Loved Her Enough 

He hated. All of it. Every second of it. Bit was there anything he could do? Anything that could turn things to his favour? NO. There was nothing. Except her. Except her forgiveness.

But would she forgive? Would she let go of all and start afresh? Would she?

He knew the answer would be a two lettered word which he desperately wanted to be the three lettered one. One that would change everything.

She knew it was him the moment he stepped into his life in that disguise on that Karwa Chauth night. Their eyes had met, heartbeat had increased and breaths laboured. Her heart was elated to learn of his arrival but……..

………. but was she ready to accept him? Take him back after what all he has done? After all those nasty accusations and curses he hurled at her, was she ready to let go of all those so easily?

If so, why?

Again, she failed to retrieve an answer. She failed again. Failed to her heart.

He watched he being decorated for the marital night, a night that newly wedded couples looked forward to.

His heart ached to realise that at one point of time, the same thing happened with him too. The occasion was the same as back then but the groom was not.

Her friends cracked blush worthy jokes while she lowered her gaze. But that fiery glint in her eyes was missing.

Was it really so? Or was he hallucinating like always?

This time he wanted the answer to be the two lettered one instead of the three lettered.

He did not know why he had done that. But the fact remains that he did. He had let her go. Willingly.

Flashback

“Abb kanyadaan karne ka waqt ho gaya hai.” (It’s time to hand over the daughter) the Pandit said.

“Par kanyadaan kaun karega? Uski toh Papa nahi hai.” the crowd chanted and a confusion broke in.

She heaved a sigh of relief. Perhaps she could now get a few seconds to confront him while someone arranged for her kanyadaan.

But the unexpected did take place.

“Koi gal na ji. Agar aapko aitraaz na ho toh Maaji hum hai na. Ji hum karenge kanyadaan.” said he.

“Kya sach! Aap karoge, beta? her mother asked, tears in the corner of her eyes.

“Oh kyun na ji! Hum aapko Maa bulate hai aur Gauri ji ne humme yeh friendship band di hai, humme aapna sabse achcha dost banaya. Toh ji abb iss Dosti Ko nibhane ka waqt as gaya.” His words chocked.

“Sukriya Dilpreet beta. Jeete raho.”

She couldn’t fathom what just happened. She felt dizzy.

But all seemed well when she felt that familiar touch. His touch. His warmth. Was everything okay now? Was all this a dream? She closed her eyes to relish it and confirm her thoughts only to have it gone. His warmth hone. She snapped open her eyes to find him walking down the mandap and that her hand was on top of her nearly husband, Ajay, who passed her a smile. But she did not return it.

Her kanyadaan was done.

Flashback ends

Her trance broke due to the laughter of her friends. She could still feel him in the room. His eyes all over her.

“Chalo sab. Abb isko zara akele chhod do.” One of the friends say and the rest followed suit and went out of the room.

He also came out from behind the long curtain that he was hiding.

“Chalte hai Gauriji. Shaadi mubarak ho. Aapna khayal rakhna.” (Goodbye Gauriji. Congratulations on your marriage. Take care.) He said and turned to leave.

“Rukiye Omkaraji. Humare sawal ka jawab dijiye. Aapne humara kanyadaan kyun kiya?” (Wait Omkaraji. Answer my question. Why did you do my kanyadaan?) She asked.

“Oh na ji. Omkara nahi, Dilpreet. Myself Dilpreet Singh not Omkara Singh Oberoi.”

He moment those words slipped he regretted. She already it was him and now he has given away.

“Agar aisa hai toh aapko pata kaise chala hum kis Omkara bi baat kar rahe hai? Natak maat kijiye air sawal ka jawab dijiye.” (If so then how do you know which Omkara I’m talking of? Stop your drama and answer my question.)

He stepped closer to her that his lips almost touched her earlobe. “Kuch sawalo ke mein seedhe jawab nahi de sakta.” ( I cannot directly answer some questions)

Her heart skipped a beat realising their proximity. Her breaths got laboured but he stepped away.

He turned around to exit when Ajay entered.

“Shaadi mubarak ho, Ajay ji.” He wished. (Congratulations on your marriage, Ajay ji.)

“Ji sukriya. Aapne bina yeh shaadi sambhav nahi hota, Dilpreet ji.” (Thank you. This marriage wouldn’t have been possible without you.)

He smiled. “Chalte hain.” (Bye.)

And with that he was gone. Fine from her life. Perhaps for forever.

He never once looked back at her and continued to walk. Walk until she could not get a glimpse of him anymore. Perhaps he hiding his unstoppable tears. Perhaps he has afraid that she would ditch her new life if she sees his crying. Perhaps.

She did not know when Ajay took her in his arms and the bedroom door was closed. He started kissing her neck. But she did not feel anything. All her sense did not function. All her nerves were numb.

Perhaps they were gone with him. Perhaps.

Their meeting was incomplete. Would they cross paths again? Will everything be alright again?

Perhaps.

She realised he loved her. Enough. Enough to her go.

Let’s peep into today’s episode..

SCENE – 1

The episode starts with Anika and Rudra walking to the class..

Rudra : You wasted my time Anika.. I would have done so much in this 1 hour which I spent visiting this whole college..

Anika : What would have you done?? Might have flirted with some girls,isn’t it?? Instead,you walked with me.. atleast this is good for health..

Rudra : Am I a sugar patient??

Anika : Is it a joke? You want me to laugh??

Rudra pouts.. By then,Gauri sees them from the first floor and waves her hand..

Rudra : Go.. your friend is calling you.. I am going to my class..

Anika : Shut up and come with me.. Don’t tell anything about that senior to her..

She grabs his hand and takes him..

Gauri : Where have you been stupids?? I was waiting for you..

Rudra : We have started working as goons..

Gauri : What??

Rudra : Goons.. That is warning and beating up people..

Gauri looks at Anika with confused expression..

Anika : Forget it Sweetie.. he is blabbering..

Rudra : If I continue to be with both of you,I won’t get my degree in business administration.. instead I will get an award for being the best goon.. One(Gauri) will beat up people and the other(Anika) will kill people by talking..

Anika and Gauri hit him and ask him to go to his class.. Anika signals something to Rudra without the knowledge of Gauri..

Rudra : (to himself) I don’t know what this girl is saying.. anyways,as of now she released me.. thank god..

SCENE – 2

Shivaay comes and om sees him..

Om : Shivaay.. where is your phone??

Shivaay : Sorry Om.. I could not hear it as I was in traffic..

Om : correction..As you were in the practicing venue..

Shivaay looks up..

Shivaay : No Om.. I just came now.. I was not feeling well and that’s why I did not come to attend special classes..

Om : Don’t lie Shivaay.. I saw your bike in bike stand…

Shivaay could not say anything.

Om : Why are you hiding things from me Shivaay?? Accept the past and work for your future yaar… How long you are going to do this??

Shivaay did not answer and he starts moving..

Om : Everytime he does this only..

He remembers the paper he got(which has Gauri’s poem) and goes to the notice board and puts up there..

He goes to his class following Shivaay

Om : Shivaay.. wait.. Why are you always afraid to work for your future??

Shivaay did not stop..

Om : I am talking to you only idiot..

Shivaay turns..

Shivaay : Don’t you know why I am afraid?? I don’t want to talk about this anymore.. If you want to talk about this,don’t talk to me..

Om feels sad.. Shivaay convinces him..

Shivaay : Sorry yaar.. I should not have talked to you like that.. Please don’t talk about this Om..

Om nods and hugs Shivaay.. Shivaay has tears in his eyes..

SCENE – 3

Anika sees Shivaay in the opposite block to her class through the window..

Anika : I have found out finally.. thank God..

She texts Rudra “ Rudy.. that ragging senior is in your department only.. I spotted him.. I will come to your block during interval.. Be ready.. We will catch him..”

No reply from Rudra..

Anika : (to herself)He might be purposefully not replying me.. I will go and talk to him in person..

After sometime,the bell rings.. a girl comes and tells Gauri..

Girl : Someone has put up a beautiful poem in the notice board.. Don’t know who has written it..

Gauri : Wow! Poem! Honey(Anika) Are you coming? Let’s go and see..

Anika : I am not interested.. You go dear.. (to herself) Thank God.. I have got time to meet Rudra..

Gauri : Ok Honey.. I will come in a few minutes..

She goes out of the class.. after she goes,Anika comes out and goes to the opposite block..

She finds out Shivaay coming out of the restroom..

Anika : (to herself) I don’t know why Rudy is late??

She calls him again.. but he did not pick up.. She is still moving..

Anika : (to herself) I have to catch him somehow..

She catches him from behind by putting her hands around his neck.. She closes his mouth with her hand and takes him under the staircase where nobody could say..
Shivaay tried to shout..

Anika : If you shout,I will kill you by strangling.. be calm..

By then Anika sees Rudy coming there.. she calls him..

He could not find from where she is calling him..

Rudra : I am hearing Anika’s voice. From where she is calling me?? Is it an illusion??

He turns around and finds them at last.

Rudra : Hey Anika.. what are trying to do?? Gonna kill that man?? Don’t do that.. Oh God. . What can I do now?? This girl will kill him and may put the blame on me.. I have to escape as soon as possible..

Anika : Idiot.. he is that senior..

Rudra : I am not ready to listen to you.. let me go.

