KALYANI SADAN,

ANISH’S ROOM,

Amaya and Siya slowly entered the room…. They smiled at each other…. All ready to tease their favorite chachu…. They both walked towards the bed but were surprised…. The bed was empty…. This had never happened in so many years…. They both looked at each other confused….

Siya: Where is chachu…? He never gets up before we both come….
Amaya: Even I am surprised…. It is only our right to wake him up….

Ahana entered the room to check upon Siya and Amaya….

Ahana: If you both are done teasing and playing with your chachu…. Come and have breakfast….
Amaya: Wish we could do that Mumma….
Ahana: What do you mean…? (She looked around the room)…. And where is your chachu?
Siya: Don’t know…. When we came here, the room was already empty….
Ahana: Where did he go and that too in the morning itself…. You both go and have breakfast, I’ll ask your papas to find him….

The three of them left the room….

DINING TABLE,

Siya and Amaya came down and took their seats at the dining table…. Everyone could notice that something was wrong that the two of them were quiet….

Pinky: Siya…. Amu…. What has happened, you both didn’t bring you chachu for breakfast….
Amaya: Chachu hote toh late naa….
Rudra: What do you mean?
Siya: Means chachu was not there in his room…. We didn’t wake him up today….
Shivaay: Aniruddh isn’t there but how is it possible, where will he go at this time?

Ahana also comes there….

Janhvi: Ahana, what did we hear Aniruddh isn’t in his room?
Ahana: Yes Badi Maa, even I was surprised because he never goes like this without informing….

They all walk towards the living room…. They saw Aniruddh smiling…. This wasn’t the first time that he was smiling but today his smile had a different vibe and his eyes had a sparkle he had lost in the past years…. Everyone could see it in his eyes that today he was the happiest he had been…. They were all smiling seeing him smile….

Siya and Amaya together: Ishu Chachi….

All eyes turned towards the door…. Ishana was standing there smiling at her family…. Siya and Amaya ran towards her and she took them in a hug…. Tears filled everyone’s eyes….

Siya: We missed you so much Chachi….
Ishana: Even I missed you all a lot….

She kissed their cheeks one by one and then they kissed her….

Priyanka: All the love is for Chachi only or something is left for us also….

Priyanka entered with Ranveer, Siddharth and Mallika…. Siya and Amaya hugged them….

Ishana took blessings from all elders and hugged everyone….

Rudra: Bhabhi, you were coming…. Why didn’t you tell us…?
Gauri: What are you saying Rudra, she didn’t tell us but she did inform someone….

All eyes turned to Aniruddh and Ishana blushed….

Ishana: Gauri….
Arjun: Why wouldn’t she…. After all they are seeing each other after three years…. Were so eager to meet each other….
Aniruddh: Bhai you also….
Sumitra: Acha bas, enough of teasing them…. Ishana, you go and freshen up…. We’ll prepare something for you all…. Even Prinku and others have come after so many days….
Soumya: Prinku yaar, you have toh forgotten us after going to your sasural….
Anika: Why would she miss us…? Now she has her own family….
Siddharth: Rightly said Anika, from the day Veer and Prinku have come our house feels so different….
Mallika: Yes, it feels complete…. They both have added life to our family….
Ranveer: Well the credit for this goes to Ishana and Gauri only…. They both had taken it upon themselves that I change my mind…. And that’s why our family is also together….
Priyanka: Of course, my Bhabhis are the best….

Saying so she hugged IshRi…. Others smiled seeing there bond….

ANISH’S ROOM,

Ishana entered the room…. It had been three years that she had been away from her home…. But nothing had changed here, the room was still the same…. Just like the way she had arranged it…. She was lost in her thoughts when she felt two hands around her waist…. Aniruddh hugged her from the back and rested his chin on her shoulders…. How complete they felt being with each other…. How much they had missed this closeness in the last three years….

The four months, when Ishana was in a coma lying in that hospital bed, were the most difficult ones for him…. But when she finally opened her eyes…. The family felt life coming back to them and Aniruddh started living again…. Ishana received extra care from everyone as she was recovering…. She couldn’t express how she felt seeing the love and care her family showered on her….

Then they had gone to Shillong to wrap up their businesses there…. IshRi dance academy was selected to represent India in an international dance tour where they would visit different countries…. Ishana was excited but the thought that she would be away from Aniruddh pulled her back…. But Aniruddh knew dance was her life and passion…. He had to do a lot of hard work to finally convince her to go…. Three years…. They couldn’t talk regularly because of the various time differences in the various countries…. They missed each other so much…. Aniruddh returned to Mumbai feeling that being with the family would help him…. He did manage when Siya and Amaya were there always giving company to their chachu…. The time spent with his princesses did make him feel better and he missed Ishana a little less….

Now finally those three years were over…. And he had his Ishana in his arms, not for this moment but forever…. Now he won’t let her go away from him, not even for a moment…. She would be his and only his….

Aniruddh: I missed you so much…. Why didn’t you come sooner?
Ishana: I came as soon as I could…. Even I missed you so much…. You had the entire family with you…. I was all alone there….
Aniruddh: I know how hard it must have been for you…. First the coma and then this dance tour…. But you know what…. (He made her face him)…. I am so proud of you…. You made our entire country proud….
Ishana: It felt so different when you represent your country to the world…. I wish you all would have been there….
Aniruddh: Even we wanted that but what could we do…. The organizers had their own terms and conditions….
Ishana: But now that I am back, I have decided I am not going anywhere away from you all….
Aniruddh: Even if you want naa then also I won’t let you go…. Now you’ll always be my side no matter what….
Ishana: Awww…. (She pulled his cheeks)…. How much I missed my husband….
Aniruddh: Ishana…. I have told you naa not the cheeks yaar….

Ishana started laughing and ran away…. Aniruddh chased her…. They were running in the room when Ishana’s leg stuck in the carpet and she held Aniruddh for support…. But Aniruddh also lost balance and they fell on the bed…. They looked at each other and burst into laughter…. This is what they had missed so much…. Having each other by their side completed their incomplete lives….

AFTER SOMETIME,

Everyone was seated in the living room…. There was laughter…. Teasing each other…. Pulling each other’s leg…. Making teams…. Brothers defending their lovely sisters…. Bhabhis defending their devars…. Mothers praising their sons…. Fathers in their daughters’ teams…. All in all there was love, care and affection….

A family complete after going through so many ups and downs…. There were times they were away from each other but nothing could break the bonds they shared…. After all this is what a family is all about…. You can be away from the house but you reside in each other’s hearts….

Dadi smiled seeing her family and prayed to God that this remains the same forever…. Only one wish that her family stays together through all ups and downs of life….

She remembered how everyone had lost life after Ishana was in a coma but they became each other’s support…. How everyone celebrated when Ishana returned from the hospital….

How Ishana and Gauri worked hard to make Ranveer return to his family…. How the Ranas were happy to get their lost son and a lovely daughter-in-law….

How everyone used to tease Shivaay and Siddharth in the initial days reminding them of their rivalry…. How Shivaay and Sid became best of friends….

