EPISODE 40

THE OBEROI UDAIVILAS, UDAIPUR,

The youngsters nod and turn to go when, they hear a voice and stop, looking at a man standing in front of them.The man was none other than Vikrant Singh Rathore. All look at him confused, none could recognize him.

Vikrant: I can help you all…. (He walked towards them)…. I know where Ishana and Gauri are….

All look at him shocked.

Shivaay walked and held Vikrant’s collar, all were shocked by Shivaay’s move. OmRu and Anika immediately moved to Shivaay to free Vikrant,

Shivaay: Who the hell are you? And how do you know Ishana and Gauri?

After some struggle, OmRu managed to pull Shivaay back and Anika held him tightly,

Anika: Please Shivaay…. Now is not the time to get angry….
Karan: We need to hear whatever he has to say?

Ranveer walks to Vikrant and looking at him speaks,

Ranveer: Speak…. And only the information we need…. I’ll deal with you later….
Vikrant: We don’t have much time…. We have to reach there as soon as possible and free both of them…. Come with me and I’ll take you all there….
Arjun: How do we trust you? Who are you, tell us?

Vikrant think something and looks at all of them,

Vikrant: Vikrant…. I am Vikrant Singh Rathore…. And I know where Ishana and Gauri are…. Because…. (He stops from saying anything further)….
Shivaay: Because…. Complete your statement….
Vikrant: Because my wife has kidnapped them….

All were shocked listening this, none could believe what they had heard, Shivaay’s anger broke all limits and he held Vikrant’s collar,

Shivaay: HOW DARE YOU…. HOW DARE YOU DO THAT…? YOU HAVE TAKEN ENMITY WITH THE WRONG PERSON…. I’LL KILL YOU…. I’LL DEFINITELY KILL YOU…. I AM SHIVAAY SINGH OBEROI…. AND I’LL NOT SPARE THE PERSON WHO HURTS MY FAMILY….

Ranveer walked towards Shivaay and pulled him away from Vikrant,

Shivaay: Leave me Ranveer…. I won’t spare him….
Ranveer: SHIVAAY…. LEAVE HIM SHIVAAY…. (All looked at him shocked)…. Please…. Step back….
Yash: What are you saying Ranveer?
Ranveer: I know what I am saying…. I am a police officer and I know how to do my duty…. When I am here none will do anything that is against the law…. I know all of us are worried for Ishana and Gauri…. This case will be under me…. And I request you all to maintain your composure…. Please…. Right now Vikrant is the only one who can help us….

All of them nod understanding that Ranveer is right, he has dealt with many such cases and listening to him is the most they can do,

Vikram: But how can we trust this man?
Vikrant: I know you all won’t trust me…. But please if we waste time here…. It won’t be of any help…. We have to reach there as soon as possible….

None wanted to believe Vikrant but Ranveer somehow felt that Vikrant was saying the truth, Ranveer had seen many criminals in his work life and he could easily understand who was a criminal and who not, who was saying the truth and who was lying, he trusted his intuitions and something in Vikrant made Ranveer think that he was right,

Ranveer: Take us there…. But remember one thing…. (He looked at Vikrant)…. If this is a dirty game of yours…. I’ll be the one to shoot you then and there….

All looked at Ranveer shocked,

Vikrant: Sure…. ACP Ranveer Singh Randhawa…. You can shoot me…. But please let us go….
Omkara: Let us go…. Please….
Ahana: And we’ll also come with you all….
Aniruddh: No Bhabhi…. It can be dangerous….
Anika: No, we’ll come and that’s final….
Dadi: Okay…. You all go and we’ll stay here….
Rudra: We’ll go with Vikrant…. Elders please stay here…. We’ll keep you updated….

The youngsters leave from there. Vikrant, Ranveer and Shivaay were in one car, others followed their car.

SOME UNKNOWN PLACE, NEAR A DESERTED FOREST,

Ishana slowly opened her eyes, her head was hurting and she could feel pain in her entire body, she tried to understand what was happening when her eyes feel on Gauri, who was lying unconscious on the chair in front of her, Gauri’s hands were tied to the chair’s arm rest, Ishana was shocked looking at Gauri’s condition, Ishana tried to get up when she realized that even she was tied to her chair, she couldn’t understand what was happening, she looked around the room, but couldn’t understand where she was,

Ishana (thinking): I was coming out from my room…. Then I was in the corridor…. And then someone came…. And then…. What happened then…. I don’t remember what happened after that….

Ishana was thinking when she saw that Gauri was also gaining consciousness, Gauri opened her eyes, and she could also feel the pain in her body,

Ishana: Gauri….

Gauri looked at Ishana and was shocked, she looked at Ishana’s condition and then at her condition,

Gauri: Ishana…. How did we come here? Where are we?
Ishana: I don’t know Gauri…. The last thing I remember is I was in the hotel’s corridor and now I am here….
Gauri: Even I don’t remember anything….

They both were talking when some people came in, IshRi were scared looking at them,

Person 1: Untie both of them and take them to madam….
Person 2: Yes Bhai….

The men untied them and held IshRi, IshRi couldn’t resist the men because of the pain in their body, they decided to stay quiet and understand what was happening, both nodded at each other giving each other assurance that they were together and would fight together. They both walked with the men and reached a larger room, more men were there. A lady and a girl came and stood in front of IshRi; they didn’t know the girl but were shocked seeing the lady.

IshRi: You….

The lady was none other than Kaveri and the girl was Sakshi.
IshRi remembered how they had seen the lady in the hotel when they collided with each other.

Kaveri: So you both remember me…. Good….
Ishana: What is happening and why have you brought us here?
Sakshi: Relax girls…. You’ll know everything….
Gauri: You don’t know our family will come and save us…. And also punish you….
Kaveri: Oh them…. I have already dealt with them once before…. A second time won’t be difficult….
Ishana: Before…. So you know our family….
Sakshi: Very well…. And you both are here so that we can teach them all a lesson….

Gauri (whispers to Ishana): I feel that lady is the one about whom Shekhar uncle told us that night…. And maybe they are the ones who are related to Om’s kidnapping and accident….
Ishana: I think you are right Gauri…. The way they are talking they know all of us very well…. And the lady definitely knows our elders from many years….
Gauri: But who is this girl….
Ishana: Don’t know…. Maybe she is related to the lady….

IshRi were talking to each other when Sakshi’s phone rang, she picked up the call,

Sakshi: What…. Are you sure…. (She disconnected the call)….
Kaveri: What has happened Sakshi…. You look tensed?
Sakshi: Mom…. The man who was keeping an eye on Vikrant called…. He said Vikrant…. (She couldn’t say anything further)….
Kaveri: So as expected he went against us…. I had always told you he would betray us…. But you never listened to me…. Now before they come here…. We have to do something….
Sakshi: What will we do?
Voice: You don’t have to do anything…. We’ll do whatever has to be done….

IshRi, Kaveri and Sakshi look towards the voice and are shocked to see Aniruddh and Omkara along with Vikrant and Ranveer.

Ishana: Aniruddh….
Gauri: Om….
Sakshi: Vikrant….

Ranveer walked ahead,

Ranveer: You don’t have to do anything…. We’ll do whatever has to be done…. You have already done enough….
Kaveri: And you think that you can save them…. I won’t let you walk out so easily….
Vikrant: Sakshi…. Please leave Ishana and Gauri…. Let them go….
Sakshi: Vikrant…. I never thought you would break my trust….
Vikrant: Sakshi…. Please understand…. What you are doing is wrong…. Please let Ishana and Gauri go…. Please trust me…. Sakshi, I always want you to be safe and happy…. Please don’t do anything more…. Let them go….
Kaveri: Shut up Vikrant…. You have broken my daughter’s trust…. You have betrayed us….
Ranveer: Enough of your lies Kaveri Pratap Singhania…. Vikrant didn’t do anything wrong…. Sakshi…. I know you won’t believe me…. But Vikrant didn’t betray you…. But…. (He points to Kaveri)…. She is the one who betrayed you….

Sakshi is shocked and couldn’t understand what was happening, what she had to do, she was in a fix of whom to believe,

Kaveri: What are you talking…. Why’ll I betray my daughter? And what do you know that you are saying this?
Vikrant: Ranveer knows everything…. I told him everything….

*FLASHBACK TO SOME TIME AGO*

IN THE CAR,

Ranveer, Vikrant and Shivaay were in the car, Shivaay was angry so didn’t speak anything and was driving but Ranveer decided to know everything from Vikrant,

Ranveer: Vikrant…. Will you tell me the complete matter…. Why has your wife kidnapped Ishana and Gauri?
Vikrant: I’ll tell you everything Ranveer…. All this is because Sakshi wants to take revenge from her brothers…. (Ranveer looked at him confused)…. Yes her brothers…. Her real brothers…. Aniruddh and Omkara…. (Ranveer and Shivaay looked at him shocked)….
Shivaay: Don’t you dare talk any nonsense…. Om is my brother…. Stop with your lies….
Ranveer: Please Shivaay…. Let us hear him out once….

Shivaay wanted to say something further but Ranveer asked him not to do so and listen to Vikrant,

Vikrant: I don’t know everything but from whatever Sakshi has told me I have known few things…. I don’t know if you will believe me…. But this is the truth…. Aniruddh and Omkara are real brothers and Sakshi is their younger sister…. Years ago their parents died in a car accident but before leaving this world…. They gave Omkara to Tej and Janhvi Singh Oberoi and Aniruddh to Shekhar and Sumitra Raichand…. Omkara and Aniruddh were only three years old and don’t remember anything…. Raichands went to London and Oberois were in Mumbai…. The truth about Omkara and Aniruddh was kept from everyone….

Shivaay was shocked but kept quiet; Ranveer was in thoughts but spoke sometime later,

Ranveer: Om and Aniruddh…. I always wondered how they could look so similar…. But then what about Sakshi…. Who took care of her…. She wasn’t with the Oberois or with the Raichands….
Vikrant: Even I was shocked as how could no one come for Sakshi…. But then Kaveri aunty told us that no one came to take care of Sakshi and they left her alone…. Sakshi was a new born…. After her parents died Kaveri aunty has been looking after Sakshi…. She only told Sakshi the truth about her and her brothers…. She always filled Sakshi with hatred for her own brothers…. But I always felt that Kaveri aunty was wrong and is hiding something from Sakshi…. I tried to stop them but Sakshi’s love always made me weak…. But after what happened today…. I had to do something…. I don’t want Sakshi’s life to get destroyed….

Ranveer was in thoughts, he took out his mobile and dialed Tej’s number, he asked him few things and Tej was shocked but answered everything. Ranveer didn’t tell Shivaay or Vikrant what Tej told him.

Ranveer: Don’t worry Vikrant…. We’ll sort everything…. I am sure there is more to this truth than we all know….

*FLASHBACK ENDS*

Ranveer: Sakshi…. Please trust me…. Neither Om nor Aniruddh…. Neither Oberois nor Raichands have betrayed you…. If someone has then she has…. (He pointed at Kaveri)….

Sakshi was shocked and didn’t know how to react.

I know it’s been long time when I update. Sorry for making you wait for one month. I am not going to give any explanation but I was busy with online classes and assessments. I think it’s my fault because I have to took out time for completing this story. Maybe you all forget about it or lost interest in it. I am grateful to Prajkta, Niharika, Dheepu, Shreya, Khushi, LCharish, Ninika, NIDA, Saniya Fathima, Anjali, Shona, Your Fan for supporting me always.

Recap –  Drishya think about how she and Advik grow in same orphanage with difficulties and how she forget to help him after getting adopted. Anika went back to Shivay’s office for giving resignation letter. Shivsy trief to stop her from leaving but she was hell bent. She told him that the person he is understanding as Maya is actual her sister Drishya. Anika and Drishya come fave to face in hospital where Anika went to met Swayam. Swayam hypnotised her to bring her memory back, she get to know about argument which she and Drishya had before the accident of Shivay and Anika. Anika furiously blame Drishya for accident and messing with the mind of Shivay by becoming Maya while Drishya show her reality that everyone else also suffered not just her.

Zindaan – The Golden Cage Chapter 27 (Battle of memories- Part 2)

Drishya moved toward her car and cried while bending her head on steering. She wipes her face and starts the car. Swayam entered inside her cabin and found Anika who was standing there in all silence. “Where is Ishu? What did you say to her?” He asked her. “I don’t know. Go and ask from her” She replied and marched outside the cabin while he looks on. Drishya stopped the car outside the alley and walked toward that rusty gate. She pushed it and moved inside. All the surrounding start changing as she walked. That deserted place gets filled with chaos and echoes of children. Her eyes start getting watery looking the children roaming around her like butterflies.

The same girl child holds her hand and dragged her inside the hall. Drishya looked around and the whole hall starts burning in flames. She saw a man lying in the pool of blood, trying to forward his hand toward her. Her ears can only hear pleadings and screams of children who are running here and there. She very well knows that this is her memories who are running like a film in front but seems this much real that she forget the fact. She stepped backwards while closing her ears. “Stop it, you can’t haunt me. I am the one who is the controller of these memories. Stop!” She shouts making freeze everything around her. “I don’t want to see it” She shook her head and everything disappears.

“Why the hell my memories don’t faint like others?” She thinks while rubbing her forehead and see here and there for checking surroundings. She sighed and moved toward the wall in the corner of the corridor. She bends beside it for removing the bricks. Her hands get stopped after seeing a shadow in front. She looks on, feeling someone presence behind. She moved from there in a blink of seconds and as a result, the dagger gets collided with a wall. This is the first time she is seeing him attacking in daylight. Daksh turns toward her while picking up the knife again.

She moves backwards and starts running as he approaches. She hides inside a broken cabinet and takes out her phone. “Swayam, Why are you not picking up? Pick up, Damn it! ” She dialled the number while keeping a hand on her mouth. She gets alarmed after hearing footsteps. She heard him pacing from there and sighed in relief. She looks upward and starts sweating to find him staring her. “Did you thought that you can escape from me?” He chuckled clutching her hairs tightly. She dashed her phone on his head, the only thing she is in her hand. He shrieked in pain while pushing her on the floor. She pressed the button on her tracker.

“Anika, What did you tell her?” Swayam shout angrily while following her. “Why don’t you ask from her? She played with my memories” Anika rant in rage. “Did she told you that she removed your memory? I told you that your sealed memories will surprise you but you can’t jump on any conclusion ” He said. “Ishu didn’t know anything about your memory loss. She always thinks it as a temporary memory loss” He added while she looks on. “I was the one who sealed your memories.” He said while she was taken aback.

“Let me tell you the truth. I sealed your memories by using hypnotism for your sake. You were unable to cooperate with the fact that your sister hides about Maya. You were in trauma thinking it as a betrayal of Ishu. You don’t want to remember that argument with your sister, that’s why I erased it.” He told while she shook her head helplessly. “No, you are lying. If it is true, then why did you make me forget about Shivay and my childhood?” She said holding forehead. “It was important to forget about Shivay for sealing the memories about the accident and that argument from Ishu” He replied while her eyes start flowing.

“What about that accident?” She asked. “You and Shivay both hurt my Ishu a lot. That was Ishu who brought Shivay to hospital after that accident because I left him there only for dying.” He said remorsefully. “How dare you to do that?” Anika asked holding his collar. “I can’t tolerate tears in Ishu’s eyes. Shivay not only try to harm Ishu but he snatched her lifeline from her that is you” He shouts while she flinched. “How can a person be this much selfish that he only cares about his love?” She said with teary-eyed. “Mohabbat bhi badla leti hai. Tumhari aur Shivay ki Mohabbat ne badle main meri aur Ishu ki Mohabbat ko fanaa kar diya. Isse badi saza kya hogi mere liye” He said with tears while she cried.

Drishya tried to get up but he holds her neck banging her head on the floor. “Please, Don’t kill me now.” She pleads with trembling voice. “Give me a reason for letting you go,” He asked while loosening his grip. “I can give you that ledger” She replied while coughing. “What if I don’t need that now?” He asked while she gets shocked. “Please let me live for my father. I want justice for him” She said and he starts clapping. “What about others who get sacrificed in those flames?” He asked. “I will leave you if you promise me the justice for everyone who involved in that incident” He added with a serious voice.

“Yes, but you have to help me. Do tell me the person who is behind this. How I am supposed to fight against some unknown?” She said. “He is not unknown to you. He is around you, you have to recognise. I can’t tell you as I don’t want to die” He replied while standing. “You don’t have much time for wasting. Don’t you dare to double-cross me” He warned while walking outside and she remained in the same position for some time.

She gets up while taking support and looked at her injured elbows. She took out a rubber band from her hairs for checking injury. Some of her hairs get broke from roots. “Why doesn’t he need ledger now?” She wondered and walked into the corridor. She rushed outside toward her car to bring first aid box but get bumped on someone. “How can he be so fast? ” She thinks while looking upward. “What are you doing here? ” She asked. “What happened to your hand? Is it bleeding?” Kshitij asked looking at the blood on her sleeves. Suddenly his phone ring and he picked up. “Yes, She is with me. I will talk to you later” He said during the call. “Did you get attacked? Where is that jerk? ” He asked looking around. “He already left after warning me” She replied. “Why would he left without killing you,” He said while she replied “Do you want to see me dead?

“Don’t you have common sense? Why did you press the button after he leaves? That’s for emergency and you should press it when you realised his presence” He asked while frowning. “I was about to get killed but I should remember about that tracker…Right. I press it when I noticed it” She said rolling her eyes.”Fine, Let’s go to the hospital ” He said. “I am not that much hurt. You didn’t give a reply to my question” She said. “Should I need to take permission from you before going anywhere?” He asked crossing his arm.

“No, I was wondering what are you doing in this deserted and outer place?” She replied. “What if I ask you to the same?” He asked while she gets lost. “I like silent places,” She said. “Did anybody told you that you are creepy?” He asked while she shook her head positively. “Can you bring the first-aid kit from my car?” She asked passing keys while he nods his head.

“Drishya, Where are you?” Kshitij asked after not finding her in the hall. “Where the hell she went now?” He sighed moving in the corridor. He finds her searching for something by removing the bricks. “Stop there, You get more hurt,” He said to her while she turn a deaf ear. “Snap out of it” He shouts holding her wrist. “The thing you are searching is with me” He added and she turned. “What?” She asked in disbelief. “I and Vishal both were here last night,” He said while she understands everything.