He tries to move.. Anika comes out of the dark space..

Shivaay tries to shout for Rudy’s help.. Rudra sees Shivaay..

Rudra : Hey Grannie. Take your hands off him..

Anika : You are gonna warn him right? Do that first..

She takes her hands off Shivaay.. Shivaay coughs..

Rudra : Are you alright bhaiya??

Shivaay : (pants) I am okay..

Rudra hugs him..

Anika : Rudy. What are you doing?? He is the one who ragged Gauri..

Rudra : Shut up.. He is my senior friend..

Anika : Rudra.. I did not expect this from you idiot.. You join hands with our enemy?? Whenever you talk against us,I thought that you are just trying to irritate us.. But today I came to know your true colours..

Shivaay : ( to Rudy) Is she mad??

Rudra pouts..

Anika : Hey man! It is all because of you. I won’t leave you..

Shivaay holds Anika’s hands tightly..

Anika : Leave me..

Shivaay : You told me that you won’t leave me nah?? Now see,I won’t leave you..

By then Gauri comes there..

Gauri : Anika.. Rudra.. what happened?? Why are you here?? And who is this man??

Anika : He is the one who ragged you..

Gauri : What??

She blinks again and sees Shivaay’s face..

Gauri : Honey.. he is not the one..

Anika : Gauri.. don’t be afraid.. I am with you.. Tell me the truth.. why are you lying? Did he threaten you?.

Rudra : Are you mad?? How can anyone threaten the great GK Sharma?

Gauri gave a proud smile

Anika : Can you guys stop? Gauri.. tell me.. is is him nah??

Gauri : No honey..

Anika gets shocked.. She looks at Shivaay who was already staring at her angrily..

Anika : You told me yesterday nah? The man under the tree.. he was standing under the tree..

Gauri : Is it?? When I saw,that senior guy who ragged me was there..

Anika : You did not look back when I asked.. that is the problem .

Gauri : Yeah.. (to Shivaay) Bro.. who asked you to stand under the tree??

Shivaay looks at Rudra..

Rudra : Shivaay bhaiya.. Did you see how intelligent my friends are??(sarcastically)
The screen freezes..

Omkara : Dadi, say that this is a big lie……

Dadi : Rudra is my grandson, Om……

Tej : She can point any boy and can say that guy is her grand son……But the fact is that rudra is been adopted by your mom only…..

Jhanvi : Om, leave him……..He’s right…..

Omkara : What ??

Shivaay : Badi maa !!!

Pinky : Beta, this is true……But we never treated him like that…….When he opened his eyes he first saw jethaniji, then his world became his brothers……You and om were too small that time so you both don’t know about it……Your dadi brought him as a baby in this home…..Jethaniji feed him milk and maaji said now shivaay and om has one more brother, rudra…….We didn’t raised any question on this……He is our own son, beta….

Rudra : I am nothing , the lavish life, the atitude….which I carried from childhood is nothing…….I am not any one’s little brother, I am nothing……..I am an orphan….. An orphan…

Scene shifts to ISHKARA….

Omkara : That was the last night I saw rudra…….After that……I…..I…..[ Memories started grooving over om’s mind, Om quickly closed his eyes…… he was unable to utter any single word, his lips started getting trembling…..] 

Ishana : Om!!!

Within few seconds, Om fainted and ishu got shocked… Ishu recalled doctor’s words about the emotional side of om which can affect his brain…… She sprinkles few drops of water on Om’s face……Om slowly opened his eyes ……Ishu smiles….

Omkara : So where I stopped ??

Ishana : Om, we can talk later…..I think you need to rest well…… Tomorrow is going to be really important for us, Don’t take stress……

Omkara : Ishu, I am fine….

Ishana : Om pls…… You needs special care now……So…don’t talk much….okay??

Omkara : But!!!

Ishana : Pls om….

Omkara smiles and touches her cheek…..

Omkara : Doesn’t matter moments may last or not, but I am fortunate that I am able to open my heart and you are carrying it without any regrets , I just want to surrender myself at your lap…… May be I won’t get another chance…..

Ishana : Om!!! [ishu embraces him towards her chest] There are no barriers for our hearts , om……There  is no point of giving chance , when we realize we are in love, then every moment it just feels and it it’s unending , Om……..

Anika is arranging her hair sitting in front of the dressing table.From the bed,Shivaay is stealing glances with her.Noticing that Anika says:

-Do you want to tell something?He puts down the file.
-How is your work going?
-Good.

-I am sure you are managing well.Are you happy with the progress?Anika goes and gets in the bed.
-Why do I feel like you want to ask me something else but unable to speak.What is it Shivaay?
-Um…You are right,

-Why are you creating so suspense then?Tell it na?
-Can I have a dance with you?Anika is surprised but agrees.
-Why not?
-Thank you.

Anika offers her hand.Taking that Shivaay puts a soft kiss.They both go and stand in the middle of the room.Music plays and they start dancing:

While dancing,Shivaay asks:

-Anika,what is your take on marriage?I mean how you look at it?
-Hmm….For me marriage is a bond between two souls.It brings two completely different people together.They wave new moments,memories,gather experiences with the help of each other.In short,marriage is the most beautiful journey which two people decide to take on believing each other,in their love,together,for a life time.

-How..how about your own marriage?You don’t know how we got married so I am just curious to know how you feel about it.
-Woh toh hai.Marriage is a heavenly moment of a girl’s life and I too had dreams about it.Perhaps I was not fortunate enough to live those precious moments.But I do have alternative to relive it as I wish.

-Well,I imagine often time that I am getting married to you!
-Okay.As you are married now,how you feel about it?Do you find it boring,monotonous?

-My husband’s name is Shivaay Singh Oberoi.He is the best husband in the world.With him,there is no chance to feel otherwise.Every day feels like an eternity.
-Do you have any complaints?
-Complaints….I don’t think so.I am super happy in my married life.But let me tell you,half credit is mine no matter what blunders I make!

-Hmmmm…..Our families meet to make our relation official.Ring ceremony takes place.To give me surprise you arrange a private ring ceremony.You decorate a beautiful place and bring me there blindfolded.Freeing my eyes you thank me to give you that opportunity.
Then you go on your knees in front of me.Rose in one hand and ring in another and you propose.
When I say yes getting all excited you get up and make me wear the ring.Right next moment I jump in your arms in utter happiness.

-Then?
-We break the hug hearing the sound of clapping.Our family members are there,witnessing everything secretly.My family members bring your ring and I slip it in your finger.And…engagement is done.
-So beautiful.What happens next?

-We opt for destination wedding.We choose one place where you and me have never gone or visited.Groom’s family and bride’s family get in two places which are situated near each other.Taking a gap of few days,pre-wedding rituals start.First of all,mehandi.
I apply mehandi on my palm in your name.You come secretly to meet me to find your name but I won’t let you.You plead a lot then I agree.

-What I do then?
-You find your name and show me that you too have applied mehandi.You have made design of our couple name-SHIVIKA.
-Wow,that’s cool.Phir?

-Our sangeet takes place.Both of our family members participate in different dance competition.They dance on retro,classic,90’s special and on romantic songs of recent hit movies.Cloth dance competition gets announced.Guests who are invited to attend our marriage participate.We too join to dance.Defeating every other couple,we win and gets an expensive hamper for the win.Later when everyone falls asleep,we meet and keep on dancing,talking with each other,whole night.

-You are very romantic Anika.Do we get caught?
-You helped me to get in my room through a ladder before anyone can catch us,in the early morning.You too manage to reach your room avoiding other’s eyes.
-Thank God we got saved.Feeling very excited to know further.

-Our haldi function starts follows by the wedding.Me a smiling,blushing bride,dream about upcoming happiness,with you.You come in the disguise as a video-grapher and watch my function.To do that you postpone your own function for some time making an excuse.

Tej: I haven’t had any meetings with Rajesh since a long time.

Rajesh: Shivaay… I can understand that you are hurt and angry and you didn’t deserve any of this. You can be angry and upset with me, but don’t be angry with your mother, she didn’t do anything wrong with you, she has suffered just like you, for no mistake of hers, please don’t be angry with her.
Shivaay: Why should I listen to anything you say… Why? You weren’t there when I needed you both the most and now I have learnt to live without you both, so I don’t care whose fault it was or not, for me you both are equally at fault.
Vidhi: You are right, we both are equally at fault (Rajesh looked at her surprised)
Rajesh: Vidhi…
Vidhi: No Rajesh… Shivaay is right… I am also responsible for all this. I should have stopped you, I should have talked you out of all this but instead of all that I let you do what you did… I let you make Shivaay away from us and I blamed you for everything when it wasn’t your fault.
Dadi: Shivaay puttar… we understand that you are angry and upset… But this is not how you talk to anyone. They may have done a mistake but don’t punish them like this. They don’t deserve this and you should forgive them.
Pinky: Haa Shivaay, do you think it was easy for them to live without you all these years when they knew they have a son and still cannot have him.