Omkara was alone in his staff room.All other teachers were busy with their classes.He was doing a simple pencil sketch.
“Can you make a painting for me also?”
Hearing that voice Omkara looked at that person.She is none other than Ishana.
Omkara:Why do you need my painting?
Ishana:As you know I am an English teacher.I am teaching Macbeth for high school students.The students want to see Macbeth and Lady Macbeth.Can you please make their painting?”
Omkara:But their paintings are available online.You just have to take the print out.
Ishana:”But those print outs are not beautiful like your paintings Omkaraji…that’s why.Please don’t say no”.

Omkara:Ok.I will do that.
Noor came back after her class and saw both of them together.
Ishana said:Thank you Omkarajiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii

Noor was fuming with irritation.
Noor:The way she calls ‘Omkarajiiiii’..it’s so sugary and irritating.Instead of teaching in a school she should have been in a college to teach them Romanticism.Despite of being a teacher shamelessly she is trying to get closer to Omkaraji.How dare she?I feel like throwing my pen on her.

Ishana turned back and saw Noor with the pen.

Noor was trying hard to control her anger while Omkara was laughing.

Ishana felt goosebumps all over body hearing his compliment for her.She sat on the opposite side facing him.
Ishana blushed:Really Omkaraji?Do you like my humour sense?
Om:Yes.I like listening to your jokes.You are a true entertainer.
Ishana:O..thank you Omkaraji.

Noor could not bear it.
She thought:How can Omkaraji laugh at her stupid jokes?I don’t feel like laughing.Instead I will feel like making her write all Maths formulas 100 times.I wish I could do that.She will go mad for sure and after that she will not dare to joke and make Omkaraj laugh.
The other teachers also came.Another teacher was also burning in jealousy seeing Omkara and Ishana laughing and talking.

Who is that teacher?

Ishana:Ok bye Omkaraji.I have class now.
Om:Ok.
When Ishana left Noor was relieved.
Noor sat near Omkara:How are you enjoying Ishanaji’s jokes?I find them so boring.

She smiled.
She was praying.Omkara was lost in her.

Tej stared at Noor:Do you know he is?He is not an ordinary school teacher.He is the Oberoi heir.
But instead of looking after the Oberoi empire he is sitting here and wasting time and you are encouraging him to destroy himself.

Anurag:She looks familiar as you have seen her photographs before.
Prerna:Where did I see her photographs?I can’t remember.By the way how do you know that I have seen her photographs before?

Anika ki khidkitodd Adayein aur SSO ka bekabu gussa. Yes, Ishqbaaaz was a show we loved very much. The bonding between the three Oberoi brothers was something which was a treat to watch on screen. Ishqbaaaz which first aired on 27th June 2016 on Star Plus marks 4 years today. The show which consisted of a stellar cast including the likes of Nakuul Mehta, Surbhi Chandna, Kunal Jaisingh, Shrenu Parikh, Leenesh Mattoo and Mansi Srivastava was a huge hit amongst the viewers and even today we wait for these people to come together on screen to create the same magic. Even though the show went off air in 2019, it is still fresh in the audience’s mind.

Omkara:Ok Noorji.I will skip food for time being.But I can’t sacrifice oxygen.Because oxygen I will die and how will i be able to live with you?

Noor:That’s true.

They both giggled.

Omkara:Why do I feel that you have purposefully come near me with too much of sugar?

Noor smiled:You are right Omkaraji.I did become romantic purposefully so that your attention will get diverted and you will stop eating.

Omkara:Why Noor?Why are you against me eating?

Noor:Because if you eat unnecessary snacks and fill your mouth how will you eat for Anurag-Prerna’s anniversary party?

Omkara:You don’t worry about that as my stomach always has space for party food.

Hi, everyone!! I am back with the update. I am really sorry for not updating for a long time. I have kept the drafts at my office and didn’t bring it home thinking that the lockdown will end by the end of March. But a lot has happened until my company has shut down and I lost my job.  I was depressed about that and it took time for me to overcome it. That is the reason I started a new story and kept other stories on hold. I manage to retrieve a few drafts from my office when I went to clear my stuff from there. I am sorry again. From now I will try to update weekly once. And thank you very much for those who have commented, voted and messaged me personally for this FF.

CHAPTER 37

SidLana’s House

SidLana arranged two rooms for AvGau and ask them to refresh themselves. Swetlana goes to the kitchen and boils the milk. She brings two glass of milk and goes towards Siddharth.

Swet: Suno, give this milk to Gautham. I will give to Avni.

Siddharth: Ok. Did you do as Ishu said??

Swet: (nods nervously) Ji. But I feel scared.

Sid: Even I am feeling scared. But we can’t refuse her. So we have to hide our fear and give this to them. (Swetlana chuckles seeing Siddharth’s expression.) Why are you laughing??

Swet: First time I am seeing you being scared. That’s why.

Sid: Let’s go and give them this milk. (Swetlana goes to Avni’s room while Siddharth goes to Gautham’s room.)

Avni’s Room

Avni is sitting on the bed and caressing Mishti while her thoughts are on NeilJa. She didn’t even realise Swetlana’s presence. Swetlana touches her shoulder.

Swet: Avni!! (Avni looks at her.) Are you thinking about NeilJa??

Avni: Yes, bhabhi. I am worried about them especially Pooja. At least, Neil has gained conscious but Pooja. She is pregnant some more. Being an orphan, I found a mother and sister through Pooja and Ishu only. I can’t bear if anything happens to them. Ishu has suffered a lot and now, Pooja. Why God always troubling us??

Swet: Because God loves all of you very much. He always likes to test the people whom he loves a lot. Just to see if they can face the challenges and how they will face. But he will never let you down. The same happened in Ishu’s matter and will happen with Pooja. (Avni hugs Swetlana.)

Avni: Thanks, bhabhi. I am feeling light now.

Swet: Good. Now, drink this milk and sleep for a while.

Avni: No, bhabhi. I want to go to the hospital. Ishu will be waiting for us there.

Swet: Ok. But at least drink this milk. (Avni drinks the milk.) You wait here. I will come in a while. (She leaves from the room.)

Gautham’s Room

Gautham is getting ready. Siddharth enters inside.

Siddharth: Are you going somewhere??

Gau: Yes. I have to go to the hospital. Ishu must be waiting.

Sid: Ok. Have this milk first. (Hands him the glass.)

Gau: Milk in the afternoon??

Sid: You refused to have your lunch. At least this milk can fill your stomach. (Gautham drinks the milk without questioning more. Siddharth takes the glass after Gautham finishing it.) I will come in a while. (He leaves from the room and goes to the kitchen where Swetlana is waiting for him.)

Swet: You come ready?? Did he drink??

Sid: He doubted at first but he drank after that. How about Avni??

Swet: She had it.

Sid: Let’s wait for a few minutes. After that, we will go and see them. (Swetlana agrees and they stay there for a while. Then, they go to Avni’s room and see her sleeping beside Mishti. They smile feeling relief. Then, they go to Gautham’s room and they see him sleeping on the couch in his sitting position. Siddharth makes him sleep properly. They leave from the room.)

Swet: Our plan worked. Thanks to Ishu.

Sid: But we will be in trouble if they know it was our work to make them sleep.

Swet: If they know that we had mixed sleeping pills in their milk only it will be trouble for us. How if they didn’t know??

Sid: So, you don’t want to tell them??

Swet: Why should we?? We will tell them that they are so tired and they fell asleep.

Sid: Gautham won’t believe it. He will recall everything happened and he will find out that we had done something.

