Scene starts with Anika walking towards Shivaaye ‘s room.
Anika (Self thought)- Why am i nervous to talk to Shivaaye. I just have to act sympatheic towards him. But i dont know why i am having this awkward type feeling. Anyways…..
Anika shrugs her thoughts & enters Shivaaye’s room. As she stood on entrance Shivaaye’s mobile comes & falls infront of her.
Shivaaye was looking at other side. Anika was just staring at Shivaaye. Just then Shivaaye puches the wall & keeps punching on it ,due to which blood flows from Shivaaye’s hand.
Anika was shocked. She runs towards Shivaaye & holds his hands.
Anika- Billu ji What are u doing??? See how much blood is floowing from ur hands.
She makes him sit on bed & takes the first aid box from side table. She starts doing first aid.
Shivaaye was staring at her. He saw concern for himself in her eyes, which he have seen in only his family members eyes till now.

Anika applies dettol on his wound.
Shivaaye- Aaaah……
Anika looks at him & says- Jal raha hai…
Shivaaye- Hmmm…
Anika- Toh jale gaaa hii… ittni chhot jo laggi hai… Kya jarrorat thhi apna gussa wall parr nikal ne ki….
Shivaaye just looks at her. He had a small smile on his face. For a minute he thought that he has no tensions & everything is perfect in his life.
Just then his mobile rings. It was Tia’s call. Shivaaye picks up the call.
Anika realises what she was doing.

There Shivaaye talks to Tia,
Tia- Hello Shivaaye baby… just came to know abt Om…. Is he okk….
Shivaaye- Yes Tia…. He is kk….
Tia- I know baby u are tensed…… Dont worry i will send u rekris….
Shivaaye— Yaa….
Tia- Okk baby…. bye talk to u later….
He cuts the call.
He turns to find Anika standing.

Anika- Yeh bandage aap lagga lijiye….. Main aati hu…
She was abt to leave when Shivaaye holds her hands.
Shivaaye- plz dont leave….
Anika looks at him. She cld see pain & tears in his eyes.
She had never seen him in this way from the day 1.

And whatever she had heard from business circle & Sid she knew he was very strong.
But today she could see a vulnerable Shivaaye. …..
She cld see a kid who wanna talk & cry his heart out. A kid who wants to tell his pain to her.
Screen freezes on Anika staring at tearful Shivaaye……

Parallel Universe

A fantasy story of Ishqbaaz/Dil Boley Oberoi characters, with Gauri and Omkara in lead roles.

Imagine Dil Boley Oberoi’s introductory scene; Omkara, who was portrayed kind-hearted, honest with his signature long hair depicting his artistic character, suddenly has had an overnight character change, into SSO 2.0! Does not seem right, but this same storyline splits into TWO, one with OSO(Omkara Singh Oberoi/SSO 2.0) and the other with OM (artistic and calm)! Parallel Universe……

Intro: Omkara in his car, with his hair tied (similar to that of DBO’s first scene). Milestone at the side of the road, stating “Bareily 12km”.

OSO gets down of the car, a chiraiya is depicted on his sunglasses/flares. A bright yellow dupatta slightly dabs as Gauri passes by him.

Imagine REVERSING the whole scenario.

OM: Why does it always have to be me? I cannot even think Mr. Oberoi would fall for Svetlana! Mom has faced a lot of problems with Mr. Oberoi already. Not anymore. ( his fingers placed on his forehead, his open hair is shown flying in the wind, as the car passes the milestone “Bareily 12km”

What if OM (artistic) was in the car and the same milestone is showed? Would he misunderstand Gauri? Would they even meet?

Just my random thoughts! Let me know if I should continue or not!

I have never tried to write a story, this is my first time, so kindly bear with me!

Ratan packs his bags and leaves from the place. He is not aware of Abhay’s revenge plans.

At first i’m sorry so much .i couldn’t post as there is no power in our area for two days
AFTER TWO MONTHS:

O-I’m trying dadi.but i can’t find his where about .don’t worry dadi i won’t give up till i get my brother’
R-i am missing my super hero bhaiya.its two months now but no single news where is he!!!
SOR CONSTRUCTIONS:
It was small office which is started only two weeks back.although it is started before two weeks today is shivaay’s first day in office.he is having meeting and is about to attend.a phone call comes…

S-Haan annika!!
A-are you busy
S-yes i’m going to attend meeting from M.J industries.
A-ok after meeting come fast.i’m so bored.we can go outing.i’m bored.will you take me.
S-so my biwi is bored within a day without her husband.ok get ready at 7.00 pm. i will pick up you we shall go for a long drive.

S-me too be safe.i will come..
Meeting was about to start shivaay enters finishes his presentation and signs a deal too.he finds lucky as he didn’t thought he will get this deal.he comes home happily here Annika is getting ready.she felt little dizzy but doesn’t take it seriously and gets ready.she again gets dizzy and falls on the floor.shivaay comes to house and calls for Annika.but no sound so he panicks and comes inside.he sees her lying on the floor.

S-(he picks her to the hospital and is panicked).Doctor she is my wife don’t know what happened she is unconciously lying in the floor.

Doctor checks Annika. Shivaay waits outside tensionly after 10 mins doctor comes out happily.

Doctor-sir your wife is pregnant so she fell unconscious .she is little weak that all taking good care is enough.

Shivaay enters Annika is lying on the bed eyes closed.he comes and sees her emotionally kisses her on forehead.she opens her eyes
A-what happened to me shivaay?why are we in hospital?(she gets up from bed)
S-Take rest Annika don’t get up.you should be careful(he becomes so protective and starts to say don’t do that this..)
A-Are you ok.what happened .i’m ok.but shivaay why are you saying again and again to be careful.i’m fine.

Hello doodles here I come back with the next part. Happy reading. I hope you all enjoyed the story up till here cause some shocking revelations are on way so I would like to suggest to go through the PREQUEL (The 7 Days Story) once before you all proceed further if you haven’t read the prequel.

EPISODE- 16

“No Ishu he did not go away… He was there with me… my parents suffered accident… they died… I was helpless and knew just nothing from where to start. I tried to contact Vini but she was lost too. I tried so hard to find her but I lost her again. Her neighbours informed me that she and her parents has shifted somewhere else and they don’t know where. I was at loss… I had my dreams… I had responsibility of Sahil… I was just stuck at such a point where no ray of hope were there and then he came back to my life again… again…” Anika looked at Shivay. Her eyes spoke that the terribles times are getting played in front of her eyes. Shivay caressed her back and Ishana ruffled her hair.

(please refer to EPISODE- 12 of THE SEVEN DAYS STORY as Anika’s parents death and her condition that time was described in that episode of that story)

“Relax Anika… take your time” Shivay said while she put her head over his chest to find solace and peace. Shivay pecked over her forehead and continued to caress her back until she became calm and composed to continue the narration. Anika got up and looked at Ishana.

“Di… please relax” Ishana pleaded with moistened eyes. Anika nodded her head and hugged Ishana.

She continued “remember Shivay I have explained that I got a job and went to delhi” Anika stopped for an answer from Shivay.

He nodded and said “yeah… yes”

“There I got him… I wasn’t in any condition to deny his favours… I thought that he has helped Vini a lot… so maybe he has changed and the way he started to take care of mine and Sahil’s, I couldn’t just deny to allow him to help me. He became a very close friend of mine. He helped me for the treatment of Sahil and at the initial stage of my job. Some days passed when Veer asked me something really strange.

FLASHBACK

“Anika… would you do me a favour?” Veer asked.

“Yeah… if it’s in my ability I would definitely love to do” Anika said

“Okay but first promise me that you would definitely do” Veer asked innocently.

“Okay I promise” Anika said pressing her eyebrows.

“Please write I AM GETTING MARRIED… in this piece of paper” Veer said giving her a pen and paper.

“But why should I write that? I mean…” Anika tried to say something but Veer cut her off and middle “you promised me that you won’t ask any question… so please” Veer requested. Anika couldn’t deny much and she wrote writing her name down the paper.

FLASHBACK ENDS… ANIKA’S NARRATION CONTINUES

I wrote it and asked some questions to Veer but he answered none. I didn’t think much about that and I forgot about it soon. Four years have passed by and suddenly a day…

FLASHBACK

“Anika… I want to share something” Veer said holding Anika’s hands.

“Veer… maybe I know what you want to say” Anika said trying to free her hands. His grip loosened and she took back her hands.

“Anika, I know that day of our school… you… you can never forget, but believe me I have changed a lot… for you, please at least try to love me once and I promise I would keep you happy… you would be the most happiest person… please Anika” Veer said and expected a positive answer this time.

But the truth was bitter for him. The words that Anika uttered made him silent for always from confessing “Veer… I don’t know how much you love me… but believe me no one can love me like Shivay… I was always him since I met him and fell in love with him, I am telling you he will wait for me to return for his entire life… I am sorry Veer but me, my soul and my body only belongs to him and no one else… I am sorry” Anika walked away stating all these while Veer kept staring angrily.

FLASHBACK ENDS… ANIKA’S NARRATION CONTINUES

…I walked away… I thought he would go away but no he came back that evening and just asked that can we be friends, I said yes uttering a sorry again. He behaved much cool and this topic of love never came between us ever again. But his care and concern for me never decreased… may be he was waiting for me to change my decision.

But after more two years his parents were adamant to get him married. He denied but as a good relation has grown up between me and his family so I promised aunty (Veer’s mother) and uncle (Veer’s father) that I would make him agree. I went to talk to him…

FLASHBACK

Veer is sitting on the terrace while Anika arrived from back.

“Veer” Anika called.

“Anika please go… I don’t want to get married” Veer said

“Okay listen… it is your personal decision and I am not allowed to talk to you about this matter and I know that, but just once think about aunty and uncle, they have so many hopes related to you please do not hurt them by denying the most important decision of your life that they took… I can just request you… rest is up to your decision” Anika said and strted walking back.

“Will you be happy if I marry her?” Veer asked.

“Yes why not… I would be very happy” Anika jumped off expecting he would say yes.

FLASHBACK ENDS… ANIKA’S NARRATION CONTINUES

…And yeah he said yes for the marriage and they got married. After that Veer started his foreign trips and stayed in India very less. One fine day he just vanished along with his wife KOMAL.

I never searched for him and then we again met in that trip. After that you know Shivay what all happened and how we got reunited.” Anika paused and looked at Shivay.

“But Anika when you explained me about maa-babuji’s death (Anika’s parents) you never said about Veer or Vini” Shivay said

(please refer to EPISODE- 12 of THE SEVEN DAYS STORY as Anika’s parents death and her condition that time was described in that episode of that story)

“Yes Shivay… because I said Veer also just vanished suddenly after his marriage, so I thought maybe he is gone  away from my life so didn’t say all these to you as they were not important that time and about Vini the same condition applies” Anika explained.

The boldness and strength in her voice was back by then. She was getting ready to fight with the upcoming storm and then again she continued “and then again I met Veer in the new year party thrown by Mr. Sharma, Shivay’s client, I was so happy to see him so I went to him to…” Shivay cut Anika in between and continued.