Anika walked towards Shivaay and kept her hand on his shoulder,

Anika: Shivaay… I know and I understand what you are feeling, but this is not the way to deal with it. They are your parents and they have also been through the same pain that you have been in the past years. At least you lived with the fact that you had no one but look at them, they had to live with the fact that they have a son and still could not be with him.
Omkara: Haa Shivaay… Anika is right. They did a mistake and they regret it. And they deserve a second chance.
Ishana: Haa Shivaay, life is too short to hold it against people who care for us, and life is all about the decisions we take and the choices we make. Don’t make a choice in anger and take a decision that you would regret forever.
Anika: Shivaay… They did a mistake… But you please don’t make this mistake.
Jhanvi: Shivaay… Take your own time but make the right choice.
Shivaay: I need to be alone for some time.

Everyone understood this and Shivaay walked away to his room.

POOLSIDE,

Shivaay was sitting staring at the water, a thousand thoughts running through his mind,

Shivaay (thinking): So many years have passed… I don’t even remember them… I don’t have any memories with them… They may be my parents… And maybe they love me… But how can I forget everything and pretend that nothing has happened.

LIVING ROOM,

Vidhi was sitting with Pinky and Jhanvi who were consoling her,

Pinky: Vidhi, don’t worry, Shivaay is understanding and he just needs time.
Vidhi: I have got my son after so many years, I just don’t want to lose him again.

Anika comes there, Pinky and Jhanvi signal her to talk to Vidhi, Anika nods and they leave, Anika sits beside Vidhi,

Anika: Maa…

Vidhi looked at Anika with tears in her eyes, Vidhi hugged Anika tightly and started crying, Anika was taken aback but hugged Vidhi and calmed her down,

Anika: Maa… Please stop crying… Shivaay will forgive you and come back to you… He just needs some time… Please stop crying like this.
Vidhi: Anika… I don’t know how to thank you… If you had not met Rajesh… I would have never got my Shivaay back.
Anika: Maa… Please don’t say thank you… I did what is right for Shivaay and our family.

Vidhi smiled at her and placed her hand on her head,

Vidhi: Shivaay is lucky to have a wife like you and we are lucky that you are a part of our family.

POOLSIDE,

Ishana came there and saw Shivaay sitting there lost in thoughts, she went and stood beside him,

Ishana: When I had decided to forgive Dad… (Shivaay looked at her) … I was in this same situation… I did not know how to forgive him… I knew that I didn’t hate him but I was just angry, hurt and upset with him… And I knew that he is my father after all… And no one can change that fact… And I understood that I could not hold it against him forever… I have to give him a chance…
Shivaay: Your case is different Ishu…
Ishana: No Shivaay… Reasons may have been different but situation is the same… I know it is not easy but it is not difficult either… You need time and take it but don’t be late…
Shivaay: Thank you so much Ishu…
Ishana: Thank you… Really… It is not necessary that always you have to make us understand… Sometimes even we can make you understand…
Shivaay: Okay… Samajh gaya

Shivaay smiles and Ishana is relieved to see him smile.

LIVING ROOM,

Everyone was sitting in the living room thinking of what Shivaay was going to decide and waiting for his decision.

Soumya: I hope jiju makes the right decision.
Rudra: I don’t know what to say. This must be so hard for him, deciding something like this.
Soumya: I know my jiju. He is a strong man but when it comes to family, everyone has their own weaknesses.
Rudra: Don’t worry, Bhaiya will make everything fine. And when Bhabhi is there with him, we shouldn’t worry.

Soumya hugged Rudra,

Soumya: I hope so.

OTHER SIDE,

Anika was sitting waiting for Shivaay,

Anika (thinking): I have known him for years now… But I feel like I don’t know what he is going to decide… If it was for me or this family… He would not think twice before deciding… But this time it is his parents… And I don’t know what is going to happen…

She was thinking when she saw Shivaay coming down.
They all stood up and waited for Shivaay to say something, he looked at Vidhi and Rajesh, who had tears in their eyes, and then he looked at Anika, she was waiting for him to say it,

Omkara: Shivaay…
Anika: No Om… Let him say it.

Shivaay looked at everyone once and took a breath,

Shivaay: I have made my decision… (All of them looked at him) … I am ready to give you both a chance.

Everyone was happy hearing this.

Vidhi hugged Rajesh, who was shocked and happy by her behavior, after a long time, he not only got his son back, he also got the person who meant everything to him.
Anika walked to Shivaay,

Anika: I am so happy for you.
Shivaay: This would not have happened without you.

Shivaay hugged Anika.

Shivaay then walked to Vidhi and Rajesh, he looked at them and smiled, he hugged them and that was the moment they thought they would never have in their life. After years of waiting, a family was complete once again.

All of them were happy to see the three of them together.

-Wow,so many items?East,west,north,south,whole country is present on the table.
-Did you like the surprise?
-Absolutely.After all my husband cooked,for me.Thank you so much Shivaay.

-Let’s sit and eat then?
-I can’t wait.
They sit down to have breakfast.Shivaay says while eating:

-Our wedding preparation is going to start from next week.You have to be shifted in Trivedi Villa as I know Dadi won’t let us stay together until the wedding gets solemnized.They are going to come in two,three days.Anika laughs.

-It’s a ritual you know.Bride and Groom have to stay away.But I am sure you will figure out something to deal with this problem,without breaking the rules!She laughs again.
-Only you can laugh on my misery Anika.
-Sorry.

-Our family members are going to arrive soon.Sunflower Petals will be your in-law.Barat will go out from here.
-You could have chosen Mumbai too.I can travel now as doctor finally gave permission.Why you decided to get married in Delhi Shivaay?

-I want to give you a grand welcome in Oberoi Mansion.When you will put the first step inside the house being the eldest daughter-in-law of Oberoi khandan and my wife,that moment should be wonderful and memorable and I will make sure of it.
-I really don’t know what you are going to do Shivaay.
-Just wait and watch.Shivaay does his hair flick.They both laugh.He says again-

-I have a meeting today.Finishing that I will come and pick you up from your office.
-Are you planning a day out of ours?
-Something like that.

-Why?
-There is something I want you to know.We are going to start a new life and I don’t want to start it on the basis of some manipulated facts.And…….Shivaay could not finish as a house staff comes and informs that a courier boy has come.
Anika’s phone rings and she leaves to receive it.Shivaay comes in the hall.Courier boy departs taking the sign from him.

A big flower bouquet has been sent.An envelop is stuck in it.Opening it Shivaay finds a note.He starts reading:

I know you are done with me.Don’t worry,won’t take much time.
You and Anika are going to get married and I am really happy for both of you.
All I want to say that don’t forget she has lost her memory.Before that she had a different life and you did not belong there.
So,before moving ahead,do take a look at the past and clear those unsolved issues for you and Anika’s sake.
I think Anika deserves that.
Congratulations to both of you.Have a happy married life.

Sagar

Shivaay takes another look at the note in his hand then says in his mind:

“I must appreciate your timing Sagar.Well done.But you don’t know Shivaay Singh Oberoi yet.He knows what he needs to do….”

Anika comes there and asks:

-What happened?Why are you smiling that SSO special smile?
-Just like that.
-This bouquet…..

-One of your friends has sent.
-Who?
-Sagar.

-Sagar…..That person whom you asked me about?
-Yeah same.
-Mm…Have to meet him.

-He is invited by the way.
-That’s great.
-Are you ready to leave for the office?

-Yes..One second,you wanted to tell something.
-Will tell you when you and me meet,again.Anika leans on Shivaay’s shoulder and says:

-I am not feeling like going Shivaay.
-Even me too is not interested in sending you to office.But you have to wind up your work na,before our marriage?You won’t be able to work for a long time because I am going to keep you busy in many other different things.I have a long list of that!

-Is it so?
-Hmm….Yes.Now go before I change my mind.
Smiling Anika puts a cute peck on Shivaay’s cheek then takes his leave.

ANIKA’S PRIDE & DREAM

Anika is in her cabin.Busy in checking ongoing and lined-up projects.Her P.A. comes and informs that someone has come to visit her.Anika turns up at the door of the guest room:

-Sorry for making you wait.Was busy actually…..How can I help you?That person inside the room turns and he is none other than Sagar.Coming towards Anika he says:
-Hello,I am Dr.Sagar Shekhawat.
-Sagar….My friend?

-I guess so.
-I could not recognize you…..
-It’s okay.I know everything.Um…Can I have a talk with you?
-Of course.Plz sit down.They both sit face to face.Sagar starts:

-Mr.Shivaay Singh Oberoi and you are going to marry again.Our families are business partners so got the invitation.
-I am expecting you and your family in our marriage Mr.Shekhawat.
-My pleasure.But I am here to tell you something else.
-Plz go on.

-Have your husband ever told you how you two met and came into each other’s life?Before your accident specifically?
-No but…
-Have you ever asked?Anika is little irritated still says normally:

-There was no necessity of asking.We were newlyweds and came on a trip to Delhi then I met with the accident.Why are you asking like that?
Sagar stands up then turns his back on Anika.He says:

-It’s true that you met with the accident in Delhi but you were not married at that time!Anika too stands up getting shocked:
-What are you saying?Are you mad?Sagar turns to her side:

-Three months ago you were to marry someone else.But you left your marriage to meet that person whom you loved,in Mumbai.You two were in love………………………………..Shivaay took great care of you and now you two are going to get married.I am sure he has not told you anything of that missing part of your memory for your betterment of course.
But I thought you deserved to know all those before starting a new life.
Sagar finishes then looks into Anika’s eyes.Anika,who is under the spell of total disbelief,says in a firm voice:

-Why should I believe you?You can be a business rival of Shivaay or our family who wants to create rift between us deliberately.But listen to me very carefully,I trust Shivaay more than my life.You can’t fool me.So thank you so much for entertaining me with the invented,imaginary story of my own life.
You can leave now.She points at the door.

