay didn’t tell me about this…. listen I will go to her and will apologize but this time first I will confess everything to shivay!! I really can’t wait now…. It took me many years this take this decision..now I won’t waste time and will just become his forever….. Her each word was showering her love for shivay….
Malika was trying again and again to tell her something but she wasn’t ready to listen and was just speaking out all excitement and emotions…. When suddenly anika stopped speaking…. Malika looked on shocked.
Malika: anika….
Anika’s nose started bleeding, she touched it and found blood on her hand…. She got shocked…., ” yeh….” anika looked at th blood.
Malika : anika…. Yeh khoon….

Please ab Kuch bolna warna, Chalo mere saath!! Jaldiiii….
Anika: par Malika kaha? Aur yeh khoon… She was shocked to the core…
Malika: I told you na just come with me! On the way Anika’s vision got blurred and she took malika’s support….
Anika : yeh Kya ho raha hai malika and she fainted.
In hospital.
Doctor : she is critical…. I am sorry but now I think you better tell her!!
Malika : Doctor is there no way?? I mean koi toh tareeka hoga..Kuch toh ho sakta hoga na. She said in a pleading tone while shedding tears.
Doctor : I m really sorry but if we got to know about her problem earlier then we could have done something but now it’s…. He showed a Helpless expressions to her.
Malika almost stumbled and sat down on floor….
Malika : why?? How can this happen? She was perfectly fine!! Everything was just perfect…. I wish I could take her all this on me… She cries.
Nurse: doctor she is gaining consciousness!
Malika ran into her room. Anika was lying on the bed.
Malika : ani…. She sobbed while taking her name.
Anika : Kya Hua Hai mujhe?? Tears escaped from her eyes…. Malika ran and hugged her…. She was continuously crying holding anika…. She understood that something was really wrong with her, she just closed her eyes tightly and remembered all moments she lived recently and gave a faded smile.
Anika: Hmm… I had already doubt on my destiny that how come I got so many happiness…. Tears fell down from her eyes….malika raised her head and looked at her shocked…..

She continued…. Actually I was right it was all just a dream Malika…. Just a dream and see now how God got me back from my dreams…. Her lips folded and tears spilled like River….
Malika : don’t say that ani!! Dare you to say that again….. I won’t let anything happen to you…. You will be fine soon…. She spoke and cried hugging anika…
Anika: Acha at least tell me mujhe Hua Kya Hai? Do I have some time or not?? Or should I say Byee to you just now…she tried to taunt herself….
Malika: Maine kaha na tumhe Kuch nhi hoga..Aur doctors hai toh aisi baatein karne ki koi zaroorat nhi hai… You will be absolutely fine…. Absolutely fine….By the time they both had flood of tears in their eyes…
Doctor came….
Anika : Doctor she is not ready to tell me? Can you tell me what has happened to me?? She saw the doctor and asked. Malika got up and was crying covering her face with her plams….
Doctor : I m sorry but you are on the last stage of motor neuron disease, you were suffering from a long time but didn’t got to know because of the silent symptoms like having severe headaches… Anxiety and all…
Anika: then how come you know that I m suffering from this disease??
Malika : anika it’s because of shivay!! When you had got sprain, he was quite worried for you so he had asked the doctors to get each and every test to done of yours and yesterday I found some reports which didn’t reach us….

I had to come to tell you all this but couldn’t get the courage… She spoke while sobbing
Doctor : see we r trying our best but the thing is her situation is not in our control as her nerves have swelled up due to which there could be a major internal injury anytime….. She has to extremely take care of herself by not putting any pressure on her brain otherwise….
Malika gets shocked listening to what he said…
Malika: how can you say this? And what do you mean by otherwise Haan?? I m saying na that nothing will happen to her….Kuch bhi bol rahe hai aap…. She gets hyper and starts shouting on doctor….
Anika tries to get up…
Anika: Malika…. And again Her nose started oozing blood due to stress of listening all this and she lied down unconscious…. Doctors run to check. Malika got scared….
Malika: ani…. Ani… Aankhen Kholo…. Dekho tumhe Kuch nhi hoga… Doctor please do something…. See she is not responding anything…. Ani please say something…
Doctors check anika and nurse wipes off the blood flowing from her nose…. Her situation got worse…
Doctor : I told you she shouldn’t take any kind of tension….

It’s not good for her, we are trying our best but it’s you who need to support her…. So please calm down and wait outside…. Doctor tries to understand malika…. She got very scared looking at Anika’s condition and moved backwards.
In oberoi mansion
Shivay had arranged each special thing to make his proposal beyond anybody’s expectations, his happiness and excitement had no limits. Everything was just perfect like shivika. He takes out his phone and looks at Anika’s pic.
Shivay : I will make this day the most happening and memorable day of our life anika!! We will be the best couple who will always stay beside each other in every situation and you know why?? Because we will always be friends to each other, all this decorations are just a beautiful start for our story… Hmm… actually…. It’s going to be a beautiful turning point of our lovestory…. I wish you come back soon and everything gets its right place like my heart settles down with yours…. My breathe gets your scent ….your dreams mine and most important this shivay fully yours!! He smiles…. Now just come back soon I won’t be able to wait anymore…. He went and lighted up the candles….
In hospital
Doctor: I am again and again telling you whenever she will take stress, it will add on worst to her health…. Please try to console her…. Further we can’t say anything… If her condition remained stable then it’s fine for sometime but if anything took place which caused her tension then I am sorry to say that but we could lose her anytime…. She needs a lot of care and rest.

Malika : this means she will be alright soon right?? She spoke and was waiting for a positive response from him but he just looked down… Tears fell from her eyes.
Doctor : see we just can try and I don’t want to give you any false hopes! He concluded.
Malika stood like statue, his words were echoing in her ears. She herself had lost hopes after seeing anika in such condition, how will she console her… Her phone rang and she picked up the call.
Shivay : hello malika!! Where are you both?? I have been wanting since three hours…. Please get anika back soon. Tears fell from her eyes and she didn’t speak a word. Please malika!! Get her back soon it’s almost night….. Hello malika…. Atleast say something…. Okkk
Okkk do one thing just tell me where are you both, I m coming to pick u up…. Hello malika…. Arre bolo bhi Kuch…. Hello! Are you listening….
The phone fell down from her hand.
Here Shivay’s desperation was not letting him sit for a while…. He was roaming here and there, it had been four hours and anika had no clue, now even malika wasn’t picking up his call and Anika’s phone was switched off. In hospital malika was sitting near anika.
Malika: anika…listening to malika’s voice anika slowly opens her eyes. Ani…. Woh… Sh… Shiv… ayy….

He is waiting for you!! She said.Ani, I think we should call him here… We have to tell him about your condition….
Anika: I want to meet him!! She said in a cracking voice….
Malika : but we can’t do this! Doctors will not permit you to get discharge…. Let me call shivay…. He will himself come here…
Anika: no Malika!! I don’t want him to come here… This is not the right place…. I will go to him…. She decided herself and did not listen anything from Malika.
Malika agreed looking at her paled face and got her discharged for some time just to meet shivay. The clock stuck 12’o clock, shivay was still waiting, he was more worried for her and decided to go in search of her but just then he saw anika coming to him. His face got a calm expression after seeing her fine, she got watery layers looking at the the ambiance shivay had done for her….

Everything was beautiful but the situation was very rude to her, she tried to hide her tears just then shivay ran and hugged her tightly.

Shivay : you had scared me anika!! He just closed his eyes in satisfaction after getting her back to him. She came out of the hug but before she could say something he dragged her in Centre of the hall.
Shivay : see anika you made all the things wait!! Okk that’s fine but now it’s too late so I just want to tell you something really important….. He spoke with great excitement and happiness. Anika looked into his eyes and forgot what she had to tell him and went with flow…. He took out a ring and sat down on his knees….
Shivay : whatever I am going to say now, the same words I have said manier times to you…. He took a pause and smiled but to my bad luck, everytime it was just a dream….. He smiled.
Anika: shivayyy…. I need to tell you something…..