“Those letters weren’t for investigation. So, you come here to keep them here stealthily ” She said gritting her teeth. “Because I know that your reaction will be something like this” He replied while she calmed down herself. “Why do you believe on this now as it is possible that I might fake in these letters too,” She said in temper. “What’s the problem with you? Are you really this much desperate to go behind the bars? First, you ruined that chip, then you hide things which can work as your alibi. Now, when I start understanding and believing a little bit that your father gets murdered, then also you are making me doubtful by calling this fake. What the hell you want?” He said while she remains quiet. “I don’t want to justify myself. I don’t care what is right and wrong until it is a loss for me” She replied while he nods his head in disbelief. She stepped toward him and take the first aid kit from his hand.

“Where is the real ledger?” He asked her who was cleaning her wound while she looks on confusedly. “That chip which you tried to destroy get revived. That footage is not this much worthy than anyone goes this far for getting it” He explained looking her confused. “I don’t have that ledger. “Seriously, What if those people lose patience and killed you?” He asked while knocking some sense. “When you know that both the boats are going to sail, then obviously you will choose the one who took a long time in drowning,” She said while he rolled his eyes. “Let me do it, You will not be able to bandage it from the left hand,” He said looking at her. “No, I can do stitches properly from my left hand. It’s just a bandage” She replied while tying bandage. “You didn’t react when I told you that I successfully revive that chip. I saw it too” He asked curiously while she looks on.

“If you didn’t see it, you will never believe me. As far as I know, you are not someone who trust on some words written on mere letters. You need a definite proof for that” She chuckled while trying to cut the bandage. He took scissors from her hand and cut it. “Are you going to tell me the truth?” He asked putting scissors back. “Did you took revenge on Shivay by faking as Maya?” He asked calmly in comparison of other times. “No, I took revenge on Pinky Singh Oberoi for framing my Baba.” She replied like it is nothing a big deal for her. “What did you do with Shivay?” He asked. “I told Juhi to fake her death for trapping Shivay. You were right that my picture with Juhi wasn’t a coincidence” She replied with a smile while he gets flabbergasted. He made a fist in anger looking toward her on the sudden revelation.

Precap – Anika tried to make Shivay remember everything…..Drishya reveals the plan of framing Shivay…..Flashbacks of past.

Note – There are more flashback to Shivika lovestory. As an author I feel that merging present scene with past one is more impactful as narrative. That’s why I didn’t reveal all flashbacks in one go. Anika get remember everything (except childhood) and you get to know it too very soon. Second reason is that I want to stop a common connecting point, so I can write past of Anika and Drishya with Shivay simultaneously as they all are connected each other.

Why can’t Anika remember about her childhood even after hypnotism?

Why did Drishya faked in front of Shivay?

How Daksh is connected with Anika?

How did Drishya know about this much about Maya that Shivay believe her as Maya?

Why does Shivay remember about Drishya’s face but not the moments with Anika?

And at last, an interesting fact. Did you notice the meaning of Drishya’s and Maya’s name. I chose them intentionally as one’s meaning is vision and another one’s meaning is illusion. Yes, kind of fight between Illusion and vision, reality and imagination.

Ranveer: Sakshi…. Please trust me…. Neither Om nor Aniruddh…. Neither Oberois nor Raichands have betrayed you…. If someone has then she has…. (He pointed at Kaveri)….

Sakshi kept quiet not knowing what to say, Aniruddh and Omkara were also in a state of shock, Ranveer said they were real brothers and Sakshi was their younger sister, both of them didn’t know how to react,

Kaveri: STOP IT…. Don’t you dare fill my daughter’s mind with your lies….

Vikrant: ENOUGH…. STOP WITH YOUR LIES…. (All looked at him shocked)…. I HAVE HEARD ENOUGH FROM YOU AND HAVE HAD ENOUGH OF YOUR LIES…. FOR MANY YEARS YOU HAVE FILLED SAKSHI’S HEART WITH HATRED FOR HER OWN BROTHERS…. (All of them were shocked seeing him speaking like this)…. NOW DON’T CROSS YOUR LIMITS…. EVERYTHING ENDS ONE DAY…. AND TODAY ALL YOUR LIES WILL END….

Sakshi: Vikrant….
Vikrant: Yes Sakshi…. (He holds her shoulders)…. Kaveri aunty has lied to you…. No one left you…. Your parents died in the accident, your brothers got separated and Kaveri aunty just took advantage of the situation…. She doesn’t love you…. She has used you for her own benefits….
Kaveri: Enough…. Okay…. I know I lied to her…. I used Sakshi…. I wanted her to be my weapon…. I wanted to destroy the Oberois and Raichands…. And Sakshi was the best way to do so….

All are shocked hearing her words, Sakshi falls down and tears flow from her eyes, Vikrant goes to her,

Sakshi: How could I do this…. I wanted to take revenge from my own brothers…. I did so many crimes…. I tried to kill Om Bhaiya and wanted to defame Aniruddh Bhaiya…. (Aniruddh and Om are now shocked hearing her)…. I am so bad…. (She cries more)….

IshRi feel bad for her and go to her,

Gauri: Sakshi…. Please stop crying…. Please…. (She wipes Sakshi’s tears)…. We know that all this is not your fault…. You were misguided….
Ishana: Yes Sakshi…. Your Gauri Bhabhi is saying right…. (All look at her surprised)…. Why are you looking at me so surprised…? She is your Bhabhi and so am I….
Gauri: You are right Ishana…. And no Bhabhi can see her nanand like this….

Sakshi couldn’t hold it anymore and hugged IshRi; they hug her back and console her.

Kaveri: Enough of your family drama…. I am not here to see this…. I’ll destroy you all…. (She takes out a gun and points at Sakshi)…. I never thought you will also be as useless as your husband….

All look at her shocked,

Ranveer: Don’t try to do anything that’ll make your problems worst….
Kaveri: You don’t teach me ACP Ranveer Singh Randhawa….

Kaveri was about to pull the trigger but Ranveer swiftly moves towards her and takes the gun, Kaveri is shocked seeing his actions; Vikrant, Omkara and Aniruddh also come into action and beat the other men.

Kaveri: You all will pay for this….

Voice: Well when I am here…. I decide who pays for what….

All turn towards the voice and Shivaay Singh Oberoi makes and entry while setting his hair, IshRi, AniOmRan smile seeing him, Vikrant and Sakshi look on, with Shivaay, others (Anika, Priyanka, Rumya, Arhana, Viya, Devakshi, Natasha, Karan) also enter,

Shivaay: Kaveri Pratap Singhania…. Your game is over…. I told you Shivaay Singh Oberoi decides who pays for what…. And you’ll pay for all your deeds…. I’ll make you pay for all that….

Ranveer ties Kaveri’s hands and covers her mouth.

Ranveer: You have to answer many questions…. I’ll get all those answers from you…. (He turns to Shivaay)…. Shivaay ask Khanna to take care of her till the weddings complete…. We’ll deal with her later….

Shivaay calls Khanna and Khanna takes Kaveri from there while leaving she gave angry glares to all of them.

Sakshi walks towards Aniruddh and Omkara; she folds her hands and bent her head, all look at her,

Sakshi: I know whatever I did is unforgivable…. But please Bhaiya…. I am really sorry…. I have done many wrong things with you both…. Please…. Please…. Forgive me…. And also send me to the prison…. (All look at her shocked)…. I have done so many crimes…. Please send me away…. I deserve worst punishment for whatever I have done with all of you…. Send me away…. Let me serve my punishment….

She cries Aniruddh and Om look at each other and to everyone’s surprise hug Sakshi, she cries more, they console her, Omkara makes Sakshi look up and face them, he smiles at her,

Aniruddh: We don’t like to see our sister like this…. Tears don’t look good in her eyes…. (He wipes her tears)….
Omkara: You are right Aniruddh…. Our sister should always smile…. And also we won’t let you leave us anywhere now…. Our sister will always stay with us…. And about your punishment….
Aniruddh: Your punishment will be that you’ll always stay with us and we won’t let you go anywhere leaving us…. (Aniruddh and Om share a smile)….

Sakshi looks at them surprised, they smile at her and she hugs them; all are happy seeing the brothers and sister united again after years.

Arjun: So…. Aniruddh and Om are real brothers…. And Sakshi is their sister….
Ishana: Yes Arjun Bhaiya…. This is the truth….

Ranveer then looks at Sakshi, he sees her earring and then takes out the earring from his pocket, it was similar to Sakshi’s earring, and he then remembers something,

*FLASHBACK TO EARLIER THE SAME DAY*

After the haldi holi, Ranveer was going to his room when he collided with someone, he looked at the person, but the girl didn’t stop and was walking, he was amazed by her attitude, he noticed her earrings, but left from there thinking what he would do even if met her later.

*FLASHBACK ENDS*

Ranveer: So it was you who collided with me in the morning…. (He looked at Sakshi)….
Sakshi: Yes…. I knew it was you but I was in a hurry and didn’t say anything…. But how did you know it was me….
Ranveer: This earring…. (He shows her the earring)…. I found it near the hotel’s main gate…. I knew I had seen it somewhere…. And now seeing the other earring you have…. My
doubt got cleared….

Ranveer gave Sakshi the other earring and she wears it.

Vikrant: I think we all should go back to the hotel…. All are waiting for us….
Rudra: And don’t forget shaadi aaj hi hai…. Aur ab toh hamari behen bhi aayegi shaadi mein…. (Rudra smiles at Sakshi and she smiles back)….
Anika: Guys…. I know we have got to know many things in a day…. And all have many questions in their minds…. But please let us talk about all this after the wedding…. Our family is waiting for us…. We’ll tell them everything after the wedding….
Vidhi: Anika is right…. Everything else after the wedding….

They all nod and leave from the place.

They reach the hotel; elders are happy seeing all of them safe and together.

Aniruddh and Om were lost in their thoughts but didn’t say anything.

Shivaay and Arjun explain everything to the elders and ask them not to say anything till the wedding is completed, they agree. Tej, Janhvi, Shekhar and Sumitra were the most worried for Omkara and Aniruddh, but keep quiet thinking to talk after the wedding.

OMKARA’S ROOM,

Om was getting ready when Aniruddh comes there,

Aniruddh: Om, you called me….
Omkara: Aniruddh…. I have decided something and I want to know if my brother will be with me in my decision or not….
Aniruddh: Om…. I’ll always be with you…. Now nothing will keep us apart….

Omkara tells him something, Aniruddh is shocked but Om explains him and he agrees.

Omkara: We’ll tell everyone after the wedding….
Aniruddh: Yes Om…. And I’ll always be there with you….
Omkara: Sakshi has gone through a lot in the past…. We have to bring back all her happiness….
Aniruddh: But Ishu and Gauri…. Will they agree?
Omkara: I know they both will…. They also care for Sakshi as much as we care for her….

Om smiles and hugs Aniruddh.

AFTER SOME TIME,

All get ready for the wedding. The brides were looking beautiful and grooms were looking handsome.
The four couples take their seats. The rituals begin.

Priest: Now groom’s sister will come forward for the gat-bandhan….

Natasha did gat-bandhan for Priveer and Ahana did it for Devakshi.

Sakshi wanted to do it for Rikara and Anish but stopped herself, she didn’t have the rights to do so, she was in her thoughts when Anika walked to her,

Anika: Sakshi…. Your Bhaiyas are waiting for you…. Go do the gat-bandhan….
Sakshi: But how can I?
Vidhi: Why not, it is your right.

Sakshi nods and smiles, she does the gat-bandhan for Rikara and Anish.

All are happy seeing this.

All four weddings happen like the way they had been planned.

The couples take blessings from all elders.

THE OBEROI UDAIVILAS, UDAIPUR,

After the wedding and the post marriage rituals, everyone changed from the heavy wedding outfits to more simple and comfortable clothes. They all gathered in the hotel’s hall. Many questions were running in their minds and all wanted answers to their questions.

Omkara (whispers to Aniruddh): We’ll tell everyone about our decision after the entire truth is unfolded….

Aniruddh nods at him understanding.

All were sitting thinking how to start and what to say, everyone was quiet, the elders were not knowing what to say and youngsters didn’t know what to ask and how, finally Arjun broke the silence,

Arjun: So Aniruddh and Om are real brothers…. They are twins…. And Sakshi is their younger sister….

Arjun looked at his parents and then at the Oberoi elders.

Dadi: Yes this is the truth…. Aniruddh, Om and Sakshi are real brothers and sister…. (She couldn’t say anything further as tears collected in her eyes, Pinky and Shakti consoled her)….
Tej: I know we should have told you all earlier only…. But we didn’t know how to tell you all…. And never expected that the truth will unfold like this…. (He kept quiet while Janhvi comforted him)….

Ranveer looked around the room; he then walked to Shekhar,

Ranveer: Shekhar uncle…. You only tell us….

Shekhar looked at Ranveer, and nodded his head,

Shekhar: I’ll tell you everything from the beginning…. Aniruddh, Omkara and Sakshi are children of Late Ranjit and Damini Mehra…. (All looked at him and he started the narration)….

*FLASHBACK TO 25 YEARS AGO*

OBEROIS’ OFFICE,

Tej and Shekhar were sitting in Tej’s cabin,

Shekhar: Tej…. We have been waiting for a long time…. Ranjit should have come by now….
Tej: You are right Shekhar; it’s been a long time…. I’ll call him….

Tej dialed Ranjit’s number but the call didn’t connect, he tried again but this time also the call didn’t connect, he was about to call when he saw Janhvi calling him, he received the call,

Tej: Hello Janhvi…. What are you saying…. (He was shocked and worried)…. You reach there…. Yes…. Yes I’ll come with Shekhar….

He disconnected the call and Shekhar looked at him worried,

Shekhar: What has happened Tej? You look worried….
Tej: Ranjit…. He and his family met with an accident…. We have to go to City Hospital now….

Shekhar is shocked, he nods and they both leave.

AFTER SOME TIME,

CITY HOSPITAL,

Tej and Shekhar reach the hospital, they enquire about Ranjit and his family, the receptionist tells them the ward and they both walk towards it. They reach the ward and see Janhvi, Sumitra, Shakti and Pinky there.

Tej: How is Ranjit? Where is he…. What about Damini Bhabhi and the kids?

Janhvi couldn’t say anything and hugs Tej crying badly, Sumitra also hugs Shekhar and cries, Pinky and Shakti also had tears in their eyes. After sometime Tej calmed Janhvi and made her sit on the bench nearby, Sumitra also sat beside her,

Tej: Janhvi, please tell me what happened?
Janhvi: Tej…. (She couldn’t speak further)….
Shekhar: Shakti, at least you tell us, what has happened?
Shakti: Bhaisab…. Ranjit Bhaisab and Damini Bhabhi died in the accident…. (Tej and Shekhar are shocked)…. Their daughter also died…. Only their sons are alive….
Tej: How could this happen?
Shekhar: Where are their sons?
Sumitra: Doctors made them sleep…. They are inside the room….

Tej and Shekhar looked at each other and then walk inside the room.

INSIDE THE ROOM,

Tej and Shekhar walk inside the room, others also follow them.

Tej walked towards the bed and saw two three-year old boys sleeping peacefully; they had held each other’s hand, Tej’s eyes filled with tears looking at the scene, Shekhar kept his hand on Tej’s shoulder, he too had tears, how could God play such a cruel game with these innocent kids.

There were looking at the kids when one of them woke up, he started crying and hearing him the other also woke up, both the kids started crying, Tej picked one of them and Shekhar picked the other, the kids became quiet while they were in Tej and Shekhar’s embrace, they smiled seeing Tej and Shekhar, who smiled back.

Janhvi walked to Tej, who smiled looking at him and the kid,

Tej: Ranjit and Damini Bhabhi have done a lot for us…. Now is our chance to do something for them…. We’ll take care of their sons…. (He looked at the boy in his embrace)…. You are my son…. Omkara…. Omkara Singh Oberoi…. (The kid smiles at Tej)…. And…. (He looked at the other child)…. He is….
Shekhar: He is my son…. Aniruddh…. Aniruddh Raichand…. (The kid smiled at Shekhar)….

Sumitra walks to Shekhar and smiles seeing him and her son.

*FLASHBACK ENDS*

PRESENT TIME, HOTEL HALL,

Everyone was quiet after knowing the truth, Anika spoke breaking the silence,

Anika: But Sakshi is alive…. Then how can the doctor say that she died in the accident….
Ranveer: Well only one person can tell that…. Shivaay…. Get her….

Shivaay nods at him and calls Khanna, after sometime Khanna comes there with Kaveri, Oberois and Raichands are shocked to see her,

Tej: Kaveri….
Yash: Tej uncle, you know her….
Sumitra: We know her very well…. She is Kaveri…. Ranjit Bhaisab’s sister…. (Others are shocked hearing this)….
Sakshi: Sumitra aunty is right…. She is Kaveri bua…. All these years I called her mom…. Because I felt she loves me and took care of me…. I wish I had seen her real face earlier….

Sakshi has tears but Vikrant comforts her.

Janhvi: Kaveri…. Tell us how you found Sakshi when the doctors had said that she also died with her parents…. Tell us….

Kaveri just smiles evilly at them,

Pinky: OMM…. Look at the shameless lady…. Tell us Kaveri…. Otherwise my son Shivaay will use other ways to bring out the truth….
Shivaay: You heard what my mom said…. Say it before I am compelled to do things you won’t like….
Kaveri: Look at you all…. So desperate to know the truth…. (She laughs seeing all of them)…. Well now that this useless girl and her husband have failed all my plans….
Omkara: Don’t you dare talk about my sister like that….
Kaveri: So much love for the sister who was your enemy few hours ago…. I am impressed the Oberois have brought you up very well….
Aniruddh: Enough of your useless talks…. Tell us how you found Sakshi….

Kaveri: Okay…. Okay…. I’ll tell you all…. Have some patience…. Well Sakshi didn’t die in the accident…. In fact I was the one who paid that doctor to declare that even she has died…. (All are shocked hearing this)…. Ranjit Bhaiya was always unfair with me…. He never gave me any share in his business…. One day I got to know that he has transferred all his shares to his sons’ and daughter’s name…. I was very much enraged…. I decided to take revenge…. I planned to kill Bhaiya and Bhabhi and make myself the legal guardian for his children…. Thus I’ll get all the property rights…. I made a plan to kill them and then frame it as an accident…. (All were even more shocked to hear this)…. I made sure that none of them the kids die…. I was all set to claim my rights…. But I also made a back-up plan…. In case my plan failed…. I took Sakshi away before Oberois or Raichands could reach the hospital…. I paid the doctor to declare Sakshi as dead…. I thought to take Omkara and Aniruddh after the Oberois leave but then this Tej Singh Oberoi and Shekhar Raichand failed my plan and adopted the kids…. I was happy that I took Sakshi earlier only…. From then I decided to use her as my weapon against her own brothers…. (Sakshi looked at her with tears while others were angry)…. Omkara’s kidnapping…. His accident…. Framing Aniruddh…. Ishana and Gauri’s kidnapping…. Sakshi followed whatever I said….