Sagar laughs a little then says:

-I knew it that you would not believe my words.That’s why I am compelled to give you proof.He makes a call.Anika says in an extreme angry voice:
-Don’t test my patience anymore.I have had enough.Just get lost!

Turning a deaf to Anika’s words Sagar puts the phone on speaker.He asks the opposite person:
-Anika is not believing what I have said to her about her and Shivaay’s relation.Can you verify my words?A woman’s voice speaks:

-“Whatever Dr.Shekhawat said are true and I can vouch for it”

Anika,who is seething in anger says:

-Who are you?You want me to believe that you know Shivaay more than me?I don’t trust your words.
-You will when I will tell you who I am and who am I to Shivaay.
-Who are you?
-I am Pinky Shakti Singh Oberoi,mother of Shivaay Singh Oberoi!

“Mother of Shivaay Singh Oberoi” gets echoed in her ears.Anika feels there is no strength left in her body as an acute numbness overpowers it.Her gaze turns blank and she stands unmoved.There Pinky continues:

-“I don’t know what magic you have got that my son is not ready to hear me out.I told him many times to put aside this obsession but he never listened.
Till you were his responsibility I told nothing.But now he wants to bring you in my house making you my daughter-in-law?
I won’t let that happen at any cost.My son will marry the girl I choose.
I did not want to do this but had to because I had no other option.I am requesting you,plz,spare my son.
Now,e
ven after knowing everything if you want to go with this alliance,I have nothing to say……….”

Phone gets disconnected.Looking at Anika,Sagar could not utter anything.He leaves the room in silence.
After a long time someone knocks at the door and she gets her senses back.She was unaware that she was crying all these time holding her nuptial chain,silently.
Anika pulls herself together and comes outside the office then gets in the car.

Driver comes but she refuses him.Taking a deep breath she takes the steering wheel in her hands.
Anika catches a look of herself in the inside mirror of the car.She says in her mind:

“Let’s see,who is going to win today.Anika Vardhan Trivedi yeah Anika Shivaay Singh Oberoi.No matter what happens,one has to lose,once and for all…..”

Car moves on.

RECAP : Anika encounters shivaay and accuses him to be the senior who ragged Gauri. Gauri came to her rescue while Rudy adds fuel to the fire

SCENE – 1

The episode starts with Shivaay holding his head..

Gauri : Mr. Whatever! Why did you stand under that tree? That created misunderstanding..

Shivaay looks at Rudra.

Rudra : Bhaiya.. can you feel my pain? Everyday both of them torture me like this only.. Today you are caught..

Anika : Gauri.. He is trying to create misunderstanding between us.. (pointing to Shivaay)

Shivaay : What the hell is going on here man! I don’t understand.. I don’t even know who you are. Why am I going to create misunderstanding between you? This is ridiculous..

Anika : Yes.. You are right.. You don’t know who we are.. but I think you know this differ Rudy before itself.. He might have paid you to create misunderstanding.

Rudra : I knew that they will make me the villain at last..

Shivaay : Are you both mad or acting like mad?

Gauri realises something..

Gauri : Honey..(Anika) I think the mistake is ours.. (to Shivaay) Mr. Whatever! Oh sorry.. U are the senior right? Mr. Innocent senior bhaiya.. the mistake was ours.. sorry for the inconvenience.

Shivaay glared at Anika.. Gauri notices it..

Gauri : innocent senior bhaiya.. you want my friend to apologize,isn’t it? She will do..

Anika looked at her..

Gauri : Do it nah honey..

Anika : Senior sir.. I am sorry. I tortured you a lot. I misunderstood you. Sorry. Please forgive me.

Rudra : Bhaiya.. don’t forgive her.. give her some punishment.

Anika and Gauri stare at him..

Shivaay : Do you think so Rudy? How can I not fulfill your wish? I will punish her.. what punishment can I give her??

He thinks..

Shivaay : Ok.. Whenever you see me,you have to come and tell me “ I am an idiot.. I am a stupid.. I was a fool and I am sorry”. Even if I am with any person..

Rudra : What a punishment bhaiya!! Well done!

Anika looks at him with burning eyes..

Anika : I can’t.. If you want,I can say it now.. only once..

Shivaay : How can I accept that?? You tried to kill me strangling my neck.. It is hurting till now.. You have to pay it back..

Anika : I am extremely sorry.. I have done the greatest mistake in my life.. Please leave me..

Shivaay : How can I? No way..

Anika looks at Gauri for a second..

Anika : Ok.. done.. I and my friend Gauri will come and tell you whatever you asked us to whenever we meet you..

Gauri gets shocked..

Gauri : What?? Why are you dragging me into this?

Anika : Because of you only,I am caught in this…

Gauri : Did I ask you to do all these?? (To Shivaay) Bhaiya.. tell me.. Do you want me to do all these?

Shivaay : No.. You are not directly involved in this.. And moreover you look like my younger sister.. How can I punish you??

He acts dramatically like crying..

Gauri : Bhaiya.. I too have a feeling like you are my elder brother..

She too acts.. Anika gets angry on seeing this..

Rudra : Wah! I have not seen such brother and sister relationship anywhere..

Anika : Mr.Senior.. I will do whatever you asked me to.. now I am leaving.. and Gauri.. don’t talk to me hereafter..

She moves angrily..

Gauri : Bhaiya.. I have to convince her.. Bye..

She goes behind Anika..

Rudra : Bhaiya.. somehow you have done good to me.. If both of them are together,they will make me suffer.. now they have fought. I can be free.. Ok.. bye bhaiya..

He too leaves. Shivaay smiles..

SCENE – 2

Gauri : Honey.. please stop..

Anika : Don’t talk to me.. You know? I did all these for you only.. But you___..

Gauri : I know dear.. But..

Anika : Stay away from me..

Gauri : Look.. just think about what you have done.. I can’t control laughing…

She laughs.. Anika stared..

Gauri : If it were any other person other than Shivaay bhaiya,he would have slapped you hard for what you have done.. seems like he is a good guy.. that’s why he has given a little punishment.. that too on the recommendation of our enemy Rudy..

Anika thinks..

Anika : Yes.. what he has given as punishment is little when compared to what I did nah?? I am really embarassed . I should not have strangled him..

Gauri laughs.. Anika grins..

Anika : Ya.. it was my mistake.. But this punishment. How can I say whenever I meet him??

Gauri : Don’t worry.. he is my big brother.. I will talk to him and reduce the punishment..

Anika : Please dear.. But I don’t want to see him anymore.. If I see him again,I will die out of embarassment..

Gauri : Don’t worry.. we will talk to him.. He is very nice..

Anika : Oh God.. please help me..

SCENE – 3

Gauri goes to the notice board.. She is surprised to see her poem pasted on the notice board..

Gauri : (to herself) I wrote it in the morning.. How did it come here??

She checks her bag..

Gauri : (thinks)I think I have lost the paper somewhere and someone has put it here.. How sweet he or she is! He/She could have torn and thrown it into the dustbin.. else could have eaten samosa keeping it on this paper.. But he/she has put it in the notice board instead.. I am really impressed..

She finds a note at the bottom in which the principal has asked the author of the poem to meet him..

Gauri : Do I have to go and meet him??

She enters into the principal’s office.. she finds 10 boys and girls standing there claiming that it was written by them..

Gauri : How bad they are? Chi.. Stealing others works.. Are not they ashamed?

The principal was sitting in confusion.. Gauri steps forward..

Gauri : Sir.. The poem was originally written by me. I lost it somewhere and someone has put it in the notice board.. You can check my handwriting and I stopped the poem mid way since my friend called me.. I was thinking these lines to write after it..

She recites the rest of the poem.. the principal is impressed..

Principal : Actually.. I was thinking to give an important responsibility for the author of this poem.. These guys(pointing to the fake authors) wanted that position and are claiming that they wrote it.. but now I can say that you are the real author.. You are appointed as the president of the poetry club of our college..

Gauri is surprised..

Gauri : Thank you sir..

Principal : Hope you will create changes.. All the best..

Gauri thanks him again and comes out.. She feels very happy. She shares her happiness with Anika.. She too feels happy for Gauri..

SCENE – 4

Its evening.. The professor had told Gauri that one junior guy will come and see her.. he also asked her to help him with writing and both of them have to submit some poems for the college weekly magazine..

Om comes out from his class..

Om : (to himself) I want to know who is the girl who wrote that poem which I put in the notice board..

He asks a girl near the notice board..

The girl : (pointing to Gauri,who was standing showing her back) She is the one..

Om wants to appreciate her.. He goes near her..

Om : Hello..

On hearing someone calling her,she turns..

Gauri : Hello.. What do you want?

Om is surprised to see Gauri there.. He is mesmerized.

Om : Hello.. Are you the one who wrote the poem??

Gauri : Yes..

Om : (thinks) Can she write poems too?. That day,I saw her brave side.. Today I see her poetic side.. the beautiful side.. which I love..

On seeing him silent,Gauri raises her eyebrows and asks what..