Shivaay snapped his eyes open and sat up straight, panting. Another nightmare. It was almost a daily routine. Everyday he would wake up after a nightmare but this time it was more terrifying. It left an uncertain feeling in his heart.

They both were in a dark room, she was there. He saw her right in front of his eyes. He ran and ran but he couldn’t reach her. She was drifting away and slowly he saw her collapse on the floor.

He leapt to his feet and poured himself water. Gulping it down, he stared out of the window, thinking about his wife, Anika. The moon was beaming, she loved moon. Everything reminded him of Anika.

She was strong and Shivaay knew that but didn’t know if he was strong enough to bear it.

He missed her. Every part of him missed her.

She was in his every thought, his mind, his heart- every rational thought.

The more he thought about her, the more he missed her. The air felt toxic without her being around. It seemed as slowly and slowly everything was falling apart. He felt as if nothing was right. Everything felt wrong.

They were happy as anyone could be. Everything was perfect. Their lives were filled with laughter. Her laughter.

“Anika, get back here” he called out to her, chasing after his wife, who was in a playful mood today. He stopped and panted, sucking in the air.

She chuckled and stuck out her tongue at him, “Catch me if you can” she ran across the room, clutching his cell phone in her hand.

He scowled at her, obviously annoyed. He sure loved that she behaved like a kid but of all the days, today? He had an important meeting.

“Oh Anika” he chased after her.

Anika was about to trip but Shivaay caught her wrist and spun her around. She crashed on his chest, her grin dropping. She groaned in annoyance as he wrapped his arms around her waist, one of his hands slipped under the fabric of her shirt.

He smirked at his wife, who just scowled in return. She sure as hell didn’t like losing and that too to him, after all he used to be the ‘insufferable cocky jerk’. Okay, yes, he was still cocky but he wasn’t a jerk anymore.

“So what were you saying earlier? You sure didn’t bet on the right thing, munchkin” he said, stifling a laugh. His voice hoarse. He tucked the lock behind her ear that kept falling over her eye.

She squirmed under his hold and muttering that sounded highly like ‘damn’

His wife didn’t curse often. She wasn’t the cuss type. But when she did, it meant you were getting on her nerve.

“So now do I get the kiss? ” he whispered in her ear, thoroughly enjoying being in control.

“Keep dreaming Mr. Oberoi” she managed to say but it came out weaker than she intended.

“Of you? Always Mrs. Oberoi” he smirked while Anika just narrowed his eyes at him. She wondered how she even for a guy like him? But then again, this was man was a hot as hell, his perfectly carved jaw, piercing blue eyes and his oh-so-handsome body. He was charming and had a way with girls and voila, she ended up falling for what she uses to call ‘a insufferable cocky jerk ‘.

He continued to stare at her, admiring her chocolate brown eyes, pink tinted cheeks.

Anika realized that he wasn’t paying attention, her lips lifted into a smirk that’s mirrored Shivaay’s. She quickly pecked his cheeks and Shivaay obviously taken aback, flustered. Anika took this as a opportunity to run away.

“You aren’t having that kiss, Mr. SSO.” she smirked at him, loving the feeling of being in control again. “At least not yet”

He watched her retreating figure, wondering how she could up him everytime?

The memory made Shivaay’s lips lift up in a smile and he found himself smiling fondly once again.

He sighed and sat down on the bed, rubbing his eyes in a tired fashion. His eyes darted to the picture on the bedside lamp.

She was petting a stray puppy, a smile tugging at her lips. Her one smile enough to make him fluster. It was absolutely a sight for the sore eyes.

It had been a year back when he clicked this picture. He liked to capture every moment. Every memory stored in his heart and his camera.

He picked it up carefully, tracing her figure in the photograph. She looked radiating as ever. There was something about her aura that calmed him. Whenever she was around, he would feel calm. She could calm his demons like no other could. Not even his family.

His attention snapped from her when he felt something under his fingers. He looked carefully at it and saw that it was a piece of paper. Curious, he pulled the paper from the corner of the photo frame and unfolded it.

She was a angel, your wife, Anika, trapped between the demons. She was strong and I know it now.

I just hope you’ll be strong enough for her too.

So here I present to you the first chapter of this story.  Someone previously asked me as to what is the age that qualifies for the reader since the story contains dark themes. I think age of 13 and above are okay. This story is just based on a dark plot but the story revolves around emotions. It’s basically a rollercoaster ride for both Shivaay and Anika as they face the odds of life. In this whole story, the main concept what I just described. The only dark theme that the story contains is what happened in the past six months of Anika’s life.

As a reader I had read these kind of stories when I was even 11 or 12 but it is totally up to you if you wish to read it or not.

Gosh, that was some long author’s note. Geez, I’m glad I explained it.

Anika ” Shivavy kya kar rahy hai ap choriye humaye Anika tries to rub her hand back on eyes but Shivavy hold her  arm as he knows that her love-lady hands are bandaged

Shivavy ” kyun michmichi ho rahi hai. Aur do minutes chup nahe kar sakhti. 

Shivavy again take water in hand and where ever his warm touch,  touches her cold face her breath rises

Shivavy ” now slowly open ur eyes Anika 

 Anika slowly, slowly open her eyes whole got red, water droplets falling down from her eyelash and get fixes on her pinky glossy lips.

Shivavy brushing  Anika face” blowing her eyes which where making Anika fall weak as Shivavy warm breath were falling on Anika face.

Both get lost in blue and brown obrs 

O jaana played 

Shivavy ” fingers crawling all over her face and soon Shivavy fingers  touches Anika wet lips which made Shivavy mind to go crazy.

Anika” whole body trembles she comes back to earth. She quickly moves her face. 

“What u r doing? Anika still breathing heavily.

” Shivavy takes Anika in arms gently  place her on bed.

Anika called Gayu and Rudy to her den ,ask them to wear cockroaches costumes and made plan against Shallu to throw her out of RM as Anika was the one who was keeping eye on Shallu

Gauri “Is it? Wow.. but I didn’t get any parcel…no prob..I’ll ask Amma..ok then bye…” she was about to cut but Om stopped her..

Om “umm…G..Gauri..one sec..voh actually, I want to say something very important to you..voh gauri, I..umm..I..I want to say that..” Om was stammering much..gauri understood what he was trying to say..

Gauri “umm..Om, we can talk later ok..think you need more time to prepare yourself…ok..bye..” gauri said in one go and cut the call…

Om “huh? What was that? Wait, did she understand what I was going to say? Then why did she say I need more time? But it’s right..I do need time to prepare myself…Om, agar thu aisa bak-bak karega then everything will be finished.. I’ll talk to her later..”

Gauri was searching the parcel everywhere…now there was Raja’s room left..she entered there and found the parcel..she opened it and saw my pics along with a pen drive..she put the pendrive aside and took the pics..there was everyone’s photo..she was one photo of Shivaay..

“huh? Bade bhayya ka pic kyu bheja hai Om ne? I’m seeing him daily..OOOOH…may be for Akka..”

She giggledcutrly…suddenly a photo caught her attention…she gazed carefully, there was dadi’s and rudy hugging along with a cute pout but there was Om standing with his phone on hand..gauri gazed more and got to know that it was she herself…

“what, Om is looking my photo?

She took the next pic and saw Om with his phone near to heart..gauri was blushing to this…

“Om is hugging me? I knew it..I knew it Om that there something between us more than a friendship…but, we can’t move with this before Akka and bade bhayya…let their matter get solved first then only ours….”.She smiled thinking of Om…she heard Raja’s and Raghav’s voice so she, being quick, picked all the photos and pen drive but she left Shivaay’s photo..

Raja and Raghav entered but soon left the room as they had an urgent work to complete..

******Anika’s room******

Anika was arranging her books and dresses, suddenly she heard Shivaay screaming…she skip overed from balcony and saw Shivaay lying on the field all hurt…Anika got scared and ran to him the next moment…

—There—

Raju and Ramu was helping Shivaay to get up…Anika came running and kneeled down..

“Shivaay… Shivaay..Shivaay kya hua?” she asked holding his shoulder to get up..