“I will say what happened in that party… it was four and half years back we were invited to Mr. Sharma’s new year party… there she saw Veer and excitedly she said hello and hugged him in friendly manner but he touched her in a wrong way… she just came out of the hug, Mr. Sharma announced couple dance and we started dancing. I twirled her and she landed in Veer’s embrace while another woman came in mine. We all continued to dance but then Veer started misbehaving… he started to touch her uncomfortably and when she tried to come out of his embrace but he just pulled her to him.

FLASHBACK

“Shivayyyee…” Anika cried aloud that drew everyone’s attention.

Shivay quickly went to Anika and held her as she explained everything.

“How dare you insult my wife?” Shivay said holding Veer’s collar.

“Who are you between me and Anika? Because of you only I lost her… she loved you and not me because of you only… you are responsible because I did not get my love and was forced to stay away from her… now you have to repay all this. You have to loose your love now… just wait and watch Mr. Shivay Singh Oberoi how I snatch away Anika from you” Veer completed and a punch landed over his nose causing it to bleed.

“You have to pay for this Anika” Veer said and walked away from the party.

FLASHBACK ENDS… SHIVAY’S NARRATION CONTINUES

…and Veer walked off… but Anika why didn’t you share about Veer to me after that incident?” Shivay asked.

“Because Shivay I always felt disgusted to talk about him or think about him after that incident… but now not more… we would give it back to him now Shivay” Anika said and stood up.

Shivay and Ishana too stood up following her.

“ONE FOR ALL… ALL FOR ONE” Anika said extending her hand. Ishana kept her hand above Anika’s and said “ONE FOR ALL…” Shivay now kept his hand above their’s and they continued “…ALL FOR ONE”

Shivay pulled Anika in a hug. He extended his hand for Ishana, the three shared a group hug promising each other to fight any storm together.

Dadi says gather all the guys from neighborhood. Shivaye asks why. Dadi asks would you brothers compete among yourselves, there should be others too. Shivaye says there is just one way to win this match. Anika says we won’t let them lose. Some time ago, Dadi hugs Anika and says just think all the problems have burnt in this holy fire of Lohri. Gauri says yes. Bhavya asks Anika to come to them. Dadi says its Makar Sankranti tomorrow, it means a new season, new start and… Rudra says short hair, Sankranti is my friend, she has short hair. Bhavya says you miss college friends, think well before speaking. Shivaye says yes, we are talking about festival Sankranti, not that girl. Dadi says Sankranti means Patangbaazi.

Gauri says a lot of people fly kites in Bareilly on this Sankranti day. Dadi says you didn’t see Oberoi’s Sankranti, it has Ishqbaazi too. Shivaye asks really. Dadi says like its necessary to give enough string to fly a kite and hold back the string, similarly, in a marriage, one should give freedom to partner and also hold the relationship tightly so that someone else is not able to break it, I want to see your Ishqbaazi with Patangbaazi tomorrow. Gauri says how, Om is not here. Anika asks Shivaye did he say Gauri. Shivaye says sorry, I forgot, Om is coming tomorrow. Dadi says my bahus will celebrate Makar Sankranti tomorrow, and you three brothers will fly the kites. Shivaye asks what’s the need, we all are tired, Om will be tired too. Dadi says Makar Sankranti comes once a year, stop it. Anika says we don’t get a chance to fly kites everyday. Shivaye says ya, you are right. Rudra asks Bhavya did she understand Dadi’s deep words. She says yes, I doubt you didn’t understand it. They argue.

Shivaye says its a good chance, come on tell her, we don’t know flying kites. Rudra says no, its about Oberois’ respect. He says its a child’s play for me, when we Oberois fly kites, girls’ hearts also fly along. Anika says we thought you don’t know it. Shivaye says actually… Rudra says stop it, we will show them tomorrow. Shivaye asks how. Dadi says gather all the guys from neighborhood. Shivaye asks why. Dadi asks would you brothers compete among yourselves. Rudra says chill, call entire India, we will win, Oberois never quit. Shivaye says Oberois never lose, we can’t say this from tomorrow, how will we do this. Dadi says I m sure my grandsons will protect Oberois’ honor.

Veer welcomes someone and says I was waiting for you. Tej gets down the car. They shake hands. Shwetlana says I was waiting for you two to meet. She smiles and says we three have a common enemy, I have already told you how to defeat him. Tej says its Makar Sankranti tomorrow, there can’t be a better start than this to ruin Shivaye, I will start my plan, none can save Shivaye from getting destroyed. He leaves.

Shwetlana says Tej shouldn’t know that you are doing this to get Anika. Veer asks why, you said he is Shivaye’s enemy. She says but he is an Oberoi, Anika is not just Shivaye’s wife, but also Oberoi family’s bahu, their honor, if Tej knows you want to ruin their dignity, you will be Tej’s enemy, not Shivaye, Tej may not keep relations but he keeps enmity with sincerity.

Its morning, Shivaye says relax, we will do something. Rudra says all set, just tell me, you are SSO, you would know flying a kite. Shivaye gets angry. Rudra asks him to chill, he will fly the kite. Shivaye says you are not even able to hold it, what did you tell them, we three together won’t be able to fly a kite, we will get insulted, we can’t show our faces to wives. He destroys the kite. Rudra says it was an expensive one. Gauri asks servants to get to work, no one should have any complains. Om kisses on her cheek. She smiles and hugs him. Saathiya….plays….

She asks what’s the matter. He says I thought you will be annoyed with me, I wasn’t with you on our first Lohri together. She says Shivaye explained me that you had been trying to meet that big artist, I have let go my anger, how can I get upset with the thing that gives you happiness. He says thanks for understanding me so much, what can I do to cheer you. She asks do you really want to do something. He says sure. She says then win the kite competition and show me. She goes. Om says how will I fly a kite, I didn’t even see a kite flying till now. Shivaye says welcome back. Rudra hugs Om. Om asks Shivaye Patangbaazi really. Rudra says its a competition. Om asks whose idea was it. Rudra says it was Ddi’s idea. Shivaye says we couldn’t refuse to Dadi, I was trying to say, but Rudra was lying so much, the competition has begun, we can’t lose. Om says Gauri said this too, but who are we competing with. Rudra says kids. Om asks really. Shivaye says they are not kids, look there. They see some guys coming with kites. Om says they don’t look like kids Rudra. Rudra says so what, its a child’s play for me. He gets hurt. Shivaye says he has got injured before the match started, we can’t lose, there is just one way to win this.

They try to thread the kite. Khanna asks shall I do this. Shivaye asks do you know this. Khanna says I m champion in flying kites. Shivaye says here you go. Anika asks why are you making Khanna do this. Shivaye says he likes to learn, I thought to teach him. He asks Khanna to get his own kite and come. Anika asks Khanna to take care of guests. Shivaye says I think this kite is defective, Rudy get another one. Rudra says I will go. Gauri and Bhavya come. Gauri asks what happened. Rudra says we are checking the direction of the wind. Shivaye and Om say how will we fly kite. Bhavya says their kite is still flying. Guy says you invited us for competition, you didn’t start yet, hurry up, we have to go, did you accept defeat. Anika asks them to show them, they are taunting, cut their kite. Rudra says what are you saying, Dadi says guests are like Lord, how can we cut the string of Lord’s kite. Dadi asks what happened. Rudra says we are just our of practice. Shivaye says we have not flown a kite since years. Dadi says its about Oberois’ respect.

Anika says I think they can’t do this. Bhavya says I knew it. Gauri says I can’t see Om losing. Anika says don’t worry, we won’t let them lose. They get ready. Anika says give me the kite. Shivaye says you will get hurt. Anika asks Gauri to hoist the kite. She asks Bhavya to hold the roll, she will fly the kite. Anika flies the kite. ShivOmRu look on. Shivaye says our wives have protected our honor. Rudra says yes, no life without wife. Om says thank God for that. Rudra says Bhavya defeated me even in this. Shivaye says its better than losing to the neighborhood guys. The guy asks will we compete with girls. Anika asks are you scared. Gauri says don’t cry after losing to us. The guy says we are not afraid of losing. Gauri says you will lose out to girls today, because… They say Oberois never lose. Anika cuts the string of their kite and shouts Kai Po che. Dadi says my bahus did something which my grandsons couldn’t. Rudra says we gave them a chance to prove, today’s women are stronger. Dadi says lets’ celebrate. They all dance. London Thumakda….plays….

They all hug Dadi. Rudra says not bad, amazing. Bhavya says think before making big claims. Om says I was supposed to win competition for you. Gauri says it doesn’t matter you win or me. They hug. Shivaye says you know flying a kite too. Anika says I know everything, I can fly even your helicopter. They all dance. Veer comes and hugs Shivaye. Om and Rudra greet Veer. Veer sees Anika and smiles. They all see someone….. and stop dancing.

Tej says what I have done with you two, I should get punished. Shivaye says forget everything, we will make a new start. Tej says you have proved once again that you have a big heart. Shivaye goes to hug him. Om stops them and comes between.

Shivaay and Omru, who had been there since the news of the hijack came out , were on the 50-50 line of emotions because they didn’t know whether Anika was one among those unfortunate five. It was like they couldnt be very upset as the majority of passengers had been rescued, and couldnt be happy as there was even a 1 % chance of Anika being in thise five as she was a Jagat Maata.
Their trance was broken by a call on Shivaay’s phone.
“Bade papa ? Why is he calling now ? “, as Shivaay connected the call with Tej.
As the conversation went , Shivaay’s eyes kept on widening. He had started stumbling. The phone slipped out of his hands. Om caught him and Rudra picked up the phone, to understand what was so grave which had changed the complexion of Shivaay so suddenly and as pale can ever be, but it was disconnected. Omru made Shivaay sit on a chair nearby. Om sat beside him, engulfing him in a hug, while Rudra sat down at his Bhaiya’s feet.
Rudra,” Bhaiya, what did Dad say ? ”
No answer.
Om jerked Shivaay.
Om, ” Shivaay, what did Mr. Oberoi say ? ”
Shivaay, ” Bade papa said…that…that…”
Rudra, ” What bhaiya ? ”
Shivaay, ” He said that he had got in touch with the authorities concerned and related to the blast and… and…”
Om, ” Yes Shivaay, we are listening. ”
Shivaay, ” And he said that…Anika….Anika….”
Rudra,” Bhaiya, what happened to bhabhi ? ”
Their conversation was broken by the announcement, ” We are happy to announce that we have carried out a successful emergency transfer operation from Lucknow Airport to CSI International Airport, Mumbai that is this airport. Now, the passengers of 1102 will be released and can go back to thier families. Please take care of them as most of them are not out of the trauma yet. Passengers, we wish you a happy life ahead and are still sorry for the incident you had to go through. Thank you everyone for your cooperation. Signing off, Head of Indian Airport Authority, Mr. Anwar Raj Joshi.”
Om and Rudra’s face lit up. They hopefully looked at the entry door, waiting for their pyaari Anika bhabhi. They couldn’t wait for her to come – they loved her so much and couldn’t absorb the fact that she had undergone so much trauma in the past seven hours. No only she, all members of the Oberoi family except Pinky, Chanda and Sahil were undergoing a lot Of worry and stress as they wanted to see their Anika , bhabhi and didi safe and sound back.
Shivaay,  ” Come Omru, we need to go to the chopper. ”
Om, ” Wait Shivaay, bhabhi is coming. We will meet her and go.”
All of Shivaay’s effort to take them away failed and so he sank on the nearest chair crying.
As the door opened, the passengers came pouring out like hungry cats. Shivaay sat there crying and Omru were surprised to see that Shivaay wasn’t excited at all. In a few moments, the passengers had stopped coming. Omru looked on with nervousness. They could see reunion of parents and children, husband and wife , brothers and sisters and they were waiting for the reunion of bhabhi and devars. But no Anika came.
They sat down around Shivaay.
Om, ” Shivaay, ro mat. Anika bhabhi tera aisa chehra nahi dekh sakengi. You have to be strong for her. Stop crying. ”
Shivaay,  ” No Omru…Anika is….”
Rudra, ” Enough Bhaiya…enough you have said about bhabhi. Now when she will come, you will not tell her a word, okay ? ”
Shivaay,  ” No Omru…she wont come. ”
Om, ” Shivaay, dont say this. She must be coming na. Wait for her. ”
Shivaay shouted in between his tears , ” No Omru, Anika is not going to come. She is not here. Come with me. ”
Rudra, ” Why bhaiya?  Why wont bhabhi come ? ”
Shivaay,  ” She wont come because she is at Lucknow Hospital. Why aren’t you understanding this from the past ten minutes ? Bade papa called to say that she is in the hospital. Lucknow hospital, where the blast victims are undergoing treatment. She is not coming. We have to go to her. ”
Omru were hell shocked. They could make out that Shivaay was breaking piece by piece and was still trying to act composed, but off course , it was showing that he was already broken. Omru gave him a tight hug. Then they dragged out each other, boarded the chopper and left for Lucknow Hospital.