Om : Nothing.. just came to ____

Before he could finish,Gauri started..

Gauri : Oh.. You are the junior guy,right?

Om could not understand anything and he just nods on seeing her authoritative tone..

Gauri : Professor asked me to help you in writing.. By the way, I am Gauri Kumari Sharma.. President of poetry club..

She forwards her hand..

Om : I am Om.. Omkara Kapoor.. Just a poor student..

Gauri : Poor student?? (Laughs)

Both of them shake hands..

Gauri : You are no more a poor student.. Come.. Let’s start writing..

Both of them start writing poems.. But Om is lost in her..

Mahender says it was our ancestor’s land and i will not be quiet. Pramod says Bhai we will complaint to Police they will take care. Jagdeesh says you stop it and don’t interfere when we elders discuss.

Oberoi Mansion

Shivaansh was sleeping and some girl was shown and she entered into his room and asks him to wake up. It was too late. He wake up and says Good Morning. The girl face revealed(Mannat) with Sindhoor and manglasutra. He hold his hand and says you are looking so beautiful today and slowly he drags her and try to kiss. She find water jug beside and throw at his face and says Dream was over now get up. Shivaansh get up suddenly and checks water on him (no water on him) and thinks what just happened. Such a dream, that girl in my dream. Shivaansh be careful and this dream will never turn into real.

At Dining table Dadi asks where is Bittu, everyone was here. Dhruv says I don’t know Bhai will get up early every day. Sundari was eating breakfast and Prem says what was that Nani. She says it was poori and shows Poori. He says if you eat this much Oil food. She says it was not oil and Pure ghee and says to him have it and serve on his plate. He tries to say something; she says I used to make such food to your dad when he was kid. He eats those and became clever. Sahil looks at her. While others are laughing. Sundari turns to Shivani, she says I’m on diet Nani give all your love to Your Prem. She looks at him and he makes a face and looks at Shivani while she was laughing. Shivaansh comes there and wishes good morning. Dadi asks you are late today bittu, he thinks about dream and says nothing Dadi. He looks at Prem Plate and asks you are eating these. Shivani says Nani says it was healthy , do you wanna try it. She says Yes Beta and try to offer him, but Shivaansh looks at her , she says ok he was hero and he have his diet plan. You eat Prem Beta. Radhika whispers and says Prem will become Balloon if he eat like these. They all laugh.

Dadi asks them to come home early at evening as they are going to temple. Prem says temple Dadi . gauri was icing a cake with pink icing when her youngest child and only daughter ran in the kitchen, hiding behind her.

gauri: now what happened?

she kept the icing knife down and turned to face a little girl with fair skin, hair so thick, cascading down your delicate skin like midnight waves on a sandy beach and her eyes the colour of dark chocolate with flecks of hazel nut.

girl whispering: mummy, hide me somewhere

gauri smiled and then whispered: where and why?

girl whispering: uff! I have to explain everything! riom bhaiya is after my life.

gauri whispering: why is that?

girl whispering: I accident broke his laptop.

gauri gave her a soft yet stern look whispering: badmash!

girl whispering: name calling later! hide me!!!!!!!

gauri: accha theek hai.

she looks around and sees a kitchen cabinet big enough to fit a 5 yet to be 6 year old girl.

gauri whispering: hide in there, I will leave the door opened a bit ok?

the girl nodded and did as she was told. once gauri did as she said, she started to complete icing the cake and then riom came in.

riom: mum have you seen omira omkara singh oberoi?!

gauri: no and why are you using her full name?

riom: she is in trouble mum. she broke my laptop and i had a presentation on it.

gauri: really?

riom: haan. now tell me where she is.

gauri: that i don’t know but what i know is that your shivay uncle can get it fix.

riom: thanks goodness he breaks phones not laptops.

riom: hmmm thankfully. now go and leave ira alone. i know she is naughty but she will soon know your and your brothers’s feelings in a few months.

riom: oh yeah she will! then we’ll be the ones laughing.

gauri: accha leave her alone now, and finish off your maths.

riom: fine.

he goes from the kitchen and gauri says: ira, come out!

the little girl a.k.a omira, well better known as ira, frees herself from the cabinet and runs up to her mother saying: mummy, what happen in few months?

gauri: well ira, that’s a surprise and i will tell you on your birthday!

ira: tell me now.

she does a sad pout and big puppy eyes, but gauri didn’t melt for papa’s ladli. she bent to ira’s height and pulled her cheek lightly and said: aww mera baccha! just like your papa, always so impatient. if i tell you now, then it won’t be a surprise. you know how special surprises are. patience is bitter, but its fruit is sweet.

ira: ok fine. i’ll wait.

gauri smiled and stood up: good girl. now go and play.

ira nods and goes from the room, whilst gauri continued icing the cake. once done. she kept it in the fridge and went upstairs where she found her jatadhari hippy in his art studio. she chupka chupka goes in as he was peacefully sitting sketching and then backhugged him. you could see om smiling, then he kept the pencil done and held her left hand, kissed it and then kissed her wedding ring.

om: so ira’s cake all done?

gauri: haan. kyunki those stupid cake people wouldn’t do it, then i had to do it.

om: true.

gauri: also aapka pyaari se ladli got herself in another mess.

om: matlab?

gauri: she decided to break riom’s laptop, and then riom got angry.

om: oh? my ladli would never do such a thing. she is such a good girl.

gauri: hmmm, good girl? very questionable. you spoiled her.

om: then explain our three sons! they got spoiled by you only.

gauri: shut up. at least my team is stronger!

om looked at her and she smiled innocently. then somehow he managed to get her from behind his chair to on his laps.

om huskily: oh really? fine maybe i only got one member in my team, but (he gently bite her lobe) i will have a new member in 7 months.

he kept his hand on gauri’s stomach, both smiling.

gauri: and tomorrow ira will finally know.

both laughed thinking of the painful yet memorable moments.

gauri: she gets interested in the TV serials and she asked me to put her in an acting club.

om: really?

gauri: haan. accha forget all this, i have to see if kids did their homework.

she got up but then she ended up back on om’s laps.

om: don’t leave yaar. if you leave, then who can i romance?

gauri: accha? now you want to do romance?

om nibbled her earlobe and then suck a spot on her neck. he then used one hand and kept a strand of gauri’s hair behind her ear and the other hand was around her waist. the two just looked at each other lovingly. om leaned to lock her lips in hers but then they heard footsteps in the room. gauri stood up and both turned to see ira.

ira walked up and said: daddy, help me open up chocolate.

om: of course meri jaan.

he took the chocolate from her and opened it, then took a small bite and gave it back to her.

ira: uff daddy, why you eat my chocolate?

om: kyunki iru, i was craving dark chocolate, and me and you have the same tastes just you like lots of sweet things.

gauri gave a disgust look as both father-daughter loved dark chocolate.

ira: oh okie! and mummy no make that face!

om: yeah mummy! listen to ira!

gauri rolled her eyes lovingly and let out a little chuckle seeing the father-daughter duo ganging up on her.

Naitik Akshara enjoyed a lot with their twin grand children.

Oberois and Sharmas had a get together.Naitik Akshara were always with their 4 grand children.

Gauri:Maa papa are becoming kids with the little kids.

Mannat talks to Deepak that i have seen notice board there will be college fest in few days. Rachna says wow i want to take part in Dance.

One director narrates story for Shivaansh about full action picture. After narration he says good one we will start working together. He
thinks that this movie was very important to me and i will prove to that girl i am best at everything. Khanna comes to Shivaansh and he
asks what is your opinion. He asks me, Story was good but upto now you have done all romantic genre now suddenly action, audience will
not accept from this you and he was début director and producers will not take risk. He asks i know he is début but i like his narration skills
and i have seen confidence his eyes. If any producer will not come we will start production house. Khanna asks what? Yeah we will start
new one.Khanna says we think we will start from next year with low-budget movies. Shivaansh says it will be ok and it was just back up plan
if producers are not going totakr risk. Khanna thinks Sihvaansh plan this Production company next year .Now he was starting with this film.

Manjari comes to Dadi and they talk about Sundari. Manjari says sorry Dadi i was invited her, but i don;t know she will talk all about this
even Sahil also said to me keep distance fom her. Dadi says its ok. it was not your mistake and you think about good that she will be happy
to meet her grand children.Sahil comes there and asks what happened they say nothing and we are talking something. Sahil says i listen
Sundari Mami he asks if she says anything amd looks at Manjari. She says nothing. Dadi says arey Pagala you are asking your Dadi.
Sahil says nothing like that i know about her if she cause any trouble let me now. Dadi says arey i raise my kids and this all empire and
you think i can;t handle her. He laughs and says i now my Dadi wad strongest women in world and hugs her. She says ok no need of
this Praising.