Vikrant: Sakshi always treated you as her mother…. She did everything you asked her to do…. She blindly trusted you…. And you…. You just used her for your revenge and profit….
Gauri: I never thought that any woman can fall so low….
Kaveri: Say whatever you want…. I did what I wanted…. And I have no regret for anything….
Shivaay: Khanna…. Take this woman away…. She’ll reach her correct place when we go back to Mumbai…. Till then take good care of her….

Khanna took Kaveri from there.

Sakshi was crying badly, Gauri and Ishana consoled her.

Sakshi: I am very bad…. I did so many wrong things with my own brothers only…. How could I fall so low…. I became like the woman who raised me….
Ishana: No Sakshi…. Please don’t say like this….

Vikram walked to her and caressed her hair, Sakshi looked at him, and he wiped her tears,

Vikram: Sakshi Beta…. You did mistakes but that doesn’t mean you are wrong…. We all do many mistakes in our lives…. But it is we who decide that we’ll let the mistakes define us or the deeds we would do to rectify those mistakes…. Life was very hard on you…. But now life is only giving you another chance to rectify your mistakes and lead a new life…. So you have to decide what you want to do….

Vikram smiles at her and she smiles back.

Janhvi was walking towards Om when he said something and she stopped,

Omkara: Now we all know the entire truth…. Aniruddh and I are real brothers and Sakshi is our sister…. So Aniruddh and I have decided something….

He looks at all of them and all look at him, only Aniruddh knew what was going to happen, Omkara said something and all except Aniruddh looked at him shocked. Aniruddh stood beside Omkara, and assured him that he was with him no matter what.

Aditya: Oh ok, I’ll help you in wedding shopping.

Aditya helps Zoya in her wedding shopping. While shopping, Zoya gave some beautiful ideas to Aditya for propsal and gift.

The extract from what they have planned (during wedding shopping) for gift is,
Zoya: You can present her a birthday video.
Aditya: What do you mean?
Zoya: You can create a video like her all schoolmates or school friends wishing her happy birthday.
Aditya: But Zoya, I don’t have friendship with them.
Zoya: Do you know her friends name?
Aditya: Yeah, a little.
Zoya: Ask her friends about her school mates or class mates.
Aditya: How shall I propose then?
Zoya: After all wishes, you insert your proposal video at last.

Aditya meets Annika(Surbhi Chandna), Gauri’s sister secretly gets details of all her school mates with their contact numbers.

June 1,2020
Aditya: Zoya, I got it. All her friends are in Madhya Pradesh. As she left our school in 8th standard and shifted to Madhya Pradesh.
Zoya: Oh, wow Aditya. You are going to meet them and get video.
Aditya: What? Are you mad? Who will travel too distant? I’ll get these videos through Whatsapp.
Zoya: Gauri cares the effort you made for that gift than the value of that gift.
Aditya: Really, How are you saying it?
Zoya: I am a girl, Aditya.

Aditya dials Karan’s number and asks him accompany to Madhya Pradesh. But Karan refused as his wife’s family has come to his house.

Zoya: Shall I come, Adi?
Aditya: Again are you mad? You have only 9 days for marriage.
Zoya: Just a 4 day trip, Adi. I’ll manage.
Aditya:No, I don’t take any risks.
Zoya: Aditya, I don’t know whether I’ll meet you after marriage. I don’t know how will I change. Please, Adi.

Aditya reminsces flashback
At college final year, Zoya asked Aditya for a trip in bike. Aditya refused as he is too lazy to drive a bike.

Aditya: Zoya, do you remember that you asked for a bike trip?
Zoya: So what? You’re a lazy goose to drive bike.
Aditya: I’ll drive with you tomorrow. Are you okay?
Zoya: Really?
Aditya nods his head with smile. Zoya smiles.

The next day,
Aditya and Zoya leaves for Madhya Pradesh in Royal Enfield bike.
Kadhaipoma song plays in the background.

The way is full of greenish and as they traveled via hills ways, the breeze is so cool. Zoya hugs Aditya. It gives a warm feeling to Aditya. Aditya smiles.

They reached Madhya Pradesh. Aditya and Zoya gets video from all the Gauri’s classmates and schoolmates and even their parents.
Aditya and Zoya travels in a boat. Zoya steps into boat but when she is about to fall, Aditya catch her in his arms.
(Bepannah Si Mohabbat hai plays) They share an eyelock.
They both sit in thr boat
Zoya: Aditya, now it’s your turn for wish.
Aditya: Yeah
Zoya: Lights, Camera, Action.
Zoya holds the camera.
Aditya: Gauri, Happy Birthday to you. Have a wonderful journey ahead.Many more happy returns of the day. Hope you become a great director…
Zoya signs him to propose.
Aditya: I love you, ZOYA.
Zoya laughs: Aditya, you have mispelled the name. Its Gauri. (Sarcastically) No problem. Once more.
Aditya: No. Afterwards..
Zoya: Oh, you want to say with love feelings. Its ok. (Sarcastically)
Aditya thinks: How do I mispelled Gauri with Zoya.

Night time, they reached a small resort. The resort is not maintained well it seems. It is full of drunkards and parties.
Aditya: Shall we go to someother resort?
Zoya: No Adi. You are tired and even I too adjust.
Aditya and Zoya slept. In midnight, Aditya wakes up suddenly and goes to outside. A drunkard gazed him and asked him, “How much does she cost? She is gorgeous”.

Gauri gets the video from Aditya . She goes to ground and set a TV and plays the video alone. She sees all her friends are wishing her happy birthday. She gets tears. She got a respect for Aditya’s hardwork.
At last, Aditya’s video narration plays, Gauri smiles. Aaditya wishes her and he says the present is in right side of her.
Gauri slowly turns her head. Omkara comes near Gauri in guilt.

Omkara kneels down and proposes her. Gauri smiles and cries simultaneously. Omkara apologizes for rejected her. Gauri wipes his tears. Gauri hugs Omkara.

A mansion is shown; it had huge lawn on all four sides, the boundary walls all high and with tight security, guards on their duty, a large paved path lead to the huge entrance of the mansion, cars parked outside the mansion, the mansion was magnificent and beautiful.

INSIDE THE MANSION,

A man is walking down the stairs; he was talking to someone on his phone,

Man: Did you find them…. I had asked you not to call me till you find them…. (He doesn’t listen to the person on call and throws his phone in anger)….

Another man comes there and sees the broken phone,

Other man: Shivaay…. What has happened…. Why did you break the phone again?
Shivaay: Arjun…. I don’t know what else to do…. It’s been three years and we have no information about them….
Arjun: I know Shivaay…. Even I have been trying to find them…. But of no use….

They were talking when Rudra and Ranveer also come there,

Ranveer: Shivaay…. Did you find anything?
Shivaay: No Ranveer…. My men are working but couldn’t find them….
Arjun: Ranveer…. What about you? Did you find anything else?
Ranveer: No Arjun…. Nothing new….
Rudra: Don’t know where they have gone…. Bhaiya…. Will we ever find them?

She wipes her tears and keeps Om’s photo on the table, she was about to go when she sees Shivaay standing there,

Shivaay comes and hugs her, tears flow from his eyes, Janhvi is surprised, and she caresses his back, after sometime Shivaay composes himself,

Shivaay: I am sorry Badi Maa…. I had told you I’ll find Om and others but from last three years I couldn’t find them…. I am so sorry Badi Maa…. I have failed everyone…. I couldn’t do anything that day also and today also….
Janhvi: No Shivaay…. Don’t say like this…. I know you are working day and night to find them…. And I trust you that you’ll bring back Om….
Sumitra: Janhvi is saying right…. (Shivaay and Janhvi turn to see Sumitra standing at the door)…. We know you all will definitely find everyone…. And our family will be once again complete….

A villa is shown, there was a small garden in front of the villa, it had variety of plants and flowers, a small pathway leads to the main entrance of the villa, there is a small verandah that has garden furniture, there were flower plants all around the villa, filling the atmosphere with sweet fragrance, the villa was simple yet elegant.

INSIDE THE VILLA,

Voice 1: Where is everyone…?
Voice 2: Come here fast…. I have to tell you all something….

Hearing the voice all gather in the room,

Girl: What has happened Bhaiyas? You both look very happy….
Omkara: Sakshi…. When you’ll know you’ll also be very happy….
Ishana: What is the news Om…? Aniruddh and you are very happy….

Hi everyone,
Few things I would like to clear before we proceed with the story:
1. There is a leap of three years after the weddings.
2. Oberois and Raichands are living together not in Oberoi Mansion or Raichand Mansion but in a new mansion which will be named as Kalyani Sadan (Reason will be revealed later in the story)
3. Omkara-Gauri, Aniruddh-Ishana and Vikrant-Sakshi are staying far away from everyone in Shillong (Reason will be revealed as the story progresses)
4. Omkara and Aniruddh run a dance academy with Ishana’s help in Shillong while Vikrant runs a restaurant with Sakshi and Gauri’s help.
5. All the characters are same as they were before the leap except for the fact that they are not together.

EPISODE 44

MUMBAI,

KALYANI SADAN,

Everyone was busy preparing for their journey to Haridwar the next day.

Dadi: Anika puttar did you inform Vikram, Sanjay and Rajesh about the puja?
Anika: Yes Dadi…. I have invited Vikram uncle, Sanjay uncle but….
Dadi: Then what has happened?
Soumya: Dadi, Aai and Baba won’t be able to come…. They have to go to our hometown as Baba’s uncle is not well….
Janhvi: We understand it is their duty…. Don’t worry Soumya we’ll pray on their behalf also….
Dadi: Janhvi is right….
Ahana: Dadi, I told Dev and Sonakshi also…. They said they’ll reach Haridwar directly from Delhi….

Ranveer: Not exactly…. He said that there are no traces of them after they left from Mumbai…. Their last location was Mumbai Railway Station…. After that which train they took…. Which city they went to…. Nothing is known….
Priyanka: Don’t worry Ranveer…. I am sure we’ll definitely find them soon….
Ranveer: When Priyanka, it’s been three years and we are still at square one…. I don’t know where more to search….
Priyanka: Ranveer…. I know Om Bhaiya very well…. He knows we’ll look for them that is why he has left no clues…. He knows how to cover his tracks….
Ranveer: I know Priyanka…. But there got to be a way…. I have been keeping track of all art exhibitions, art galleries…. Any place where Om can go….

Priyanka was thinking when something comes to her mind,

Priyanka: But what if Om Bhaiya is doing something other than painting and sculpting….

Aniruddh: He called me and said that Shivaay and Ranveer are still searching for us….
Omkara: I knew this would happen…. Shivaay won’t keep quiet until he finds us….
Aniruddh: I don’t know till when will be able to keep them away….
Omkara: I don’t know how we will do it…. But we have to keep them away….

They both are lost in their thoughts.

*FLASHBACK TO THREE YEARS AGO*

THE OBEROI UDAIVILAS, UDAIPUR,

Janhvi was walking towards Om when he said something and she stopped,

Omkara: Now we all know the entire truth…. Aniruddh and I are real brothers and Sakshi is our sister…. So Aniruddh and I have decided something….

He looks at all of them and all look at him, only Aniruddh knew what was going to happen,

Shivaay: What have you both decided?
Omkara: Shivaay…. Sakshi has gone through a lot in her life…. And because of all that she couldn’t get the happiness that she deserved…. Aniruddh and I have decided that we’ll give her all that lost happiness and all her rights….
Sakshi: Bhaiya….
Aniruddh: No Sakshi…. Let him finish….

All are surprised and confused but keep quiet and Om continues,

Omkara: So we have decided that after we all return to Mumbai…. We will live separately with Sakshi and Vikrant…. (All are shocked hearing this)…. As brothers it is Aniruddh’s and my duty to take care of our sister and give her all her rights….

All are shocked and there was a silence for some time.

Tej: What are you saying Om?
Aniruddh: He is right uncle…. Now that the truth is out…. We have to fulfill our duties….
Sakshi: No Bhaiya…. This is not right…. I don’t want you both to stay away from your families….
Vikrant: Sakshi is right…. You both cannot do this….

Om and Aniruddh come out of the past memories when there is a knock on the cabin door and their staff comes in.

Arjun (looking at his laptop): I know Ahana…. I’ll sleep on time…. You sleep….
Ahana: What is so important that you are looking at the laptop and answering?
Arjun: Nothing…. I was just checking about any new businesses that have gained success in past three years….
Ahana: Business in past three years…. But why suddenly….
Arjun: To find any clue about Aniruddh and others….
Ahana: Then you should search about Vikrant or Sakshi and any business related to them…. Maybe we’ll get something….
Arjun: I did try to find about Vikrant and what business he did…. But that is also equally difficult to find…. I didn’t find anything about him either….
Ahana: Om is an artist…. Aniruddh used to help Papa and you in business…. What else can they do other than the business they know about…?
Arjun: That is what I don’t understand…. If Om did any art exhibition we would have known some way or the other…. He is a famous artist….
Ahana: Om is famous…. But maybe they are somewhere where people don’t know much about Oberois or Raichands….

Sakshi was standing near the window lost in thoughts when Vikrant comes in and sees her; he goes and stands near her,

Vikrant: Still thinking about what happened that day….

Vikrant’s voice brought Sakshi out of her thoughts, she looks at him,

Sakshi: I think of it every day…. How can I ever forget that day…. All that happened because of me…. Families that were together from so many years lost all their happiness…. Either way I became the reason for my brothers’ unhappiness….

Tej: Shekhar is saying correct…. We’ll give Sakshi everything that is her right…. You will not leave us….

Before Om could say anything further he receives a slap, all are shocked seeing Pinky slapping him,

Pinky: Burden…. What did you say burden on us…. All these years we gave you love, care and affection…. And in a moment you termed everything as burden…. Jeth ji and Jethani ji loved you more than Rudra and Priyanka…. And you call their love burden…. They didn’t do anything to fulfill any responsibility…. They did it for you…. So that you don’t lose anything more in life…. And you called it burden…. How dare you…. How could you…. (She sits down crying and Anika comes to her)….

No one knew what to say, they were all silent, some crying, some shocked, some lost.

Sakshi’s tears flow and Vikrant wiped them,

Vikrant: I know how much it hurts you…. But what can we do…. We have promised Om that we won’t let anyone know that where we are…. I wish there was anything we could do…. We can only pray that Shivaay or someone finds us….
Sakshi: But how will anyone find us here…. It is difficult….
Vikrant: It is difficult but not impossible…. And don’t forget he is Shivaay Singh Oberoi…. He doesn’t lose….
Sakshi: You are right…. I hope Shivaay Bhaiya finds us….
Vikrant: Come now let us sleep…. Tomorrow is a special day for your Bhaiyas and Bhabhis….

Make the family complete once again…. Seeing the family together and happy is the only wish I have now…. Please keep all my children happy and together….

She finishes her prayers, Shivaay comes there, Dadi sees him and he smiles at her.

Shivaay: Dadi…. Let us leave now…. It is time….
Dadi: Haa Billu…. Let us go….

They both go to the living room where others were waiting for them; everyone takes their luggage and proceed to leave.

EVENING,

Omkara and Aniruddh had reached the award ceremony with the others. The host welcomes them and they meet other guests who were from similar fields of art and culture.

Host: I request all the guests to now get seated as we begin with the award ceremony….

The ceremony starts; one by one the winners for various awards come on stage and receive their awards,

Host: And now we announce one of our most prestigious awards of the night…. The award for upcoming talent in the Seven Sisters…. And this year’s award goes to ISHRI DANCE ACADEMY for their amazing work in this field from the past three years…. I request Mrs. Ishana Aniruddh Mehra to come on stage and accept the award….

All present there clap as Ishana gets up from the seat and walks to the stage and receives the award,

Host: Ma’am…. Please speak a few words to encourage others to work hard and become successful….

Ishana: First of all I would like to dedicate this award to my family…. (She looks at others sitting there and smiling at her)…. Without their hard work and support…. This wouldn’t have been possible…. So this award not only belongs to me but to all of them…. (People clap)…. I have always been taught that success comes only to those who work hard and believe in themselves…. No dreams can be fulfilled unless and until you believe that you can do it…. And I have got this trust and confidence from my family only…. So I would just tell all those wish to be successful…. Always work hard and have faith in yourself…. (Everyone present there claps)….

Ishana gets down with a smile and goes to her family, Sakshi and Gauri hug her, all were very happy. Ishana hands over the award to Om and Aniruddh,

Ishana: Even though I went on stage to receive it…. You both deserve it more than me…. You both have worked with me day and night to make this successful…. You deserve this….

AniOm smile and Ishana hugs them.

All of them reach Haridwar; they reach the hotel where they will be staying for a week, all get freshened up and meet in Dadi’s room,

Dadi: From tomorrow we will start the preparations…. We have only three days to arrange everything….
Shivaay: Don’t worry Dadi…. Everything will be arranged as you have said….
Yash: Yes Dadi…. We all will work together and finish the work….
Sumitra: Ahana, when are Sona and Dev coming?
Ahana: Maa, they will reach tomorrow morning….
Shakti: And what about Sahil, Anika beta?
Anika: Dad, he said he’ll reach by tomorrow afternoon….
Vikram: Good…. That means all will be here by tomorrow….

This is my 250th article on Telly Updates and I feel really happy to say this.

I have reached this number only because of all the friends I have made here. I always dreamt of being a writer but never thought I could do it so soon. I wished this article to be a very special one and so I decided it to be on my favorite serial – ISHQBAAZ and its lovely couples.

ONE SHOT – ISHQBAAZ

The Oberoi brothers – Shivaay, Omkara and Rudra had come to the park with their lovely wives – Anika, Gauri and Bhavya and their sweet children – Divyansh (Shivika’s son – 10 years old), Aradhya (Rikara’s daughter – 8 years old), Samaira (Ruvya’s daughter – 7 years old).

This was their routine, once a week they would bring them here and all of them would spend time with each other, Oberoi brothers and their wives would play with their kids, there was laughter, teasing each other and many happy moments, ShivOmRu felt content, they had AniRiYa as their life partners and their kids, who were their life, they were all content and happy, what more could they wish for and what more could God give them, a loving and caring family was all that brought happiness in their lives.

Priyanka and Ranveer would also join them with their son – Kartik (7 years old).