Swet: We will see it later. Now, don’t worry. I will go and bring Mishti. (She leaves to Avni’s room.)

City Hospital

Neil’s Ward

RuMya and PriVeer are shocked listening to Neil.

Ranveer: What are you saying, Neil?? That was not an accident??

Neil: I’m telling the truth, Ranveer. It was a murder attempt.

Rudra: Who and why??

Neil: I don’t know who was that but he wants to take revenge on us.

Prinku: Us??

Neil: Yes. Us. That means I, Gautham, Avni, Pooja and……… Ishu. (They are shocked again.)

*FLASHBACK*

AvNeil are doing some shopping.

Avni: Neil, this saree looks pretty.

Neil: Do you like it??

Avni: Yes. This colour will suit perfectly for Ishu.

Neil: Oh!!?? So you are buying for Ishu. Not you??

Avni: Nope. If I want anything, I will ask you. Ishu never has asked anything for herself till now. She accepted whatever we bought for her. Luckily, both of you understand what she likes and dislikes.

Neil: But Ishu doesn’t wear saree. She doesn’t even know how to tie it.

Avni: What?? Seriously?? But she wore saree for our wedding??

Neil: I and Gautham arranged a girl to adorn her. 

Avni: So she never wore saree before that??

Neil: She did once during her college event. I and Gautham learnt how to tie the saree and we did a demo in front of her.  (Avni laughs.)

Avni: So cute. So use the same method to teach her again. (She laughs again. Neil slaps her head.)

Neil: You are teasing me?? You and Pooja teach her to wear saree. Take this saree for her and this one for you. (He shows a salwar which he is holding in his hand.) Your favourite emerald green.

Avni: Woww!! It’s beautiful. Thanks, Neil. (She hugs him.)

Neil: Have you done with the shopping?? Let’s go and settle the bill.

Avni: You go and wait outside. I will go and pay.

Neil: It’s ok. Let’s go together. (His mobile rings that time.) Private number?? Avni, you go and pay the bill. I will answer the call. (He hands over his debit card to Avni and leaves from there.)

Outside The Shop

Neil answers the call.

POC: Hello, Inspector Neil!! Looks like you are enjoying your shopping very much??

Neil: (confused) Who is this??

POC: Oh!! You have forgotten me?? Of course, you don’t remember me. Because I am just one of the person who was affected by you.

Neil: (confused) What?? Who are you??

POC: The one who is going to change your fate. Not only yours but all of you. I will destroy your world!!

Neil: What are you blabbering?? If you have enough guts, come and fight with me directly!! Don’t hide like a coward.

POC: Inspector Neil, it’s your duty to find out who am I. You can’t get me just like that without any effort. And don’t underestimate me. I will do whatever I said. Do you want to see a sample?? With whom should I start?? How about your dearest friend, Ishana??

Neil: (angrily) Hey!! Don’t you dare to do anything to her!! I won’t spare you!!

POC: No no!! It won’t be fair. Let her in peace for some time. How about your friend, Gautham?? And his wife, Pooja?? Save them if you can!!!

Neil: No!! Don’t do anything to them!!

POC: Don’t waste your time, Neil!! All of you need to suffer just like we did!! (He ends the call.  Neil is worried thinking about GauPoo. Avni comes there after paying the bill.)

Avni: Neil, what’s wrong?? You are looking tensed.

Neil: Avni, we have to go to GauPoo. (He holds her hand and runs from there taking her with him. Avni is confused with the happening but she doesn’t ask anything and runs with him. They stop seeing Gautham at the opposite.) Gautham is there. But where is Pooja??

Avni: She is there. (She said pointing towards the ice cream parlour.) I will go and get her. (Neil nods and she rushes from there while he runs towards Gautham. He is about to call Gautham’s name when he sees a car coming in high speed towards Gautham. He rushes towards Gautham and pushes him away. Gautham fell at the roadside. However, the car hit Neil before he could escape.)

*FLASHBACK ENDS*

Neil finished narrating to them. They are shocked and confused listening to him.

Rudra: Who is that person and why he is targeting all of you??

Neil: He must be one of the criminals whom I and Gautham caught before this. (Ranveer nods agreeing with him.)

Soumya: Do you have any doubt on anyone??

Neil: I can’t say, Soumya. Because we have handled a lot of criminal cases. So I can’t simply point my finger on anyone.

Prinku: But bhaiya, we don’t have any options now. We need to list down the criminal list which you and Gautham bhaiya handled before.

Rudra: It will be very complicated, Prinku.

Soumya: No, Rudra. We have to try Prinku’s idea. If that person is having this many vengeances on them, that case must be a very serious one. Such as smuggling, drug dealing, human trafficking, organ trafficking, rape, murder, something like that.

Neil: Still a lot, Soumya.

Ranveer: But we don’t have any other choice, Neil. I will ask the HQ to send the details of the criminal cases which handled by you and Gautham till now.

Prinku: Bhaiya, both of you worked together in all the cases??

Neil: Only these two years we are working together. Before this, we worked separately in different department.

Ranveer: That means we need to check for these two years. Ok. You don’t worry, Neil. We will find out who is the person. Don’t pressure too much on this.

Neil: Thanks, yaar. (Ranveer smiles.) And sorry too. We are troubling you a lot. Ishu’s matter and now this. I don’t know how to thank all of you.

RuMya and PriVeer go towards IshAni who are sitting at the corridor.

Ranveer: Ishana, are you sure that you want to stay here tonight??

Ishu: Yes. I told you ready.

Ranveer: I will stay here with you as well. Rudra, you go back with SouPri.

Ishu: It’s ok, Ranveer. We can manage.

Ranveer: At least let me wait till Gautham come.

Ishu: He won’t come. (All look at her confusingly.) Actually, I asked bhaiya and bhabhi to mix sleeping pills in AvGau drinks. They must be sleeping now.

Ranveer: (dials a number) Hello, Siddharth. Are Avni and Gautham there?? (Siddharth says something.) Ok. I will call you later. (He ends the call and looks at Ishana.) You are right. They are sleeping.

Rudra: How did you tell them?? You are not having your mobile with you. (Annika shows her mobile.) Oh!! Ok. Bhabhi, you can remember the numbers. Woww!!

Soumya: Not everyone like you, Rudra.

Rudra: Don’t tease me, Sumo!!

Annika: Guys!! This is a hospital. Mind your behaviour.

Ranveer: We are leaving now. If anything means just give me a call. Annika, Ishana is not having her mobile.

Annika: I will take care and I won’t let her go alone anywhere. (Ranveer nods and they leave from there.)

At Night

IshAni are sitting on the floor by leaning against the wall outside Neil’s ward.

Ishu: How long have you been married??

Annika: Almost four years.

Ishu: Love or arrange marriage??

Annika: Love marriage. (Blushes slightly.)

Ishu: I guessed it.

Annika: How?? Is that too obvious??

Ishu: I didn’t mean like that. An arrogant man like your husband is impossible to do arrange marriage. He and his brother Omkara Singh Oberoi are just the same. They need a girl who can break their arrogance and ego. I can’t believe that Rudra is their brother. He is so sensible and matured guy.

Annika: Ishana, you are right about my husband. He is such a tadibaaz. In fact, both of us always fight since our first meeting. He doesn’t like someone opposing him. But I always opposed him to irritate him. But he has a good heart. He pretends like he is a stone-hearted person but he will meltdown if it comes about his family. He loves his family a lot and will go to any extreme for their happiness.