Mannat thinks next time was last time i will meet him and i will give this to him and look at sacred thread. In car Shivaansh thinks
about Mannat.

it is kinda similar to the pari track but with a twist. also the pari track never happened here.

living room:
dadi was flicking through some photo albums with the entire family (expect gauri), anya on her laps.

anya: dadi, yeh kaun hai?

dadi: that is my little anya.

anya: me? arre mera teeth kaha hai?!

dadi: you didn’t have any then.

anya: really?

dadi: haan.

anika: accha guys, have anyone seen where gauri is?

om: last i checked, she was taking a shower.

anika: for that long?

om: do you want me to check again?

anika: yeah. family time is nothing without her.

om: ok i’ll check then.

om stood up and went upstairs.

rikara’s room:

gauri was on the bed along with a wooden chest. she took some teddies out of there and smiled seeing them. tears stung her tears as she kept the teddies aside and took some baby clothes out. they were baby pink with little bunnies and butterflies on them. she kissed them. the tears burst forth like water from a dam, spilling down her face. she felt the muscles of her chin tremble like a small child.

gauri: i could write a million letters, each one the same as the last in sentiment and cadence. they stay the same, only the word arrangement changes. it boils down to one thing, i miss you. you should be here. ultimately, no one knows if that is selfish or not and even if it is, to hell with the rest of the world and their opinions. you should be here. i miss you baby girl. i miss you meri jaan. i can’t believe…ki…ki i never got to see you.

om came to the door and saw gauri crying. he then saw her holding the baby clothes and ran to her, hugging her tight. she sobbed into his chest unceasingly, hands clutching at his jacket. he held her in silence, rocking him slowly as her tears soaked his chest. a tiny lapse let her pull away, blinking lashes heavy with tears.

om: shh! shh! put them away ok? even i miss her too. i wish i could have seen her once.

gauri: me too. i wasn’t with everyone else kyunki…kyunki most of anya’s pictures were during my pregnancy.

she cried again, om wiped her tears, holding back his own. he kissed her forehead and tried to get the baby clothes from gauri but her grip was too strong.

om: you need to let you gauri. we can plan for another child, you know that right? the doctors said that you can get pregnant again.

gauri: i carried her….i carried her for seven months and the result? my heart…my heart is missing an integral piece, a part that keeps it from working correctly. how can i let go? i know that she is alive. she has to be alive! i heard her cry! I HEARD HER CRY MR OMKARA SINGH OBEROI!

she grabbed his jacket tight, anger and grief so visible on her face and in her eyes.

om: shh..

he stroked her hair, calming her down and made her lie down. she slowly managed to sleep and om took the clothes from her and packed it along with the teddies in the chest and kept the chest on the top shelf in their cupboard.

their baby daughter…they were so excited for the arrival of their little princess. they created a little room for her, surrounded by teddies and it was painted pastel pink decorated with white bunnies. they brought so many baby clothes for her and every night, when gauri was pregnant, om would take time to talk to his little princess in gauri’s womb about the rules of boys. gauri was early for the delivery. it has been 6 months since that fateful day when the baby died as soon as gauri gave birth to it. they were not even allowed to see their baby’s dead body. ever since that day, gauri constantly blames herself for the baby’s death when it was never her fault, and to rub salt into her wounds tej and pinky would mention the dead baby one too many times in front of gauri. om was deeply upset with the loss of their symbol of love, but he promised himself that he wouldn’t break down in front of gauri. he had to keep strong in front of her because her mental health was deeply affected. there had been times when she attempted to commit suicide, but luckily om or anika saved her from it. gauri had turn into a lifeless soul. she doesn’t even watch salman khan anymore. it takes hours to make her eat one bite. they tried to get a therapist for her but that backfired. now om was taking care of his wife with some help from his family.

he looked at his wife sleeping and wiped his tears rolling from his eyes.

om: how long do i have to stay strong? i really want to break down and cry but…but i can’t. i have to stay strong for my princess and gauri at least.

he sat on the chair, got a sketchbook out and a pencil, starting to sketch something out as he kept an eye on gauri. just then anika came up and said: om, what happened? you looked more stressed than before.

om: it’s gauri’s health bhabhi. i am really scared for her. gauri….she is in so much pain. her eyes have frozen over like the surface of a winter puddle, robbing them of their usual warmth. she’s in there, i know it, but it’s like she just took a huge step back from life. i want to reach in and tell her it isn’t hopeless, but she won’t believe me. i want to rekindle her heat but her insides are too damp with uncried tears. i always knew she had pain inside, but now its visible on her face and I wish it would go away. i know that’s a selfish want, people have a right to their pain, they don’t ask for it – it just arrives like the gift you never wanted.

he hugged anika crying and anika said: i know how much you want her to heal. i also know that you are breaking down inside but you are keeping strong for gauri at least. just remember one thing om, w hen the darkness overpowers you, hold on to the last of the light and know that when it is gone you held on. you can survive in the dark. when you burn, rise from the ashes;  then you have done what no one else will and through the pain you can stand up when others stay down.

om didn’t say anything, just hugged anika since he was so upset. anika was too upset for her little sister. she was madly affected by the tragedy. anika knew that it would affect her the most since she was the one who carried the baby, but she never thought it would affect her so much that it would come to self harm. she, like the others, were hoping for a miracle.

what she didn’t know, a miracle was about to happen.

…

the next day:

the doorbell rang, the obros, somu and anika went to get the door only to find no one till rudy looked down and said: hey guys, there is a basket with a….a baby?!

everyone else: what?!

somu: what new nonsense are you on about? you watch too many movies.

rudy: no i am serious look down.

shivay: guys let’s just look down and prove him wrong.

somu: good idea.

they all looked down and were shocked. a basket tied with a pink ribbon and in there, was a pink blanket and on that pink blanket was the most cutest thing you have ever seen in your life:

she wasn’t wearing anything but a nappy and was putting her fingers in her mouth as she cluelessly looked around.

everyone: awww.

omru bent down, om picked the baby up whilst rudy picked a white note up.

as om held the baby,  the baby looked at him and gave a very small smile that warmed his heart. her eyes were rich chocolatey brown, her skin was the colour of an ice-cream wafer. she was so light and om’s soul warmed up seeing the baby.

anika: rudy what does it say in the note? you have been staring at it for ages.

rudy: it says ‘this baby’s father is one of the obros’.

shivom: WHAT?!

rudy: haan!

anika and somu: kya?!

rudy: that’s what it says na.

anika: shivay! we already have a daughter, how could you go and find another woman to have a baby with?! huh?!

shivay: anika, i swear on my life darling. the only woman i ever got pregnant was you. i mean it. i swear on anya’s life.

anika: fine i believe you and don’t you dare swear on anya!

shivay: ok chill.

somu: this baby looks around about 6-7 months, rudy 7 months ago you were with romi right? so obviously it is your daughter with that witch romi!

rudy: somu i swear it isn’t my baby. i am too young to be a dad. it’s my age to party, not to change diapers.

somu: oh please! we all know you so well! only you can have a mystery baby.

he fake cried and everyone said: shut up rudra.

well all expect om.

anika: om, what happened? you look really shocked.

om: call a doctor.

somu: kya?

om: guys call a doctor, this baby has a fever!

all: what?!

om: enough with ‘what’! call a doctor right now!

shivay: ok we will. meanwhile change her into some clothes.

om nods and goes upstairs with the baby in his arms and went into his and gauri’s room where gauri was sitting on the bed, looking so lifeless. but the minute she saw om carrying a baby, she said: omkaraji, a baby? where from?

om: she was at our doorstep. that’s all i can say at the moment, please can you hold her for two minutes whilst i get a dress for her?

gauri nods and om gave her the baby. at first gauri nearly dropped the baby because the grief of losing hers was so strong, but then she kept a firm yet soft grip on the baby. the baby smiled at her. the baby’s smile just seemed so genuinely sweet with just the right touch of shyness that unexpected warmth rushes through gauri. for the first time in 6 months, gauri gave a small smile. small but a smile nevertheless. as soon as she smiled, om turned facing her and the baby. he was so surprised yet happy seeing his wife smiling after so long. he went towards the bed and asked: please may i change the baby into this dress?

gauri: i…i want to do it please.

om: fine but careful.

gauri: i will be.

she took the dress from him and gently dressed the baby in a stripy baby blue and white dress. she looked so cute in it. just then the doctor came along with everyone in the family.

pinky: shivay, anika whos baby is this?

anika: right now we don’t know, but we will find out soon.

pinky: oh ok.

the doctor checked the baby and then said: this baby looks as if it hasn’t been cared for, hence she has a fever. thanks goodness you called me before it got worse. she will be fine, just feed her and keep a cold pad on her head.

om: of course doctor. um how old is she?

doctor: six months.

om: accha theek hai. thank you doctor.

doctor: i will go now.

somu: i’ll escort you to the door.

the doctor nods and they both go, whilst everyone surrounded the baby who was still in gauri’s arms. gauri was smiling looking at the baby sleeping in her arms.

pinky: oh my mata! shivay, take baby from her! she has no experience with a baby, you and anika do.

shivay: mum, listen. let gauri and om spend time with the baby.

pinky: kyu?

shivay took her to the corner and said: look mum, gauri has been in a terrible state for ages. for the first time in six months, we are seeing her smile. yes it may be small but she is still smiling. let her experience some happiness because maybe someone related to the baby will come back to take the baby from her. for now, let her be happy.

pinky: fines, but i still think she incapable of taking care of a child.

shivay: leave her alone mum.

pinky: fines!

a little while later, everyone was told to leave leaving rikara and the little baby.

gauri: omkaraji…six months…six months we were…we were told that our baby is dead. but…but i heard a baby cry that day.

om: gauri, i told you it was your imagination. the baby unfortunately passed away.

gauri: but i heard her cry omkaraji!