Together all would leave all the other worries of their life aside and just live these moments to the fullest. Over the years, they had understood that life is a collection of memories and that living those moments is the only way to make your life a memorable one.

AniRiYaPri were playing with their kids; all were laughing and teasing each other that the other one would definitely lose.

ShivOmRuVeer were smiling looking at their wives and their children; Om was in his thoughts when another ball came and hit him on the back, he came out of his thoughts and turned around, he saw a boy, he seemed to be Aradhya’s age, the boy looked at Om and then at his ball, which was lying near Om’s feet,

Boy: Sorry uncle…. I was playing and the ball came here and hit you…. Sorry….

Om smiled seeing the boy, and the boy’s fear, he picked up the ball and walked to the boy, the boy bent his head down, he kneeled in front of the boy, the boy looked at Om, Om smiled and the boy also smiled back, seeing Om talking to a boy ShivRuVeer also came there,

Omkara: What is your name beta?

The boy was about to say when they heard a voice,

Voice: Vihaan….

Hearing the voice they turned in the direction of the voice, the boy smiled seeing the lady while Om stood up and was shocked, ShivRu were also surprised, the lady smiled at the boy and then her eyes travelled to ShivOmRu, she was also shocked seeing him, they stood still, the boy ran to her and hugged her, Om was surprised seeing this,

Vihaan: Mumma…. I was playing and the ball came here…. I came here to take it….

The Oberois brothers were looking surprised at the mother-son, the lady was also looking at them not knowing what to say, she was about to say something when a man came there,

Man: Ishu…. You came here to bring Vihaan and are here only…. I think you both want to play without me….
Vihaan: No Papa…. How can we play without you…. We were coming only….
Ishana: Haa Abeer…. We were coming only…. Vihaan lost his ball so we were searching for it….

Abeer was smiling at his wife and son when he noticed ShivOmRuVeer standing there, he recognized them as everyone knew about the Oberoi family and their success over the years was talk of the town,

Abeer: Shivaay Singh Oberoi…. Never thought I would meet you like this….

He forwarded his hand towards Shivaay, Shivaay also smiled and shook hands with Abeer, Ishana and Om were still looking at each other, life had brought them face to face after so many years,

Shivaay: Abeer Mehra…. Right…. And please call me Shivaay…. By the way I have heard a lot about you and your company….
Abeer: Well not more than what we have heard about you all…. Oberois are the best in whatever they intend to do….
Rudra: Oberois are the best…. No one can be like us….

Abeer smiled and greeted Rudra and Ranveer, he then turned to Omkara and Om looked at him and smiled,

Abeer: Well I have heard a lot about you Omkara…. A lot from Ishu…. She always talks about your paintings and writings…. (He turned towards Ishana and she just smiled)….

Abeer held Ishana’s hand and brought her besides him, she just smiled at the four of them, and Vihaan stood near his parents,

Abeer: She is my Ishu…. I mean Ishana…. My wife and a great fan of your works Omkara….
Ishana: Hello…. (She just smiled)….

Seeing their husbands talking to someone, AniRiYaPri also come there with the kids,

Anika: Shivaay…. Who are they?

Aradhya looks at Vihaan, and they smile seeing each other,

Aradhya: Hi Vihaan….
Vihaan: Hi Aradhya….

The elders look at them surprised,

Gauri: Aradhya…. You know him….
Aradhya: Yes Mumma…. We are in the same class…. He is my friend Vihaan….
Shivaay: He is Abeer Mehra…. He has his own company for textiles…. And she is Ishana, his wife and their son Vihaan….

They all greet each other.

Aradhya then turns to Ishana, who smiles seeing her, Aradhya goes to Ishana, Ishana sits down in front of her, Aradhya kisses Ishana’s cheek and Ishana does the same, all are surprised seeing them,

Aradhya: Hi Ishu aunty…. I thought you forgot me…. You didn’t come to our house also….
Ishana: Sorry beta…. I couldn’t come earlier but I promise next time I will come with Vihaan….
Abeer: Yes…. Aradhya beta…. We all will definitely come….
Omkara: Aradhya…. You know her beta….
Vihaan: Haa uncle…. Aradhya met Mumma in our school…. That day Aradhya had invited us but we couldn’t come….
Bhavya: Now that the kids are here…. Let them play together…. They’ll enjoy each other’s company….
Shivaay: Bhavya is right…. Let them play….

The kids were happy and went to play with each other.

The ladies were talking with each other, ShivRuVeer were in their talks.

Om was standing a little away, his eyes were looking at Ishana, how much she had changed over the years, he thought about their meetings from years ago and how everything had ended with the confrontation, Om was in his thoughts when Abeer came to him, sensing someone’s presence Om came out of his thoughts and looked to his side, he saw Abeer and they smiled at each other,

Abeer: Ishu has told me everything about her past life…. (Om looked at him surprised)…. I know you both don’t share any good memories…. I know you both must have been very shocked…. Coming face to face after so many years…. Life is so unexpected…. Don’t know when what will happen…. Pata nahi kab, kaha, kinase takra jaye…. Well from whatever Ishu told me about you…. I must thank you Omkara…. (Om looked at him confused)….
Omkara: Thank me…. But why, what did I do….
Abeer: You changed Ishu…. After meeting you only…. She understood how wrong she was doing…. She respects you a lot…. She always told me that you changed her perspective of life…. After you found her truth and confronted her…. She was broken and felt very hurt for taking advantage of your trust…. Thank you for changing her thoughts and making her an honest person…. Because of you only I got this Ishu…. (He smiles and Om smiles back at him)….

Abeer leaves from there, Om was in thoughts,

Omkara (thinking): I am happy that Ishana changed herself…. She listened to her heart and followed the right path…. Just like I got my happiness in Gauri and Aradhya…. Ishana too got the happiness she deserves in Abeer and Vihaan…. Life teaches you so much in all these years…. I thought I would never meet her after that day…. But now that I met her…. I am happy that she is also happy in her life…. God always keep her and her family happy….

He smiled seeing Ishana, Abeer and Vihaan.

Rudra was talking to the others when his phone rang, seeing the caller id a broad smile appeared on his face, he excused himself and received the call,

Rudra: Hello Sumo…. Aaj yaad aayi meri….
Soumya: Sorry Crybaby…. I know I had promised to call earlier but you know naa….
Rudra: I know that now my Sumo has other important people in her life…. How’ll she have time for her long forgotten best friend…?
Soumya: You have not changed at all Rudra…. Still the same drama and all the attention seeking….
Rudra: Acha…. But still all your attention is reserved for some others only….
Soumya: Crybaby…. If you are going to taunt me like this only…. I’ll not call you ever and from next time I’ll call bade Bhaiya or Bade Baal wale Bhaiya only….
Rudra: Dare you do that…. Always remember you are my and only my best friend….

Rudra and Soumya smile remembering their fun and masti in Oberoi Mansion.

Rudra: By the way how is my champ…?
Soumya: Aryan…. Don’t even ask about him…. Every day he does a new mischief…. Kunal and I have hard time handling him…. All this is because of you only…. You only give him these ideas….
Rudra: C’mon Sumo…. Aryan is a kid…. I am worried for Kunal…. How he handles you….
Soumya: You don’t worry about Kunal…. By the way how is everyone else…?
Rudra: Everybody is fine…. We all miss you all….
Soumya: See, I called you for that only…. We are coming to India next week….
Rudra: Sumo…. Why didn’t you tell me earlier…. You are going to stay with us only…. I don’t want any arguments over that….
Soumya: Haa Rudra…. We’ll stay with you all only…. Just don’t tell anyone…. I want to surprise everyone….
Rudra: Don’t worry Sumo I’ll not tell anyone…. I’ll make all arrangements for your stay…. See you soon….
Soumya: See you Crybaby…. Bye….

Rudra disconnected the call and is lost in thoughts,

Rudra (thinking): I know Soumya…. Many things happened in our past life…. And we have gone through many hard times but I am happy that in the end we both are happy…. (He smiles seeing Bhavya and Samaira)…. I am happy that you also got your happiness with Kunal and now you have Aryan also…. I just wish that our friendship always remains like this…. You’ll always be my Sumo and I’ll always be your crybaby…. May God always keep you happy….

All were busy with each other when Ishana got a call and moved to the other side, after finishing her call, she turned around and was surprised to see Om standing there,

Omkara: Hi Ishana…. Life is so unpredictable….
Ishana: Hi…. You are right…. I never thought that I would meet you like this Om…. After that day I didn’t have the courage to face you…. I am sorry for whatever I did…. I know you must be feeling….
Omkara: Ishana…. Abeer told me everything that I need to know…. After listening to him…. I feel happy that you took the right decision…. I am happy that you have someone like Abeer in your life….
Ishana: You haven’t changed at all Om…. Still the same pure heart…. Thank you so much Om for making me face the truth…. You showed me the right choice….
Omkara: Even I should thank you Ishana…. Somewhere you also changed my perspective…. Life is not only black and white…. Sometimes it has to be grey also…. You were not completely wrong…. The situation was not correct…. Maybe we were meant to meet each other to show us some real facts about life…. Facts that we knew were true but just couldn’t accept then…. Well with time we both understood those facts and have accepted them….
Ishana: Om…. You are right…. We just needed a different perspective in life….
Omkara: Now that we have understood everything…. (He forwards his hand towards her)…. Can we be friends again…. (Ishana looks at him surprised)…. Ishana….

Ishana sees him, he smiles at her, she feels happy and smiles, she shakes hand with him,

Ishana: This friendship is for a lifetime now Om…. You can never back off….

They both smile at each other.

Shivaay, Rudra, Gauri and Abeer see this and are happy seeing Ishana and Omkara.

It was getting dark, all of them decided to leave to their respective homes.

Divyansh: Abeer uncle…. Please bring Vihaan to Oberoi Mansion…. We’ll have more fun there….
Abeer: Of course buddy…. We’ll definitely come to Oberoi Mansion….
Ishana: But you all also have to come to our house….
Gauri: Sure Ishana…. We’ll also come to meet you all….

They all say bye to each other and walk towards the car parking.

Priyanka was about to sit in their car when someone calls her and she turns around to see the person, a smile crept on her face, the person smiles and hugs her, she too hugs back,

Priyanka: Mishti…. What a surprise yaar…. When did you come to India and why didn’t you tell me before that you are here….
Mishti: Sorry yaar Prinku…. I didn’t get time only…. (She then sees the others)…. All of you are here…. It’s been a long time that I met you all Shivaay Bhaiya, Om Bhaiya and Rudra Bhaiya….

Priyanka then introduces Mishti to the Ranveer, her Bhabhis, Ishana, Abeer and then the children.

Mishti: Nice meeting you all…. Prinku, I’ll call my husband and daughter also…. Wait a minute….

Mishti calls a man, he was talking on phone, his back was facing them, and beside him was a seven year old girl,

Mishti: Dev…. Siya…. (Oberois are surprised hearing the name Dev)….

The girl runs to Mishti,

Mishti: Prinku…. She is my daughter…. Siya….

All of them smile at Siya and she smiles back, the man then turns, Oberois are shocked seeing him, he was none other than Dev Chhabra, Dev also sees them and is shocked,

Mishti: Prinku…. He is my husband Dev…. And Dev, she is Priyanka, my college friend….
Dev: Hello everyone….

They also greet Dev.

Rudra (whispers to ShivOm): Never thought that we’ll meet the people whom we thought we would never meet again on the same day…. First Ishana Bhabhi and now Dev….
Omkara: Life is like this only Rudra…. You never know what will happen….
Shivaay: I think we should behave normally with them…. Children are also here….
Priyanka: Mishti…. You never told that Dev is your husband….
Mishti: Prinku…. I thought after whatever happened with Dev and you…. I thought it was better that you both meet in person only….
Dev: Yes Priyanka…. I only told Mishti not to tell you ever…. I thought we would meet you all once we come to India….

Priyanka looks at them surprised,

Ranveer: You both did the right thing…. I think some things should be sorted out in person only….
Shivaay: Ranveer is saying correct…. Dev…. I am really sorry for whatever I did with you earlier…. I know my apology wouldn’t bring back the lost time but….
Dev: Please Shivaay Bhaiya…. Don’t say sorry…. Whatever you did was for your sister…. I understand your point of view also…. I have no grudges against anyone….
Mishti: Dev is right Bhaiya…. I know both Prinku and you for so many years…. I know how much you love her…. All that was just a result of your love and concern for you….
Priyanka: Mishti…. Dev…. You both are really good…. I always wondered how I would face Dev if I ever met him again…. I am glad that I met him today…. Dev…. You are really nice guy and Mishti is very lucky to have you…. This was meant to happen that’s why things didn’t work out for us earlier….
Ranveer: Priyanka is right…. She was meant to be with me…. And you were meant to be with Mishti…. That’s why some things happen in life…. Life has its own plan for all of us…. We don’t have any control over those….
Dev: Absolutely correct Ranveer…. I agree with you….
Omkara: So now that you are here…. You have to come to Oberoi Mansion….
Mishti: Yes Bhaiya…. We’ll definitely come…. Even I wish to meet everybody else….
Rudra: I think we should have a get together soon…. Maybe on Sunday…. You all please come to Oberoi Mansion…. Please….
Anika: Rudra is right…. Please all of you come…. We’ll have a great time and the kids will also have their fun….
Abeer: Sure Anika…. We’ll definitely come….
Dev: Sounds like a perfect plan….
Rudra (thinking): Sumo will also be there on Sunday…. It’ll be fun…. Just like old times…. All of us together leaving all our past memories behind….

All of them smile and bid bye to each other and get into their respective cars.

Ishana sees Om with Gauri and Aradhya and smiles, she then gets into her car with Abeer and Vihaan, Om turns to see Ishana, Abeer and Vihaan and smiles.

Priyanka sees Dev, Mishti and Siya, she feels happy that Dev got the happiness he deserved, she gets into her car, Dev sees Priyanka with Ranveer and Kartik, and he also feels happy for them.

Rudra looks at Bhavya and Samaira and smiles feeling happy, he then sees Soumya, Kunal and Aryan’s photo in his phone and feels happy.

AUTHOR’S NOTE: I hope you all will like this OS…. I really wished this article to be a special one…. A recent incident made me realize that life is so unpredictable and we never know what will happen…. So we should try to live all the moments we have left with us to the fullest…. We should try and understand the perspective of the other person also…. Sometimes life doesn’t give you a second chance to make things right…. Not all are lucky to have a second chance…. So instead of waiting for the right time to mend things…. We should just use the time we have to do the right things…. Not all that is lost can be found again…. This OS is a work of fiction and so the characters got their second chances to rectify their mistakes and give each other chances in life again…. But in reality we don’t always get those chances…. So please with whatever chances you have…. Live them to the fullest and don’t hurt others….

(Note – I know that last chapter ended on Drishya telling Kshitij that she took revenge while pretending as Maya. This chapter is for bringing up the Shivika’s past and Drishya tried to took control over Shivay as Maya. You will get next chapter in two or three days in which you can read about Drishya being Maya. I want to show past that’s why this chapter started like this. It is definitely a glance to flashback)

Anika stepped down from the rocks and looked at the chilly water. She was close to nature from start and whenever she design Dresses, she goes to a peaceful place. She was grown up like a princess, her father lifts up the whole house if she gets a single scratch. Her all wishes get fulfiled even before she uttered them. Her father and sister are very overprotective about her. She is not complaining over it but somewhere she lost herself. She wants to be free. It is just common thing as everyone needs to overcome their complication but from the past ten years, her sister solved her all problems. She wants to fight by own but she can’t make them hurt by telling that she feel caged because of their unnecessary care.

She can only think about this, but can’t say. It’s been years she is gathering the courage to tell them but she becomes helpless in front. She feels peaceful in-between nature. She packed her notes and all things as darkness start spreading across the sky. She picked up her bag but before she moved, she heard a splash like someone get fall down from a great height. She looks upward to the cliff but can’t see clearly because of the dark. She runs toward the river with her mobile flashlight. She jumps in the river as soon she sees someone is drowning. “Are you alright?” She asked after coming to the shore. She pressed his chest for taking out the water His face was not new for her, she heard about his fashion company in her college. She knows he was the only heir to Oberoi textiles. She picked up from the phone and dialled the emergency number for an ambulance.

Drishya’s hands start trembling as she realises that he disappears in the depth of darkness. “Shivay” She shouts while trying to see down from that cliff. “Drishya” Swayam shout making way between the bushes in dark. He found her sitting at the corner. “What are you doing? You might be fall from here accidentally ” He makes her stand by holding her shoulder. “I killed him,” She said looking toward him. “Who?” He asked while wiping her tears. “Shivay, He falls down from here. Let’s go and find him downside” She said while moving but he held her wrist. “He probably gets die” He replied as she looks backwards. “Don’t say these type of things. Let’s go” She said while he pulled her toward him. “Have you lost your mind? Don’t be an emotional fool. We will get in trouble” He shouts while she looks on in disbelief. “We can’t abandon him for dying. We are doctors” She said while he looks her frustrated. “Shut up! This is not the time for preaching. I told you to stay away from Shivay and now also you are going to do the same mistake” He said. “I don’t want him to die” She cried. “Yes, Just like that I don’t want you in any trouble. Let’s go from here and forget everything ” He told while dragging her outside.

Anika accompanies him to the hospital formally as he was injured on his head. This was she tell herself but he was his ideal when it comes to the fashion world. As soon she comes outside to the ambulance, ward boys get shifted him. “Are you his guardian?” The nurse asked her while she shook her head negatively. “No, I just help him” She replied. “Then contact with his guardian as we need his agreement to a surgery,” She said as she looks on. “Surgery? Was he seriously injured?” Anika asked worriedly. “It is a small surgery. We need payment too before starting” Nurse replied. “I will do payment but you should start it,” She said. “What about the sign mam?” She asked while she takes the paper from her hand and signs it. “It will get late if we wait for actuary guardian. I will inform his family larger” She added.

“Just stop the car,” Drishya said to him. “Why?” Swayam asks. “Are you stopping the car or want me to jump from it?” She said. “What’s wrong with you? Are you crazy?” He asked while stopping the car. “You are crazy. I can’t leave someone dying ” She said while he held her arm. “Ishu….please” He requests but she jerks his hand and moves from there. “Ishu….” He shouts frustratedly stamping on the steering. Drishya stops a taxi and went back toward the forest. It didn’t take her a few seconds to get in that place inside the forest. She doesn’t need any sign to follow, her memory was enough. She immediately runs toward the downside. She tries to find him but he wasn’t there.