So Anika is one of the unlucky ones who became a victim of terrorism and the blast. Will she return back ? Fond out in the last part of It was too late…

Hi guys this  Rishi18 back with the 5th chap

Scene 1:
Shivaay enters the car with Anika in his arms. He sits on the back seat with Anika in his lap. Omru sit on the front see with Om driving. Shivaay was continuously patting Anika’s cheek. He saw Anika shivering very badly, he quickly took out his coat and wrapped it around her. Still seeing no improvement Rudra also took out his jacket and gave it to Shivaay. Shivaay quickly took it and smiled with gratitude, and wrapped it around her. Anika was somewhat stable but still shivering, so Shivaay hugged her tightly and was continuously murmuring” Nothing will happen to u. I will not let anything happen to u. Please don’t lose hope. I am with u, nothing will happen to u” His tears were not stopping. His condition was more disheveled with messy hairs, tears stricken cheeks and bloodshot eyes.
Meanwhile Om applied sudden break as they had reached the hospital. Shivaay came out with Anika in his hands. As Om had already informed the doctor, a stretcher was waiting for Anika. Shivaay carefully placed her on it and held her hand and rubbing it. He was continuously asking her to keep a hope but in reality he was asking for hope for himself. As the doctor checked her pulse he informed them that her pulse was very faint .  He quickly took her to get all the tests done . As Anika’s stretcher went and her hand left Shivaay’s, he felt that he was loosing his life.
As the stretcher went out of sight Shivaay felt weak on his knees, he left from there. He went near a pillar , leant against it, cupped his mouth and fell on the floor. He started crying very badly. His tears were not stopping in any way. He could not process anything, he felt that his life had scattered in million pieces, which could not be picked up and rejoined in Anika’s language “Bahot bada raita phail Gaya hai air sameta Nahi  ja Sakta.
Omru could not find Shivaay with them so they started searching him as they knew that he could not be left alone in this condition.

After searching him everywhere and they found him in a condition they never wanted to see him in. He was sitting in the same condition crouched in a corner. He was crying like a little kid. Our Rudy boy, not able to see him in this condition, went near him and sat beside him he said” Bhaiya u know I have never seen anybody stronger than my Bhabhi. Although she doesn’t have six pack abs ,she is stronger than anyone. I know nothing will happen to her. She is a fighter, see she is the first person to challenge the great SSO.” Seeing his little brother talking like an adult both Shivaay and Om smiled a little. Rudra continued” Bhaiya she is my khidkitod Bhabhi she promised me that she will always remain my partner in crime . U know her pinky promise never breaks.” Saying this our crybaby himself started crying who went to console his brother.
Seeing both his brothers crying like babies Om went and sat on his knees before them and hugged both of them tightly. His tears were also flowing but he had to remain strong for both his brothers. They sat there like that, no words were required. They understood each others emotions very well and knew how they needed each other.
Soon the doctor came out. Shivaay saw him first and rushed towards him. He poured all the questions” Doctor how is Anika? She is fine na. Nothing is gonna happen to her. She will get fine and talk to me.” His questions were not stopping. Seeing him the doctor said” Mr. Oberoi first u should calm down. See Anika had lost much blood because of the nails and her body is full of small and major wounds. Over that she was kept in water for almost 30 min in which her lungs too got filled with water. Although we have removed the water, still she is not responding well to our medicine.” Listening this Shivaay got a mini heart attack after asking for the permission he went inside Anika’ s ward. He saw his Anika lying on the bed lifeless with numerous machines attached to her body. An oxygen mask was attached to her mouth. Her face was pale which was so unlike our chirpy, chubby, bubbly Anika. Shivaay went and sat beside her. He kept his hand on hers. He saw her covered with bandages all over her body. His heart aches to see her in this condition. He held her hand tightly and closed his eyes, fresh tears started coming out “Anika…” were the only words he could speak. He moved forward and caressed her hair. “Anika get up see I saved u, now u will get fine” “ get up Anika…” He could not speak more and his tears fell on her hands. Her hands moved slightly and she spoke “Shivaay….” Shivaay immediately looked up and saw Anika’s eyes half open. He immediately called the doctor by pressing the bell as he was not allowed to shout as it would cause discomfort to Anika. Doctor came running inside and checked her. He smiled a bit seeing Shivaay and told him that she was fine but..” He told him to meet him outside the ward.

As Shivaay came outside Omru enquired about Anika he just nodded and smiled and went away to talk to the doctor. “ Mr. Oberoi u have to understand one thing , she is very weak right now. I think she has not recovered from her previous stroke of fever and all this happened. I know u will take care of her but remember even if she recovers from physical injuries she would require time for mental one’s. She is very weak to even move her hand to take water so leave about walking. She can talk but don’t let her shout. Nothing is more dangerous than stress. U have to become her support and take care of her, she needs u the most.” Saying tis the doctor went away.

The Night Before The Exile

Annika turned, trying to snuggle into the peaceful wamrth of her man but ended up hugging the soft pillow, she squeezed it hard and rubbed her cheeks against it as if trying to recognise it.

Extending her arms more, trying to get hold of him she realized the place was cold and empty just the way he seems to be behaving that whole day, opening her half drowsy eyes, trying to adjust to the light which fell upon her face from the lamp beside the bedside table, she looked around, raking her eyes all around in search of him. Earlier, he used to be near the glass window speaking in hush tone to his clients just to not to disturb her sleep or must have been sitting on the couch with the bluetooth and laptop beside him but today he was no where to be seen.

Thinking that he must be in the bathroom, she lay there, now fully awake as she looked at the white ceiling above her, pulling the blanket close to herslef as the cold winter winds made her shudder in response.

whatever happened today, it revolves around her mind, well, today was one of the most wierdest day she had ever experienced in this mansion just because Shivaay was behaving out of character, he was like a lost man who lost his everything and now wondering upon his losses while doing nothing in particular.

She tried to ask him why he’s behaving like this but everytime she tried a simple ‘I’m busy, we’ll talk later’ always made him safe from speaking the truth.

Sighing, she looked at the bathroom door and sat up, grabbing her mobile she saw the time to realize it was past two o’ clock. shifting off the warm blanket, she felt the ice chilly wind pierce her skin like bullets but she didn’t stop, else grabbing a shawl she wrapped it around herself and went towards the bathroom to find it empty leaving her to wonder where he could be at this hour of night.

Existing the room she moved about, her eyes trying to find the particular person who was her reason to live. she reached the coridoor, it was dark and eriee, the atmosphere made ehr think about the last horror movie she saw making her gulp hard, muttering a few words of encouragement to herself she walked through the white marble, suddenly she heard sound of someone weeping, well who would be weeping like this in the middle of the night?

Her breath quicken, she moved forwards to hear the sound was coming from inside a room, well more precisely from Rudra’s room, but today Om was also accomapining him as Gauri was sleeping with Dadi. She moved ahead, her steps getting more cautious each passing second, opening the door a little ajar, so that she could see what’s going inside.

Her eyes filled up with tears as she saw whatever was happening inside the room, her throat getting dry because of the numb which started bubling up there. She saw Shivaay sitting beside Rudra and Om’s sleeping form while a photo frame of them held close to his heart as tears effrotlessly descend down his cheeks. she never saw something like this, well never imagined it though and entered Rudra’s room not at all making any sound.

With a feeble smile she reached him making him concious of someone in the room other then him, “Shivaay” she whsipered letting him know about her presence, he stilled, and after a few seconds he turned to look at her who was looking at him with flash of concern shining in her cocoa brown orbs.

“What happen Shivaay?” she asked as she caressed his subtle with her palm, the cold invisible tears striking her warm palm making her flush.

He didn’t said much, he just turned and looked at his lifelines, his brother who were in deep slumber hugging each other like teddy bear, “I will miss them annika” he whispered letting out his insecurities in front of her making her confuse as well as amused, “No one is going anywhere shivaay” she said grabbing his shoulder and squeezing it trying to convince him while been unaware of the things which Is going to happen tommorow morning, “we all are here with each other”

He seemed to be in his own world, swaying his long fingers in their hair like a nursing mother, he smiled as tear slide down his cheeks, “Whatever I’m doing I’m doing for them Annika, I know they will never forgive me but I had to do this”

This act of him was making her wonder what he was talking about, “Shivaay” she whispered a little too loud, turning his face towards her, she rubbed off his over flowy tears and tried to ask him why he is behaving like this, but instead he hugged her tight by the stomach, his sobs getting pressed against her fabric making it wet, she ran her finger in his dark hair hushing him before the two of them wake up, “Shivaay stop crying, do you want them to wake up in the middle of the night and see their superhero cry like this?” she made him look at her as he sniffed.

“I Love them Annika, I can do anything for them”he said like a child trying to say that he is scared of losing his parents, Annika nodded, runnning her palm all over his pale face, “I can never see them suffer” he was in a daze trying to find himslef in which he was trapped. Annika still don’t know what was the reason that why he was behaving like this but still kept mum just nodding her head don’t know how to make him stop, he was blaberring like a mad man and she knew that it was futile to make him understand.

“I can never do wrong to them, you know that annika, don’t you?” he asked with such expectations, there was so much fear in his sparkling blue orbs of being wronged that it made her tremble with the intensity, who was he? he was not her Shivaay, he was not The SSO, he was some other guy she had never got the chance to encounter tilll today.