om: gauri, right now you are not in a proper state of mind. take medicine and sleep!

gauri: but i heard her cry, i mean it! i heard her cry…could this baby be….her?

om looked at her and lost it: GAURI!!! I KEEP TELLING YOU THAT THE BABY DIED! I TOO DON’T WANT TO ACCEPT BUT UNFORTUNATELY LIFE IS TOO BITTER!!! I MISS HER AS MUCH AS YOU DO BUT I DON’T BREAK DOWN IN FRONT OF YOU! YOU KNOW I DON’T! GAURI! TELL ME THIS LOGIC THEN! IF YOU HEARD HER CRY, THEN HOW COME THE DOCTORS WOULDN’T SHOW US HER?! BOLO!

gauri looked at him, upset and om kept his hand on his mouth guilty and shocked by what he said. the baby started to cry.

om: let me handle her.

gauri: don’t you dare! just stay away from me and her! fine she is not my daughter but what was the need to say this?! just get out!

om knew that her anger was justified so silently he left the room, holding back his tears. she was really heartbroken and he made it worse with his outburst.

that night:

gauri was sleeping and the baby was sleeping next to her. gauri had her hand around the baby and the little baby was smiling in her sleep. om entered to see two beautiful angels sleeping. he went closer to them and caressed gauri’s face and saw the baby smiling.

om: you must be having beautiful dreams right? that’s why you are smiling. maybe you have seen a fairy? baby, i am sorry for yelling at gauri. you know that lady who had you in her arms for ages. i am sorry. i know you are probably angry at me like she is. i don’t yell usually, very rarely i do and unfortunately today was one of those days. all i just want to say is sorry.

he kisses her forehead and then kisses gauri’s forehead.

She explained the problem ” I’m scareds Mene boldiya me uski madad karungi par mujhe nahi pata iss ek gante mein Mai kese cake Ko prepares karke kese bejdungi ( I’m scared I told I’ll help her but I don’t know how I’ll prepare cake within one hour & how will send her )
Jhanvi – pinky you forgot one thing
Pinky – kya ??
Jhanvi – SaaS le ( take a deep breath ) just calm down ( pinky does the same )
Jhanvi – problem is there but not a big one I’ll help you infact we both will complete this work you prepare the cake I’ll deliver it simple
Pinky – par ifs Anu gets angrys on you thou
Jhanvi – no I’ll handle her it’s not a big deal ok get the cake ready fast fast

Somu & Jhanvi reached celebrity’s home , Anika reached out of the function area she ordered two peoples to take the cake inside

After the two peoples take the cake inside she turned towards Somu ” laddu kya tha hey tum aur badi ma kudko kyu takleef diya tum dono Ney , aur tum laddu tu bhi arey( laddu what is this you & badi Mom hurting yourself , even you laddu ) if I’m not wrong you have reached home just then you both have bought the cake without second thought right …

Saumya – par di …( But sister ..)

Anika – mere baath khatam nahi Hui, badi ma aap bhi arey AAP time par khana & dawai Lena chaiyea , AAP muje phone karna tho chaiyeai ( I didn’t finished yet badi ma even you , you should eat timely & take medicine atleast you should have called me & informed me ) I would arranged & I would have sent servants to Collect the cake ,even I called you both imideatly when Pinky ma informed me but you both didn’t picked up my calls ….

Jhanvi kept her fingers on Anika’s mouth ” shushhh”
Jhanvi – o god how much do you talk my dear Jhansi ki Rani , arey you should allow us to speak then only we may explain you the reason ,you are just like pinky non stop talking , bechara mere beta aur mere devar , kaise jaile they tum dono Ko ( I donno how my brother in law & my son bears you both )
Anika makes a pout
Jhanvi pulled her cheeks & continued ” Pinky was preparing cake already it was late it would take long time so why not I thought I would bring the cake on the time when I was coming out ”
Saumya – stop ma I’ll tell from there I came then I thought why not I would bring the cake without any damages , see since ma cant drive by holding the cake , according to the research done by Cambridge University the 90 % of the girls do not accept that they are in need of help so I argued with her & finally see I won & take her with me see ( by looking with a proud eyes as if she had achieved a big thing )
Jhanvi & Anika chukled “our old laddu is back”
Just then Anika noticed a familiar car was standing there for a little long time , she then remembered that it was her pyari devar & said
Anika – badi ma someone close to us followed you both
Jhanvi – what what are you talking I don’t understand

Saumya & Jhanvi takes Anika’s Champa by leaving Somu’s Activa
They leave from there , they know that OmRu are following them so they go another route OmRu was following them , they go to a park, they are waiting for someone
Om – what they are doing here ??

Rudy – to sleep arey they came here to relax
Om – duffer that they can do in the home itself , something is fishy
Ru calls him

Om & Ru were stunned by seeing the scene
They see Saumya & Jhanvi hugging a person wearing hoods , ( Om Ru have seen only the back of that person  ) after they spent half & hour with that person Jhanvi & Saumya returned home, Om Ru also returned after an hour discussing the one they witnessed with Shivaay , all the three came home to confront their respective partners & Moms

Here finally our Anu got success in her work her boss Ms Anuradha ask her to come & meet her the following day morning @ 9:30 Am

SCENE -1

Omkara is in his room.. He thinks of Gauri..

“Why did I say yes when she asked me whether I am the junior student for whom she was waiting? I don’t know what made me say so.. To be honest,I was just mesmerized when she spoke to me. Actually,I was surprised on knowing that she wrote that amazing poem.. And she is amazing too.. She was daring and bossy that day.. but today she was very soft and kind.. And she writes poems too!! That is a weird combination.. But I like it.. to be frank,I like her.. I can do anything to see her daily.. I need not worry anymore.. I have got a reason to meet her everyday.. That is enough for me.. But… Am I cheating her? I should have told her that I was not the one for whom she was waiting.. I should have been honest.. (thinks) But… Everything is fair in love and war’,isn’t it? So being dishonest is not a big thing.. I am doing this only to get a glance of her everyday.. that is ok.. SCENE – 2

The next morning..Rudra returns from a mall. He comes to the parking lot to take his bike.

Rudra sings “Aaja doob jaaun teri aankhon ke ocean mein
Slow motion mein…” and tries to take his bike which is parked amidst many bikes..He did not look back and hits the other bike in which a person was still sitting looking for a place to park the bike..

On hearing the sound,he turns to see..

Rudra : (to himself)Rudy boy! Do you know what you have done? You sang ‘slow motion’ and you should have taken the bike in slow motion too.. But you did not do so and see you have hit him.. Hmm.. Find some way to convince him..

The person too gets down from the bike still in his helmet and comes towards Rudra..

The person : Hello.. Uncleji! Go and visit an eye doctor.. If you delay even more,then you will lose your sight completely..

Rudra : What?? To whom are you talking?

The person : Am I mad like you to talk to myself?

Rudra : When did I talk to myself?

The person : Before a minute.. You said something like ‘slow motion’

Rudra : (to himself) I want to see who it is! (To the person) Sorry.. but why did you call me uncle? And first remove your helmet..

She removes her helmet.. and her brown hair falls down.. she is Saumya..Rudra sees her in surprise and his mouth opens wide..

Rudra : You are that aunty right? Whom I met in college..

Saumya : Yes Uncleji..

Rudra : Don’t call me uncle..

Saumya : That depends upon your words.

Rudra : Ok aunty..Sorry..

Saumya stares and Rudra bites his tongue..

Rudra : Sorry “mad”- am(madam).. what can I do for you?

Saumya : I am not mad.. ok? Don’t call me with your name..

Rudra : (To himself) She isiso sharp..(to Saumya) Sorry.. I agree.. I am mad.. so tell me… what can I do for you??

Saumya : See… you have damaged my bike..

Rudra : That’s another shock!! Did you drive this bike??

Soumya : I think you have lost your eyesight.. Did not you see me getting down from this bike??

Rudra : Yes.. But… I can’t believe that you are driving this big bike.. actually, I can’t control my laughter..

He controls laughing..

She stares at him..

Rudra : Ok ok.. I will give you money for repairing this bike..

Soumya : Look.. I don’t need your money.. Go and visit an opthalmologist with that money.. I forgive you..

She tries to move..

Rudra : Hello.. There are two white hairs in your forehead..

Saumya gives a confused expression..

Rudra : Don’t get confused… I am just trying to prove that my eyesight is fine…

Saumya : Those are not white hairs.. it appears white because of reflection of light (physics student),you know?

Rudra : Whatever! How much will it take to repair your bike?

Saumya : 3000 rupees…

Rudra : What!! It needs only 1500 to repair this.. don’t try to cheat me..

Saumya : I know.. but you have wasted my time.. and you have called me aunty.. so this extra money..

Rudra : This is too much..

Saumya : Then agree that you have lost your sight and use the money for your treatment..

Rudra : No no.. I will give you money..

He takes his purse and sees.. he has only 1000 rupees..

Rudra : (to himself) Rudy.. this girl is going to insult you again.. Manage with your tactics.. (to Saumya) Sorry.. I have only 1000 rupees..

Saumya : Ok.. Give me.. I will get the remaining later..

Rudra : (to himself) This girl is a miser I think.. She could have reduced the amount for my words and behaviour.. but she is not doing it..