Anika looks toward her sketchbook. The designs which she drew get almost drenched and ruined by water. This was her assessment which she needs to submit the other day. She glances her watch and wondered why didn’t her sister called yet? It was quite late, and normally she has thirty calls and messages from her sister but what was wrong today? She decided to inform her of by own and dialled her number. “Ani, Did you reached home. I will be getting late because of some emergency ” Drishya replied the call and cut the call without listening another side. “But Ishu….” Anika shook her head and dialled her number again. She cut it after realising that maybe she was busy with something important. She thinks once to went her home back after all her duty was over. She made him reach the nearby hospital and even did payment then why is she staying here? She was lost in her thought when she sees nurse coming outside. “How is he?” She asked. “It went well. He needs to take rest for someday. You can see him if you want” She replied while she nods her head. She decided to walk inside after the dilemma. She sits on the chair beside him. She wants to hire in Oberoi textile from starting. “Did you fall by own from that cliff or someone pushed you?” She asked who was unconscious. She didn’t get to know when her eyes get closed and she slept there.

Shivay opens his eyes with a terrible headache. He tries to touch bandage on his head but felt a hold on his right hand. He looks down and gets surprised. “Who are you?” He said jerking his hand and as a result, her head gets collided with the edge of the bed. “Ouch…..What the hell?” Anika blinks her eyes while caressing her forehead. “You get your consciousness back…” She said while he looked at her clueless. “Who are you? Why were you sleeping on my hand” He asked while she looks on. “Sorry, I didn’t know when I slept. Hope your hand is not paining” She said. “I am Anika, I saved you when you get fall from the cliff” She added while he looks on. “By the way, did you fall by own?” She asked making him remember happenings. “Yes”, He replied after a pause. ” Who is your guardian? I need to tell them about you” She asked as he shook his head. “Is there anyone I can call for you?” She asked again but he tried to find his phone. “Call on Oberoi textiles and ask for my secretary,” He said after realising that he lost his phone. She nods her head and told him to take rest. She thinks him extremely ungrateful and detaching as she comes outside. She looked at her phone, there was no single trace that her sister tries to reach to her. What’s wrong with her? She thought to inform her first but her phone was switched off. She then calls in his company to inform his secretary.

Drishya look at the paperweight lying on the floor. She run her fingers on her hairs, it was making her crazy. She didn’t sign up for being a murderer. What was her fault? She did the same which everyone was doing with her. The Whitecoat she wears proudly get soaked in blood, the hands who saved lives turned into the one who took lives. She wears her medical coat and combs her hairs. “Dr Drishya, Didn’t you went home last night? You don’t have shift…right” Advik said like he was asking for a reason. “I will talk to you later….” She replied and walked out from there. “I killed him. Why are you shouting and who’s murder you are talking about?” He asker closing the file on his hand. “Shivay…..I killed Shivay” She said while he shook his head. “So what! Nothing can be best for revenge. Don’t worry about the investigation, I will take you out from this mess” He said as she looks him angrily. “I don’t want to kill anyone for my revenge…..” She shouts. “I doubt that you are really smart. Nobody cares about whether he exists or not. He is harmless in both way” He said while she glared him. “You did that intentionally….” She asked while he twitches his eyebrow. “You are a fool. I told you to become Maya and took control over Shivay’s life. What the hell you did…..you killed a person?” He said making her shocked. “I will turn myself in, then you will be in this mess too” She threatens while he chuckled. “I was checking your loyalty…You are not at all loyal. Shivay is alive.” He said as she looks on. “Why would I want to kill him when taking control is more fun than murder?” He said while she gritted her teeth. “Try to be like Maya, think like her and act like her that you perfectly mixed up in his imagination. Who told you to go and directly tell him that you are Maya? It’s obvious he will attack you” He said.
“This is perfect opportunity to give reason to Swayam,” He said while she sighed. “When are you giving remaining proofs? I won’t do anything until then.” She said. “You are being unloyal now…..It was a deal, you should do what I say like a puppet” He said with a smirk. “Yes, I will. It is fun to control someone like me or else you never think in your dreams that lowlife person like you can control a gifted person like me” She served him back with a taunt. “Hey! Don’t forget your place” He shouts while she chuckled. “If it wasn’t for my terrible fate, you all will be in my feet. Do you know how much rare is to find someone like me? You can’t even do a diagnosis if people like me start pretending to be like normal?” She said and moved out of his cabin.

Anika tried to dial Drishya’s number once again but she gets failed to reach her. She starts getting worried about her. “I’m Juhi and secretary of Mr Oberoi,” Juhi said to her. “Thank you for saving him,” She said while Anika smile. “No mention, Take good care of him. I need to go somewhere” Anika said to her. “Sure, You might be getting tired too. Thank you for being his side” Juhi said while she nods her head. Though he should thank her, she was thanking her. “Share your number, I will call you for payment,” Juhi said. “There is no need” She replied but she gives her number after she insists. “Where are you Ishu?” She thinks while looking at the window or cab.

“Let’s meet….” Drishya said to him over the phone. “Sorry for behaving rude last night. You are alright” Swayam asked. “Where were you last night?” He added. “I was in the hospital. I don’t feel like going home” She replied. “Why didn’t you call me?” He asked. “You can also call?” She asked. “I thought you won’t like to see my face yesterday” He replied while she smiles. “Yes, I want to talk about something important. I am sending you address” She said after cutting the call.
“Where is she?” Shivay asked after seeing Juhi. “You are talking about Anika….she already left” She replied while he nods his head. “Sir, Should I call her?” She asked. “Nothing, She left her sketchbook,” He said. “Don’t worry, I will return her?” She said. “I will return as I have to said thanks too,” He said keeping sketchbook on side stand while she looks on his changed behaviour. It was not a movie that someone changed just because of a girl, it doesn’t seem that childish. She was not sure but she felt there is a deep reason for it, maybe she was his saviour, she saved his life.

“Are you okay?” Swayam asked looking at her while she nods her head. “I want to return something,” She said while he looks on cluelessly. “What?” He asked. She took out their promise ring from her finger and keep it on his hand. “It’s over…” She said as he looks at her in disbelief. “Drishya….” He said. “It’s done for me,” She said. “What do you mean that it’s done for you? Is this a joke? Are you playing with me?” He shouts. “Are you telling me that you fall out of love, suddenly in one day?” He asked with hurt. “It took ages to fall in love but a moment to fall out of it. Yes, I don’t want to be a person who is selfish like you” She said from standing while he held her hand. “What’s going on? You know what you are selfish not me” He shouts as she looks around. “People are watching. Don’t create an unnecessary scene” She said jerking his hand away. “Fine, let’s talk somewhere else” He picked up the ring and dragged her outside the cafe. “What’s gotten into you? Why are you doing this to me?” He asked while stopping his tears. “Why are you asking me when you know the reason? When you can’t fulfil the Hippocratic oath then how will you be able to fulfil the mere promises given to me?” She said tearing him apart. “Ishu…..I did that for you. I thought you get in trouble, it’s not that I want to abandon Shivay there but you are the first priority” He said while holding his forehead. He is not getting what happen to her all of a sudden? She was behaving reserved from some past months but he thinks it as a pressure of their profession. But she didn’t mention breaking up that time also, but why is she bringing it now. “And my first priority is something else. I can’t be with you” She said while he closed his eyes in frustration. “What happened to you? Sorry if you ger hurt last night but please not do this” He requests while cupping her face.
“Why don’t you get it that I don’t want to be with you? Why are you forcing me?” She shout. “There is a reason right…I don’t believe your words” He asked after wiping his tears. “I already told you the reason…..Didn’t I?” She said as he tried to read her face. The worst thing is that he can’t read her memories, why it was to be her who have this ability. His hypnosis can’t work on her as she herself was intimidating. “Why? Just tell me the real reason behind it” He asked as she closed her eyes feeling helpless. “It was fated to be like this. All relations can’t be maintained like perfect relationships. Why are you making it such a big deal?” She said?  “I misjudged you, You always think from your head….right,” He asked. “Yes, I don’t want to hurt you. It’s just that I can’t be with you” She said as he held the ring tightly in his hand. “You are going to regret this…You can’t ever forget your surroundings, How will you going to forget me?” He asked as she looks on. “Memories are formed inside the head when you forget the existence of that thing in real” She replied and turned. “Don’t resign to your job. I can’t live without looking at your face. I am not done yet, my love still exists.” He said from behind as tears escape from her eyes. “Sorry….” She uttered softly. “I understand” He replied walking from there leaving her. She expects him to turn back but he didn’t. “It’s not because of Baba. I don’t want you to involve in this mess. I only have you and Ani whom I want to protect with everyone.” She thinks as tears start blurring her sight. “Sorry for making things hard for you. For me, I can’t be outside of you but thanks for holding me warmly. That was true that it took a moment to fall out of love but it took ages for forgetting memories.” She uttered while staring her empty finger. Indeed, love is like a sea, it is deeper when it’s silent.

Omkara: Haa Sakshi…. Tell us what has happened?
Sakshi: Bhaiya…. First you have to promise me that you won’t say no….
Aniruddh: But how can we promise without knowing what the matter is?
Ishana: Why can’t you promise…. Don’t you trust your sister this much also?
Aniruddh: Not like that…. I was just saying….
Sakshi: It is okay Bhaiya…. Bhabhi is right…. I thought that you will agree but….
Omkara: No….No Sakshi…. Nothing like that…. (He looks at Aniruddh who nods his head)…. We promise that will not say no….

Sakshi becomes happy while IshRi smile that what they thought will happen, Vikrant feels something suspicious but keeps quiet,

Sakshi: Bhaiyas…. You both are the best….
Vikrant: Sakshi…. Now tell us what the matter is….
Gauri: Yes Sakshi…. Tell us…. We are waiting….
Sakshi: Bhaiya…. It’s been three years that we have been here…. In these years we all were busy setting up our new life and adjusting to our new surroundings…. (The boys were listening)…. The boys were thinking about what Sakshi said and the girls were waiting for their reply,

Aniruddh: You are right Sakshi…. We didn’t think of this earlier….
Omkara: This is a good thought…. We should have done it earlier only…. It is good that you thought of it Sakshi….
The girls feel happy that half of their plan succeeded.

Vikrant: This is a good thing Sakshi…. Then why did you think that we would say no…. Why did you ask for a promise first…?
Sakshi: Wo…. Vikrant….
Omkara: What has happened Sakshi…. Actually Vikrant is right why did you think we would say no?
Gauri: Because the puja will not be done in this house but somewhere else….
Aniruddh: Somewhere else…. Where?
Ishana: Haridwar….

The boys are shocked and get up from their place, the girls also get up.

Gauri: Om….
Omkara: Not a word more…. We will not leave this city…. If we go there and someone recognizes us, Shivaay or others wouldn’t waste any time and come for us…. I cannot let that happen…. (All look at him surprised)…. The puja will be done in this house or not done at all….
Sakshi: But Bhaiya…. My friend said that if such puja is done in Haridwar…. It gives peace to the souls….
Aniruddh: Om…. I think Sakshi is right…. Such puja should be done in a pilgrimage site….
Omkara: The puja should be done from the heart…. How does the place matter…. I have already made myself clear…. Either here or nowhere….

Om is about to leave when he stops hearing Gauri’s words,

Gauri: Why should you always decide and we have to follow whatever you say…. (Om turns back and all are shocked hearing this)…. Why should we always listen to whatever you say…?
Ishana: Gauri…. It is not like that…. Om is just worried…. (Ishana sensed where this could lead to)….
Gauri: No Ishana…. This is not right…. How can he decide everything on his own and we will all keep quiet and follow him…. He has to understand that not always he will be right….
Aniruddh: Gauri…. You are getting it wrong…. Om doesn’t mean anything like that….
Omkara: No Aniruddh…. Let her say it…. (He looks at Gauri)…. Gauri…. Say whatever you want….
Gauri: It is very simple Om…. You have to think about our opinions also…. You cannot decide everything on your own always…. Years ago also you took the decision on your own and we all without any choice of ours agreed with you…. But this cannot happen always…. (All look at her shocked)….
Sakshi: Bhabhi…. (She couldn’t say anything ahead while others were also quiet)….
Gauri: I said what I felt as right…. Om, you decide what you want…. But also think what others want….

Gauri leaves from there before anyone could stop her, Om feels disheartened by Gauri’s words and goes outside, Aniruddh follows him, and all others also leave to their rooms.

HARIDWAR,

All the family members went near the Ganga Ghat to meet the priest, Mahapandit Keshav about whom Guru Ji had told them. They reached the place and saw an elderly man
sitting under a tree; many people had gathered and were taking blessings from him.

They all also walked to the man, all took blessings from him one by one, and he smiles at them.

It was Ranveer’s turn to take the blessing, Ranveer looked at him, the man smiled and blessed him, Ranveer was about to go when the man said something and Ranveer looked at him,

Keshav: You cannot run from your past…. One day or the other it’ll catch up with you….

All look at him confused while Ranveer is shocked,

Pinky: OMM…. What do you mean pandit ji…. We didn’t understand….
Keshav: Don’t worry beta…. The one who has to understand has understood….

Keshav smiles while Ranveer is more shocked and looks at him.

Keshav: You all have come for a special puja…. Right….
Dadi: Yes pandit ji…. Our Guru Ji told about the puja and you so we came here….
Janhvi: Pandit ji…. Will our wish get completed after we do this puja?
Keshav: Don’t worry beta…. All will get fine…. Nothing can remain messed up for longer time…. (He said the last line looking at Ranveer)….

The elders talk about the puja with the priest while the youngsters were roaming around the river side. Ranveer was thinking about the words said by the priest.

Ranveer (thinking): Why did he say like that…. How can he know about me and my past…. I have never told about this to anyone…. Not even my friends and Priyanka…. Then how can he know about me…. He said “You cannot run from your past…. One day or the other it’ll catch up with you”…. Does that mean my past is going to come back to me…. No it cannot come…. I won’t let it come…. I’ll stop it….

He was in his own thoughts, Shivaay comes to him,

Shivaay: Ranveer yaar…. Where are you lost?
Ranveer: Nothing Shivaay…. I was just thinking like that….
Shivaay: Are you sure you look worried about something….
Ranveer: No yaar…. Why will I be worried…. I am just wishing that the puja fulfills everyone’s wish….
Shivaay: Yes…. Even I hope that this happens….

They both were walking when they reach the place where everyone was present,

Dadi: Now you all have to do the arrangements….
Ahana: Don’t worry Dadi…. We’ll do everything…. You all just have to sit and guide us….
Soumya: Ahana Bhabhi is right….
Yash: Now let us get back to the hotel…. It gets too cold in the evenings and nights….
Shivaay: Yash is right…. We’ll start work from tomorrow….

They all return to the hotel.

Gauri was sitting in her room when Om comes there, Gauri looks at him and again looks at the other side, Om goes and sits beside her,

Omkara: So my wife is still upset with me…. (She doesn’t say anything)…. If she is upset how will I tell her the good news…? (She still doesn’t say anything)…. I think she doesn’t want to know only…. I should go then….

He gets up from his place and is about to go when Gauri holds his hand, he smiles, and then looks at her,

Gauri: What is the good news?
Omkara: I thought you are upset with me….
Gauri: Are you telling me or should I go from here…. (She gets up to leave)….
Omkara: Wait baba I’ll tell you…. (He makes her sit near him)…. We are going to Haridwar….

Gauri looks at him shocked and he smiles, she becomes happy,

Gauri: Really…. (Om nods and she hugs him)…. Thank you Om…. And sorry for whatever I said in the morning…. I shouldn’t have said it like that….
Omkara: Gauri…. Whatever you said was correct only…. I should think from your point of view also…. (He smiles at her)….And well the thank you belongs to someone else….
Gauri: Who…. (She asked confused)….

Om points towards the door, Aniruddh and Ishana come inside,

Omkara: They both talked to me and made me understand that I should change my mind….

Gauri hugs Anish,

Gauri: Thank you guys….
Aniruddh: What thank you Gauri…. This is our family right…. Then how can anyone be upset here….
Ishana: Aniruddh is right….

Rikara smile at them.

Omkara: Do the preparations now…. We’ll leave day after tomorrow….
Gauri: Sakshi will be so happy knowing this….
Ishana: Come Gauri…. We’ll tell her…. (IshRi leave from there)….
Omkara: I hope nothing goes wrong….
Aniruddh: Don’t worry Om…. Nothing will go wrong…. We are there naa….

Om smiles at him and he smiles back.

Ishana was sitting near the window in the living room, lost in her thoughts,

*FLASHBACK TO THREE YEARS AGO*

Everyone had returned to Mumbai from Udaipur, they had thought that the weddings would bring happiness back to their lives but the recent events had changed the course of all their happiness to sadness.

Each and every one had tried to convince Om to change his decision, even Aniruddh tried to talk to him after seeing the family members but everything in vain, Om didn’t change his decision.

ONE DAY BEFORE LEAVING MUMBAI,

TEJ-JANHVI’S ROOM,

Ishana and Gauri came to the room as Tej had called both of them; they both entered and saw Tej, Janhvi, Shekhar and Sumitra sitting there,

Gauri: Dad, you called us….
Tej: Yes beta…. Come sit here….

IshRi nodded and sat with Janhvi and Sumitra, Tej placed his hands on their heads and looked at them with tears, and they both were surprised,

Ishana: Tej uncle…. Please don’t bring these tears…. We’ll talk to Om…. We still have time….
Gauri: Haa Dad…. Ishu is right…. We’ll convince Om…. You all don’t worry….
Tej: No one can convince Om now…. I know him very well…. Once he decides something…. He won’t back off….
Shekhar: So now we have only one thing to do…. Agree to his decision….
Ishana: But papa…. This is not right….
Sumitra: We know this is not right…. But at this point of time, this is the only thing we can do…. And that’s why we called you here….

Gauri: Ishana…. Where are you lost?
Ishana: Nothing Gauri…. (She turned the other side and wiped her tears)….
Gauri: Ishana…. You know naa you cannot hide your tears from me…. (She made Ishana face her and wiped her tears)…. Now tell me what happened….
Ishana: Nothing Gauri…. I just miss everyone…. They all must be so sad without us…. Just like we are sad without them….
Gauri: I know Ishana…. But what can we do…. We have promised Om and Aniruddh that we won’t tell anyone about where we are….
Ishana: I know we made a promise but I just wish that some miracle happens and we meet them….