“Shivaay first let’s go from here” she begged him as she saw Omru turning in their sleep, “I know you don’t want them to be worried for you, do you?”

Shivaay just nodded negatively, rubbing off his tears fearing that they both might wake up. she with much difficulty made him come out of the room and closed the door softly behind them not before glancing a last look on them.

“You know what annika? Once Rudra got a high fever just because I was abroad for a bussiness trip which was longer then we expected” he talked about the trip as they moved towards their room, his voice heavy and hoarse due to constant crying “In truth I had to be there for one and a half month but because of it I was in mumbai before more then two weeks, do you think he will be able to live without me forever?”

This question made her look at him with suspicion, what the hell he is really talking about, “Shivaay nothing is going to happen to you, then why are you talking like this?”

She made him sit on the bed and sat beside him, holding his hands in a tight grip when a gasped escaped her mouth, she realized that his skin was icy cold, his face which was pale now turned bluish, with out any second thought she made him lie and covered him with the blanket, “Shivaay just wait I’m coming”as she stood up to go and bring an extra blanket he held her wrist and stopped her, she waited for his answer, “we don’t know what the future hold Annika, what if tommorow I will not be ther–” he was silence by the palm which landed straight on his lips,”Dare you say that again shivaay” her eyes were red due to the tears that flooded there.

Sighing she remove her palm and took his cheeks in her soft palm,”Tell me Shivaay what’s troubling you? you are scaring the hell out of me” she asked for the final time but didn’t got any response, he was staring at nothing particular but after a minute he started, “Annika what if I take any wrong decision would you leave my side?” without any doubt she nodded negatively, “No never because I know you can never be wrong”

“Omru will understand it?” he asked again with the same blank expression but his eyes were begging her something, maybe asking her to say yes, she nodded, “yes they are the one who will first at be your side, even before me” she whsipered trying to remove the fear that had captured his mind and soul.

“Really” he wasn’t able to believe it, “Yes Shivaay, neither me nor they are going to leave you”

“Now sleep you need to rest, see your condition” saying so she grabbed another blanket and pulled in over the first one and massaged his hair, he fumbled something under his breath and slept, while she stayed like that the whole night checking on his temperature and by god graious he was back to normal. She didn’t asked much to him at night thinking that when he is alright in the morning she will ask him about it.

When her eyes opened she was on the bed, with the blanket wrapped securely around her and she didn’t knew when she slept because last she knew that it was 5 in the morning when his temperature came back to normal.

Looking around she saw he was not in the room, standing up she tried to call him but he didn’t picked up the call just left a message that he is now feeling good and had went to the office for some important work and will be back soon.

Annika stood beside shivaay with tearful eyes, she holded his hands tightly while the other was holding a suitcase, “I’m with you Shivaay, no matter what” Shivaay nodded with gratitude in his eyes for her, his masks at the verge of falling off as they moved out of the house and then she knew why he was behaving so wierdly last night.

That devil of a lady will surely give that record tape to the Media and he never in his wildest dream is going to let her do this beside his promise to his Badi Maa was worth keeping, he is not a son who will disrespect his mother’s order, even if she is not his mother by blood but from childhood, the respect, the admiration with which he look upon her never made him realize that she wasn’t his own mother. Jhanvi on the other hand never distinguised between Shivaay and her three childrens, they were equal for her in all aspects and for her Shivaay was her first son.Janvi was broken when Shivaay did all this and in the fit of rage she asked him to leave this house.

He will do anything for his brother and family, even if it costs him to leave this house he will do this.

Whatever was his decision she was with him no matter what and so she choosed her husband above everything and they left.

The mery thought of living without his brothers made him Insane and frightened but now at this very moment doing it in reality was devastating.

He Lost Everything.

He Lost Himself.

But he had her by his side

#10-Dil Wali Gali

Gauri was impatiently waiting for the red traffic light to turn green as she was sitting on her Vespa, she was already late for office but sadly the traffic light just intended to get her more late, it was 100 seconds until green light.

As she moved her eyes around waiting, irritated, her eyes fell on the rear view mirror of her vespa, a half cut side portion of someone sitting in an auto had been caught in the mirror,his open hair fluttering in the wind, Gauri adjusted her mirror and Vespa in such a way to get the complete view of him from the rear view mirror.

50 seconds-indicated the red light timer.

A smile captured Gauri’s till now dull face as she kept looking at the boy’s worried, impatient face.

Impatiently sitting in the auto, waiting for the red light to turn green, Omkara moved his eyes around when they landed on the most beautiful creation of the universe-his artistic heart thought, on Gauri whose face was visible to him in the very mirror she was looking at him from, smiling, he himself had a smile dance on his lips.

It was 25 seconds until green light.

They both kept looking at each other, into each other’s eyes through the mirror as the mirror acted as a catalyst to their love story, they both fell in love at the ever so irritating red light signal.

3…2…1-Greenlight.

The auto started bringing RiKara out of their eyelock, “Wait…” Omkara said as the auto was just next to Gauri’s Vespa, he didn’t really had a reason to stop it though.

“Bhaiyaa, Can you help me find my way?” Gauri asked the auto driver, finding an opportunity, sitting on the Vespa itself.

“Where you have to go, Madam?” He asked as Gauri looked at Om who was already looking at her.

“Dil Wali Gali…” Gauri smiled still looking at him, they were again lost in an everlasting eyelock, this time without mirror though.

Shivaay and Anika sleep peacefully on the bed , shivaay cuddles her stomach very cutely ,,Anika wakes up and see her hubby like this she ruffles his hair place a warm kiss on his forehead came down from the bed  ,she moves towards ansh crib whr Aryan and ansh both r sleeping peacefully Anika move towards bathroom now ,she standing infront of mirror and see her glowing face and. Caresses her belly  then she gets ready and came out from the bathroom

Shivaay is still sleeping ,she sit besides him and teasehim with her wet hairs ,he smiled in sleeping and pull her in the hug

A- shivaay carefully ,I think u forgot that I’m pregnant

S- sorry Jaan ,I got appointment so u get ready we have to leave from 3 pm

A- but shivaay ansh and Aryan

S- ya we can’t take them in hospital , u don’t worry I’ll call on and Gauri they will take care of them

A- u get up and get ready I’ll make breakfast

S- r u mad why r u making breakfast I’ll do it and listen me carefully for the upcoming 9 months u will do not touch or do anything

A- ( she laughed on him) pagal ho gye h kya

S- tumhare kaam k chhakar me ansh ki delivery premature huyi thi ,jiske wajah se iski immunity week h and I’ll take any chance this time do u get that ,tumhe meri or ansh ki kasam

A- shivaay but who did all this work if I’m not

S- Anika I told u ,and last night doctor also told you that you are week so u should conserve your energy and u feeding ansh.

A- shivaay it’s not a big deal , and what about ansh u know very well he doesn’t feed on milk powder and u don’t take any stress I’ll eat double relax pls

He calms a bit and takes Aryan on his lap and starts feed him Anika forward her hand to take a bite shivaay just stops her hand

S- I’ll tell u , you didn’t do anything ,I’ll feed u

Shivaay feeds everyone one by one first Aryan then Anika  then his little munchkin and one by one they all feed shivaay,,, suddenly door bell rings

He opens the doors and omrugauri standing on the door they came in and rudra just sit on the table and joins them in the breakfast table