Raju “Akka, this all happened bcoz of bhayya only..I had told him not to go near Meenu but still he chose Meenu for eddying milk…and see she kicked him all BANG!! ! ! ”he said complaining…

“kya? You were edding milk? But why? If you need milk then could have said to me..I would have helped you na? and…and you chose Meenu for that? Shivaay she is so persistent..” Anika made Shivaay stand up..

“Arrey, I agree that Raju had told me not to go near Meenu…but didn’t I know that Meenu is a cow..Are you all insane? First Vikram..and now Meenu..is there any Kamala, Veerappan, anything else like that? If there is then change their name first then scold me…” Shivaay showed his index finger to Raju as a warning..

Ramu “it’s ok..let it be..Shivaay, I’ll say Rejini to make salve for you..Ramu signaled Raju to do the same..

Raju “haa…haa…bhayya, I’ll boil water for you..Raju too followed Ramu leaving Shivika there…Shivaay’s hand and arms were hurt and cheeks were showing red colour..Anika looked him and a thin layer of tear formed unknown to her….Shivaay saw this a feeling of discomposure spread all his face…

“Anika, I’m ok..just a few wounds…it’ll dehydrate soon..relax..” Shivaay relaxed her..

“Shivaay, this is all happening bcoz of me…why..why did you come here? Shivaay abhi bhi vakth hai…just go..leave from here Shivaay..please.. I can’t see you like this…you don’t have to….”

“Shhhsshh…Anika, I’ve already told you…what I’m doing is all from my heart…and I am really enjoying these..”

“Shivaay..you..you’re a business man.. such a business man whom the whole world salutes…but you are here to…”

“to take my wife back..” completed Shivaay…”leave all those first teach me milk eddying…even I want to learn..” he said rubbing his both palm as a preparation..Anika smiled and took the bucket and taught him how to eddy milk..Shivaay wasn’t paying attention to Anika..how could he, when such a beautiful creation is in front of him, how could he look something else??

Anika looked him confused

“Shivaay, are you here? “

“No…” came the reply…

“huh? “ Anika was querying more..

“ubb..Nothing I was just looking…Anika, can I ask you something??  Anika nodded positive… “don’t you have any type of feeling for me?” Anika gazed him helplessly…

Anika “Shivaay, I’ve already told you…what I’m doing is all behind a reason…”

Shivaay “ And what is that Anika?…he pulled her by her wrist…aisa kya hai jiske wajah se thumhe mujhse dhoor jana pad raha hai? Say it for once Anika..”

Anika looked him deeply and left as she didn’t had any answer…Shivaay looked her path..

Shivaay “I’ve have toknow what’s bothering her…after my arrival, Anika has got changed…and..and…and don’t know, some problems are here…Raja uncle along with sithappa, leave from here early morning, and when I asked Ramu kakka, he tried to make me ignore it.. Gayathri aunty doesn’t know anything relating to Anika..and..why Sahil is learning through boarding School ? city is not that much far…and why Raja uncle is not allowing Anika to be a doctor? Anika has all the abilities for that goal..then why he’s not allowing?…few things aren’t good… I’ve to find out…”

His thought was disturbed by Raju..

Raju “bhayya, what are you doing here? Come I’ve to show you something..it’s really special one..come na..” he pulled Shivaay while saying..

“Raju..Shivu..don’t go far..night isn’t far..got it? “ Screamed Rejini from field..Shivju assured while running and got vanished..

********Raja’s room*******

Raja entered along with Gayathri…Raja sat on the bed with a thud..Gayathri opened all the windows to make the circumstance a lite one… Raja took his phone and sent few messages to Rohit and to few of his men..Gayathri sat next to a tensed Raja..she held him by his shoulder…she noticed wet eyes of Raja…she held his hand firmly for which Raja hugged her ever tightly…gayathri patting his back trying to console him but wasn’t gaining success…

Raja “ I lost Gayathri…I lost everything…I don’t think I can win this time..as I lost Radhu, I think I’ll lose Anu, the same way…yennala mudiyadhu…(I can’t do it)..”

Gayathri “No Raja, you can’t loose hope..still, you have a week…you can try..”

Raja “What’ll I do? what to try now?”

Just then Raghav entered the room closing the door hardly…he went near Raja and kneeled down to show few of the documents he had…

Raghav “Anne, look these papers, these ostensibly will have a loophole…check it out..” he showed the documents to him..

Raja “No Raghav, these don’t have a loophole..I’ve checked these a million times…we don’t have any other option..

—Meanwhile—

Anika came to hall where so many flowers and basins were kept along with dresses…she moved forward and got the sight of Gauri trying hard to cut a thread by teeth..Anika smiled seeing her antics…she, folding her hands moved forward..

Anika , clearing her throat “if you ask help, your height won’t go down…” gauri glared her Akka and continued her work..Anika understood that she was avoiding her…she sat beside gauri stubbornly…

Anika “ what happened to you? Mooh aise kyu rakha hai thune?” she asked shaking her..gauri looked her and kept doing her work..

Gauri “ jab pathi aayi, tho chotti behen bhahar tho hoga hii..” she complained..Anika got the reason..she moved close to her and cuddled on to her cutely..

Anika “awwww….my sweet little sis.. this was your prob..? c’mon yaar, unakku thariyum elle…  ( you know na that…)

“stop stop.. now don’t start again..I was just kidding..waise bhi, mera jiju ithna handsome jo hai, every girl will go behind him..” gauri started her business..

Anika “Oh please…stop it ok…even, I know few secrets of yours.”

Gauri “what sort of secret? “

Anika “Oh..please..don’t act innocent..Om told me everything..” gauri got shocked by this..she looked Anika with wide eyes..

Gauri “ w..what? What Om told you..what..what did he tell?”

Anika “haaaah…he told that..she made gauri anxious…he told that…that..

Gauri “kya Akka..bole na…”

Anika “ oooooh someone is excited..hhha not so easy…I’ll say later..

Gauri “Akkaa…please..please..please bole na…I’ll make your favorite Aloo puri for you..

Anika “ very sorry…foam didn’t form..better luck next time…she ran from there leaving a red gauri there…

“aur haa..bring those Sweets from that table…it’s near to Appa’s room..ok? “ gauri screamed from behind for which Anika nodded ok..

—Meanwhile—

Raja “ we don’t have enough time…should do something hurry..”

Gayathri “listen, I’ve few acres of land there in TN..(Tamil Nadu) how about selling that?

Raghav “but Akka, that won’t be enough…something else should be done..

Raja “wait..we can think of what we have..Gayathri, we can think of that but before that, I want to know whether are you ok with this or not..” he held her shoulder…

Gayathri “ what are you talking Raja?? Anu is my daughter…even though I didn’t give her birth, even though she hates me, even though we don’t know anything about each other, she is as equal as Gauri & Sahil.. “

Anika came near to the table placed near to Raja’s room…she took the sweets and turned to leave but off hand few papers fell down by the wind..Anika bent down to take it…She was moving more close to door of Raja’s room following the papers..finally she reached the door..she heard some noises from there..she sharpened her ears to have a clear audio…

Raghav “Anne, just say for once I’m all ready to kill him..now..this moment..I’ll finish him off.. I’ll give his photo to my men..they will take care of him..”

Anika’s eyes widened hearing this..

Suddenly wind blew hardly through the window and that Shivaay photo which was forgotten by gauri fell down and it danced with the wind and finally came out through the gap of the bottom of door…Anika took the photo and was shocked to the core..

Anika “m…means..Shivaay….Sh..Shi..Shivaay’s life is…in da..d..danger!!!!!! ! ! !… Oh God..w.what’ll I do now..Shi…Shivaay..where is he now??”…Anika was all afraid and scared..he, without wasting a sec, ran out to Raju’s house…

—There—

Anika opened the door with a thud..Rejini kakki, from kitchen came to Anika and was hell shocked to witness Anika all shivering and panicking along with sweats..

Rejini “Anu…yennachu? ( what happened? )

Anika “ kakki, first, say where Shivaay is…I want to meet him..now itself..

Rejini “ Shivaay? But..but he isn’t here..