Ishu: He is like Avni. In fact, Neil took a lot of time to win Avni’s heart. But she has completely changed after falling in love with him. (Annika smiles.)

Annika: Rudra the one you said as sensible and matured was a spoilt brat a few years ago. Do you know he was a playboy during his college days?? He thought that he is a lady killer and any girls will fall for him.

Ishu: Really?? But I didn’t see him like that before this.

Annika: The reason is Soumya. She is the one who didn’t fall for his charm and dare to against him. She made him realise that the girls who were coming behind him were for his money, car and his surname. He changed after that only.

Ishu: No wonder he is very close with Soumya.

Annika: He becomes matured and sensible after you came to Oberoi Mansion. He could understand between the right and wrong. He never went against his brothers since he was a kid. First time I saw him went against his brothers in your matter only, Ishana. (Ishana smiles.)

Ishu: But still he is different from his arrogant brothers.

Annika: Ishana, I agree that Shivaay was arrogant but Omkara is completely opposite of Shivaay. He was not like this before. He was a soft-hearted and sensible person. He will think from every angle before coming to a conclusion. The one who is behaving cruelly with you now never has raised his voice to anyone. Even though someone betrayed him, he will forgive the person. Whenever Shivaay scolded me, Omkara is the one who will defend me. He is completely changed after Gauri’s death. He is not the same Omkara I have seen before. He has turned into a beast.

Ishu: I am the one who has changed him into a beast.

Annika: I didn’t say like that, Ishana. Taking revenge and changing our behaviour after our loved one’s death cannot be a solution for everything. If I thought like that, I could never succeed in my life. I and Gauri must never complete our studies.

Ishu: I’m sorry. I didn’t know about your parents.

Annika: It’s ok. It’s been some years. (Ishana looks at her in guilt.) Ishana, you didn’t tell me about your family. You only said about your friends.

Ishu: My friends are my family!!

Annika: (confused) Matlab??

Ishu: Who raised you up since you were a kid??

Annika: My parents.

Ishu: But I was raised up by my friends.

Annika: So your parents…..??

Ishu: I am an illegitimate child for my parents. My mother was my father’s mistress. (She narrates her past towards Annika. Annika is having tears listening to her past. She recalls the day where Omkara told the media that Ishana is his mistress and how she begged him to not to tell like that.)

Annika: I’m sorry, Ishana. Now, I can understand how you have felt when Omkara said like that about you. (She cries. Ishana calms her.)

Ishu: Please don’t cry. You have nothing to do with it. (She wipes Annika’s tears which is flowing from her eyes.)

Annika: Your friendship is incomparable, Ishana. I’m bowing my head towards your friendship. Not everyone can get this type of friends. People used to tell if God snatched something from us, he will give us something more precious. God snatched your proper birth but he has given you wonderful friends.

Ishu: But I snatched your sister from you.

Annika: And he has given you as my sister. (Ishana looks at her in surprise.) Why?? Did I say anything wrong?? Won’t you accept me as your sister??

Ishu: Even though I have caused….

Annika: Shhh. Past is past. Don’t talk about that again. (Ishana gives a small smile. Annika hugs her. They chat for some time and fall asleep.)

OBEROI MANSION

Ranveer’s Room

RuMya and PriVeer are discussing whatever Neil told them.

Ranveer: I have called one of my friend who is working at HQ. He said he will send the details tomorrow morning.

Rudra: Already the accident which Ishana bhabhi did having a mystery. Now, Neil bhaiya and Pooja di’s accident also has a mystery.

Soumya: Gauri’s accident was an accident but whatever happened to Neil bhaiya and Pooja di was not an accident. It’s a murder attempt. There is a difference, Rudra.

Prinku: Soumya is right. We need to find out who are those people causing these to bhabhi and her friends. (The room door being knocked. Priyanka goes and opens the door. She sees Omkara there.)

Om: Ishana and the baby are not in the room. Are they here??

Prinku: They are not here. (About to close the door.)

Om: Do you know where she went??

Prinku: What do you want to do by knowing her whereabouts?? Are you going to kidnap her?? (Omkara is hurt hearing her words.)

Ranveer: Priyanka!! (Priyanka turns towards him. He just shakes his head telling her to not to say anything.) Omkara, Ishana went to meet her friend and she won’t be coming tonight. You can sleep peacefully tonight without her. (His last words are sharp enough to pierce Omkara’s heart. He leaves from there.)

Soumya: Om bhaiya has changed a lot.

Prinku: No use, Soumya. The damage is already done and it can’t be mend. (Soumya agrees. Ranveer’s mobile rings which he answers.)

Ranveer: Hello. Ok. I will be there in a while. (He ends the call and looks at them.) I need to go out for a while. (He leaves from there.)

Omkara’s Room

Omkara is about to lie on the floor when Shivaay barges into his room.

Om: Shivaay??

Shivaay: This is too much, Om. Annika is doing too much!! How dare she said like that to me??

Om: What happened, Shivaay?? What bhabhi said??

Shivaay: She said that she is not coming home tonight and she is going to stay with that girl at the hospital.

Om: Which girl??

Shivaay: That girl who has made your life miserable. The one who snatched our RuPri from us.

Om: She is having a name, Shivaay. Ishana.

Shivaay: Gauri’s murderer!!

Om: Ishana is at the hospital?? What happened to her??

Shivaay: Nothing happened to her. But her friend is in the hospital. So she is staying there. Annika also staying there to accompany her. Why Annika should stay there??

Om: Bhabhi said that she wants to accompany Ishana. What is wrong with that?? She doesn’t want to let Ishana alone.

Shivaay: No. I won’t let her stay with that girl. Already she has snatched my RuPri from us. I don’t want her to snatch my Annika also. I want to go and bring Annika.

Om: I am also coming with you. (They leave from there.)

CITY HOSPITAL

Ishana wakes up from her sleep feeling thirsty. She realised that she has slept on Annika’s lap and her hand is being held by Annika. She gets up from her lap and slowly takes her hand from Annika’s grip. She makes Annika sleep properly and she goes towards the water dispenser. She takes a cup and fills it with water. She is about to drink when she feels like someone passes at her behind. She turns and sees no one there. She drinks the water and walks towards Annika. She is about to sit when someone covers her mouth with a cloth and drags her from there. She struggles to escape from the person but the person is too strong to be pushed. She tries to make a sound but her sound is too slow which barely can be heard by anyone. She steps on the person’s foot making her stumble. She takes it as a chance and pushes the person away. The person falls down. She runs from there to seek for help but her bad luck she couldn’t find anyone there. She runs towards a nurse who is sleeping and wakes her.

Ishu: Sister… sister… Wake up. (The nurse opens her eyes lazily.) Sister, someone is trying to harm me. Please call the security guards. (The nurse looks here and there and sees no one there.)

Nurse: Mam, no one is there.

Ishu: No, sister. He is here. He covered my mouth with a cloth and….

Nurse: Mam, please don’t disturb me. I haven’t slept since yesterday.  I just want to take my nap. (She continues to sleep. Ishana leaves to call the security guards herself. She walks towards the entrance when the person again captures her by covering her mouth. The person is about to take her out from the hospital when they heard someone entering inside. The person sighs in irritated and drags Ishana from there.)