R- Bhabhi feed me

Party started and Ragini went to shivay but he just said a Hii to her and left…. She got angry that he wasn’t even looking at her properly. Media had also arrived, tej wanted to Ragini to talk to them but she wasn’t there….. He asked shivay to get her so he went behind her…. he knocked the door and entered the room, it was dark everywhere…. Suddenly the whole room got lighten up and another second shivay saw Ragini on her knees holding a ring in her hand…., ” I love you shivay!!” she confessed with a broad smile on her face…., ” I know you must be thinking how and when? But don’t worry all these feelings are real. I was going to marry om but in real I had fell for you at first sight… I can’t tell you how much happy I get to know that om and I are not going to get engaged…. Trust me it’s a signal from God that we r made for each other… Now just marry me and let us be the bestest couple!! ” she kept her proposal in front of him….,” no!!….. I mean Ragini….That’s not possible… See I don’t want to hurt you but it’s not possible, I can’t be with you… ” he said while taking pauses, her smile fell from her face….,” Ragini I don’t know what made you think all these things but believe me I never thought of all this….. Please don’t be upset…. ” he said with a fear of breaking her heart….,” hey don’t say that shivay…. See I know u need time to know me and I have no problem with it… I promise we will spend some time with each other and whenever u will feel like we will tell about relationship to our family…. ” she said calmly. Shivay nodded his head horizontally and moved back…,” ragini it’s nothing like that…. I really don’t want to get into relationship… Please try to understand… U are a nic girl u will get someone else but not me… ” he said and turned to go. She caught his hand and stopped him….,” arr baba I am saying na koi jaldi nhi Hai just take your time and then we’ll decide about marriage and all…. Ok ” she said. Shivay felt like not able toh make her understand his point of view…,” why are you not understanding Ragini? I don’t want to have any relationship with you…. Nothing…. Because I don’t feel anything for you…. Did you understand? Now please excuse me… ” he shouted and left.
Ragini’s pov
What does that mean?…. U said u don’t feel anything but what about me…. I want you and I will get you… That’s it!! Whether u agree or not u will become mine and just mine…. Ragini said with anger and adamancy to get shivay.
Shivay came out and stood alone when someone patted his back…, ” hey shivay how r you baby?” a girl spoke and hugged him. Shivay smiled and hugged her back…, ” I am fine Tia and how are u? And what about Robin? How is he doing?” he asked…., ” he is totally alright! And me too but it seems like my friend is kinda upset. Shivay just gave a smile and denied to her…,” it’s nothing like that Tia… ”
Ragini entered the party again and started searching for shivay when she saw shitia talking and she started walking towards her.
” Aww…. So u won’t share with it with your best friend? That’s not fair shivay baby!” Tia said and kept her hand on shivay’s shoulder. Later she started cracking some jokes to cheer up shivay and they both indulged in their collegetime memories convos. Meanwhile Ragini stopped seeing them sharing smiles and hifis. Their bonding didn’t go well with her. Anger was continuously raising in her eyes and she asked for drink from waiter…., ” how dare him? Abhi toh keh raha tha mujhse relationship nhi Kar Sakta aur yaha iss ladki ke saath Kya Kar raha hai?…. Ohhhh so he rejected Ragini Khanna for this girl…. Okkkk now I understood why he didn’t get attracted towards me… U didn’t do it right shivay… U didn’t…. ” she spoke and broke the glass in her hands.
Later Ragini called rudra to call Tia on terrace. Rudra went to Tia….,” Hii lady baba! Makdi is calling u…. ” he said….,” Makdi?? Rudy who is that? ” Tia asked confusingly…..,” Ohhh sorry I mean Ragini… Ussi ke liye toh yeh party di Hai Papa ne… She is the one who has come back from US!! ” rudra said…,” Ohhh but why is she calling me I mean I don’t know her that much… ” Tia said with a smile. Rudra raised is shoulders signing that he doesn’t have any idea….,” Okkkk let me ask her… By the way where is she? ” Tia asked….,” Terrace! ” rudra said. Tia nodded and went to the terrace.
Later shivay felt some strange feeling and he looked around and found Ragini nowhere. He remembered her proposal…,” where is she? I wish she got my point. ” he sighed with a tensed face….,” shivay have u seen rudra? I had asked him to send me the some details but he is no where…. ” Janvi came and asked shivay….,” rudra? No I don’t have any idea about him… Kahi party enjoy Kar raha hoga… ” he said….,” can u please get him to me… It’s something urgent to talk to him…” Janvi requested and shivay nodded with a smile. He went to search rudra but didn’t find him anywhere. Soon he had searched him for every where when a waiter told him that he had seen him going towards terrace and shivay followed to the terrace.
The party was going on when Ragini came running to the party. She was breathing heavily, everyone got shocked seeing her like this…., ” tej uncle… Janvi aunty… Aap Sab jaldi chaliye…. Wohhhh…. Wohhhh terrace par…. Please… Jaldiiii chaliye…” she said and pretended to be hell scared. They all ran to the terrace and got shocked seeing the scenario, even Ragini was he’ll shocked after what she saw…., ” shivayyyy….. Yeh tune Kya kiya?” pinky spoke and fainted….., ” pinky get up… Shivay what you did?” Janvi said while holding pinky.
Flashback paused
Shivay stopped speaking when anika carresed his shoulder…, “shivay what happened? What had happened at the terrace? Please boliye na…. Please…..” she insisted him to speak when shivay closed his eyes and tears fell on ground…., ” i killed Tia….. Maine Tia ko maar daala…. I had killed my best friend” he said and burst out crying…., ” I killed her anika…. I killed my best friend….” he was crying senselessly and tears were flowing from Anika’s eyes seeing him…., ” what are you saying shivay? Wait a min… Please stop crying…. Please and tell me what had happened? I am sure u can’t kill anyone shivay…. U can’t….” she wasn’t ready to believe what he said just now and insisted him to speak the truth….., ” Sach Yehi hai… Maine hi Maara hai Tia ko and because of this my all family left me…. None of them want to see a murderer’s face…. They hate me… They just hate me…” he said crying vigorously. Anika didn’t say anything seeing him like this and embraced him in her arms….,” I don’t know why are you saying this…. But I know there is something else…. ” she spoke…..,” Billu Kab tak chupayega uss baat ko puttar? ” dadi came with tearful eyes. Shivay saw her and ran to her…..,” dadi please u won’t speak anything. Anika got up and came to him…., ” please swear on me that u won’t say anything to anika and not only anika… U won’t say this to anyone….” he kept her hand on his head. Dadi felt Helpless and looked down…., ” and anika ( shivay turned towards her) I don’t know what will be your decision… The thing is I didn’t want to hide anything related to my past and specially from U so I have confessed everything…. Sorry I can’t tell u anything more so now as much as I have told u, on the basis of that u have to decide whether u will accept this murderer or not… That’s why I didn’t confess before and now u know everything about me so the decision will be yours and fully yours” he said while wiping off his tears. Anika didn’t say anything and looked into his eyes and remembered about his health issues….
Anika’s pov
No anika…. U can’t tell him anything about your health, he is already alone and after what all happened with him he won’t be able to take this…. I won’t reveal anything to him… Atleast for now I have to hide my problem…. I have become his strength not his weakness….
Seeing anika not replying to him, shivay thought her answer negative for him…., ” it’s ok anika if u have any problem with my past, then u don’t have to take any decision…. I know tum bahut achi ho but I don’t want u to take any decision out of sympathy…. It’s totally alright, only I had told u to choose happiness so if it’s no from your side… I have no worries… Just be happy!! that’s why I didn’t say what actually had to be said…. ( he smiled)… Hmm at last i would say u are a true friend anika… Thank u for coming in my life… Thanks!! ” he said with eyes full of sadness and face faking a satisfying smile.
Even now anika didn’t speak anything to him and was looking at shivay….,” anika puttar mera Billu…. ” dadi was about to speak something when shivay stopped her….,” it’s late now… Dadi I think u should take some rest and anika i also go and take rest…. ” he said and took dadi to her room.
Anika started walking and reached outside oberoi mansion, Malika was waiting for her outside and as soon as she saw anika walking out she ran to him….,” anika… Thank God u came… Okkkk did you tell him? What did he say anika?…. Is he alright?… ” she asked while clutching her shoulders. Anika was not in her senses and keep standing like statue….,” hey ani… I am asking u something…. Will say what he said? I know he loves u a lot…. He must be broken right? ” she again asked with a thin layer of water in her eyes…..,” why are you quite ani? Arr Kuch toh bolo Kya kaha shivay ne? Ani tumne usse Bataya? ” Malika tried her level best to ask her but she wasn’t ready to speak anything when malika felt angry on her…,” Okkk so u won’t tell me right? I will ask him only…. Then u will be OK right? ” Malika said and started walking inside….,” Malikaa…. ” finally anika spoke her name. She stopped And came back to her…., ” hmm….. Ani bolo…. See Sab Thik ho jayega aur shivay haina tumhare saath… Main bhi toh hoon…” she said and hugged her…., ” Malika please go back home!” anika said…., ” what? When my own family didn’t even once denied to what they saw then how could I expect from anika…. U know what dadi for even now I feel that she trusts me but when she didn’t say anything, I got sacred that what if she said no… I can lose my love but not my friendship ! And on the top of it it was my mistake that I forgot everything about my past and just fell for her but I don’t know what happened to me? Here anika reached on road and kept walking aimlessly…. Tears were continually spilling out of her eyes…her all mind was thinking about shivay….

Why me? Whyyyyy it’s always me? First I couldn’t say him anything for such a long time…… I kept myself away from him following what maa said…. Agreed to marry veer…. Maa insulted him…. Never believed that even he can fall me though he…. Decided to end my life but he saved me…. Finally we two started getting close to each other but see now where I am…. I don’t know how much time do I have? I didn’t know that I was suffering from this disease aur pata bhi Kab chala Kab Sab Thik ho chuka tha… When we were about to get close to each other…. And the destiny again played its dirty game…. Within few seconds it snatched everything from me and now when I decided to tell him about all this…I came to know about harsh experiences…… He misses his family…. He is hiding something from this world…. He has so many problems in his own life and I was about to put mine also on him…. She sat crying on the road….
She kept on cursing her destiny for her situation meanwhile breaking down on the middle of the road…. Her tears were not ready to stop…. Song played…

Shivaay was all-in-all anger with what happened in morning…the full day, he didn’t talk to anyone neither had food…he was laying upon the top of house gazing the sky over his hands as a pillow…he was thinking over and over about the incident happened in morning..

“Arrey bhayya….” His sight got disturbed and tuned back to see Raju climbing with the support of the tree all tired…Shivaay sat properly making his shirt good..Raju neared Shivaay and sat next to him with a thud making the roof quake a bit…

“Raju!!!!!!!!…. “ screamed Rejini from kitchen..

“ mannikku Amma….( sorry Amma…) he winked a bit..Shivaay smiled to this mother-son antics..

“ thank God, at least you smiled..” Raju gave a full watt smile…” what happened Bhayya, subhah se dekh raha hoon…why you’re all down? You should be happy now as Akka is happy with Rohit bhayya’s arrival..”Shivaay’s face went angry hearing his name..

“lo..phir se angry mood mein..why you’re so jealous with him? Ooh I forgot..he’s Akka’s mamma..so you should be jealous and angry..”  he showed logic wala sign..Shivaay with a confused face stared him..

Shivaay “ what do you mean Anika’s mamma? I thought that he’ll be her friend or someone else.. And why I should be jealous if he’s her mamma?”

Raju “ hawwwww…he closed his mouth…don’t you know of being one’s mamma?”

Shivaay “what? “  he was on the peak of curiosity…

Raju “ aww my illiterate bhayya…being one’s mamma means he can marry her..” he added petrol to the fire…

Raju “ haa bhayya…Rohit bhayya is Akka’s chachi’s son… so it’s obvious that he’s Akka’s cousin..but we people say that such relations could be accepted for marriage…that’s why we’re saying mamma…didn’t you hear Akka calling him muscle mamma…if you hadn’t come between them then Rohit bhayya would have married her…” Shivaay was now loosing his patience…he heard few laughing noises from Anika’s room…there he saw Rohit Anika and gauri playing cheerfully…Shivaay stood from there and jumped down full fumed…he went near the well and wandered there smacking his head…Raju controlled his smile and slid down through the tree…

“Bhayya, it’s ok…now he’s just her cousin..relax…” Raju rubbed his elbow

Shivaay “kaise?? Kaise relax hongi mai? Anika ne mujhe bhi aisa hug nehi kiya hai…and..and didn’t you see how happy she was..can’t believe it’s happening with me…she hugged him and..and..he’s…he reciprocated it…O God!!! Why!!!” he twirled around with his hands on head..he rotated twice and got stopped seeing Anika all stunned, with trey in her hand…Shivaay closed his mouth and walked from there not to face her expressions..he sat on the rock resting his hands on knee..Anika gazed Raju who showed a thumbs down..Anika understood the matter and hid a smile…she sat next to Shivaay placing the trey aside… Shivaay ignored her moving far…she still being stubborn moved to him..

“mmch..kya hai Shivaay…aisa kya kiya hai maine jo aap mujhe dekh thak nehi rahi hai….”  Shivaay didn’t respond..Anika got angry…

Anika “ok fine…you’re angry with me right? Chalo teek hai…but have this food at least..Kakki said that you didn’t have anything…I’ve brought your favorite pasta..kuch mushkil dha..but made it..have it and say…”

Shivaay “ you made it? Then it’ll be the worst one..”

Anika “hawww..how mean..mai ithna bhi boori cook nehi hoon..have it…” she showed the plate but he moved farther which irritated Anika more.. “dekho Shivaay..I’m getting angry now..what’s your prob?huh? “

Shivaay “now what happened to you? Anika just let me be ok..I’m so enraged now..so please leave me alone..waise now you’ve that Rohit with you na so what the need of me? “

Anika “huh? From where Rohit came? Shivaay, what are you saying? I really don’t understand anything…”

Shivaay “O please Anika..don’t ty to be a mother Theresa..Raju told me what kind of relation you both are having..and..

“will you say? “ he asked huskily..she looked deep into his eyes…she noticed that now his kanchi eyes were turning into blue from grey…she hummed unknowingly…

“then say Anika…” he made his voice an airy one…

Shivaay “hmm..same here..even I love to irritate you..” Anika’s smiled vanished the next moment..she looked down murmuring.. “jo dil mai hai boltha kyu nehi hai yeh..”

Shivaay “ even you aren’t confessing what’s in your dil..” Anika looked him shocked but tried to make the moment ease…

Anika “ if there’s anything, then I would definitely have told….”

Shivaay “ means , you don’t have any type of feelings for me? Thumhari dil mai kuch bhi nehi hai? “ he shooted the question which made Anika confuse..she got out from his hold and moved few steps back..