Anika “what?? Wh..where…where has he gone??” she was taking heavy breaths after every word..

Rejini “voh..Shivaay &Raju have gone a while ago..donno where they have gone…but it’s been so long,,they’ll be returning by now..

Anika “kya? It’s gonna be night still they haven’t returned..i..i..i’ve to do something…Shivaay..kaha hai aap?”

Rejini tried to know the reason but before she could ask anything, Anika went rushing..Anika searched the whole village..but Shivaay was nowhere to be found..temple..every fields..cottage..manger..TT’s house…everywhere.. but Shivaay wasn’t anywhere..

Anika was getting restless now…darkness were spreading all around still a hope of light could be found…

Anika “Shivaay, where are you…I need to see you now…please Shivaay….come back..I need you.. Shivaay please…” she was tapping her feet while tears were making it’s way out..

Suddenly it clicked her mind..

“Oh bete ki..how can I forget the river across the field… it’s Raju’s favorite spot…whenever he gets a new friend, he takes them there and plays… they have to be there…I should go..” Anika, being quick, ran to the river..her foot were dripping blood as she didn’t wear her sandals..her eyes were being red and white

——–River——

Shivaay was sitting on a black rock with stones in his hand throwing it to water…Raju, with his angle-hook immersed in water, was trying to get fishes…Vikram ( guys, don’t forget out cycle) was slantwised  near to a tree…

Raju “bhayya, even if Akka, comes with you please don’t go from here… I’ll really miss you.”

Shivaay “reeeeeeaally? Look who’s saying..” he mocked..

Raju “C’mon bhayya..mai serious hoon..don’t go ok..

Shivaay “arrey thu pagal hai? Who’ll leave his little brother…I’ll always be here…”

Raju “ and that’s my bhayya..waise bhayya, say one thing..what’s your biggest dream?”

Shivaay “ hey, just now you remembered me..you know I saw a dream where Anika is running to me and hugging tightly…kaash voh sapna poora ho jaye.. “ Shivaay sat back with his both hands as support and looked the crimson coloured sky..

Raju “ wah…what a hallucination….great..bhayya, I and even you know that this will never happen..then why are you dreaming?

Shivaay “kyu nehi hogi? F’course it’ll happen…dekhna thu…

Raju “hhmm…well hope this become true…thadasthu…”  he showed his open palm to him..

Shivaay “hhey bhagwan..aashirvad deejiye..” he bent down sticking his palm..they laughed out and cracked jokes and spent their time…

Anika reached there all panting…

“SHIVAAAAAAY……..” Anika looked here and there…finally she got the sight of Shivaay..

Shivaay turned back and saw Anika all shivering..her lips were pale and eyes were all bathed..Shivaay got shocked seeing her like that…he slided down from the rock and stood all straight…Anika’s eyes were filling more water

“Shh..vaahh…yyh… uhh..hh…SHIVAAAAY……” Anika ran to him and crossed her arms over his neck and pulled him to an ever tight hug..Shivaay’s eyes were bulged..Raju stood all agape..

“hawww…sapna poora ho gaya!!!! ! ! ! !!!….” Raju startled…

Her hair strands were burying Shivaay’s face..Anika clinched on to his coat making the grip more tight..Shivaay was still stunned..he slowly raised his hands and touched her back…he heard Anika’s crying and got more surprise..

Shivaay “Anika….An..Anika..kya hua..you..you ok…Anika..” he tried to pull her out but Anika strengthened her grip..

“ok..ok relax Anika..calm down…just say what happened..Anika say it…kya hua..did anyone taunt you or ragged? Just..just say it Anika..I’ll make his birds fly…Anika..” Shivaay caressed her back and supported her…

“Shihh..Shivaay..aap teek hai na?” Anika murmured between her cry..

“huh? Me? What happened to me? Anika, I’m all good..” Shivaay got confused…Anika wasn’t responding at all… Shivaay signaled Raju to go as it was getting dark..Raju acted upon his words…Anika was still on the same position but was making it more and more tight..Shivaay understood her situation and reciprocated the hug closing his eyes passionately…

Thanha adhoorah sa… Khamosh lamha sa…

Tehra hua hai dil yaha….. Mehsoos kar le thu..

Jezbaath ki khushbu….

Khud se karoo kya mai bayaa…

Dard hai jo halks sa…khwab khwab jhalka sa…

Anika opened her eyes and got to know the position…she slowly tried to move away..Shivaay opened his eyes and loosened his hold..Anika came out of the hug with tears stained face…she held his hand tightly..

“ come with me…” Anika pulled him without waiting for his answer..

“Anika, say what happened? And…and where are you taking me to? Anika say something..” Shivaay tried to have a response but went in vain..

********* Raju’s house…*******

Anika with Shivaay came to the back of Raju’s house…Anika left his hands and moved to the manger..Shivaay was confused with all these…she took his suitcase and packed his dress….now by this Shivaay understood what she was trying to do…he moved close to her and held her hand…

Shivaay “ Anika WHAT…ARE…YOU…DOING???…and don’t say that you’re making me to leave from here..”

Anika “I’m doing the same Shivaay..and you are gonna obey that..”

Shivaay “NOT AT ALL….I’m not gonna leave..”

Anika “yes..you are..’’

Shivaay “No..I’m not..” Shivaay was arrogant now..

Anika “Shivaay please…go away from here…I’ll book your tickets and will talk to Om to pick you..so that’s it..you’re going tomorrow morning itself and..” she was saying while packing his bag..

Shivaay “meri bag pack karne se mai chali nehi javoongi Anika..” he moved close to her.. “ just say the reason..why are you making me to go away? “

Anika “you don’t have to know..just leave from here as soon as possible..”

Shivaay “ I..AM..NOT..GOING..ANYWHERE..” he made her hear each word while taking the shirt from her hand…Anika got teary eyes..

Anika “ you never listen to me..right? why Shivaay ? why aren’t you taking any of my words?” she said cracking her voice..

Shivaay was melt by this..he moved closer to her and held her hand…Anika looked him watery and looked down to hide her tears…Shivaay cupped her face and joined his forehead with hers…

Shivaay “Anika…Anika thum janthi ho na, that I can’t live without you..then…then why are you sending me away from you? I’m not that strong enough to live without you..”

Anika held his hands which were on her face.. “ and what do you think, that I can live without you?? “

Shivaay looked her all stunned..Anika wiped her tears and held his hand tightly..

“Shivaay, you…you don’t know anything about me…what I was…what I am…and what I’m going to be..you don’t have any idea..and to talk about Appa..he is not that kind of a person like how you’re thinking..he can do anything with anyone..he has killed many people for that..and…and Shivaay, when he brought me here, he clearly told me that, if I come close to you then he can do anything with you…and..and…I can’t bear that..mai aapko dard mein nehi dekh sakhthi, khas meri wajah se tho bilkul bhi nehi…kabhi nehi.. I can’t Shivaay… I just can’t…”

Anika bursted out into tears..Shivaay was fully statled…he never imagined that Anika was doing all these for his sake…he made her look into his eyes..

Shivaay “Anika look at me..dekho..Anika, nothing will happen to me…nothing at all…this Shivaay Singh Oberoi is not that weak…he laughed a bit…hummm…mujhe patha nehi dha kit hum ithni choti baath ko lekar parishaan dhi.. I didn’t know that you’re such a pigeon-hearted girl…he smiled more..

Anika “Shivaay, aapko yeh sab Mazak lagtha hai?? How can you say this? “ she was shivering and her lips were losing words.. “ Shivaay, you don’t know..you don’t know how I’m living with this fear inside that what if something happen to you..Shivaay, just few mins before I heard sithappa talking about your death…Shivaay..Shivaay..anything can happen with you..Shivaay please go away from here…I can’t see you like this..plhh..eehh..ss hhh..Shivaay just go…pleasehhh..”