Annika wakes up when she feels her hand is free. She is shocked to see Ishana is not there.

Annika: Ishana!! Where did she go?? (She gets up and searches for Ishana. She is worried when she can’t find Ishana.) Ishana!! Where are you?? (She goes to Neil’s ward and sees Neil sleeping there. She comes out from the ward.) Maybe she went to the washroom. (She goes and searches at the washroom but she is not there. She walks again to the place where both of them were sleeping. She bumps with ShivKara.) Shivaay??

Shivaay: Annika?? (He sees her eyes are filled with tears making him worry.) What happened, Annika??

Annika: Shivaay, Ishana was sleeping with me but now she is missing.

Shivaay: Maybe she went to washroom??

Annika: I have checked but she is not there. (Shivaay is about to say something but Omkara touches his shoulder and points towards somewhere. ShivIka looks at the place and see a cup lying on the floor where the water is spilt.)

Om: I think something is wrong. Let’s go and find Ishana. (They leave to search for Ishana. Annika goes towards the nurse whom Ishana spoke just now. She wakes her up.)

Nurse: (sleepily) How many times I want to tell you?? No one is there. If you are feeling very scared, just call the police. (ShivIka and Omkara look at each other confusingly.)

Shivaay: Is this the way you are doing your duty?? (The nurse startles hearing Shivaay’s voice and gets up from her place.)

Nurse: Sir?? Sorry, sir.

Annika: Sister, did you see any girl coming here before??

Nurse: Yes, mam. One girl came and said someone is trying to harm her. But when I saw, no one is there.

Om: Where did she go??

Nurse: Sorry, sir. I didn’t notice.

Om: Shivaay, bhabhi, I think it will be better if we search separately. Both of you go together. (ShivIka nod and they leave from there.)

Mahi’s House

Mahi opens the door and sees Ranveer.

Ranveer: Mahi, why did you call me here??

Mahi: Sir, my housemate and I were simply watching the videos on my laptop. I found footage and it might be useful for you.

Ranveer: What footage?? (Mahi shows the footage to him making him shocked.)

Mahi: Sir, this is…. (Ranveer nods his head.)

Ranveer: Mahi, can you send this footage to me??

Mahi: Sure, sir. (She transfers the footage to his mobile.)

Ranveer: Thanks. (He leaves from there.)

CITY HOSPITAL

Ishana is being dragged by the person. The person stops and opens a door. He pushes her inside the dark room and locks the door. He leaves from there.

Ishu: (shouts) Hey!! Open the door!! (She taps the door loudly.) What room is this?? Why am I feeling cold?? (She hugs herself and walks inside there searching for the power source. She finds the switch and turns on all the lights. The room becomes bright. She becomes shocked seeing something and screams.) Aaaaah!!!!

Annika is crying searching for Ishana. Shivaay hugs her shoulder and consoles her.

Shivaay: We will find her,  Annika. Please don’t cry.

Annika: Shivaay, I have lost my sister once. I don’t want to lose her also. (She cries again hugging him. They break the hug and continue their search. Annika sees somewhere.) Shivaay, let’s go and search on that side.

Shivaay: (looks at the signboard) There is a mortuary.

Annika: What?? (She too looks at the signboard.) Shivaay, let’s go and check there. (They walk towards the mortuary and sees the door is locked.)

Shivaay: I think no one is here. Let’s go.

Annika: (cries) Ishana!!! (She punches the door. Ishana who is sitting in fear at the corner of the room heard the sound. She gets up from her place and runs to the door.)

Ishu: (bangs the door) Anybody there?? Please open the door. (ShivIka already leave.)

Annika: Ishana!!! Where are you!!?? (Ishana hears her voice.)

Ishu: (trembling) Annika. (She wants to shout but she feels suffocated due to the coldness. She composed her energy and forces herself to shout.) Annika di!! (She bangs the door loudly. ShivIka heard the sound.)

Annika: It’s Ishana’s voice!!

Shivaay: From the mortuary!! (They look at each other in shock and run towards the mortuary. Ishana starts to cry when she hears no response from outside.)

Annika: (taps the door) Ishana?? Are you inside??

Ishu: Yes, di. I’m here.

Annika: Don’t worry. I am here. We will bring you out. (She looks at Shivaay.) How to open this door?? It is locked!!

Shivaay: A guard supposed to be here. I don’t know where he has gone. Wait, I will get something to break the lock. (He goes and returns with a rod. He hits the lock a few times and it breaks. They open the door only to find Ishana lying weakly on the floor and shivering badly. They rush towards her. Annika lifts her face and pats her cheek.)

Annika: Ishana…. Ishana…. You are safe. (Ishana shivers badly.) Her face is so cold, Shivaay.

Shivaay: We need to get her out of here first or her condition will be worst. (He lifts Ishana in his arms and they leave from the mortuary.) Annika, call Om and tell him that we have found Ishana. (Annika agrees and does as he said.)

Shivaay places Ishana on the bed inside the ward. He sees she is still shivering. He opens his coat and gives to Annika.

Shivaay: Cover her with this. (Annika covers Ishana with the coat. They hear her mumbling something.)

Ishu: Neil…. Gautham…. Neil…. Gautham….

Shivaay: Neil Gautham?? Why I have a feeling that I have heard these names before??

Annika: You are feeling the same??

Shivaay: Yes. Why?? Did you feel the same??

Annika: Yes, Shivaay. But I don’t know when and where I heard this. (Omkara comes that time and shocked to see Ishana’s state. He goes towards her and sits beside her on the bed.)

Om: Ishana!! What happened to her??

Shivaay: She was locked in the mortuary. I already called the doctor. He will be here in a while. (The doctor came after a while and asked them to wait outside.)

Outside the ward

Ishana is being treated by the doctor while ShivIka and Omkara are waiting outside the ward. Omkara and Annika are worrying about Ishana. Shivaay calms Annika and makes her sit on the bench. He sees Omkara is pacing at the corridor.

Shivaay: Om, why are you pacing like this?? Sit first.

Om: No, Shivaay. I can’t stay calm till Ishana becomes fine. I can’t stand if anything happens to her.

Shivaay: Why are you worrying a lot about her??

Om: Because I LOVE HER!! (ShivIka are shocked hearing his confession.)

she took to her social media and announce that she tested positive for few days ago and is currently hospitalised. She mentioned that she is undergoing treatment and will keep her fans updated. She also thanked the corona warriors who are treating the patients during these scary times

Shrenu returned to Mumbai from the USA. Given the prevailing situation due to Covid-19, she has followed the necessary 14-day self-quarantine at her Mumbai home (it ended on Saturday, March 28.) Then the actress drove to Vadodra to her hometown.

Author’s note: Hi everyone, I am back with yet another story. I had decided to not post it soon but couldn’t keep up the excitement within me for any longer so here it is. I hope all my friends here will read the story and share their views. The story is based on my three favorite shows – ISHQBAAZ, KUMKUM BHAGYA AND YEH RISHTE HAIN PYAAR KE. It is an off track story with some similarity to the shows. This story will be updated only once a week.