Anika “look..i don’t have any time for all these… Appa and sithappa will come home at any time.. I’ve to go..before that have this food…I made this specially for you….” She took the trey and offered it to him..he looked her and started his job…

He rubbed his tummy with a satisfied face “ mai ne tho bhohuth pehle hi khaaya dha..” Anika’s mouth took a perfect O shape with full shock…

Anika “ kya?? You..you already ate???? How..how can you…uurrrrgghhhh…I’m such a fool to take food for you…how could you lie??

Shivaay “ O hello, why will I stay starved just for you and Rohit..never..” he brushed his fingers over hair… Anika smiled through her anger..

“ chalo, you ate right? That’s enough for me…well, I’ll take leave now…” she smiled and walked crossing him…suddenly she got stopped..she arced her face sidewards…

“ thumhei kya lagtha hai, I won’t understand that you haven’t eaten anything..” his voice sharply hit her ears…her eye-brows got straight and gazed back…he faced her and held her both hands…

“I know Anika, you haven’t eaten anything..”

Anika “ how come you know that?”

Shivaay “ I can read you face Anika…and I know, you can’t eat anything knowing that I’m empty stomached…now come and have food…” he pulled her but she resisted..

Anika “nehi Shivaay, it’s ok..i’ll have from home.. “

Shivaay “NO!! be a good girl and have it..chalo..” he made her sit over the rock and took the trey to feed her..she looked the plate and interfered..

Anika “ Shivaay, voh..i don’t eat this..i made this for you…I don’t eat such items..it’s ok Shivaay, I’ll have from home..”

Shivaay “Anika, I said it..sit here and have food…and who told you that I’m gonna feed you this pasta? “

Anika “ yaha tho sirph yehi hai..”

Shivaay “ tho kyat hum Aloo-puri nehi khavogi?? “ he smiled saying..Anika’s face lighted up..

“kya??? Aloo-puri??? Where?” she couldn’t hide her excitement…

“here it comes..” came the voice from Raju.. Shivika looked him all happy..Raju placed the plate on the rock and saluted Shivaay..

Raju “here you go Sir..ma’am, please have your food..” he addressed himself as an officer..

Shivaay “wah Raju..kamaal kar diya thune…”

Raju “ sir, jo aap dil mein sochthe hai, voh mai aasmaan mein dekhtha hoon…” he saluted and walked back with sharp feet..Shivika smiled cutely visioning the cute antics of their brother..

Shivaay “hmm….chalo, now hot food is here so do you still want to go home or….”

Anika “ Shut up ok…why should I go home? This is my village..i’ll stay wherever I want to..she said trying to snatch the plate from him..

Shivaay “uh..uh..uh..not so easy..first control your adivity..water will fell from your mouth…

Anika “haa..haa..haa..very funny!! She made cute faces while Shivaay was enjoying his wife’s childishness…he took a piece of poori and folded it with masala inside and neared it to her while same time she was to have it by her own…they got frozen for few sec

Shivaay “ won’t you eat by my hand? “ he requested for which Anika couldn’t deny..she nodded and he smiled…he made her eat it while Anika, like a 5 year kid obeyed his words..

Shivaay “ you know something Anika, dadi called me today morning…everyone is missing you out there…she was saying that….” He was lost with his dialogues while Anika was gazing him with a thin layer of water in her eyes..

She was still lost in her thoughts when Shivaay made a hilarious sound of laughing between his talk..she looked him deep equally with emotions…

“Anika, mom was saying that she wants to meet her bahu..arrey what to answer, her bahu is so busy with everything except me..just kidding but must say Anika that…..” his words got full stop when a pair of hands wrapped around him…Anika hugged him tightly resting her head over his chest..Shivaay got shocked with this response…

Shivaay “Anika…?.Anika..kya hua? Did I say anything wrong? What happened?” he wrapped his hands over her and caressed her hair..

Anika “ Shivaay..Shivaay aap bhohuth achhi hai…

Shivaay “huh?? Aisa kya kiya hai maine?? Anika are you ok?? Anika….” He tried to pull her out but her grip on him got tight.. “Achha Anika, bathao ki hua kya? “ he brushed her hair and relaxed her..she slowly moved back and held his hand..

“nothing..just went to few thoughts…” she snuffed bit “voh actually….umm..no one has fed me food by their hand that too Aloo-puri “…she smiled… “never…so..just yep..” she hid her past to Shivaay…Shivaay wasn’t satisfied with this answer…he cupped her face and made her look into his eyes…

“Anika…I didn’t mean to hurt you..”

Anika “huh? From where this hurt came? Shivaay, I’m sooo happy…don’t know to express that…” she controlled her tears not to come in front of him  “ Shivaay, I’ll take leave now…”  she, without hearing an answer, turned to leave when Shivaay held her wrist….he stood up placing the plate aside…

Shivaay “Anika, it just has been a few days that, I’ve entered into your life..but from the day when I have, I’ve seen a lot many problems in your life…Anika, I..I’m your husband…but..but I really donno anything about you..and you aren’t even saying anything…I’ve seen pain in your eyes… and lot many complications..you and your mom aren’t talking to each other..behaving like, both are enemies.. and….”

Anika “and…you’re soooo caring..” she smiled and pulled his cheeks…Shivaay didn’t know how to respond back…

Shivaay “hey, here I’m so worried for you and you’re making fun of me? “

Anika “ it’s just that, you look so cute while caring….Shivaay, first of all, I’m so happy that you’ve noticed my life..that’s way too big for me and to talk about me..humm….problems are there..but we say na, there will be solutions where problems will be..so I’m just waiting for the solution to come..everything will be fine..I’m sure…”she smiled weakly making him to smile.. and she did succeed..

“waise ..you were looking good in that white dhotis..I must say..” she angled her hands on her hips and looked him tip to toe..

Shivaay “ thank God…you do know to adulate me..I’ve to say..if there was any award for the best booster then, it’ll will go to you..”

Anika “ huh? I’m not boosting..I really mean it..”

Shivaay “Oh really? But in morning, you said something else…not good or something?”

Anika “excuse me..it was you who told that..you said that I wasn’t looking good..” she made her face a puppy one

Shivaay “means it affects you..” he diagonalled  his head..

Anika “urrgh…I should better go..otherwise this baghadbilla will eat me off..” she cursed her praise and left like an angry lion..

“if I won’t eat my food, then will you come everyday to feed me??” he screamed with raised eye-brows..she stopped listening and a cute sa smile ruled her face..she turned and gave a pout with closed eyes…she ran from there before he could run and catch her…he smiled looking down and wrapped himself with his arms imagining hugging Anika…

Anika entered the house fully happy..he opened the door but before she could enter someone caught her ears and pulled her in..

“Arrey, thu chori…” there comes a cute and deep voice..Anika was half on her eyes..she looked side and saw Rachana with puppy faces there…

Anika “O MY GOD!!!! look who I have here..” she moved to hug but..

Rachana “oyye oyye..don’t wanna show your concern..if you had then you would have come and meet me the first..but you saw me the last..you don’t love you chachi..”

Anika “huh? who told that I don’t love you..arrey I tho love you the most..” she wrapped her hands over Rachana’s shoulder..

Rachana “hmm..now you’ve started to lie.. I know that you love that Shivaay more than me…” she made Anika blush..

Anika ” how come you know about him? and..and what are you saying chachi…he’s..”

Rachana “Anu..no..chutki told me everything..you’ve no way to escape..” she showed her index finger and warned her for which Anika silented herself…

Rachana “humm..but good boy he is…” Anika’s face glowed up..” chutki told about all the sacrifices he has done for you.. I’ve ,never seen such a love for anyone…he’s indeed a perfect partner..bhagwaan kare ki thum dhonoum zindgi bhar ek saath aur khush rahe…” Anika blushed a bit which didn’t go unnoticed by Rachana..

Rachana “oyye hoyye…dekho kaun blush kar raha hai…”

Anika “chachiiiii…you’re just like Rohit..how will I manage you both!!! she ran from there to escape from the up-coming questions of her cute chachi…Rachana smiled seeing her Anu so happy after long period of time..she changed her gazed and saw Raja and Raghav coming straight towards her…

Rachana “Anne, kya hua? you seemed to be tensed..

Raja “huh? Rachana? Oh..voh..I didn’t see you..when did you come? ”

Rachana “just few mins before…

Raghav “why didn’t you come along with Rohit?

Rachana “voh Anne,I had few works to do..she looked Raja who was sweating..Anne, you ok?? you’re sweating…shall I call doctor!!!

Gayathri opened the door and saw Raja fully sweated…she immediately brought the towel and rubbed his face..he moved to the mirror and vertically placed his hands over the table and made his hands the support to his fatigue..few drop of water dripped down from his eyes..Gayathri changed her sight to Raghav who was lost in his thoughts looking down..she moved closer to him and held him shoulder..

“Raghav, kya hua? Raja..Raja aisa chup kyu hai?? say something..”

Raghav “Akka, CHARLIE…HE..HE reducted the date!!!..” hearing this the floor slip from her feet..she couldn’t digest the fact..

“KYA!!!!!><!><!!!! means.??”

Raja “means, now it’s just 5 days left! !!! !!!!.. ” a shock silence ruled over the room..it was Gayathri who broke the silence first..

“mathlab..Anu…A..Anika ka kya hoga ab?”

Raghav “Anne, I’m still saying..we can disclose this matter to Shivaay….he definitely can find a solution for all this mess…” Raja was silent now…

Gayathri moved close to Raja ” dekho Raja..I know, that you’re very apt about Anu..and I agree that revealing this secret to anyone is not good..but Shivaay…he..he’s Anu’s husband…he has the full right on her..but he has never showed that right..this is his home..but he stays in Ramu’s house..why? coz he respects your words…he wants to take Anika back only with your and our wish…it’s been many weeks…aur kithna? today or any other day, he will get to know all these..he left all the luxurious and facilities just for Anika…aren’t we suppose to say this to Shivaay?? ” Raja moved towards the window and looked Shivaay through the mist who was sleeping over the rock without any blanket…

Anika was sitting on the veranda with legs surrounded by kitties…she was drawing a picture of lungs in her drawing paper placed over her leg…Shivaay was mixing the oil-cake for the cows..he saw Anika through the grass…he stood up and sat over the well to see his lady love..an unknown smile was over his face…Anika was totally indulged in her draw suddenly it lapsed when Rohit sat next to her with a thud…Shivaay’s expressions changed visioning him…Anika was disturbed by this..

Anika “Rohit!!! kyaa yaar!! you just spoiled everything..” she said rubbing the blot..

Rohit “Anu, leave all those..look this phone and say what’s the meaning …”

Anika “God!! you again started?? ”

Rohit “just say it ok..listen..” Unakku vere vellaye illeya?? ye..what’s this?..ye..yethukkage, yein pinnaleye van..vanthikkitte irukka??”  say what’s the meaning.. ” Anika bursted into laughter listening to this…. “Oh hello..just say what’s the meaning..no need to laugh much…” Rohit enraged..Shivaay who was seeing Anika enjoying with Rohit, too got angry…

Anika “first, say who messaged this..”

Rohit ” it’s that Maya..”

Anika “huh? Maya? but after her, Naina was the one right?”