He gives the money to her and she gets it..

Rudra : Actually.. I use cards only.. that’s why I don’t have cash..

He grins.. Saumya too grins..

Saumya : Ok.. Give me your number.. I will call and ask you whenever I need money..

Rudra gives his number.. she saves it in her mobile..

Rudra : Do you want to know my name??

Saumya : Why??

Rudra : To save my number..

Saumya : Not needed.. Uncleji is enough..

By saying that,she parks her bike and goes..

Rudra : this Auntyji is getting on my nerves..

SCENE – 3

At college..

Anika sees Shivaay at a distance with a guy..

Anika : (to herself) Oh God.. I saw him morning itself.. This day is not going to be fine for me.. (thinks) So what Anika?? You saw him but he did not.. it is good for you.. Go as if you too did not see him..

She goes casually and sees him from the corner of her eye every now and then..

Anika : (to herself) Very good Anika.. He did not see you till now.. keep it up..

She moves forward making sure that shivaay had not seen her till then..

She bumps into a strict old professor and all of his books fall down and he too stumbles
Anika holds his hand and makes him stand..

Anika : I am sorry sir

The professor looks at her with burning eyes…

Anika : (to herself) He is gonna kill you now.. Say something and apologize to him..(to the professor) Sir.. I am extremely sorry sir..

The professor : Which year are you doing?? Tell me.. and which department? I will go and complain you.. Did you bet with your friends that you will make me stumble??

Anika looks at him with puppy eyes.. She thinks of a solution..

Anika : Sir.. Don’t do so sir.. Sir.. Actually.. I have a test in the first hour.. So I was revising whatever I studied.. That’s why I did not see you coming.. sorry sir..

Professor : Hmm.. You seem like a bright student.. So I am leaving you.. Go and be careful..

Anika : Thank you sir..

She picks the fallen books and gives him.. He moves..

Anika : (to herself) Anika.. Very good.. This lie worked out.. I have heard about him that he likes sincere students more.. I used it here.. anyways,I escaped from a problem now..

She turns only to see Shivaay staring at her..

Anika : (to herself) Oh God.. When did he see me? He might have seen me when that professor shouted at me.. what can I do now? Do I have to do what he gave as a punishment? Or else shall I go?? No.. that day,the mistake was mine.. I have to be honest.. Now he is alone.. I will go and tell him whatever he asked me to..

She goes towards him.. Shivaay smiles on seeing her coming towards him..

Anika : Sorry.. I am a stupid,idiot.. and I am mad too..

Shivaay did not expect that she would take it so seriously.. he cannot control laughing.. By then,the other guy(Varun) who was talking with Shivaay before comes again..

Varun : Hey shivaay! Who is this girl? Your girlfriend? And why she is blabbering that she is idiot,stupid and all??

Shivaay : I don’t know Varun.. I think whatever she says is right.. she must be mad..(looks at Anika with a smile) Come let’s go..

He puts his hand over Varun’s shoulder and leaves.. Anika could not believe her eyes.. She stared at Shivaay with mouth wide open…

Anika : This guy is disgusting.. Yes.. I am mad to have taken whatever he said seriously.. I will not leave him..

She angrily sees him going.. Shivaay turns and winks at her with a smile..

PRECAP : The real junior guy who had to take tips from Gauri comes.. Om thinks of an idea to handle the situation..

Hi guys how are you all.. it’s been month I didn’t post my story..hope you were not forgot me , I’m really busy..

Recrap: anika’s father in hospital shivika meeting..

Lets peep into todays epi..

Next day morning :

Anika is getting ready to meet Shivaay.
“Neil take care of ma and papa, I’m leaving to meet Shivaay to discuss about the case “ she said.

“ Annie , shall I come with you?” Neil questioned her..

“No Neil, I’ll handle it , he will not eat me..” she said with a fake smile .

“ just asked yarr..ok bye..” Neil said .

Anika went to oberoi industries this time she didn’t strom inside she waited in the reception. The receptionist informed Shivaay and he asked her to come inside.

Anika came inside and sat quietly for few minutes. Shivay was the first to break the silence.

“Anika I think it will be raining today “ he said.

She simply rolled her eyes and gave a confused expression .

“Why shivaay?” She asked.

“Because jansi ki rani is silent “ he said and chuckled .

“Shivaay…” she said .

”ok anika you told that you need to talk about something to me?” He said.

“shivaay I came here to know about your enemies in business “ she finished her sentence .

“ but Anika I’m not doing any small business this is Oberoi world… there will be so many enemies ..how can I mention them “ shivaay said and gave a proudly look.

“ hello Mr. stop blowing trumpet of your own … I need the list “ she said.

“But Anika…” cut by Anika

“ not but… you should give me” she ordered him.

“As you wish mam “ he said and murmured mad girl which is unheard by Anika.

Within half an hour shivaay gave the list there were more than 30 members.. Anika gone through the list and said

“ so shivaay I have a plan to capture the culprit “

“ proceed anika” he said .

“ so shivaay we should throw a party for all your business friends and partners “ cut by shivaay

“ anika if you want any party you can say me directly as a friend I’ll give you why are you saying this to save me “ he said .

“ Mr. bagadbilla mind your words I don’t need your poor party, I just thought to help you , if you thought this is not ok then you say an idea” anika fumed .

“ Anika cool down I just said for fun “ he said .

“ poor humour sense Mr. Oberoi “ he said .

“ cool down anika continue your plan” he said.

“ if we invite all your partners and friends definitely he/she to will come there “ she said.

“ are you sure anika , he will come?” He asked raising his eyebrows .

“ yes shiv he will definitely come , if my acception is correct definitely he will come at least to meet Avni “ she said.

hearing shiv from his mouth shivaay felt something inside his heart..

“ Avni…?!!.” He asked.

“ yes shivaay “ she said and continued
“ on that day I came to your home na. I was searching for you to say about the case on that time instead of your room I opened her room fortunately she didn’t see me” and she explained everything to him what she heard in her room ( guys what did anika heard…that is muted here .. will be revealed soon..)

Shivaay simply nodded..anika thinks “ what I’m saying a secret about his sister and he is simply nodding his head. Something fishy come on Anika you should find out” .

“Shivaay are you ok with my plan?” She asked .

“Ok anika , day after tomorrow is Avni’’s birthday so we can celebrate that birthday party and I’ll call all my clients for that party “ he said.

“ but shivaay we are having ony one day is that ok for you , because we need to decorate house for the party” she said.

“ it’s ok anika I’ll manage that , you just inform all the others “ he said and went out.

Anika thinks “ is this guy is really mad here I’m saying a big thing and he is not at all reacting, at least he can appreciate me for this kithikod plan” anika made a pout face and left the place.

She went to Oberoi mansion and informed everyone about the party but she said that it’s for Avni not mentioned about her plan even though to Neil.

In hospital,
Everyone slept anika Neil was playing pubg in his Mobile . Anika came and snatched his phone . He shouted at her

“Shhh” she let fingers in her lips and sighed him to come outside and not to disturb her parents.

“ anika give me your phone “ he said.

“ Mr. Pubg addict instead of playing this at least you have tried in Indian army at least you have got a chance to save our nation “ she moked at him.

“ you go jansi ki Rani , why should I ?” By saying he snatched his phone from her.

“Ok leave it baba , I’m having a surprise for you ?” She said , still now she didn’t informed to him about the party and Avni’s birthday.

“What ? Have you bought ice cream for me?” He asked she hit his head .

“ then what ?” He asked “ that only my favourite…what else ?“ by saying he began to think .

“ you stupid always thinking about food” She said.

And she explained everything to him.
“ Anika I think he is not shivaay Singh Oberoi, dumbo Singh Oberoi “ Neil said .

Anika glared at him,
“ then what how can he accept that stupid idea of yours , if definitely I were in his place I’ll be fired you” he said and done the famous hair flick of SSO.

“For your kind information I’m not working under him nor his client , he is my client he not having any rights to fire me “ she said with her attitude
He gave a whatever look .

“ so you are not coming to attend Avni’s birthday party “ she asked

“N..nooo when did I said like that .. definitely I’ll come for my Avni’s birthday party “ he said.

“ your Avni?” She raised her eyebrows
He bites his tongue and smiled sheepishly..

“ dude if this was heard by his brothers then definitely next time you will play your pubg in heaven, ops not heaven , you will play in hell “ she said and he made a pout face .

“ What the great shivaay Singh Oberoi is also a human na not any god or animal na?” He said.

“ so dude if you have dare means say this to the Great Wall of Oberoi group Mr.shivaay” anika said and winked at him

“ I’m feeling sleepy anika good night “ he said and escaped from her

Anika smiled seeing his new Rome friend.

Anika’s pov

why Avni shivaay didn’t reacted anything for what I said about his sister. I too know Avni is a nice girl. But to whom Shen was speaking that day. I have to find the truth have to save shivaay,he is trusting me like anything . I have to do something. God please help me . The culprit should come to the party or at lest I should get a clue except that blue eyes and tattoo..

Next day:

A day gone in decoration of Oberoi mansion . Anika explained her plan to bahvya , Gauri, om and rudr. She didn’t say about anything to Avni because it’s was a secret for Avni a birthday surprise for her. So everyone accepted her plan .

Avni was speaking to someone but shivika can’t see his/her face properly…