She bent down drowning with tears..Shivaay was all mum.. he tried to pacify her but Anika’s tears were making his efforts go into vain..she rested her heard on his chest…Shivaay wrapped her covering his hands over her..he caressed her hair and consoled her..Anika too captured him and cried out her heart…

Shivaay “ Anika…calm down..just relax..at least hear me..” he made her face him..he tucked back her hair strands sticked to the tears… “Anika, mujhe kuch nehi hoga..trust me..if anyone comes to kill me then he’ll never return back..hey Anika, even I know how to beat back..ok?..” he rubs her tears.. “ I don’t know why, but I can’t see you in tears..”

Anika “kyu?? “

Shivaay “ donno..it really hurts…here..” he places his palm over heart.. “Any way…so finally I got to know why you were avoiding me..umm…so the problem over..now I’ll stay here only..”

Anika “ Shivaay…”

Shivaay “Anika..I’m saying na..nothing will happen to me…trust me yaar… “

Anika “pakka?? “ she asks low

Shivaay “pakka…now go…it’s late already..everyone will be worried..” he made her hair perfect and wiped off all the tears…Anika, without any response, was staring him..again a lone drop fell down…

Shivaay “mchhh…I told you na Anika not to cry..ok? should never ever cry…”

Anika “ Shivaay, aap mujhe chodke nehi jayegi na? “ she narrowed her question…Shivaay looked straight into her coca-brown eyes..

“I’ll be always there with you…nothing will happen wrong…yeh mera…he stopped…thumhara pathi ka thumse vaada hai…” he said holding her shoulders assuring everything will be fine…they togethered their foreheads and silently enjoyed their moment…Anika was the first to open her eyes… Shivaay took a step back and signaled her to go home smiling…she too smiled back seeing his innocence..she turned leaving a sigh….she took few baby steps and turned back to see Shivaay standing with a assuring smile…Anika again walk few more steps and the darkness covered her…she closed her fist clinching on to her dress…she turned back but Shivaay wasn’t there…she got unknowingly a slight fear..she arced front and saw Shivaay with his right hand forwarded…She smiled and held his hand….Shivaay was enjoying each and every moment with Anika….they both reached near to destination…Shivaay stopped there as Raja has warned him not to enter the house…Anika looked him with emotions..

Shivaay “it’s ok..uncle ne kaha hai na…have to obey…you go..I’ll stay here till you reach there…”

Anika slowly left his hand and walked further…she reached the door and looked back to see Shivaay jumping over the rocks and returning happily…

Anika smiled and recollected their moments..she blushed and smiled as well lowering her head…

Om was the first to wake up and when he couldn’t find shivaay.. He woke up Rudra..
O: Rudra.. Rudra.. Wake up na!! Did you see shivaay??
Rudra(still sleepy) : ha O…
Shivaay bhaiyya is scolding me now..
O(confused) : what?? Where??
Rudra (still sleepy… And didn’t open his eyes..) : ha… In my dream!!

O: duffer!! Get up.. I’m asking you seriously..
Saying he hits him..
Rudra(getting up with a jerk) : what happened O?? You woke me this early..??
O: I asked you if you saw Shivaay.. He won’t leave anywhere without informing anyone of us..
R: no.. Wasn’t he sleeping with us..
Aisa kaise gayab hogaya?!
Ok come.. Let’s go and search.. He will most probably be in anika bhabhi’s room..
O: may be.. You have a point!! But anu will be with gauri and somu right??
R: arrey O how many questions you have!! Let’s see na..

So they go into the room..
Just then Gauri and Somu woke up and were discussing where anika was…
O: good morning guys..
G: morning om.. How come you both are here… So early in this morning??
R: bhabhi.. This O only woke me up…
Anyway.. We came in search of Shivaay bhaiyya..
G: oh.. Jiju is not here.. Actually even anika di is not here..
Omru(a bit surprised): what??
OK then let’s go search for them… They must be together only..

They searched the whole Oberoi mansion but they couldn’t find them..
R: let’s search in the garden..
So they all went and they found them at last…

They surrounded Shivika who were still sleeping..
They both woke up when they heard some voices…
R(smirking): bhaiyya.. Bhabhi…
Shivika were shocked at first to see all of them surrounding them but later they understood that they were still in the garden…

Shivika(together.. Weakly smiling at the others..) : hi guys..
O: what are you both doing here..?? I mean you were here from last night??
A: ha… Woh om.. I got up in the midnight… And she tells the whole story except their romance part..

R: bhabhi.. It’s ok!! We understand you don’t want to tell your private moments.. Chalo.. No problem..!!
S: rudra..!! You are not m….
R(acting innocently): what bhaiyya??
No bhaiyya…
S(confused): what no bhaiyya??
R: arrey bhaiyya.. I’m not so romantic as you bhaiyya!!
The others bursted out laughing.. And Shivika were embarrassed..

They all go back inside.. But the elders were already awake now and were sitting in the hall…
Dadi: where did all of you go?? This early…
S: Woh.. Dadi…
dadi… I will tell you… said Rudra jumping!!
Shivom(together):shut up Rudra…
S:we all just went outside dadi… For a casual walk!! Know guys??
And the others nodded their head in positive…!!

Later all were busy with their works.. Rudra and Saumya went to the office.. They just had one day time… Left…
In the office…
R: Somu.. Everything is done.. !! now the only thing is to show them our product…
Somu: yeah Rudra.. But I’m very scared.. This product is different from that product design.. Will the clients accept this..??
R: don’t worry somu.. Everything will be fine.. Have faith in yourself !!then only you will become successful..

In saumya’s office..
Saumya was tensed and was fidgeting with her fingers..
When rudra went and put his hand on her shoulder..with another hand held her hands.. And reasurred her with a smile on his face..
R: somu.. No worries..!! Let’s do our best!!
Somu just nodded in positive looking at him..

The clients arrived and saumya along with some of her employees went inside the conference hall..
While rudra waited …
It was almost two hours since Rudra was waiting in somu’s room..

And suddenly he felt the door opening..
Saumya came running to her room.. She opened the door and ran towards rudra.. And hugged him..
Somu: Thank you so much rudra!! Nothing would have been possible without you.. Our project is a huge success…
Rudra still hugging her..
R: I knew it somu..!! Congrats… It’s all your talent that you have achieved this..!!
They broke their hug at last..

Rudra gets a call..

They were all busy with their decorations..

Part 16

Before shivay could speak anything Anika left from there. He heard Khanna calling him.

” Good morning sir, car is ready. Shall we move now”, Khanna asked him.

Shivay who was lost in her words came to reality.

” Huh what did you say?”.

” Sir woh car is ready.”

” Oh okay I will come”.

He saw Anika entering into the car.

Shivay’s pov

Does she love me? Wait a minute what am I thinking? This is not possible. She herself left me. When she herself is yearning for love how can she be so cruel to separate me from my family. People always say never believe whatever you see, hear and speak.

I always make mistake by not trusting her. I didn’t trust her when daksh told me about her. I didn’t trust her when she told me about tia instead I called her as gold digger. I didn’t trust her during many occasions. But she always trusted me in every thing. When everyone believed Tia’s baby was mine she was the only one stood by my side along with omru. When daksh blackmailed me to call her as my mistress she still supported me. She left from there denying her rights. She wanted to see Priyanka happy. She took a bullet for me. She decided to save my life by sacrificing her.

She supported me in numerous situations. But I was the one who failed to understand her. Am I making a mistake again by not trusting her. Will there be a reason behind all her behavior? I should find it before I spoil everything.

Shivay silently sat in the car. Silence prevailed between them. She was afraid to look into his eyes. She worried what if he find the love for him in her eyes. On the other side shivay was also not looking into her eyes.

He was fighting with his guilt. He felt guilty for not trusting her. After reaching oberoi mansion they went to their room and got ready.

Anika got a call from her cafe.

” Hello mam”, Shilpa said.

” Shilpa how many times I told you to not call me as mam. Call me Anika. First of all I am your friend then only I am your boss”, anika said.

” Anika u will never change”, Shilpa laughed.

” That’s like my friend”,

” Anika I actually called you because we got a call from Bose industries. They want to meet u regarding some project. Your presence is very important.”

” Oh yes u r right. Thank you for reminding me. When is the meeting?”.

” Today 11:30 AM at sunshine hotel.”