Rohit “Oops!! forgot..it’s Naina…

Anika ” wait a sec..fix it whether is it Gayu or not?

Anika “hey, wasn’t Naira the last one?? ” she was controlling her laugh..Rohit got puzzled..suddenly he smacked his head and it got clicked..

Rohit “haa…haa..sure..sure now, say the meaning..” Anika laughed out loud..

Anika “she is saying that “don’t you have any other job? why you’re always behind me DUFFER!! ” Rohit stood up shocked followed by Anika…

Rohit” KYA!!!  she called me a duffer!!! now I will never talk to her..”

Anika “it’s Ok Rohit…I’ll have it later…” she moved crossing him..

Rohit “KYA !!! !! !! you’re saying no to Aloo-puri??? no way..

Anika “voh kya hai na..I’m so bored of having your Aloo-puri..” she walked more…

Rohit “means you got another person for making the dish?? ” he screamed..Shivaay’s ears were restless now..

Anika “YESSS…. much more better than you!! ” she walked more..

Rohit “Oh!! it’s that Shivaay Singh Oberoi..right??” Shivaay was impatient now…Anika stopped and smiled..

“NEHI !! ! ! …..” She screamed the reply…Shivaay’s face extinguished..he turned back hopelessly…Anika turned to complete her answer….

” MERA PATHI SHIVAAY..!! ! ! !!…..”she announced which made Shivaay fly up in sky..Anika smiled to Rohit and he too reciprocated it..she continued walking and vanished…but Shivaay’s happiness was beyond limit…he flew to kitchen and twirled Rejini and Ramu full joyfully…they were confused but were happy seeing him happy…

Shivaay looked at the limp form of Anika. His eyes swam with tears as he remembered the doctor’s words. “Shivaay, how do you know this lady?” he had gestured towards his room. “She’s our employee.” He had replied, hesitating a bit. “Look Shivaay, she’s physically weak. Her weight is quite less for a woman of her age; she has acute anemia and very high blood pressure. She’s probably claustrophobic as well, accordance to your words. She looks greatly stressed. Shivaay, if this health condition keeps continuing then, she’s under fatal risk. She needs better care and take the least of stress. I prescribe her full rest. Tell her husband to take care of her or he’ll probably lose her. Give her some days leave, beta.” He had patted his back before going away, but not before giving the last piece of advice “Drop the lady home and make her have the medicines at correct intervals.”

He sat holding her hand as she slept unconsciously and dozed off there itself. The rays of dawn fell on sleeping face of Anika and she scrunched her face, trying to keep away from the heat but, eventually, woke up. She saw sleeping, crumpled form of Shivaay, sleeping holding her hand, beside her; half- sitting on the floor.
She looked at his face; he looked pale, sleep- deprived and forlorn. She remembered how she had often compared their lives and how similar their situations had stricken her. Both had taken all the responsibilities without a complaint, at very young age, but for her they were dreams so she never felt tired of achieving and for him it was expectations so he, though tired, kept pursuing.
Shivaay felt her stir and woke up. “Good morning” she wished and once she got down the bed, he left, without even replying her for once. She sighed as she started her daily routine.
“Anika bhabhi have your medicines. They’re by your bed stead” said Priyanka as soon as breakfast was done with. “And who told you this?” asked Anika, starting to stash the dishes. “Shivaay bhaiya” Priyanka replied promptly. “Anika putter, tum theek to ho naa?” asked Daadi, worried at once. She feared their relation or health since her Anika puttar and Billu had married.

“Ji Daadi, I’m perfect. Billuji’s just overreacting a bit. I had a little fever last night and he’s acting as if I’m half dead” Anika laughed the matter away in front of Daadi. “Puttar, apna dhyaan rakh. Prinku, Anika, I’m going for a pilgrimage. I’ve told Pinky and Jhanvi. Tab tak tumlog sabka khyaal rakhna aur apna bhi. I’ve a flight in the afternoon.” “Ji Daadi” they replied in unison but as soon as Daadi exited the kitchen, Anika grabbed Prinku. “Tell your bhaiya I’m not having any medicines. Tell him to talk with me first.” With that, she marched out of the kitchen as a perplexed Prinku stared after her.
“How is this even possible?” Shivaay shouted at his attorney. “Sir, you yourself had instructed me to make sure this contract cannot be annulled by anyone” his lawyer said, shaking with fright. “Anyways, there is just a fortnight left for the contract to be over.” Shivaay left his collar and stormed to his car. Once inside, he covered his face and eyes with his palm, trying to control his raging breaths and heartbeat. “A fortnight left….” The words seemed to ring in his head.
A fortnight left for him to feel her presence in his room, just a fortnight to see her sleepy face, to see her laughing with all downstairs, to see her checking him out as he came to the room, shirtless, after bath. Just a fortnight left to see her breathing unevenly whenever he teasingly came near her, a fortnight left to see her folding clothes or pulling curtains in his room. A fortnight left to stare at her, to capture all her memories in his little heart forever. “Just a tiny fortnight….” He thought as he sped away, leaving behind a cloud of dust.

A call on Tej’s cell distracted him out of his thoughts. “Yes” he answered, with a certain level of authority in his voice. “Tej Oberoi?” a deep, husky voice came through the other side. “Speaking” he answered. “It’s me, Jai”. “Jai!? Hello, old mate. How have you been?” “I’m perfect. Man, we’re having a reunion the next Friday. Want to join?” Tej thought for a second before replying in positive. After a few minutes chat, they cut the call. Tej suddenly felt happy; happiness unrelated to business, achievement or money. Suddenly, he had the most perfect excuse and topic to talk to Jhanvi. He felt suddenly enthusiastic at the prospect of the conversation.
Gauri caressed their foreheads before they boarded on the train. Suddenly, Misha hugged her, tears spilling down her face, which reached up to her waist. Gauri sat down on her knees and kissed her whole face, crying herself. Abhi ran to her and hugged her tightly. “Mumma, we don’t want to leave. Please, mumma.” Gauri chocked by her own tears. “Mumma too doesn’t want to let you go but you must. I love you Abhi, I love you Mishu. I’ll come as soon as I can. Take of each other till then. Promise me you’ll take care.”

“We promise mumma” they replied together. “Mumma, you won’t forget us right? You’ll not leave us as maa and daddy?” Misha asked in a small voice. “Never, I’ll always be there for you both. Come on now, no crying. I’ll miss you two but you’ll come to stay with me at holidays. Take care of each other.” She instructed, trying to put on a brave façade, failing miserably. They nodded and hugged for the last time as the train whistled behind them.
She broke the hug and kissed them before putting them in the coach and in the able hands of the school’s faculty, who were taking a whole lot of kids from the city. She waved till the train left the station and disappeared out of sight in the dark. A sense of loneliness crept over her as she drove back home. The car seemed to quiet without the twins’ presence and the house felt more desolate than ever. Gauri curled in a ball and tried to sleep.
Anika sat exhausted in one of the corridor chair outside the OT. Saahil was inside that theatre since the last three hours and tension was mounting. On top of all that, Shivaay wasn’t there. Om tried calling him, so did Rudra, Soumya and Priyanka but he didn’t reply or respond. Saahil was underweight so doctor had made her sign the consent form before operation.
Unknowingly, in the moment of weakness, she teared up. All sat there, the whole younger Oberoi clan, other than Shivaay. Om, sensing her discomfort and disappointment, gestured the others to leave to which they nodded wisely and complied. Om sat down beside her and hugged her lightly. Anika, who needed a bit of support and comfort, leaned into him and soon dozed off.

The others returned not much later, and brought coffee which Om drank to stay awake. The green bulb outside the theatre glowed and Anika woke up at the same instant. The doctors came out and one of them stayed back to talk to them who eagerly awaited the news. “Congratulations Miss Anika, your brother is all right now. He needs to stay here for at least a month more for better care and physiotherapy but he will be on his legs soon, without any support.”
“Can we meet him now, doctor?” the question came from overly enthusiastic Rudra. “I’m afraid not tonight. His surgery was a major one and he is highly sedated. You can meet in the morning.” Shifting his attention towards Anika, who stood there silently with Om’s support, teary eyed; the doctor said “We’ll need to examine him once he’s conscious. After that, Miss… Mrs. Anika, we’ll need to talk.”

Shivaay smoked in the silence of the farmhouse, listless and desolate. He watched his cell phone vibrate again, Priyanka calling it showed. He watched until the call disconnected. He checked the phone; twenty missed calls from Soumya, Twenty six from Rudra, thirty four from Priyanka and fifty seven from Om. Hundreds of texts flooded his phone; but not a call or text from her.

“Is she not concerned? Probably, I should have extended the contract or hadn’t made the contract at all or hadn’t met her in the first place. I still can’t understand if the last year was more painful or this year, this moment is?” he kept pondering uselessly, numbly. “Perhaps I’m going crazy” he thought to himself.
“Will I be able to live, separated to her for lifetime?” he asked it aloud to himself. “Anikaaaa…..” he shouted her names and the walls of the farmhouse echoed and shouted the name back at him. He smiled a bitter sweet smile but the phone beeped as a voicemail message popped up and played automatically.
“Shivaay, it’s me, Om. Bhabhi has fallen unconscious and doesn’t look in the best shape. Prinku told me she refused to take her medicine in the morning. Rudra is calling the doctor. Come home if you can. Sorry to bother you. Take care.” The message ended. As soon as Shivaay’s muddled brain understood the message, he sprang to his feet. The only thing that ruled his brain was “Is Anika all right?”

CHAPTER 60

CITY HOSPITAL

Ishana is treated in emergency ward… Omkara is waiting at outside the ward in tension… The doctor came after a while… Omkara rush towards the doctor…

Om: Doctor, how is she?? Is she fine??

Doc: May I know what really happened to your wife??

Om: Actually, someone kidnapped her and we just find her today… Anything wrong with her??

Doc: (sighs) I don’t know what to say, Mr Oberoi… (Omkara looks worried) She is fine… But, poor girl… She has been brutally tortured for two three days… I think they didn’t give her any food for these days… She just faced an accident few weeks before… And, now this… I’m wondering how this girl strong enough to bear this pain… I don’t think anyone can be strong like her if they are in her situation… (Omkara closed his eyes in guilt) I hope the God will punish those who done this to her… I inject drips and liquid food for her to have some energy… Give her some food after going back…

Om: Can I see her, doctor??

Doc: Sure… You can see her… I’ll check her again after she gain consciousness… You can take her home if she is fine… (Omkara nods and goes inside the room… He sees her lying unconscious on the bed… He recalls last time she admitted when the chandelier fell on her… He cries silently looking at her… He sits beside her and holds her hand…)

Ishana opens her eyes weakly… Her vision is blurred and she closes back her eyes… She recalls Ashok’s act towards her… She gets scared and wakes up in jerk pulling her hand from Omkara’s hold… Omkara is shocked with her reaction… Ishana looks at him in surprise and cries… Omkara understand that she is in trauma of the incident… He hugs her and calms her…

Om: You are safe, Ishana… Nothing happened to you…

Ishu: (cries) Sorry… I thought it was him… He tried to… (Cries again) I thought he…. (Omkara places his finger on her lips)

Om: (kisses her forehead) He didn’t do anything… We didn’t let him to do anything… (Ishana hugs him)

Ishu: I thought that I will not be able to see you all again… (Thinks a while and breaks the hug) Did anni do as he asked?? I mean did she named the properties on his mother’s name?? How did you find me?? He said that you can’t find the place… Then, how??