CHAPTER 1: Where it all began

It was an important day…. Not only for the Oberois and Kapoors but also for her…. The wedding of Shivaay Singh Oberoi and Tia Kapoor was the biggest project her company had received…. She could not afford to make mistakes…. The other functions had happened with no errors and she wished that the wedding too should get completed in the same manner…. No mistakes…. She was very particular about her work and expected the same from her employees…. She would not spare any mistake whatever the magnitude of the mistake may be…. This was the reason her employees tried their best to not give her chances to point out mistakes and rarely met her personally…. Everything was thus managed by her assistant…. However this wedding was different and most important…. This wedding could make her company more recognizable…. Only she knew how much she had struggled to get this project…. She had personally taken care of everything and given her best to impress the Oberois and Kapoors…. She managed to get this project because of her creativity, confidence and charming personality…. However she may have been as a boss but as a person she was appreciated by all even her employees…. She was kind, caring and helpful…. No one could object that…. She would always help her employees both in their professional and personnel lives…. “Shubhyog” was not only Gauri’s company but her dream and she had worked hard day and night to make this dream come true….

She was walking through the corridors of the hotel when her eyes fell on the lawn where the workers were working…. They were decorating the lawn for the wedding which was the next day…. But her eyes clearly showed the displeasure she had seeing the decorations…. She walked towards the lawn…. She reached there and saw her assistant and a new employee talking something to one of the worker….

Gauri: What is all this Trisha, I had specifically asked you to put white flowers then why are there so many yellow ones?

The three of them turned to Gauri…. Trisha and the new employee prayed to God that Gauri does not make this their last day of work….

Trisha: Ma’am….

Gauri: No excuses Trisha just get it changed soon. The wedding is tomorrow and we have a lot to complete.

Gauri turned to go…. Trisha and the girl beside her exchanged surprised looks…. Gauri not scolding them nor firing them…. This was not less than a miracle…. They smiled and thanked God…. Gauri turned back and looked at them…. They immediately made their smiles vanish and looked at Gauri….

Gauri: Trisha, you handle the work here and you….

Girl: Soumya….

Gauri: Sorry it just slipped my mind. Soumya, you come with me, we have to see if Tia ma’am’s attire for the wedding is ready. I hope she doesn’t make any last minute changes.

Both Trisha and Soumya nodded…. Gauri walked ahead and Soumya quietly followed her…. They did not talk through their walk…. They reached a room and Gauri knocked the door…. After a wait of five minutes the door opened and Tia welcomed them…. Gauri walked in and Soumya followed….

Tia: Thank God Gauri, you came. I have a major problem and only you can fix it.

Gauri: What has happened ma’am, you tell me, I’ll get it fixed.

Tia picked her wedding attire and showed it to them…. Gauri and Soumya looked at her not understanding what Tia meant…. They then looked at each other and could find the same confusion on each other’s face….

Soumya: Ma’am, we did not understand. What is the problem?

Tia: Oh, I don’t like this colour; it does not suit my skin tone. Get this changed.

Gauri: Ma’am, the wedding is tomorrow, how we will get the entire attire changed at this moment.

Tia: That is not my concern; your work is to make sure everything is done perfectly, so I am sure you will manage this too.

Tia did not wait for any of them to say anything and walked out of the room…. Soumya was quiet not knowing what to say…. Gauri was highly irritated…. She had asked Tia plenty times if she was fine with the wedding attire and Tia had always said that she loved it…. And now when everything was almost done and the wedding was the next day…. Tia suddenly did not like the colour…. Gauri threw the dress on the bed in frustration….

Soumya looked at her; she was not able to understand how to calm down Gauri…. Tia had been a head ache throughout the functions…. Sometimes she did not like the decorations, sometimes the lighting and sometimes the food…. She would make last minute changes…. Throughout all this Gauri had maintained her cool but this…. This was too much to handle….

Soumya: Ma’am, what will we do now?

Gauri: I don’t know, I just want to end this. This Tia, what does she think of herself, suggesting these last minute changes…? I just wish that she never gets married and that this wedding gets cancelled…. God knows what that Shivaay Singh Oberoi saw in her that he is getting married to her….

Gauri however controlled her irritation and looked at Soumya….

Soumya: Ma’am, should I call the designer or will we talk to Tia ma’am?

Gauri: There is no use talking to her, she will not change her decision. You go and call the designer and ask her to get all the latest designs, we have very less time, so ask her to come as soon as possible.

Soumya nodded and Gauri walked out of the room…. Soumya did what Gauri had asked her to do and asked the designer to come to the hotel…. Even Soumya was irritated by Tia’s unpredictable behavior…. First she would like something and then next moment she would reject the same thing…. But no one could oppose her after all she was Shivaay Singh Oberoi’s would be wife and everyone was well aware of his anger if someone said anything against his family…. Soumya brushing away her thoughts walked out of the place…. She had a lot of work to do and she could not afford to give Gauri any other chance to get angry….

Soumya reached the lawn where Trisha was working…. Trisha asked her what has happened because she had seen how Gauri angrily walked away…. Soumya explained her everything….

Trisha: Oh God this Tia is too much yaar…. Gauri ma’am is working so hard to make this the best wedding…. And Tia is doing everything possible to ruin it….

Soumya: Exactly yaar, I hope nothing more happens…. If the wedding did not happen properly Gauri ma’am will definitely not spare any of us….

Both the girls prayed that everything happens smoothly and that no one does any mistake that will enrage Gauri more…. They also prayed that their jobs stay secured…. The girls then got busy with their works and took personal care that nothing goes wrong….

The works for the wedding were going on according to the plan now…. Finally after deciding for three hours Tia had chosen her ideal wedding attire and gave it for alterations according to her body…. Gauri gave out a sigh of relief…. Now everyone was busy with their works….

Tia was walking to her room…. She had to get herself ready for the family dinner…. The entire Oberoi family would be waiting for her…. She had to make herself look the best…. She had done so much hard work to become the Oberoi bride…. Making her way to the family and then becoming a part of their family was not an easy task…. Even though she was Shivaay’s childhood friend, the fact did not help her in winning Shivaay…. She or for the fact both the families knew that Shivaay had no interest in this marriage…. He was doing it only for his family’s reputation and also because his mother had blackmailed him emotionally…. Shivaay was not one of those who could be driven away by emotions but when it came to his family, he could never disagree…. Tia and her mom had taken advantage of this love and made Tia’s way into the Oberoi family…. Oberois had everything a girl could ask for…. And marrying the eldest grandson and the heir of the family had its own set of privileges…. Tia could not afford to lose any of this…. Tomorrow she would become Mrs. Shivaay Singh Oberoi and then would rule the Oberoi Empire…. She smiled at her fate that she had got all this….
She walked into her room…. Took out her dress for the dinner…. She then went in to take a quick shower…. She came out and changed into the elegant royal blue gown…. Took her favorite pair of diamond earrings and adorned a beautiful diamond necklace around her neck…. She did some make up and looked at the mirror to check her for one last time before leaving…. Her hair tied in a beautiful bun with few curls left…. The expensive watch her sister had gifted her on her left wrist…. She was ready looking like the perfect to be bride ready to meet her in-laws….

“You look pretty darling”

The voice sent shivers through her entire body…. She had recognized the voice and sweat beads formed on her forehead…. She slowly turned around and looked at the person…. She did not get any chance to do anything…. The knife was already in her body and blood was oozing out…. The killer twisted the knife and she felt immense pain…. Tears flowed from her eyes…. She wanted to shout but her voice betrayed her…. She could feel the blood stream flowing out of her body onto her gown…. She touched her gown and her hand had her blood…. She looked at the person in front of her…. The person was smiling…. The person took out the knife and she fell down on the floor…. She could see the person smirking as she closed her eyes forever….