” What today?”, Anika was shocked.

” Actually they wanted to meet u immediately.”

” But how can I”, anika stammered.

” Listen Anika this meeting is very important. You can’t miss it. Now be a good girl and come fast”, Shilpa said seriously

” Okay I will come. Take care.”

” Okay. Bye”, Shilpa finished her call.
Shivay who was listening to Anika’s conversation saw Anika getting worried.

” Anika is everything fine”,he asked her.

” Woh actually Mr. Oberoi I actually got a meeting to attend. It’s very important for me to be there”.

” U r mad Anika. Why r u worried for this? Don’t worry I will tell Khanna to drop u”, he smiled at her and went.

Anika’s pov

Did he really is not remembering today is my last day here. I thought he will stop me from going. I know this meeting is very important. I worked very hard for this. But nothing is more important to me than shivay. It’s so stupid of me. I am expecting those things which I will never get in my life. I can’t live with shivay. I can live only with his memories. This one week was the best ever week of my life.

All those things I did with shivay in this week I will never forget it. Maybe God has seized my love but still he gave me a reason to live. Shivay’s happiness is my reason to live. For his happiness I am ready to hurt myself for thousand times.

She got ready for meeting and went from oberoi mansion.

Shivay’s pov

I am sorry Anika. I know I am hurting u. I wanted you to stay with me. But what to do your career is also very important to me. I know u worked very hard for this project. You may wonder how can I know this but I always kept tab on your work. I know everything about your career.

Today is the last day of our togetherness. I will make it so special for both of us. After what I am about to do tomorrow I don’t know whether I can stand before you or not. I know I am going to break u into pieces. I will never be able to forgive myself for that.

I know Anika u may think I am hurting u but the truth is I am hurting myself. A life without you is like living in hell. Living without you will make my life just a mere existence. I can’t live without you. But we r not meant to be together. Why you did this to me? I am trying to find the reason behind your behavior but I am not able to. For the first time I think being Shivay Singh oberoi is useless.

I have so much money and power but I can’t understand your heart. It’s so stupid of me. Again I am going to follow my brain which is definitely not a right choice but u r forcing me to do this. Why can’t you come and tell me the reason behind your behavior.

I am ready to forgive you. I want to start a new life with you. Please Anika come back to me.

Anika dialled Shivaay’s number and her hands were trembling….Shivaay received the call…

Shivaay ”Hello”

Anika disconnected the call

Shivaay ”Hello…Hello” he dropped the call

Anika again dialled…Shivaay picked up and Anika didn’t speak…this continued for many times…finally Shivaay sent a message which read as

”Ms.Surpanaka i know it’s you who have been calling me and not speaking….i never knew we have got separated to this extent that you have nothing to speak to me…whatever it is, i am so happy at this moment , that you remembered me at least now…i hope you and Sahil are fine..i mis….nothing…Yours’s Mr. Ritchie Rich”

Anika read the message again and again and her tears continued to explode….Shivaay was also emotional ….Anika replied to Shivaay…the message read as

”I am coming on the same day at same place…if you have not forgotten anything then this sentence is enough to understand everything…i really hope you would come there , then…i don’t know whether i must say ”yours Ms.Surpanaka ” or just ”Ms.Surpanaka”

Shivaay smiled and replied ”You will always be my Ms.Surpanaka…only if you believe me”

Anika replied ”if possible don’t let anyone know my arrival…i don’t want to raise any hopes or expectations in anyone….”

Shivaay ”As you wish”

Anika smiled amid tears and didn’t reply anything further……..

On the other hand Sahil explained OmRu what Anika did all these years and requested not to let anything to be known to Shivaay jiju…OmRu agreed to Sahil to keep this within they three….

Days passed by and after 15 days

Anika ”Sahil get up, we will get late”

Sahil ”didi let me sleep please”

Anika ”you know i can’t miss the flight”

Sahil ”someone is too eager to go to India”

Anika ”shut up…don’t tease me”

Sahil ”anyone who see our house will tease you…have you noticed …every room , corridor even washrooms have calendars attached and you have been crossing the dates from past 15 days..crazily in every calendar …Shivaay jiju is right…you are sach mein pagal”

Anika ”haaww …are you my brother or his katori”

Sahil ”katori…what’s that?”

Anika ”actually i named Sid and Daksh as Spoon and Karchi…so left over is katori, so i called you that”

Sahil ”nothing can happen of you didi”

Anika smiled and then put up a serious face and said ”now don’t waste time we have to leave..20 min you have and your time starts now”

Sahil obliged and went ahead to get ready…they both started to board the flight….the travel was seeming very long for Anika…..

Shivaay was equally excited and nervous somewhere to meet Anika…he waited eagerly for the day to arrive…OF noticed and asked him the reason for his happiness…he never said anything and used to skip the discussion…however somewhere everyone were happy that they were able to see the old shivaay slowly coming back……..

Finally the day arrived for both of them…Shivaay started to meet Anika…Anika sent Sahil to Old Delhi to Sundari Bua and she continued her journey to the decided place…..

————Kodaikanal, same scenic place where everything started between Mr.Ritchie Rich and Ms.Surpanaka exactly 11 years ago

Anika came and sat on the same seat where she sat and spoke to her bestie….she was looking once again at the clouds, and thinking about Shivaay

Anika TAM ”Bestie, it’s been very long time, i came here….but nothing changed in this place…tell me one thing, will he be the same as he used to be with me…no na…but why is my excitement same as it was years back….first you left me, then he left me…no i don’t want to be sad…i don’t want to cry..i came here and i wanted to listen to him…i will do that…see him , listen to him and then we will have our own paths once again…but i am scared bestie, how will i face him…with whatever happened , how can i be normal…the nervousness , the tension everything is eating up my brain and my stress levels are increasing”

Shivaay was nowhere to be seen…Anika looked around and looked at watch….she roamed here and there…took few steps and came back and sat on bench….time was passing by…Shivaay didn’t turn up….Anika took a stone and wrote SRO on the bench….it was getting midday…she was feeling hungry….

Anika TAM ”i think he doesn’t remember the day and place…so he didn’t turn up…but is this really possible…i have faith that he didn’t forget anything…then why didn’t he turn up…may be he got struck somewhere…may be may be may be…this may be will someday finish me”

She stood up to eat something….and closed her eyes to take a deep breath and leave….when her nostrils got the smell of her favourite Aloo poori…she turned towards the side from where the aroma was coming , still closing her eyes…she felt someone to be seated beside her, she realised then that he has come…she didn’t dare to open her eyes and quickly turned her face towards the opposite side…

Shivaay looked at her without blinking his eyes….

Shivaay TAM ”She didn’t change a bit …same as she was when she left me, except that she lost some more weight and is seen really thin…but why the hell has she turned her face other side…she didn’t change this way too…she was strange then and more strange now…”

Both remained silent and were waiting for each other to start the conversation….the silence seemed awkward to both of them…Anika was about to give up when Shivaay coughed and said

Shivaay ”hi..Ms…Ms…”

Anika ”hello”

(please note: Anika still didn’t turn her face towards him)

Shivaay ”so..how are you”

Anika ”i..i am good…how…how are you?”

Shivaay ”I am..i am also good…When..when did you arrive here”

Anika felt to scold him for being late, but she couldn’t do that because of the awkwardness of the situation they were in

Anika ”yesterday night we landed in Delhi and today morning i reached here”

Shivaay ”we? you and ?”

Anika ”sahil”

Shivaay ”ohh..i thought”

Anika ”howz your wife?”

Shivaay coughed with that question from her

Shivaay ”she is good…very good…” he spoke audible and then murmured ”i am seeing her now”

Anika ”and kids”

Shivaay once again coughed for a while…

Shivaay ”Yeah 5 kids…two girls, three boys”

Anika ”whaat?”

Anika’s eyes widened…she composed herself

Shivaay ”are you shocked….every two years one kid…it happened, couldn’t stop”

Anika ”okay stop now…i mean …congratulations”

Shivaay ”wouldn’t you ask me their names?”

Anika ”what are their names?”