Om: Shh… Relax… We will talk everything after we go back… Don’t strain yourself now… (Embrace her)

Ishu: I felt like I have been a regular patient for this hospital… Every month, I’m visiting here as a patient…

Om: (breaks the hug) Don’t say this again… This will be the last time you got admitted in hospital… I won’t let you to become a patient again… It’s enough for you to bear all the pain… (Ishana is overwhelmed listening to him… She remembers something and looks at him with tear filled eyes… She clutches his collar and started to cry… Omkara is confused looking at her…) What happened, Ishana?? Why are you crying??

Ishu: (pulls him closer) I need to say something to you…

Om: Ok… Tell me… (Ishana is about to open her mouth but the doctor enters the room… Omkara leaves her and gets up from the bed)

Doc: Sorry, Mr and Mrs Oberoi… I need to check your wife to make sure she is fine enough… (Omkara nods and about to go out) That’s ok, Mr Oberoi… You can stay here…
Omkara smiles and sits on the sofa looking at the doctor checking Ishana… Ishana just looks at him tearfully… He could see some pain in her eyes… He brushes off his thought that she is still in trauma due to her kidnap…

Doc: (towards Ishana) Did they hit you terribly??

Ishu: They just slapped me plenty of times and pull my hair… And today he tried to…. (Couldn’t complete the sentence… Omkara clenches his fist in anger…)

Doc: Relax… You are fine now… And you can go back to your house… (Ishana smiles) Have a good rest and proper food… (Ishana nods her head) Mr Oberoi, you can take your wife home… (Omkara nods and stands beside Ishana… The doctor smiles and leave from the room…)

Om: (sits beside her) You are going to say something just now… What was that?? (Ishana is about to say something but Omkara’s mobile rings that time… Omkara looks at the id…) Shivaay… I’ll go and answer his call first… You take rest first… (Ishana nods and Omkara leaves to answer the call… Ishana looks on with tear filled eyes…)

RAICHAND MANSION

Everyone are waiting at the living room… The Oberois are there as well…

Kalyani: Why they didn’t come yet??

Annika: They will come, daadi… Please don’t be tensed… Shivaay is talking with Om… Don’t worry…

Savi: Madhu and Karthika too didn’t come yet… I hope that Ashok doesn’t do anything to that girls…

Nivi: (brings a plate with fruits) Don’t worry about them, daadima… Karthika is equal to a man… She knows to handle that Ashok… Have this fruits first… (KalSav have the fruits)

Tia: I don’t understand one thing… How MaKar got to know about Ishu’s place??

Soumya: We don’t know… We reached the main entrance here just now… Suddenly, they came and drag bade baalwale bhaiya with them… Where they went and how, we know nothing about it…

Rudra: And Madhu called suddenly and said that they saved bhabhi… So confusing…

Shivaay: (comes there with the guys) I talked with Om… He is at hospital with Ishana… He will be coming with her in a while…

MaKar enter the house with Ashok… All stare at him in anger… RaDuKa pull him and throw him down… They are going to hit him but stop buy Siddharth…

Sid: Wait!! Let Ishu come… He made our Ishu to suffer three days… Ishu must see him suffer as well…

Ashok: (smirks) These many men in this family but you can’t protect a girl… You only can talk big that no one can near her when you are with her… But, what happened?? Where your protective nature lost when I kidnapped her?? You are not capable to hit me and make this girl to beat me…

Karthika: (become angry and holds his collar) A girl is enough to hit a creep like you… But, you deserve more than that… Everyone here will give their shares to you… (Pushes him on the floor)

IshKara enter inside the house… The Raichands run towards Ishana and hugs her… SweNiTiMi kiss all over her face… Savitri hugs her and cries…

Ishu: Don’t cry, daadima… I’m fine…
Savi: (cups her face and sees slap marks on her cheek) My kid suffered a lot these days… We can’t do anything to save you…

Ishu: Please, daadima… Don’t blame yourself… See, now I’m safe.. (NiTiMi console Savitri)

Ishana turn towards ArSidRaDuKa… They too hug her and kiss her forehead…

Ishu: Bhaiya, jiju, I’m fine…

Arjun: Sorry, Ishu…

Ishu: Don’t say sorry, bhaiya… I expected that to happen…

Arjun goes to Ashok and pulls him towards Ishana… Ishana winced a little looking at him but Omkara holds her hand assuring her that nothing will happen…

Arjun: (looks at Rudra) Rudra, remember last time you asked Ishu to call us bhaiya, bhabhi, didi and jiju?? But, she refused to call us like that… Do you know why?? (Rudra shakes his head) You will know the reason now… (He punches Ashok’s face) Because it’s our code word… (Punches again) She will call us like that whenever she is in danger… (Punches again) Whenever she is in pain… (Punches again) Whenever she is helpless… (Punch again) Whenever she needs us… (Pushes him towards Siddharth)

Siddharth: (kicks him on his stomach) Till now none of us laid our hand on her but you hit her mercilessly without caring that she is already wounded… (Kicks him again and shouts) This is for trying to molest her three years ago… (All look at him in shock… He turns towards RaDuKa) What are you thinking?? How do I know about that?? I knew it that night itself… I controlled my anger that time and pretend to know nothing about it…

Arjun: (pulls Ashok from Siddharth) You tried to molest my sister?? (He is about to punch him again but before that a slap lands on Ashok’s cheek… All turn and Swetlana burning in anger staring at Ashok… Arjun hugs her arms and calms her… He handed Ashok back to Siddharth…)

Sid: (Holds Ashok’s neck) It was my plan to send you here… That’s why I told that they are staying at Oberoi Mansion… (Another shock for all of them) I know that your mother won’t keep quiet after released from the prison… She must plan to destroy the Oberois… I planned to trap both of you and that’s why I sent you here… But, what I don’t understand is what is your enmity with Ishu that you kidnapped her?? After your call yesterday, I realised that Ishu knew about the property documents… (Pushes him and he fell on the girls feet)

Nivi: (steps on his hand) This is for hitting our Ishu… We too never laid our hand on her… Who the hell are you to hit our sister??

Tia: (steps in his stomach) This is for making her starve for three days… We never let her cry for food since she small… But, you make her starve for three days…

Mithra: (slaps him hard) This is for lusting over my sister and tried to manhandle her…

Madhu: And this is for trying to molest Ishu again just now… (NiTiMiMa throws chilli powder on his eyes… He screams in pain… The Oberois just watch silently and let the Raichands express their anger which they are hiding since three days…)

Ishana shivers listening to his scream… ShiOmRu hug her and calm her… They know how much Ishana hated a person, she won’t prefer violence towards them… But, Ashok deserves this… That’s why Siddharth asked them to stay by Ishana’s side… Swetlana throws water on his eyes to get rid of the pain of his eyes… She pulls him and tries to drag him… Arjun helps Swetlana and drags him towards Ishana…

Swet: What you always say about Ishu?? She is sold for Rs 500 because she is not worth more than it… Right?? Why?? Because she is wearing simple dresses and accessories?? You know something?? She is the most dearest among all of us here… (Takes out Ishana’s chain from her neck) This chain is not a simple silver chain with normal stones… It’s a platinum chain with diamonds studded on it… (Ashok looks at her in shock) And it’s not a normal diamond… It’s PINK STAR DIAMOND… The world’s most expensive diamond!!! I and Arjun designed and ordered specially for our Ishu… (Ishana looks at her in shock while NiTiMi stand beside her proudly) Now, you know her value?? How priceless she is… Dare to say that word again about her…

Raghav: We supposed to kill you when you tried to molest Ishu three years back… But, we spare you for Swetlana di…

Dush: We won’t beat you, Ashok… I think our wives treatment are enough for you… You lost the minute you kidnapped Ishu and tortured her…

Karan: Being a girl, she makes us proud to be a man… But, being a man, you make us to feel ashamed to be a man… (Sighs feeling ashamed)

Ishu: Jiju, don’t compare you and him… He doesn’t deserve to call as a man…

Dush: (hugs her arm) Ishu is not just a sister in law firm us… Usually, people used to say that wife’s sister is like half of wife… But, Ishu changed the statement… If brother’s wife is like a mother, sister’s husband is like a father… We were treating her as a sister… But, the moment she said like that, we started to treat her as our daughter…

Raghav: That is why she is very precious for our family…

Karan: And till now we never regret that we are not having a child… Because we are having her as our child…

Ashok: Three of you will speak like this only… After all, you three are living in your wives house as ghar jamai… (Another slap land on his cheek… He turns and sees Ishana shooting daggers on him through her eyes…)

Ishu: How dare you to say like this about my jijus?? (Pulls his collar angrily) Do you think they are like you?? Greedy on others properties?? They never took single penny from our family… They succeed in their lives through their own hardwork only… Not like you and your mother who only knows to snatch others rights… My jijus are true men… They never have a baby till now just for me… You won’t understand the bond we are sharing… (RaDuKa calm her down)

Swet: It’s no use talking to him, Ishu… People like him won’t understand the value of a family… They only know to destroy a family… (Hugs Ishana)

Sid: Shivaay, it’s your turn now… (Shivaay walks towards him doing his signature style)

Shivaay: Where is your mother??

Ashok: I won’t tell you…

Shivaay: Better you tell me or you will see the worst of myself…

Ashok: Just do whatever you want but you can’t get a single word from my mouth…

Shivaay: We’ll see… (Shouts) Khanna!! (Khanna came) Take him to our custody… Don’t give him a drop of water… Make him starve just like he did to Ishana… He has to be with us till we get that Kamini… (Khanna agrees and about to leave with Ashok)

Karan: Wait a while, Khanna… (Goes to his room and brings an injection with him… (He injects on Ashok’s hand and he become unconscious) I gave anesthesia to him… He won’t be conscious for another two hours… You can take him now… (Khanna leaves with Ashok)

Shivaay: (towards Ishana) I’ll make food for you…

Ishu: No, sir… We have to catch that Kamini first…

Om: We will catch that Kamini… You eat first…

Ishu: Catch that Kamini first… I will eat after that happily… Please… Few more truths need to be revealed… Then only I can eat peacefully… Please… (Shivaay kisses her forehead and hugs her… It’s first time Shivaay hugs Ishana… Ishana feels she got another brother besides ArSidRan)

Shivaay: (breaks the hug) How we want to find Kamini??

Ishu: I have a plan for that… (Tells something in mute…)

Shivaay: We will do as you say…

Rudra: But bhabhi, where they kept you??

Ishu: I don’t know, Rudraa… I was unconscious… When I wake up, I was in hospital…

Madhu: I will tell you everything…

FLASHBACK

After Ashok’s call

Sid: Where we can find the documents?? He gave us 24 hours only…

Shivaay: The documents are with me only… (All look at him in shock)

Kalyani: Billu is right… That documents are with him only… I gave the documents to Ishana and she gave them to Billu…