That night:

Gauri was sleeping and the baby was sleeping next to her. Gauri had her hand around the baby and the little baby was smiling in her sleep. Om entered to see two beautiful angels sleeping. He went closer to them and caressed Gauri’s face and saw the baby smiling.

Om: you must be having beautiful dreams right? That’s why you are smiling. Maybe you have seen a fairy? Baby, I am sorry for yelling at Gauri. You know that lady who had you in her arms for ages. I am sorry. I know you are probably angry at me like she is. I don’t yell usually, very rarely I do and unfortunately today was one of those days. All I just want to say is sorry.

He kisses her forehead and then kisses Gauri’s forehead. Once he did that, he grabbed a pillow and blanket quietly from the cupboard and slept on the recliner. He would sleep on the bed but he didn’t want to wake the girls up.

The next day:

That night:

Slowly and reluctantly, Om uncovered his face. He blinked, closed his eyes, and blinked again. Streaks of sunlight penetrated the window and blinded him. He sat up, dragged his feet off the bed, and rubbed his knuckles onto his eyes. His vision took a few seconds to adjust, and when it did…nor Gauri or the baby was on the bed.

Om: Gauri left this room? No impossible! Ever since that day…she stayed in this room only and baby? Where is the baby? Hey bhagwan…what is happening?

He stood up and quickly ran from the room. He knocked at Shivika’s door first. The door was opened by two sleep-deprived people – Shivay and Anika. Obviously they would be deprived of sleep since Anya was a ball of energy.

Anika sleepily: today what happened that you were knocking so loud?

Om: bhabhi, Gauri nor the baby is in the room.

Suddenly tiredness escaped Shivika’s faces.

Shivika: kya?!

Om: haan. Help me look for them.

Just then they heard Rudy scream and Pinky saying loudly: OH MY MATA!

Shivay: let’s see what happened to that idiot and my mum then we will find Gauri and the baby.

Om and Anika nodded. they went down to see Rumya, Pinky. Shakti, Dadi and Jhanvi surprised. They were all staring at the table and when the three looked at the table…they were also surprised. Breakfast was already laid on the table and there was not one….but two baby chairs around the table.

“Good morning” a melodious voice chirped like a hummingbird.

All turned to see Gauri dressed up in a beautiful sea blue sleeve less kurta in net and georgette with thread work pattern all over, paired with matching leggings in georgette. To complete the look, she carried a net dupatta with a thread border. Also she was carrying the baby in her arms. The baby was smiling dressed up in a canary yellow dress.

Rudy: Bhabhi….is that you? our Gauri Bhabhi?

Gauri: haan I am your Gauri Bhabhi.

Everyone else: kya?!

Gauri: arre yaar guys, I am 10000000% your Gauri Bhabhi.

Shivay: fine, you are 100000000% Gauri thankfully. Also where did you get another baby chair from?

Gauri: storeroom. I cleaned it and everything so don’t worry. Anyway sit down everyone. I will serve you breakfast.

Anika: Gauri, let me and Somu help you serve breakfast.

Gauri smiled, saying: arre bhoojal, today relax. I will do everything, don’t worry.

Anika and Somu nodded…a little scared because they had no idea if Gauri was in front of them.

Everyone sat down and Gauri started to serve food.

Om in mind: can a baby really change a person that quickly? Now I don’t even know whether I am married to this woman or not.

Gauri served everyone breakfast but Om. Om looked at her shocked.

Om: oh hello! Why did you forget me?

Gauri turned to him, giving him dangerous eyes…as dangerous as the foamy race of ocean surges. Om bit his bottom lip and said: I’ll serve myself.

Gauri turned his back on him and said to Anika: bhoojal, do you know where the formula milk is?

Anika: formula milk is in the fridge.

Gauri nodded and went to the kitchen. Once she was out of earshot, Somu spoke: okay who is she? What happened to Gauri?

Om: that’s what I want to know. I can’t even recognise my own wife.

Rudy: this can’t be Gauri Bhabhi, I am sure some alien came and took her place.

Anika: or maybe it’s her doppelganger!

Shivay: idiots, I’m surrounded by idiots.

Everyone looked at Shivay.

Shivay: in case all of you have lost your brains, Gauri is acting as her normal cheerful self before 6 months ago.

Everyone: oh!

Om didn’t say that though, Shivay was right, before they got the news about their baby, Gauri was very cheerful…she always had a smile on her face and she would rarely get upset unless she and Om had small arguments. Om couldn’t stand his wife being angry. He got up from the table and went into the kitchen where Gauri was making the formula milk. He hugged her from behind but before he could say anything, she spoke: get your arms off my waist, I am still angry with you.

Om took his arms off her and went in front of her.

Om: Gauri, meri jaan, please forgive me. I am really sorry for yelling at you. I can’t stand it when you’re angry at me jaan. I know last night I was a jerk and I’m sorry for letting my anger take control of me. You mean more to me than anything in the world. Please forgive me, meri chiraya.

He held his ears and Gauri said: fine you’re forgiven as long as you change the baby’s diaper.

Om: okay jaanu, I will.

Gauri smiled then finished making the formula milk. She went back into the dining hall with Om. She picked up the baby and started feeding the baby the milk. As breakfast was happening, Pinky said: I’m surprised she forgots her baby so fast.

Shivay signalled Pinky to shh. Hurt was shown on Gauri’s face.

Pinky: what shh? I’m just saying the truth.

Om: choti maa, please don’t say all this and that too early in the morning.

Pinky: fines.

Soon breakfast was done and everyone went to do what they wanted to do. Gauri picked up the baby and Anika came up to Gauri.

Anika: I will get Anya ready and then the two girls can play with one another.

Gauri nodded.

Meanwhile:

In a mansion decorated with expensive items, one expensive item fell to the ground shattering to a million pieces. A strong male voice was heard: I CAN’T BELIEVE YOU!

His face was revealed (Manish from Yrkkh)

Anger was written all over his face. One hand held the phone and the other hand was curled into a fist, knuckles turning white.

From the phone, a female voice was heard: Manish sir, I am so sorry but I couldn’t take it any longer.

Manish: so Sneha when you become a mother, are you just gonna abandon your child?

Sneha: I’m not going to have children Manish sir because I am not ready. I couldn’t handle that child! I didn’t even give her a name.

Manish: WHERE DID YOU KEEP HER SNEHA?

Sneha: sir, I left her in a massive white mansion where your daughter and son-in-law lives.

Manish: WHAT THE HELL? OUT OF ALL THE PLACES YOU KEPT HER THERE? YOU COULD HAVE KEPT HER AT THE ORPHANAGE!

Sneha: you could have done that six months ago instead of giving her to me.

Manish: OH GIVE ME A BREAK! YOU USELESS BLOODY BITCH! I PAID YOU EXTRA TO KEEP HER AND YOU COULDN’T EVEN BE HAPPY WITH EXTRA PAY. YOU COULDN’T EVEN KEEP A LITTLE GIRL!

Sneha: whatever! By the way is my salary staying the same?

Manish: NO! IT IS GOING TO GO BACK TO HOW IT WAS A YEAR BACK! UNDERSTAND?