Shivaay ”Chinku, minku, bunty, monty, rinki, ” he controlled his laugh

Anika ”these are their real names…i mean …sorry to ask this…but i expected some ”

Shivaay ”you expected some…. what?” he turned towards her

Anika ”nothing” she turned her face towards him…he turned his face the other side

Anika ”actually i expected the names of your kids to be modern, stylish and so…”

Shivaay ”it happens…sometimes what we expect doesn’t happen”

Anika ”what”

Shivaay ”nothing…actually my wife decided the names to be so…i was saying that”

Anika smiled silently and looked at the passing clouds..again the silence took the centre between them…

Anika ”you didn’t change …you still can’t lie looking at the person”

Shivaay ”you too didn’t change…you catch my lie easily…but”

Anika looked at him….Shivaay too looked at her….tears slowly started forming in their eyes….their emotions were ready to break the boundary of their patience….both wanted to hug each other at that moment, but tried to pull back their emotions….moved a bit towards each other and stopped…all this they did without taking off their eyes from each other….

After a while, Shivaay’s sight fell on the A&S pendant that Anika wore and Anika’s sight fell on the SRO bracelet that Shivaay had in his hand….Anika wiped her tears and so did Shivaay….

Anika ”So you didn’t get married ”

Shivaay ”NO”

Anika’s bubble of imaginations broke at that point and the sand beneath her feet slipped….her voice trembled and her body shivered….she went blank…as she suffered a severe pain in her entire body, more to her heart…..she didn’t speak up anything….

Shivaay understood her state…Anika didn’t let her emotions outside….she just looked at him, not knowing what to do and what to ask…every moment of her life in these 10+years played before her and she was aghast and drowned in guilt…..

Shivaay looked at her with his emotions breaking in within himself…He couldn’t bear his lady to be in such pathetic situation , but he couldn’t do anything until she speaks up….

Anika ”why?” she gathered courage to ask him finally

Shivaay ’’because, my heartbeat left my heart and i was waiting for it’s return” his voice choked as he looked at her with his most innocent yet saddest looks

Anika finally broke down with his answer….She cried at the top of her voice…Shivaay too had tears rolling out uncontrollably…he didn’t want to stop her tears, neither his tears….after sometime, he couldn’t see her in that state…his hands trembled while he extended them towards her….he finally placed his hands over her shoulders moving near her….

Shivaay ”Ms.Surpanaka…please stop crying…i cannot see you like this…you know this very well” his voice choked while he tried to pacify

Anika ”i am sorry Mr.Ritchie Rich…i am really sorry” she broke down holding his hands bending her head down to her leg joints…………

Shivaay ”okay..okay stop now…it’s over…it’s over….look at me…just look at me…Ms.Surpanka look at me for God sake” he spoke holding her head and trying to lift it up …..

Anika ”i can’t look at you, after what all happened…i don’t have the gits to look at you….i should have listened to you that day, keeping away my anger and doubt aside…but i couldn’t do so…i just destroyed everything….just destroyed…i gave pain to everyone, …everyone.. be it our friends or your, no my family…i hurt them…and most importantly i hurt you…i hurt you Mr.Ritchie Rich..i just hurt you immensly”

Shivaay ”Ms.Surpanka…that phase has ended long back…there is no point remembering it and feeling the pain once again”

Anika ”no…you can’t be so good to me…” she gulped the saliva , lifted her head, wiped her tears and looked at him and continued

Anika ”Mr.Ritchie Rich slap me, thrash me, scold me but please forgive me” she pleaded

Shivaay nodded in agreement and said ”yes , i must do that..because you deserve all those for going away from me for so many years…i must do it because you never felt to turn back and look at me…i must do it for making me far away from you”

Anika ”i am ready to take all of them…go ahead Mr.Ritchie Rich” she said and got up

Shivaay too got up and raised his hand and Anika closed her eyes as tight as possible with tears coming out along with hiccups…….Shivaay had tears of happiness as he remembered the flashback when he was in same position as Anika was now and Anika was in the same situation where he was then….a smile appeared and he remembered how Anika instead of slapping him , hugged him…he couldn’t stop himself anymore and

Shivaay dragged Anika towards him and hugged her and cried…..Anika couldn’t hold back and hugged him as tight as possible….their tears spoke volumes of the pain that they have undergone for long years…their hug gave them the relief that they were searching for so many years…their silence gave them the peace that they could find only in each other ….no words were spoken but many things were expressed in that one hug…and both of them didn’t want to break that hug anytime soon…..they didn’t care for what others would think seeing them…no surroundings, no other people, nothing mattered….they were just trying to relive their moments of togetherness, that slipped away from them for so many years for whatever reason….

After a long time of hugging, they both came into senses…Shivaay cupped her face and bent to kiss her forehead…Anika closed her eyes wanting to be in his solace….he made her sit and he sat down pulling her towards his chest and placing his hands over her back…Anika tied his waist by her hands….

Shivaay ”i missed this all these years…i missed you like anything…if you would have delayed further I would have die….”

Anika quickly closed his mouth nodding horizontally asking him not to say anything of that sort

Shivaay ”why did you go? fine I understand, that day you were hurt , angry and disappointed with me…but how can you just disappear? ”

Anika ”what should have i done…i couldn’t see you with another woman…and i left promising myself not to return ever”

Shivaay ”did you forget, it was never you alone…you and I were never different…you knew this very well”

Anika ”i am sorry Mr.Ritchie Rich…i am really so”

Shivaay ”don’t apologise so many times…it is not needed…you…you…forget it” he pulled her into his embrace with much force

Anika ”i will never do this again..”

Shivaay ”even if you think of doing this stupidity ever, i will kill you first”

Anika ”who has stopped you, you can do anything when it’s about me..your Ms.surpanaka”

Shivaay ”how i miss taking this name every now and then…how i miss teasing you…how i miss all those sweet moments…our meeting without anyone’s notice…those small hugs, pecks, kisses and talks…our banter, our arguments ..everything i missed”

Anika came out of his embrace and straightened herself , she moved towards him and kissed him on his cheeks …she looked other side not able to stare at him out of shy

Shivaay ”you are blushing…yes ..look at you…you are blushing…how i miss this blushing scene..”

Anika smiled sadly and said ”what do you think Mr.Ritchie Rich…was i enjoying my life going away from you…i shed tears everyday remembering you…i tried to forget you..but i couldn’t do that….i died every moment and may be i lived only to meet you today….”

Shivaay ‘’then why did you disappear…did you not feel like meeting me for once…talking to me…’’

Anika ‘’you are asking me this…don’t you know the answer for this’’

Shivaay ‘’I know..but I want to know…you said you will not leave me and stay back as my shadow…then why did you leave me and go…you could have fought with me…’’

Anika smiled sadly

Shivaay ‘’what? I am waiting for your response’’

Anika ‘’I never wanted to say this or rather I never wanted you to know this…but since you are awaiting an answer I am letting you know’’

Shivaay ‘’ I didn’t understand…say it straight’’

Anika ‘’I always kept my promise of being your shadow…you couldn’t see it because it was dark…’’

Shivaay looked at her and said ‘’you mean to say…I couldn’t see despite you being near to me’’

Anika ‘’you conversed with me everyday, without knowing it was me whom you conversed with’’

Shivaay was shocked and he became alert , he said ‘’how can this be possible’’

Anika ‘’because you felt I have left you forever breaking my promise given to you…you couldn’t see I was before you’’

Shivaay was again startled…he gathered himself and said ‘’tell me everything properly…don’t make it complex …say in simple words’’