Sakshi comes there and heard the conversation,

Sakshi: Bhabhi…. (She went to Ishana)…. Don’t worry us are going to Haridwar naa…. We’ll pray there and maybe our wish will come true…. We should believe that God cannot keep loved ones away from each other for long time….
Gauri: I hope that whatever you are saying happens soon Sakshi….
Sakshi: Bhabhis…. You both don’t take tension and prepare for our trip…. God will make everything fine….

HARIDWAR,

SHIVAAY-ANIKA’S ROOM,

Shivaay was reading a file when Anika came there, she saw him reading the file and hit her forehead in disbelief,

Anika: Shivaay…. At least keep your work aside till the puja happens…. Can’t you stay away from your work…? (She said taking the file from him)…. What is so important?
Shivaay: Anika…. (He took the file from her)…. This is not office work…. I was trying to find about Om or Aniruddh…. This is that information….
Anika: So did you find anything…. (She said and sat beside him)…. Tell me Shivaay, did you find anything?
Shivaay: No Anika…. I didn’t find anything…. Not even a single clue…. (He bent his head down feeling sad)….

Anika made him face her, she wiped his tears and he just hugged her tight, Anika understood that he needs some time and just hugged him caressing his back,

Anika: Don’t worry Shivaay…. I know you’ll find them soon…. Don’t forget you are Shivaay Singh Oberoi…. And he never fails at anything….

Shivaay instantly broke the hug and looked at her; she looked at him confused by his sudden action,

Shivaay: Anika…. You are the best…. (He smiled and he kissed her forehead making her even more confused)….
Anika: Shivaay…. What did I do…. And you are smiling like this…. Tell me I didn’t get anything….
Shivaay: Anika…. What did you say just now…?
Anika: I said you are Shivaay Singh Oberoi and he never fails…. But what about that Shivaay…. I have said it so many times earlier also…. Why is it making you so happy suddenly…?
Shivaay: Oh Anika…. I’ll explain you…. Tell me who I am….
Anika: Shivaay…. What are you asking…. You are Shivaay…. And in your tadibaaz mode you are the great Shivaay Singh Oberoi…. (She does his signature hair step and they both laugh)….
Shivaay: Just like that who is Om?
Anika: Shivaay…. Have you lost your mind…. Om will be Om only naa…. (She says with irritation)…. He won’t become Ranveer Singh….
Shivaay: Oh God Anika…. I didn’t mean like that…. What is Om’s full name?
Anika: Omkara Singh Oberoi…. (Shivaay nods in negative and then something strikes her)…. No he is not Omkara Singh Oberoi…. He is Omkara Ranjit Mehra….
Shivaay: Yes…. I know Om very well…. After leaving the house he won’t use the Oberoi name….
Anika: But Shivaay…. Om is not the one to care so much about surname…. He won’t use Mehra either….
Shivaay: Yes but what about others…. Aniruddh or Ishu or Gauri…. They can use the Mehra surname….
Anika: This can happen…. So now what will you do….
Shivaay: Now I’ll look for the Mehras…. (He dialed a number)…. As soon as I return to Mumbai, you have to meet me…. Till then you do my one work…. (He told the person the work and disconnected the call)….

Aniruddh: Relax Om…. We’ll go and come back…. No one will know anything….
Vikrant: Haa Om…. You are thinking too much…. No one will recognize us there….
Sakshi: Guys…. Now let us leave…. Others we’ll miss our flight….

They all nod and leave.

HARIDWAR,

All of them were busy doing the arrangements for the puja that was to happen the next day, all were busy in their work.

Ranveer was in his thoughts, his eyes were searching for Mahapandit Keshav, he had some questions and needed their answers, when he saw Keshav coming there, and sitting under the tree, Ranveer looked around and saw that all were busy with their work, without getting noticed, Ranveer walked towards the Mahapandit,

Keshav saw him coming and smiled,

Ranveer: I want to talk to you….
Keshav: I know…. You’ll have many questions in your mind…. I’ll answer them…. (He pointed Ranveer towards the seat)…. Sit here and relax first….

Ranveer sat down nearby,

Ranveer: Why did you say those things to me…. Why did you say only to me…. You said that we cannot run away from the past…. We have to face our past…. What does it mean….
Keshav: So this means what I thought about you is right…. You have a past that troubles you….
Ranveer: What are you saying…. You only said that my past will catch up with me…. And now you are behaving as if you don’t know anything….

Keshav smiled making Ranveer confused,

Keshav: I know I told you that your past will catch up with you…. But that doesn’t mean I know you or your past…. (Ranveer looked on)…. I only told you what I have learnt from experience in all these years…. I saw some pain, some disappointment, some regret, some longing in your eyes…. That is why I said that…. Looking at your family…. I understood your present isn’t bothering you…. That means your past is…. I just said this to make you think about your past…. And you did that…. That means you have a past that troubles you….
Ranveer: So you don’t know anything about me….
Keshav: No I don’t personally know you…. But I know that you have some troubles and I’ll only tell you that you should face them…. You cannot run away forever…. Someday you’ll have to stop and that day your past will catch up with you….
Ranveer: Wounds give you more pain if you touch them again and again…. It is better you ignore those wounds and leave them as it is…. (He looked the other side)….
Keshav: Wounds left untreated give you pain for a longer time…. Beta…. (Ranveer looked at him)…. You still have time to treat your old wounds…. Treat them before they leave scars that you’ll regret forever….

Ranveer was in thoughts and Keshav just smiled at him and left from there.

Shivay Singh Oberoi moves to and fro after the court session. This was the first case of his career which he loses.  This would be more accurate to say that he ends up losing this case because of her. He snapped the files closed which are on his desk and close his eyes over frustration. He turned and then glance the young lady stood there in police custody. Taking up the piles of the file in his hand, he walked in that direction. “I want to talk from her. Give me two minutes ” He said to the officer who nods his head. Before the officer unlocked her handcuff she shrugged her hands. “What do you wanna ask?” She asked him. “Why did you do that? How could you confess of killing someone in the court?” He asked unsettling with the frustration of losing. “Because I killed people. I am the murderer” She replied before moving with officers. He stares her until she disappeared from his sight.

She stared the black and white pattern as light entered through the small window of a prison. That window is the only a source of light there, and she doesn’t need it either. She loved the pitch darkness, eerie, gloomy surroundings and creepy sounds. Didn’t villains suppose to like that? She sees these all in movies. Villains are evil, pure evil who killed people. Nobody wants to look upon them. Everyone wish for their death. They are Monsters who get fed up by harming others, they find peace in the suffering of others. She was grown up while hating villains but didn’t realise when did she become one of them. When did she feel peace after looking blood? Yes, She is the villain here and she deserves to hated.

Little did she know that everyone has their own demons inside. When a person gets lose while fighting with his own demons, he becomes one of them. Do you think those who hurt with knives are monsters? Do you think those who killed people are demons? No, those who turn a blind eye toward wrong, those who shut their mouths like a coward are real monsters. Those who hurt people from their words forced them to lead in a life where they started hating themselves are real demons. Those who ignore sufferings of others, those who look down to others are real villains.

As soon he made way to outside, he was surrounded by the reporters. He was already disappointed by this failure and now he has to face this too. “Sir, This is the first case you lose after the continuous wins. We heard that your client confessed to the crimes. Did you defend her even after knowing that she was criminal just for money?” A reporter asked while he felt to punched on his face. “Why did you show news on your channel even after knowing that it will going to trigger and effect others. Isn’t it for money? ” He asked back after composing himself and the reporter looks on annoyedly.

“Because this is our work to show the truth” He replied. “Then it’s my work to defend my client whether he is criminal or not. Just like for you the truth is that which you see from the camera, the truth is for me whatever my client made me see ” Shivay replied while making way toward his Car. This is possibly the worst day for him. He turned the car in the direction of the prison. This case it still unsettle, he is desperate to know why did she confess the crime, when he told that he will defend her at any cost.

Shivay walked inside after going through the safety measures required for meeting inmates. “You are her attorney” The warden in charge was quick to ask him on which he nods his head. “What is the need of meeting when she already confessed?” Warden asked out of curiosity. “I am here to find the motive behind the murder” He replied while signing the required papers in front. Warden immediately brought her down to the room in which two would be going to speak. Shivay wasn’t disgusted like others on that how insanely and brutally she killed that person? He heard about more horrible and inhumane murders.  He was curious about why did she admit it?

He glanced toward her as soon she stepped inside. She was like the first time he met with her. He tried to find fear or any emotions on her face after knowing that she is on death row according to judgement. Her eyes were blank and there is no ounce of guilt or fear on her face. He pulled a chair for her as she looks on when dragging sound hit her ears. “I hope you aren’t here for confirming about confession” She spoke while moving fingers on the table. “Anika, Why did you do that? I told you that I can twist this case even after all proofs pointing toward you” He asked calmly while leaning back on his chair. “I am the villain and villain supposed to die in climax” She glared furiously while he shook his head.

“This is not what I asked for,” He said while folding his hands. “That’s your job to find out” She challenged looking in his eyes.  “Fine, Why don’t you tell something about yourself?” He realised that she wasn’t going to say anything that’s why he decided to approach differently. “About myself? ” She asked amazed. “Umm…About your childhood, your schooling” He said. He didn’t check her background but looks on some documents. She was well educated, a well-spoken girl as far he heard from his daughter who forced him to look upon her case. She was his neighbour but he rarely sees the sight of her.

She gets shift to his neighbourhood two years ago but she doesn’t pay a visit to anyone’s house. She was always hiding behind the long curtains of her window. He often found his neighbours gossiping about her detaching behaviour. No one visit to her thinking her as a weirdo except his daughter. Children don’t seem to judgemental like others. He was responsible for his daughter after the demise of his wife. As a lawyer, he rarely gets time for her. His daughter was irritated because of this. She refused to go in neighbourhood because everyone ask about her father but Anika was exception.

“My childhood was normal as everyone,” Anika said after a pause. Shivay knows from experience that most often criminals have a traumatic childhood. “I see….So, Where is your family?” He was asking like a normal conversation. “They are dead…” She closed the conversation. “Siblings? ” He asked while she looks on. “I don’t have either” She said as he shook his head. “Are you married?” He asked as she looks on and nods her head negatively. This is the first time he see her eyes, they are deep but hold a different kind of blankness. He can recognise darkness often in criminal’s eyes but this blankness was new. “Why?” He asked.

“Didn’t villains supposed to end up alone?” She asked with a smile while he felt to bang his head somewhere. “I checked that you are well educated…. Do you have friends?” He asked while she sighed. “Are you going write book on my life?” She taunts. “Yes, maybe” He also replied in her way. “I am grown up in a orphanage.” She said. “So, the people who grown up in orphanage don’t have friends?” He asked. “No, They just don’t want to be my friends” She said while he looks on. “Why?…. Don’t give me  answer like before” He said. “I was different” She said while he closed his eyes in frustration.

“Did you remember your parents…How were they?” He asked. “They were loving and caring” She replied as tears started brimming in her eyes. At last, Shivay was glad to find her response toward someone. “I heard that your uncle adopted you…..Did he was not good with you?” He asked while she shouts “Why are you wasting your time here?” “Because I want to know the motive. Why did you kill him?” He also shout with frustration. “I feel ecstasy…I get pleasure every time when I stabbed him. Did you get it now?” She said stamping her hand and move toward the door.

“I don’t want to talk with him now….I’m done.” She said to warden while banging the door. “No, we are not done yet. Even psychos and serial killers murder for ecstasy but they choose a particular person. Why did you choose him?” He asked holding her arm while she jerks his hand. Warden opens the door while the guard took her. “Don’t you listen that I am not done?” He said to warden. “Meeting time already get over” Warden replied before moving from there. Shivay punch the door with frustration and leave from there. “I want the photos of murder scene” He said to someone while driving. “Fine, I will be there for collecting it” He replied and remove the blue tooth.

“Bro, Here are the photos. It was hard to take this from investigation authority” Karan said to him. “You can do this much for your friend…Don’t exaggerate it” Shivay replied checking the photos inside the envelope. “Didn’t you get the copy before the case?” He asked. “Yes, But I want the actual one. I think that I am losing some clue” Shivay replied. “What’s the obsession with this case? Is it because you lose? This case is over now, she already confessed” He said while he looks on. “That’s what I am curious about. I get thousand of cases for defending. They asked me to defend at any cost but she confessed everything” Shivay said while getting lost. “Do one more favour…Try to find about her past, like anything doubtful associated with her?” He added while he sighed. “You increase my work like everytime..” Karan said rolling his eyes while he ignored . “I need to go now….See you later” He said while patting his shoulder and come outside.

Shivay walked inside to his house after inserting the key. He sees time on his watch, it was probably the time of his daughter to come back from her classes. He keep envelope on table and made his way toward kitchen to check. He need to prepare something fast. It was rare when he get time to cook for her. She was more mature for her age and never complain but he often feel bad.  As soon he picked up pan, he heard the ring. “Welcome home, How was your day?” He asked after opening the door. “It was good ,Dad” She replied with a cherished smile after looking him in home.

“Go and freshen up. I will prepare something to eat” He said while she nods her head. “But maid already prepared in morning” She said. “Then, I will serve that” He said and move toward kitchen while she smile. “Dad, What about Anika aunt? She will come …right” She asked while keeping her bag down. “Talk to me after freshening up”He said from kitchen. She look toward the brown envelope on table and open it. She took out the photos. “Are you still there?” Shivay asked while peeping from the kitchen but get shocked to see photos in her hands. “Khushi….I told you to freshen up” He shout and snatched photos from her.

“Why don’t you listen to me? It’s not for a child” He scold as she looks on confusedly. “Dad, Did Anika aunt kill this person?” She asked while he was not getting what to reply. “Do what I said to you. Stop making stupid speculations.” He said while keeping photos with himself. Before he walked back to kitchen, her voice stop him. “I know him” She said while he turned. “What?” He said. “He is bad uncle ” She said while he look toward her. He was dying to know the relation between him and Anika and his daughter already know everything. “Where did you met him?” He asked. “I met him in the house of Anika aunt. He followed me to school next day.” She said while he get shocked. “What? Why didn’t you tell me?” He asked angrily. “Because you were busy” She said while Shivay find himself drowning in guilt. He was not even able to protect her daughter. “I get very scared but Anika aunt scold him hardly” She added as he looks on. He feel like his words get died in his mouth. She move toward her room leaving him behind in his thoughts. Did she kill him for his daughter?

“Dad, I’m hungry. Why didn’t you served yet?” Khushi asked after coming outside and finding him on the same place. He came out of his thoughts and look toward her cluelessly. “Yeah…I am doing” He said while serving rice. “You are going to tell if anything like this happen again no matter how much busy I am,” He said caressing her hairs who nods her head while chewing rice. His phone starts ringing and he moves toward where his coat was hanging. He sees Karan’s name flashing on-screen and receive it. “What happen?” Shivay asked. “I did investigate in the neighbourhood where your client lives with her uncle. I found something really disturbing” He said while he get tensed. “What  did you found out?” He asked.

“There is a lady who start cursing as soon I asked about them. She said that her uncle tried to assault her granddaughter in past. They report it too but he suppressed it with his money. I did cross-check from station, there was a complaint but it get dropped later.” He said while Shivay get silent. “Are you listening me?” He said to him. “I will talk to you later” He cut the call without listening him ahead. So, she didn’t just protect his daughter, she took out her pain too. She killed him because she don’t want Khushi to suffer like her. She become monster for preventing Khushi to become victim like her. He defended a lot of people even after knowing they might be criminal, and he can’t be able to defend the one who really deserve. What type of a lawyer he was? Why didn’t he able to see the pain in her eyes behind that blankness. Why did he forget that every villain has a backstory when she called herself villain?

He looks toward his innocent daughter who was eating. She didn’t even know the motive of other people around her. The fact that he himself is not able to keep her daughter safe is killing him. And the one who was always hiding behind the curtains, she opened his eyes. He was a terrible father. He was busy in blaming himself until something strike in his mind. “I need to go somewhere. Let’s go” He said to her who looks on surprisingly. “Then go after locking from outside like always,” She said while he shook his head. “No, I will never going to leave you alone from onward,” He said with tears while hugging her. “Really?” She asked happily, unknown from the storm going inside his head.

He drove the car toward prison and enter inside. “Are we here to met Anika aunt?” Khushi asked innocently. “No, Just wait here,” He told her to sit in between all the officer. That bench was visible from the meeting room, so he can keep an eye on her. “I want to meet with Anika” He asked to warden as he looks on irritatingly. “You met with her few hours ago. Meeting time is going to over. We can’t allow it” He said to him rudely while he hold from his collar. “Listen, If I am telling you that I want to met her, then it’s urgent. Give me the keys” Shivay shout while all guard come to his rescue.

“How dare you to hold my collar?” Warden asked gritting his teeth. “How dare you to stop her attorney?” He shout back. “Case get over. You are not her lawyer anymore. You are going crazy after losing your first case” He taunts while Shivay looks on furiously. “She don’t deserve to be here….I need to talk with her” He said. “She is psycho who killed someone….She definitely deserve to be in this hell” Warden said. “Don’t utter rubbish in front of me” He said. Before their argument get increase, a guard come down while panting. “Sir, Inmate no. 21 cut her hand” He said as Shivay’s face become pale. “What the hell you were doing idiot? How did she get sharp thing?” Warden shout as he is going to be responsible if something happen to her. Shivay also run toward cell even after guard trying to stop him. He see her lying in blood. “Stop blaming each other and Call the damn ambulance.” He shout on warden who was blaming the guards. He immediately tie handkerchief on her wrist.

“Why the hell you did this? Why didn’t you tell me when I was asking?” He said while patting her cheek as tears flowed from her eyes. “Let me die….” She replied with difficulty. “You can get justice now. You should have believed me.” He said. “It won’t going to help now” She replied. “Please be with Khushi, she missed you a lot. Don’t let her become like me” She added with a smile. “Anika…Anika” He continuously shout while shaking her but no response come from her side. He closed her eyes from his hand and look at the blood on his hand. “I am sure that you only provoked her to do so. I will tell to authorities that you met wit her before the suicide” Warden said but he didn’t even care to reply him. He keeps her head down and moves outside. He looks toward his daughter who was sitting on a bench and tears start flowing from his eyes. She runs toward him. “Dad, Why are you crying? Did you get hurt? ” She tried to hold his hand but get stopped after looking blood. Shivay bends down on his knees. “You are bleeding. Please don’t cry….it won’t hurt. Let’s go to Doctor uncle” She said innocently wiping his tears. He hugged him, she was unknown that nobody can lessen his pain.

Note – Author don’t promote suicide or murders. It’s just a fiction how can a victims turned up when justice get delayed.