Anika nodded and looked at the natural scenery before her……

Before saying those words I want to tell you something which you should know before I confess anything ! About my past….I never told you before but today I feel like sharing it with you…. He got a thin watery layers in his eyes that too with a smile. He continued…, ” I want to tell you about my family!! Yes anika… My family… Full of different characters and lovable people…. You have met dadi right but I have my mom dad also.. My parents to whom I was the only son so you could imagine how much they adorned me….those people who get love from parents are considered lucky but I was double lucky because I had my Bade Papa and badi maa also… They always considered me as their son though they had three children but I was their fav…. They used to love me like anything, then I had three people who were my brothers and sister but I felt like having three kids after I had them in my life… My omru and prinku…. Just imagine having so many people around you, it feels like a having a blessing…. My brothers were my life… I used to live my life for them. It was all beautiful… Everything was just perfect till she entered my life…. I just hate her…. I never knew she would do this to me me….. His eyes got anger and turned red. Anika never saw this much anger in his eyes so she also sat on her both knees and cupped his face forgetting about her health issues and wiped off from his eyes…., ” who shivay??” she asked him…., ” ragini….. It was the biggest mistake of my life to trust her, I had promised myself that I won’t take her name ever in my life….but I didn’t wish to hide anything from you after that you are free to take any decision….” he looked down and spoke. Anika raised his face and slowly pecked his forehead. He closed his eyes…. ” I won’t judge you from your past shivay… Never!! As much as I know you is enough for me to take any decision and if you past hurts you even a bit then I don’t want to hear such past….” she smiled and joined her head with his.
She never always showcased a strong bond of trust on him.
Shivay : how can you trust me so much?? She smiled at his question…., ” because you have given me so many reasons to trust you” she concluded. Anika I want to tell you everything…. I can’t keep this more inside me so will you just sit beside me and listen?? His eyes were having so much of pain. ” I am here shivayyyy….. Just say whatever you want to, I m listening to you” anika pacified him. He smiled and started narrating his past…
” I had a very big family anika as I told you, all members were my lifelines….. But now I lost each of them, they are no more with me anika because of her…. I just hate her… She snatched my family from me… I won’t forgive her ever” he spoked while bursting into tears. Anika rubbed his back. He continued…. This oberoi mansion which just has silence now, used to had so much noise I can’t tell you…. Everyone was scattered here and there… Mom and badi maa used to discuss about our weddings…. Dad and Bade Papa were usually discussing about their business…. My artist brother was always indulged in his artistic works…. He was really mature and intelligent, omkara Singh oberoi!! My expert advisor… He laughed and I had one more jem, my dumbell Singh oberoi or should I say dumb Singh oberoi, always busy in building his body…. He was like my kid and among all of them their was a innocent face with pure heart…. My prinku, Princess of this oberoi mansion and life of her brothers” anika smiled while listening to the description he was giving about each and every member of his family….” till the day she entered ” his smile faded.
Flashback
Pinky: jethanijii guesses whats… Ragini is comings backs… Haan jethanijii wohi Ragini Jisko humne omkara ke liye pasand kiya tha…
Janvi gets happy and they both tells this news to everyone. Omkara heard this news and got sad….. He didn’t wish to marry her. Shivay noticed this went to him but he didn’t share anything with him. Next day shivay got ready for office and went to meet his brothers…
Rudra: it’s good bhaiya aap aa gaye… See o is so upset since he has got know about that makdi…. He spoke cutely.
Shivom looked at him in confusion…
Rudra : what?? Ab aise Kya dekh raho mujhe… I know I am handsome but only girls have the right to stare me…
” shut up rudra ” and the same dialog came to him. He folded his lips.” om even I noticed that you are not happy with this relationship, just tell me I will ask badi maa and Bade Papa!! ” he asked him to share.
” I don’t want to marry her shivay!! Actually I am not ready for all this… I won’t be able to tell this to mom as she is very happy!! Please help me out… ” he pleaded in a tensed tone.” hmm…. Bas itni si baat ke liye tune mere bhai ko dukhiar dia… Now smile and forget about all this, I will handle everything ” he assured om. Shivay went to Janvi and tej and made them understand om’s discomfort.
Tej : hmm…. Fine then but in all this who will talk to Ragini… I mean since her parents died we have taken care of her and now when is coming back from US, we have told her about her and om’s engagement. She was really happy…. Ab usse kaise samjhayenge.
Janvi gets a msg from Ragini that she is on the airport waiting for someone to receive her. ” don’t worry badi maa, I will go and get her, in the meantime I will try to talk to her about this…. She is an understanding person and I think she will understand our point of view” shivay concluded and left to pick up her.
Flashback paused
” this was my first mistake that I considered her to be an understanding person ” shivay cursed himself….” so did you talk to her?? ” anika asked.
Flashback continued
A girl in shorts and black leather jacket was standing looking into her phone.” hmm…you are looking breathtaking ragini! I must say nobody can beat you in terms of good looks!! ” she looked herself in front camera and made a pout…. She raised his Camera to take a selfie, suddenly her eyes fell on a person who came in her front camera… She turned. Shivay was coming from the opposite direction, he was well dressed in a glamorous suit and his personality stunned ragini, he came and stood in front of her. ” Hii! If I m not wrong… Then you are ragini right?” he removed his goggles and spoke. She noded her heard vertically…. ” Ohh that’s great! Come I will take you to oberoi mansion” he left towards his car. ” didn’t know that omkara is so handsome man!! Woahhhhh ragini this man will suit alot to your s*xy image..” she mistook shivay to be om and fell for him. They both reached oberoi mansion and everyone welcomed her. Aa the while she was just staring shivay from top to bottom…. He noticed her gazing and felt awkward but didn’t pay much attention.
Ragini’s pov
Uffff!! Why I didn’t come India before??…. She smiled gazing shivay / om for her.
Om entered and started talking to shivay…. Ragini came to them. ” hey om I didn’t know that you changed so much…” she looked at shivay and spoke. Shivom felt weird that why was calling shiv… Om. ” I m same ragini! Why did you feel that I changed” on replied. ” Ohhh sorry but I am talking to om…” and she looked at shivay while replying to om. ” sorry ragini but I feel that there is some confusion… I mean you have mistaken me as om… I m shivay not om” shivay cleared her confusion. She chocked… ” what?? But aunty had told me that om will come to pick me up and then you came… You are joking right” she couldn’t digest the truth. ” ya actually I had some work so shivay had to pick you up” om spoke. Ragini felt like the floor just slipped beneath her legs. Tej called Shivom and they excused her.
” what the hell?? He is not om…. No this can’t happen… I mean just look at him… He is perfect for you ragini. No matter what… I want him!! It doesn’t matter whether he is om or shivay… I will marry him only” ragini looked at shivay.
Later on at night ragini was thinking of something to break engagement with om and marry shivay just then shivay knocked the door. She looked at him and got excited. ” hey you! Come come” she spoke and held his shoulder. ” actually I need to tell you something important ragini” shivay freed his shoulder from her hold. She took back and her hand and looked at him.
” see ragini I don’t know how will you react but I hope you will understand… Actually you know about your and om’s engagement ” ragini made a disgusting face listening om’s name.
” I m sorry but om is not happy with relationship! I know you must be hurt but I really feel that you will understand why I am saying this to you…. Marriage should have clear decisions and om is not able take this decision now so… ” he tried his best to explain himself as he was thinking her be upset after listening to such thing. But he didn’t know that it was what she actually wanted to happen. A huge smile appeared on her face but she controlled herself and held his hands pretending to be sad. ” Ohhh is it so? Om is not ready for this marriage….” she made a sad face. ” hey I m really sorry for all this…” she cutted him in between…., ” no no shivay don’t be sorry… I can understand…. Actually I am very happy…” shivay looked at her…. ” I mean I happy that you said this to me otherwise… It’s OK shivay… I have no issues” she smiled. Shivay felt that to be so nice of her and left. Ragini jumped out of happiness and lay down on her bed… ” Ohhhhh shivay you don’t know you solved such big problem…. Otherwise how would I have got ridden of that long hair dumbo… I mean just look at him… No personality… Nothing…. And see you!! You are just perfect!,… Now I will make you mine…” she smiled.
Next day oberois planned to give a welcome back party for ragini as they considered her to be family so the party was organized at evening. Ragini dressed herself in a hot gown to attract shivay.

Party started and she went to shivay but he just said a Hii to her and left…. She got angry that he wasn’t even looking at her properly. Media had so arrived, tej wanted to Ragini to talk to them but she wasn’t there….. He asked shivay to get her so he went behind her…. he knocked the door and entered the room, it was dark everywhere….to be continued.