DAY OF THE PUJA,

HARIDWAR GANGA GHAT,

All of them were gathered near the river side where the puja was to be conducted, ladies were wearing saris while men were wearing kurta and pyjama, simple yet stylish attires suitable for the puja,

Ranveer (thinking): After the puja, I’ll talk to Priyanka and tell her about my past…. She deserves to know it more than anyone else….

Arjun comes to him,

Arjun: Ranveer yaar…. Come…. We have to start the puja…. All are waiting for you….

Ranveer came out of his thoughts and walks with Arjun, all get seated around the hawan kund,

Keshav: Who will perform the puja…? They should come and sit here…. (He pointed to the seats near the hawan)….
Dadi: Shivaay and Anika will do the puja…. Being the eldest son and daughter-in-law…. It is their right….

Shivika were surprised and looked at each other while others smile,

Shivaay: But Dadi…. I think Bade papa and Badi maa should do the puja…. (Tej and Janhvi smile hearing this)….
Tej: No Shivaay…. I think Maa is right…. Anika and you do the puja….
Anika: Okay but then Arjun and Ahana should also do the puja with us…. They are also eldest son and daughter-in-law…. It is their right also….

All of them smile hearing Anika,

Keshav: This is a good indeed…. So you four get seated….

Shivika and Arhana sit down at their places and the priests begin with the puja.

Omkara and Aniruddh get down from the train with the luggage followed by the others, Om felt something different as his heartbeats increased, he was thinking when Aniruddh put his hand on his shoulder, he looked at Aniruddh,

Aniruddh: Om, where are you lost? Are you fine?
Omkara: Nothing Aniruddh…. I just thought something different in this place….
Gauri: You’ll feel different only naa…. This place and its atmosphere are filled with devotion only….
Ishana: Right Gauri…. I feel like my heart is at peace by itself…. This place has some magic….
Sakshi: You are right Bhabhis…. This place has some magic…. (She smiles)….
Vikrant: Acha…. If you all are done with your magic and devotion…. Let us go to the hotel…. I am tired from this long journey….
Omkara: Right yaar…. Even I am tired….

They all take their luggage and move towards the exit.

All were praying from their heart….Only one wish in everybody’s prayers….God….Bring their family back together as it was three years ago….Bring the lost happiness back in their lives….

Janhvi (thinking): God…. I have always wished for one thing….Happiness for my family….Please bring our children back and with them the happiness of our family….

Shekhar (thinking): God…. All I want is that our family becomes complete again…. Please do some miracle and bring our children back to us….

Rudra (thinking): God…. Whenever I want anything…. I just run to my Shivaay Bhaiya and he gives me whatever I wish for…. So God… Today also I won’t ask you to give me something as I know my Shivaay Bhaiya will give me everything…. So just give my Shivaay Bhaiya strength and keep Anika Bhabhi and him happy always…. They both do everything for our family’s happiness…. So give them all the happiness they deserve….

Vidhi (thinking): God…. From the past three years I have seen how unhappy Papa has been…. Ishu was his heart and heartbeat and he misses her a lot…. Ishu is the happiness of our family…. Without her Papa will never be happy…. Please bring our Ishu back and also Papa’s lost smile….

Sonakshi (thinking): God…. When my Mumma and Papa died in that accident and you made me alone in this world…. That time Shekhar uncle, Sumitra aunty, Arjun Bhai and Aniruddh gave me all the love, care and affection I needed…. I thought I would never ask you for anything more than this family…. But today I am asking you…. God…. Please bring Aniruddh back…. Please bring my best friend back…. He is the happiness of this family…. Please bring him and everyone else back….

Sandhya (thinking): God…. It has been three years since we have seen our children…. I miss my Gauri a lot…. God…. Please bring back our children…. Please make this family complete…. I have always believed in you and your power…. Please prove my faith right and bring the family together…..

Dadi (thinking): God…. I have always wished for only one thing and that is always keeping all my children safe and happy…. Today during this puja…. They all are sitting here and only wishing for one thing…. That you bring back the lost happiness of our family back…. God…. Please keep all my children happy and safe…. I have only one wish now and that is to see my family complete once again…. Please fulfill it…. I have full faith in you….

All were busy doing the puja and concentrating on their prayers…. All just wanted happiness for their family and nothing more….

OTHER SIDE,

HOTEL,

All of them (Rikara, Anish and Vikshi) went to their respective rooms to freshen up. They decided to meet after sometime and decide about the puja.

VIKRANST-SAKSHI’S ROOM,

Sakshi checked her phone and saw a message,

*We all are at the Ghat…. The puja has started…. I hope you all have also reached on time…. Please bring everyone here as soon as possible…. Everyone is here and all are praying for only one thing…. Sakshi…. We have to bring the family together*

Sakshi read the message and quickly typed a reply,

*Don’t worry about us, we have reached here…. We are at the hotel…. I’ll bring everyone to the Ghat as soon as possible…. We’ll bring our family together…. This time we won’t listen to anyone and anything…. The family has suffered enough in the past three years now no more sadness…. Only happiness*

She was thinking about what was going to happen in the next few hours, she had to be ready to face whatever was going to happen, she was thinking,

Sakshi (thinking): I have to take Bhaiyas, Bhabhis and Vikrant to the Ghat soon…. The puja has started and we have to reach before the puja ends….

Vikrant came out of the washroom and saw Sakshi lost somewhere, he called her,

Vikrant: Sakshi…. (She came out of her thoughts and looked at him)…. Where are you lost…. What were you thinking?
Sakshi: Nothing Vikrant…. Just like that…. I’ll get ready, we have to discuss about the puja also naa with the priests here at the Ghat….
Vikrant: Yes, you are right…. You get ready…. We’ll go and meet some priests….

Sakshi nods at him and goes to the washroom.

Vikrant (thinking): Why I am feeling that Sakshi is hiding something from me…. She behaves like this only when she has something going on in her mind…. First the puja, bringing us here, in Haridwar…. I hope so she doesn’t do anything that brings any problem in our already messed up family and life….

After some time, they all gather in the hotel lobby,

Sakshi: So let us go to the Ghat…. We’ll find many priests there…. They can guide us about the puja….
Vikrant (thinking): What is so special at the Ghat that Sakshi is so eager to go there…. I am getting a feeling that she is definitely going to do something there…. God…. Whatever she does I hope it is for the better….
Omkara: Sakshi is right…. Let us go the river side….

They all agree and get into the cabs and proceed towards the Ghat.

After some time, they all reach the Ghat, as soon as Sakshi got down, she looks here and there, her eyes were searching for someone, Vikrant noticed all this, he decided to talk to Sakshi before things get out of hands,

Vikrant: Sakshi…. Come with me…. I need to talk to you….

All were looking at him surprised,

Aniruddh: What has happened Vikrant…. What has happened to you suddenly….
Vikrant: Nothing Aniruddh…. You all go ahead…. I’ll come with Sakshi in some time….

Before anyone could say anything, Vikrant held Sakshi’s hand and took her to the other side, Rikara and Anish looked at him surprised as they had never seen Vikrant like this,

Omkara: What has happened to him…. Why did he behave like that?
Gauri: Don’t know…. Maybe something between the two of them…. We should give them time….
Ishana: Gauri is right…. Let them talk and come…. If still something is there, then we’ll talk…. Now let us go and meet some priests….

They all nod at Ishana and then the four of them walk to the other side.

OTHER SIDE,

Vikrant brought Sakshi a little away from the crowd,

Sakshi: What has happened to you suddenly…. Why did you bring me here and what is so important that you couldn’t wait for some time?
Vikrant: Sakshi…. I have known you from childhood and I know it whenever you hide something from me…. (Sakshi looks at him surprised)…. And now looking at you only I know that you are again hiding something from me…. What is it Sakshi…. Tell me everything now….
Sakshi: Vikrant…. There is nothing like that…. I don’t know why you are feeling like this….
Vikrant: Sakshi…. Please don’t lie…. I very well understand when you lie to me…. If you don’t tell me now, I’ll talk to Om and Aniruddh…. And then you’ll have to answer….

Sakshi is shocked while Vikrant turns to go,

Sakshi: No Vikrant…. Not Bhaiyas…. Please…. (Vikrant looks at her surprised)…. I’ll tell you everything….

Sakshi tells Vikrant something and he gets shocked,

Vikrant: Sakshi…. What were you thinking while planning all this…. And why didn’t you tell me earlier…. Oh God…. When they will know about this…. They’ll feel hurt…. How could you do this?
Sakshi: I know I should have told you earlier but I was afraid what if you said no…. I had to do this at any cost….

Tears flow from her eyes; Vikrant feels bad for scolding her and immediately wipes her tears and hugs her.

Vikrant: Don’t cry Sakshi…. Now I am there with you…. We’ll handle everything….

He smiles at her and she smiles back.

HARIDWAR,

Rikara and Anish were walking along the Ghat and on the other side all were busy doing the puja.

Vikrant and Sakshi were talking about how to make them meet each other,

Vikrant: We have to reach them before they all come in front of each other…. If that happens things will take another turn and maybe not turn out the way we want….
Sakshi: I’ll call Ishu Bhabhi and ask them to wait for us…. This way maybe they’ll not come in front of each other before we reach them….
Vikrant: Good idea…. Call Ishana fast….

Sakshi dialed Ishana’s number, and to their luck Ishana immediately picked the call, they told Ishana to wait for them and Ishana agreed.

OTHER SIDE,

Aniruddh: Ishu…. Who called you…? What has happened?
Ishana: Sakshi called…. She said that we wait for them before discussing with the priest…. I said okay….
Omkara: Okay then…. Till both of them come…. We’ll sit on those steps….

They all sit near the steps waiting for Vikrant and Sakshi.

In few minutes, Vikrant and Sakshi reach there and take a sigh of relief understanding that no one had met each other.

Vikrant: Thank God…. We reached on time….
Sakshi: Yes…. Thank God….

They both walk towards Rikara and Anish.

Aniruddh: You both came…. All okay?
Sakshi: Yes Bhaiya…. All okay…. (She smiled at them and they also smiled back)….
Ishana: So now, let us talk to the priests….

They all walk towards the area where there were many priests. All take blessings from the priests and then Aniruddh tells them about the puja they want to conduct.

Priest: Don’t worry Beta…. There are many priests here who can guide you in doing this puja but in my opinion, if you want the puja to be really special…. Then you should talk to Mahapandit Keshav Ji…. He in the most respected priest here….
Sakshi (thinking): Why do I feel that I have heard this name before also…? Mahapandit Keshav…. But where?
Omkara: If this is so Pandit ji…. We’ll definitely want to meet him…. Where is he?
Priest: Right now he is busy performing a puja to the other side…. (He points in the direction)…. You can go and meet him there…. Ask anyone over there…. They’ll make you meet him….
Gauri: Thank you Pandit ji…. We’ll meet him there….

The priest smiles and leaves from there.

Ishana: So, now let us go over there and meet him….
Aniruddh: Haa let us go….

All start walking towards the direction the priest told them.

PUJA PLACE,

All of them were sitting and doing the puja, Shivika and Arhana were doing the rituals as the priests guided them to do, all were hoping that their wish comes true and their family gets complete.

Keshav: The puja is complete now…. You all can one by one offer the flowers to God and pray that the puja becomes successful….

All get up from their places, first Dadi and elders do the rituals, now one by one the youngsters do what was asked to be done.

It was Rumya’s turn now, Soumya puts the flowers and folds her hands to pray, she sees Rudra not doing the same, and is standing still, she is surprised,

Soumya: Rudra…. What are you thinking…. Put the flowers here and pray….

Rudra doesn’t move as his eyes were fixed at something else only, Soumya is confused seeing him like that and shakes him,

Rudra: O….

All others look at him shocked and surprised,

Soumya: Haa Rudra…. This puja is for that only…. Now do what we have been asked to do….
Rudra: O…. (He points his finger in the direction)….

Soumya follows the direction his finger pointed and she too is shocked and stands still,

Soumya: Bade baal wale Bhaiya….

All others look at them shocked and surprised, they also turn to the direction Rumya were looking in and all stand still, all are silent, not knowing what to say or how to react.

The same in the case with Rikara and Anish, Vikrant and Sakshi knew that this was going to happen, so they just wish that things turn towards the right direction.

Tears collect in everyone’s eyes, seeing their family members after three long years brings back so many memories and emotions.

Rudra is the first one to react, he immediately runs to Omkara, not thinking about anything else, he just goes and hugs Om, his sudden actions bring Omkara out of the shock, and his arms immediately cover Rudra, tears flowing from their eyes.

Rudra: O…. I missed you so much…. (He was sobbing and Om was caressing his back)…. O…. Why did you leave us…? O…. I missed you in all single moments of the past three years…. O…. Please don’t leave us again…. O…. I love you so much…. O…. I missed you a lot….

Seeing the two brothers like this, Arjun and Aniruddh also looked at each other, Arjun immediately went to Aniruddh and hugged him tightly, and Aniruddh reciprocated the hug with the same love, care and affection.

Ranveer, Dev and Yash also hug Omkara, Aniruddh and Vikrant.
Anika, Soumya, Priyanka, Ahana, Sonakshi and Vidhi also walk ahead and hug Ishana, Gauri and Sakshi.

The elders are happy seeing this. The youngsters break their hugs and all are smiling seeing each other. Now Rikara, Anish and Vikshi look at the elders, they all walk towards the elders and one by one take blessings from all. Tej and Janhvi are happy that Om took blessings from them; they feel happy that even now he respects them.

All this while Shivaay was standing at his place, he didn’t move forward nor did show any emotions. He was standing at the back, away from all of them. Anika sees this and goes to him, she keeps her hand on his shoulder, he looks at her,

Anika: What has happened Shivaay…. Om is here…. Your Om is here…. And you are standing here away from him…. Come…. Meet him, hug him…. Let your emotions out….

She holds his hand and turns to go but Shivaay doesn’t move, Anika looks at him surprised, he removed Anika’s hand from his hand,

Shivaay: No Anika…. He is not my Om…. I don’t know this man….

Anika looks at him shocked; others also hear this and turn towards Shivika.

Anika: Shivaay…. What are you saying?
Shivaay: You heard it right Anika…. I don’t know him…. (He points at Omkara)…. He is not my Om….
Rudra: Bhaiya…. What are you saying…. He is our O….
Shivaay: No…. He is not our O…. You all might have forgotten but I remember each and every word he said that day before leaving….

*FLASHBACK TO THREE YEARS AGO*

Shivaay: Om, how can you even think of leaving us…. Who gave you this right to decide anything without consulting us…. Did you forget we have a code – all for one, one for all…?
Omkara: That was for Obros…. Shivaay…. And I am not an Oberoi….

All are shocked hearing this, Shivaay couldn’t say anything further, Janhvi sits down on the sofa and Priyanka sits beside her,

Rudra: O…. How can you even think like this…? You cannot leave us…. I won’t let you go anywhere…. (He goes to Shivaay)…. Bhaiya…. Tell him naa…. Tell O not to leave us…. (Shivaay doesn’t say anything and Rudra hugs him crying)….

*FLASHBACK ENDS*

Shivaay: He clearly said that he is not my brother…. Not an Oberoi…. And that means he is not my family and no one for me…. (All look at him shocked)…. And the entire world knows that Shivaay Singh Oberoi doesn’t care for anyone else other than his family….

He leaves from there before anyone could stop him.

Anika: I need to talk to Shivaay….
Omkara: No Bhabhi…. Don’t say anything to him…. Anyways we should also leave….

Omkara also leaves from there without waiting for anyone’s reply.

All others look at each other, not knowing what to do.

Dadi: I think all should go and rest now…. We’ll talk about this afterwards….
Aniruddh: Yes Dadi…. I think we all need time….
Yash: So let us all meet at the hotel tomorrow…. You all come to the hotel tomorrow morning….
Shekhar: We all will talk then….

They all smile at each other and leave to their respective hotels.

Hello dearies, I get the idea of writing this just now. So, I decided to penned down this.

Anika Trivedi’s life was another name of struggles. She gets tired of these continuous struggles and troubles. If life doesn’t kill you, then struggles will. No matter how many patients you hold, there is a time when everything starts falling in pieces. It took ages to fix it up again. We all do mistakes, we all do mess up in life but there are few who actually can cope up with this and handle it. She was one of those fighters. She spent her whole life searching jobs without a degree for making his brother’s future better. Being an orphan is a curse too.

Lost in her thoughts, she looks from the window. There is raining accompanied by the roar of thunder from time to time. The only sound can be heard from outside were the buzzing of wind and the soothing sound of raindrops. She stares at the sky, tears start flowing from her eyes as raindrops fall down. The chilly air made her shiver but she didn’t move. She wished that the sound of thunder will be this much loud, that she get those thought out of her mind which keeping her awake at this hour of the night.

She turned and look toward his brother who was sleeping peacefully. She wondered will her life be this much struggling if she didn’t take his responsibility. That was a small house of a room with an attached kitchen. She can’t afford the rent of this mostly times. She moves toward the small chair and took out a pen and paper. Drawing something random and unplanned just like her life, she glances the paper. She didn’t know what she was doing wrong and that’s why she had no idea what she can do for making things right. Life is just like this, unpredictable and unexpected. It made you fall down before you even realise your mistake. Sometimes, it doesn’t even give a chance to make things right. Not all are lucky to have a second chance.

She blink her eyes when light entered from a small window. She realised that she slept last night while taking her frustration over the paper. She gets ready to freshen up as she needs to make breakfast for Sahil too. She was not good at cooking, just know to make Aloo poori. She didn’t even get time for herself. How can she has time for this?

Sahil also doesn’t complain if she served burnt food, he acknowledges her sister’s struggles. He was a bright student, he genuinely wants to help her in future.

As soon he gets ready, Anika drops him to his school. She was getting late for her work and think to hire a taxi. Then, she looks toward Sahil and gives him the money to eat something from the canteen as she didn’t prepare anything for lunch. Taking a subway, she reached the hotel where she works as a receptionist. She gets this job after a lot of efforts. She wished her colleague before moving toward her spot.

Her sight caught a glance of him who was asking something on reception. It was really strange, she didn’t think she would meet Shivay on this day, at this place. This can’t be a chance, it’s a destiny who played a huge prank. Our lives are just happened by chance, with unpredictability and unexpectedly. Is something like ‘fate’ or ‘destiny’ really exist? Is their sudden meeting was planned?

Anika’s expression change and she turned back quickly but his eyes already recognised her. It is going to be hell awkward, meeting your ex after seven years. Why it has to happen? Did she wish for this? She broke up with him as she has to take responsibility for her brother. She wants to find some stable job but now what is he going to think after this encounter? It’s ironic that she was still struggling just like before.

He doesn’t really recognise people well and it’s rare when someone catches his attention. Not to mention that it had been seven years, but it took only a few seconds to realise her presence even from behind. She didn’t change a bit, those simple clothes which he admires, those black luscious curls which she often keeps caged with hair tie and those flats which she fondly called ‘Chameli‘. She has her own ritual to do ‘naamkarann‘ of everything. According to her, everyone has their identity. They were in a relationship of almost two years, ate lunch and drink coffee across each other and thought that’s how their life will remain forever. Even when they did break up, they share a coffee date that day too. She moved out of his life as the next day come. That was it, they didn’t call each other from that day.

The escape plan which strikes in her mind was to turn her head and pretend not to see him. She even decided to run from there but before she proceeds, she heard his voice. “Anika” He softly called as she turned and sighed. She didn’t know what expression she is supposed to give while bumping to her ex after seven years. She wondered and think Is he also feeling awkward like her? Shivay hesitated for a long moment before asking how she and her brother was doing. He didn’t have any idea how he gathered up the courage for calling her name. Anika replied that she was well.  Then she asked Is he was doing good on which he nods his head.

In past, they decided to part their ways after being in a relationship. It was a mutual decision, there was nothing more to say. She needs to take her brother responsibility and he was desperate to achieve his goal. They say things happen on a particular time and it is somehow true though. Sometimes things don’t work no matter how hard you try because time was not right.

Shivay thinks that things would get more awkward if he asks about her life like whether she had married or dating. “Want to go for coffee on our favourite cafe,” He asked while she looks on. He thinks that they should go for coffee, to satisfy the fate which brought them together at that moment. “I have my duty” She replied. She is not going to suffer from that heartache again, not any cost. Before her plan proceeds, one of her friend who share the same job as a receptionist failed it. “You can go if you want. There are not many guests, I will manage” She replied while Anika cursed her in mind.

Walking step to step with him bring new kind of emotions inside her head. But something which she didn’t notice the compatibility between their joining steps.  They move out of the hotel together. They both look at each other and then diverted their eyes. Shivay took a lead and start walking forward as she followed him just one step behind. Walking with her for some moment felt like walking for ages and that undescribed feeling can’t help him more. As they stop in front of the cafe, it was same like before even the interior too. They both walked in that place where they created many memories. Shivay ordered a latte for her and americano for himself. “Jeez! His kali coffee” Anika muttered under her breath and rolled her eyes. Shivay chuckled as he can tell what’s going in her mind? He actually misses her weird vocabulary. She was amazed that he still remember her taste when he order a latte.

Trying not to look at each other, they both turned their face toward glass window admiring the view. The sun was bright today even though there was rain last night, maybe it is more of noon now.  It seems little too much bright for regretting over their breakup. “So, Are you seeing someone?” He asked, still looking toward the window. “Not yet. What about you?” She replied while looking away. “None, I was busy in establishing company” He replied turning toward her. “You still like shiny days with brighter sun,” She asked on which he smiles. “Habits doesn’t change easily.” He replied while she nods her head.

Their conversation with each was not that much awkward than they thought.  It was pretty enjoyable. She must’ve felt a little embarrassed to run from the scene, but they both pretended to be normal and conversation keeps going. Though he was well aware that she dropped out from university for taking care of her brother, he actually wants to ask about her job but she seems hesitated and that’s why he didn’t touch that topic.

As the waiter served two cups, she immediately took out money for the bill. He wondered what’s wrong with her? “We are friends,” Shivay said after he moves money toward the waiter. The waiter looks at them confusedly. “Let’s split it then,” She said and give it to the waiter after taking the half of amount from his hand. Shivay gawked at her and wondered what just happened? She maybe didn’t change her appearance, but she was definitely changed. She is more cautious, mature and independent now, more formal too. She was such a chatterbox before. She loves to do non stop ramble on any topic. He felt that she lose herself in her daily life. She was right, they were mature now and can’t behave like college students. We couldn’t go looking for careers, nor we could hang out like before. She treated him like nothing had happened between us. She didn’t even bring the topic of break up.

They had really been in love, long enough for it to feel like a real marriage, and the time they had been apart after that had been so long. So, he also couldn’t bring up the topic of the past either. They talk about their college days and the whole day wasn’t enough for it. More or less, they start enjoying the company of each other. He was a good listener and she can talk. Though, She wasn’t a chatterbox like before. She suggested to go to the street food stall and he immediately agrees upon it. They look toward the sun which starts setting while walking. They both have marvelled at the shade of red and orange colours which spread across the sky. It looks little hazy but spectacular.

The tall metal street lamps cast an orange glow, illuminating the streets below as they are walking. Shivay insists her to drop her home on which she agrees. It’s been a long time when she enjoys someone’s company. The wind was chilly but he was feeling her warmth beside him. They lost themselves in the tiredness of continuous struggles, the worrying of things which are not meant to be theirs. They admired each other’s life struggles and priorities. They respect each other’s decision from the start. People have been looking for the best words to describe love, but it can’t be described in words. It can be felt only by the heart. Love is a complex set of emotions filled with affection, protectiveness, care and respect for each other. Anika wishes him goodbye as they reached her house. “Anika,” Shivay said when she turned to go inside. “Yes?” She asked. “Want to meet tomorrow after your job?” He said while she tried to read those unknown emotions on his face. She looks in his eyes. “I think it’s a second chance for us,” He said while she smiles in response which reached to her eyes after many years.

EPISODE 50

HARIDWAR,

HOTEL (Where Oberois and others are residing),

HOTEL LOBBY,

All of them returned to the hotel,

Pinky: OMM…. Never thought God would fulfill our wish like this…. Thank God that we met them today….
Sumitra: Whatever happened and however it happened…. I am happy that our children are back….
Vikram: Sahi kaha aapne Bhabhi…. Now that they are here, we won’t let them leave us again….

Anika was in her thoughts Ahana noticed this,

Ahana: What are you thinking Anika?
Anika: Nothing…. I’ll talk to Shivaay…. (Anika left towards their room)….
Dadi: Let her go…. Only she can handle Billu at this time….

All agreed with Dadi and left to their respective rooms.

SHIVAAY-ANIKA’S ROOM,

Shivaay entered the room, he had so many emotions suppressed within himself from the time he had seen Om, his brother, his Om who completed the Obros…. Now Shivaay couldn’t control himself any more, he sat down on his knees, tears flowing from his eyes, he remembered all the time he had spent with Om…. their childhood fun, their teenage days, their time when he was in London for studies and OmRu were in India, how Om advised him whenever needed, their Obro moments in the kitchen, cooking together, singing, teasing each other, how Om made him understand his love for Anika, how Om introduced Gauri to him, how Om met with an accident and was in a coma, how Om recovered, Om’s wedding, and then how Om left him alone three years ago…. Each moment still fresh in his mind…. He was crying….

Anika entered the room, she saw Shivaay sitting on the floor, she immediately understood what was happening with him, she walked towards him and sat beside him, she gently placed her hand on his shoulder, Shivaay felt her touch, he knew it could be none other than his Anika, he just hugged her tightly, and cried more, she could feel his pain, she just tightened their hug and caressed his hair, she knew what he was going through…. Whatever he said at the Ghat was just his anger and hurt…. And now here in this room was his real pain…. She comforted him…. After sometime they broke the hug…. Anika wiped his tears…. She then made him sit on the bed, brought water for him and made him drink it…. Now Shivaay also relaxed a little….

Anika: Shivaay….
Shivaay: No Anika…. I know what you will say; I just don’t want to hear it….
Anika: Shivaay…. For how long will you run away like this…. It has been three years now…. Let it go…. Don’t behave as if you don’t care about Om…. I know that you also want him to come back and you know it too….
Shivaay: Yes Anika…. I want him to come back…. I want it because I have promised Badi Maa that I’ll bring her Om back…. But that doesn’t mean I have forgiven him…. How could he leave us…. How could he leave Rudra and me…. He said that he isn’t an Oberoi…. I understand that but how can he say he is not my brother…. Who gave him the right to take decisions on his own….
Anika: Shivaay…. I understand that you are hurt by Om’s behavior but please don’t do this…. We tried so much to find them…. By God’s grace we met them…. But now if you behave like this…. They’ll again leave us…. Do you want that?
Shivaay: No, I wouldn’t let that happen…. This time they’ll not go anywhere…. Shivaay Singh Oberoi wouldn’t let them go….

Anika smiled seeing the determination in Shivaay’s eyes; she knew whenever Shivaay referred to himself as Shivaay Singh Oberoi he would not fail at all, she knew he would do what was needed, she felt relieved.

HOTEL (Where Om and others are staying),

OMKARA-GAURI’S ROOM,

Om’s condition was no different than Shivaay, he entered the room and sat down on the bed, tears were flowing from his eyes, he was feeling guilty for hurting Shivaay so much, he knew that whatever Shivaay said to him at the Ghat was his anger but deep inside was Shivaay’s pain…. He knew that Shivaay never expressed himself much in front of others and that’s why he said all those things and left…. But Om knew that even Shivaay would be crying after reaching the hotel and being alone…. He remembered all his time he had spent with Shivaay and Rudra…. Tears were not stopping from Omkara’s eyes…. He had hurt his Shivaay a lot and this guilt was hurting him….

Gauri entered the room and saw Om crying…. She felt hurt seeing Om is this state, she went and sat beside him…. Om looked at her and hugged her tightly…. Tears flowing with more speed now….

Omkara: Gauri…. I have hurt Shivaay…. I am very bad…. I hurt Shivaay…. Shivaay was always there to protect me, guide me, support me and I…. What did I do…. I just hurt him and gave him pain…. He may show that he is angry with me but I know he is deeply hurt because of me….
Gauri: Om…. Please don’t say like this…. I know you…. You didn’t do that to hurt anyone…. I know you love Shivaay Bhaiya a lot and he too loves you the same…. He cannot be angry with you for a longer time…. I know if you’ll talk to him…. He’ll understand….
Omkara: I don’t know Gauri…. How will I face him….
Gauri: Om…. You don’t have to worry about how you will face him…. I know when you both will meet again…. Things will happen on their own…. You both know what to do and how to do….

VIKRANT-SAKSHI’S ROOM,

Sakshi and Vikrant were sitting their tensed thinking what was going to happen and what they were going to do,

Sakshi: I don’t know what will happen ahead…. We made them meet each other…. But now what….
Vikrant: Don’t worry Sakshi…. I am sure now that they have met each other…. They won’t let each other go away….

They were talking when Sakshi’s phone rang; it was Sonakshi’s call, she showed it to Vikrant and received the call,

Sakshi: Hello Sona….
Sonakshi: Hi Sakshi…. How are you yaar…. I never thought that our plan would turn out like this….
Sakshi: Yes yaar…. I was also thinking the same…. God knows what will happen ahead….
Sonakshi: Whatever happens we cannot fail now…. We did so much to bring them here together….
Sakshi: Yes you are right…. We cannot fail now….
Sonakshi: Did you tell anyone that we planned all this?
Sakshi: Yes, I told Vikrant everything…. I am sorry yaar…. I had to tell him….
Sonakshi: I understand Sakshi…. Even I told Dev sometime before…. He was so mad at me but I handled him….
Sakshi: But now that everyone is here and all are together…. I know everything will happen for the better only….
Sonakshi: Even I am wishing the same….
Sakshi: Anyways we are meeting tomorrow…. We all will decide something together….
Sonakshi: You are right…. Together we all will definitely succeed….
Sakshi: Okay then…. Don’t take stress and take rest…. Tomorrow is a long day….
Sonakshi: Yeah tomorrow is definitely a long day…. You too take rest…. Good night….
Sakshi: Yes…. Good night….

Sakshi disconnected the call, but she was still worried.

Vikrant: Don’t worry yaar Sakshi…. Everything will be fine….

He kissed her forehead and she rested her head on his chest, he covered her with his arms, making her feel secure and worry free.

All of them were looking forward to the next day.

RANVEER-PRIYANKA’S ROOM,

Ranveer was in his thoughts,

Ranveer (thinking): I thought to talk to Priyanka about my worries…. But here things became more complicated…. Now I cannot stress everyone more…. First this problem has to be sorted…. Then I will tell about mine…. Till then I have to be with my family and be their support….

He closed his eyes to relax himself.

HOTEL,

As decided everybody was meeting in the hotel hall, Shivaay and Omkara looked at each other but didn’t say anything, well everyone knew that the brothers needed their own time and space, so they decided to let them talk to each other alone after sometime, all of them were quiet, seeing everybody silent Dadi spoke,

Dadi: Will someone speak or you all are going to just keep quiet and look at one another?
Shivaay: What is there to talk Dadi…. It is all clear…. Now that we all are together, we all will always be together…. And my decision is final…. If anyone has any problem…. (He looked at Om)…. Better say it now…. Otherwise they’ll decide something on their own and leave without saying anything….

All of them understood why Shivaay said all this,

Pinky: OMM Shivaay…. Why are you talking like this…? Is this the way you’ll talk with family….
Omkara: Leave it Choti Maa…. No need to say anything to anyone….
Dadi: Enough now both of you…. Billu…. Om…. You both go from here…. (All looked at Dadi shocked especially Shivaay and Om)…. You both will just continue like this only…. So it is better you both leave from here….
Shivaay: But Dadi…. (He couldn’t complete as Dadi interrupted him)….
Dadi: I haven’t finished talking Billu…. (Shivaay keeps quiet)…. You both go and solve your matter…. Till then no one will talk to you both….

All others smiled hearing Dadi while ShivKara were shocked but didn’t move,

Dadi: Are you both going or should we all leave….
Shivaay: No Dadi, you all stay here…. We will only go…. (He didn’t wait for Om and left)….
Dadi (looking at Om): Om…. Will we give you special invitation…?
Omkara: Dadi…. I am going only…. (He also leaves)….

After ShivKara left, others start laughing,

Anika: Dadi…. You are the best…. SSO ki tadi aise gayyab kardi aapne…. (Anika hugs Dadi and Dadi pats her cheek)….
Dadi: If he is SSO…. I am also his Dadi…. I know how to handle him….
Yash: But Dadi…. Will they actually sort it out…? I am having doubts….
Rudra: Don’t worry Yash Bhaiya…. I know my brothers…. They’ll sort it out for sure….
Shekhar: They both will sort it out…. But will Om agree to come back with us….

Now all eyes turned to Anish, Gauri and Vikshi, none of them had an answer, but Sakshi spoke,

Sakshi: Don’t worry Papa…. I’ll make Om Bhaiya agree…. (All looked at her surprised and Sakshi realized that she had called Shekhar as Papa)…. I mean uncle…. Sorry…. Wo…. (She didn’t know what to say)….

Sumitra walked to Sakshi and cupped her face, Sakshi looked at her,

Sumitra: Sorry kyun…. A daughter will call her Papa as Papa only naa…. (Sumitra smiles at her and Sakshi hugs her)….
Shekhar: Not fair…. Papa Pehle mujhe kaha aur hug Maa ko pehle….

Sakshi smiles at him and then hugs him, all are happy seeing this but the happiest was Aniruddh, wasn’t this he wanted his sister to truly have.

Tej: Not fair Sakshi beta…. All your love is for them only or you have something for us also….
Janhvi: I agree with Tej….
Sakshi: Don’t worry Mom and Dad…. I have enough love for you both also….

She hugs Tej and Janhvi and they are happy.

Gauri: I wish Om could see this…. This is what Sakshi actually needed not anything else….
Ranveer: Don’t worry Gauri…. Now that we all are together…. We will convince him….
Sonakshi: Haa Gauri Bhabhi…. Hum hai naa…. We planned so much for this day and how will we fail now….

All of them looked confused at her while Dev, Sakshi and Vikrant hit their head and Sonakshi realizes what she said,

Vikram: We all planned matlab…. What do you mean Sona beta….
Sonakshi: Uncle…. I meant that God…. God planned that we all meet like this…. I just said it the other way….

Vikram and others nod while she takes a sigh of relief, Dev, Sakshi and Vikrant also feel relieved, Aniruddh however isn’t convinced,

Aniruddh: Sona…. You are my best friend from years…. You can lie to others but not me…. Tell me everything clearly and also who all are there in this “WE”….
Sonakshi: Nothing like that yaar Aniruddh…. (She looks here and there)….
Aniruddh: Acha…. Don’t try to fool me Sona…. Tell me now….
Dev: Haa Aniruddh, you are right…. (All look at him surprised)…. We only planned that we all meet here like this….
Sakshi: And the “WE” includes Sona and me….

All are shocked hearing this,

Soumya: Sona di and you…. How and when…. I mean how you both planned this Sakshi Di….
Sonakshi: Actually, I met Sakshi two months ago…. That’s when we decided all this….
Ishana: You met Sakshi…. But when and how…. No one knew where we were then how….

Sakshi: Bhabhi…. I’ll tell you all clearly…. Sona and I met through a common friend…. Actually one of my friends wrote about our restaurant in her magazine…. Sonakshi read about it and reading the owner’s name as Vikrant…. She had some suspicions that it could be us…. So she talked to her and found out about the restaurant….

Sonakshi: I wasn’t sure if it was really the Vikrant we were looking for so I didn’t tell anyone about this and decided to find it out myself…. I told Dev that I am going for a friend’s wedding and came to Shillong…. I went to the restaurant…. Sakshi saw me…. We both were surprised…. Shivaay and Omkara walked towards the lawn after Dadi had asked them to leave, both of them wanted to talk to each other, but Shivaay had his tadi and Omkara had his guilt, none of them knew how to start a conversation, they were the brothers who didn’t need words to understand each other’s emotions and now they were behaving as two strangers who were searching for words to talk to each other.

They both sat down on one of the benches kept there, both were looking in opposite directions, Om knew Shivaay wouldn’t talk first so he thought to take the initiative,

Omkara: Shivaay…. (Shivaay looked up from his phone but didn’t look at Om)…. I am sorry Shivaay…. I know after whatever I did you have complete rights to be angry and upset with me…. But at least talk to me…. You scold me, say all those words that justify your anger…. But don’t be silent…. Your silence is increasing my guilt more…. (Tears in Om’s eyes were now flowing but Shivaay didn’t let his tears flow)…. Please Shivaay…. Talk to me…. Please….

All start deciding about the puja but hearing Keshav’s name Ranveer is lost in thoughts,

Ranveer (thinking): I’ll have to talk to Priyanka as soon as possible…. Before anything happens or she comes to know from somewhere else…. I have to tell her….