Sneha: y..yes.

Manish: GOOD NOW GET HER BACK! MAKE UP SOME FAKE COVER STORY OR WHATEVER I DON’T CARE!

Sneha: sir, I have an important meeting in a couple of days. After that meeting, I will go and collect her.

Manish: fine!

He cut the phone and started cursing. Why did his group head had to mess up? It was all going well until now, if his daughter got to know….no she wouldn’t, she wouldn’t know.

That night:

It had been a great day. After breakfast, Anika got Anya ready and the baby and Anya played. Om got to spend some time with the baby too. He took her to his studio and she started crawling around looking at the art supplies with curiosity. She managed to make a can of paint spill. Om laughed then cleaned up the mess, it was cute though to see her looking at the paint and then trying to paint the floor with the can of paint she managed to make fall.

Everyone even Pinky who always had the habit of rubbing salt into Gauri’s wounds, noticed that the emptiness which was in Gauri’s eyes was replaced by some sort of sparkle, the upside down smile on her face had turned the right way round. She seemed happier in just the matter of one day. It must have been the baby girl. As soon as she came in their mansion, Gauri had changed completely from lifeless Gauri to full of life Gauri. Even Om noticed the change in his wife. She was back to how she was when they started dating, when they got married and when she was pregnant….pregnant. Om was so happy when she got pregnant but the one who was even more happy than him was Gauri.

She didn’t care if the baby was a boy or girl, all she said to Om the day they found out that she was pregnant was that she would make the baby go on her team. She didn’t care that she was going to gain weight during pregnancy, all she said to everyone was that it was a beautiful feeling to have your baby inside you. She didn’t care about the morning sickness or the aches and pains, all she said to everyone was that it was normal during pregnancy and even though there were downsides to pregnancy, the other bits of pregnancy was beautiful. Om was always excited to go to the ultrasounds but Gauri…Gauri wouldn’t even stay still for two minutes until they reached the hospital so that they could see the baby. Whenever it was time to shop for their baby girl, Gauri would get so excited but she would always consider what would be best for the little girl.

When Om got to know that his wife was pregnant, he was so happy that he made it a tradition that he would wake up way before Gauri to talk to the baby growing inside of her and he would talk to the baby at night as well. He would tell their baby about the crazy world out there, their crazy family especially the immature duffer Rudy, he would tell their baby about that he was always going to be there for her no matter what.

Om entered his room to find Gauri talking to the baby in a cute voice and the baby was smiling. It seemed like Gauri opened the baby box she kept for their daughter and got the toys out of that box so that the baby could play with them. Om looked at the baby’s smile and oh wow the baby’s smile was gorgeous however he couldn’t help but notice how it resembled Gauri’s smile a lot. It could just be a coincidence.

Gauri turned to see Om at the door.

Gauri: arre Omkaraji, hi.  Come here and play with us.

Om smiled and came to sit on the bed. He grabbed the red shaped pillow and spoke in a baby voice: baby, peek a boo.

The baby giggled and Gauri smiled…Om looked at her smile, it wasn’t a forced smile, it was a real smile. How did he know? When she smiled for real, her eyes sparkled even more. Her smile shone like stars after dark, with no city lights to dim them.

When the baby giggled, it sounded like music to Rikara’s ears. Soon the baby decided that she was sleepy. Gauri kept her in her arms and cradled her gently, singing a lullaby: lori lori lori… (4), Gardhaniya chun chun baje. Palkan mein sapna saje. Dheeme dheeme haule haule. Pawan basanti doley. Hmm…

It had been ages since she last sang a song. Her singing voice sounded like a hummingbird chirping. Shivika and Rumya were walking past Rikara’s room but stopped when they heard Gauri singing.

Gauri: dheeme dheeme haule haule. Pawan basanti doley. Leke godh mein sulaaun. Gaaun raat bhar sunaaun. Main lori lori. Oh ho main lori lori.

The baby girl was now asleep. Shivika and Rumya came into Rikara’s room, smiling.

Somu: that was beautiful.

Shivay: really it was. Is she asleep now?

Rikara nodded, smiling. They allowed Shivika and Rumya to sit down on the bed.

Gauri: is Anya asleep?

Anika: yeah she’s with Dadi. How are you two doing?

Om: we’re fine Bhabhi.

Gauri: but I was thinking about something…

Rudy: what is it Gauri Bhabhi?

Gauri: is it bad that within one day, all the pain I have been feeling for six months just disappeared? I still feel grief but with this baby girl, I feel my daughter’s presence.

Anika: it’s not a bad thing Gauri. It’s okay to feel your daughter’s presence, just please don’t let your emotions overpower you again. Your daughter wants to see her mother as a strong woman.

Gauri smiled then realised something: oh my god, we need to name her.

Rudy: you’re right Gauri Bhabhi, I don’t think she has a name. If she did, then it would be mentioned in the note.

Somu: wow Duffer Singh Oberoi, you are thinking logical.

Rudy: I always think logical.

Everyone else rolled their eyes. Rudy? Logical? What a joke.

Shivay: she is kind of like an angel in a way.

Om: that’s true, she came and within one day, she managed to make everyone happy. Only an angel can do that.

Anika: it’s almost as if God sent an angel down to earth for us.

Gauri: Pari! Pari is her name.

Om: perfect.

They looked at the little girl, it seemed like she heard them calling her Pari because she gave a small smile.

A month later:

It had been a month since Pari came into their lives, the O’bros were still trying to figure out who was the father among Shivay, Om and Rudy but they couldn’t reach a conclusion. No one had came to take Pari yet but maybe it was for the best. Ever since Pari came, Gauri was back to her old self. She actually wanted to do things like cook, go outside, did you know she even started watching Salman Khan films again and even managed to make Pari watch a bit of Prem Ratan Dhan Payo?

Pari seemed to have settled in the mansion well, she even got so used to the name she was given and she would only respond if someone called her princess or Pari.

The O’bros came to the conclusion that if someone came to take Pari, then Gauri would go back to lifeless Gauri. Rikara still missed their daughter badly, they missed her a lot and there were times that when Pari was sleeping, they would cry quietly for their baby daughter.

Tej was on a business trip and recently came back to see a baby in the house and Rikara bonding with that baby. He was also one of those people who rubbed salt in Gauri’s wounds but Pinky and Tej slowly stopped taunting Gauri about her dead daughter and accepted the fact that she was capable of taking care of a daughter. Dadi would look at Rikara and Pari’s bond, and pray to God to let Pari stay in her grandson and granddaughter-in-law’s lives forever.

Office:

Manish entered the office in a suit and saw Sneha talking on the landline.

Sneha: I will let Mrs Walia know thank you. Have a good day. Bye.

She kept the landline down to see Manish looking at her dangerously.

Sneha: now what?

Manish: you said last month you would collect her in a couple of days and yet you didn’t collect her.

Sneha: it was your fault, you gave me so many meetings what was I meant to do? In the last month, I had 12 meetings to prepare for and attend. In case you didn’t notice, I haven’t taken a single break because I am dedicated to my job.

Manish: if you were dedicated to your job then you wouldn’t abandon that little girl.

Sneha: I am dedicated to my job and I abandoned her because I needed the energy to attend these meetings etc. Why couldn’t you just let your daughter be a mother?

Manish: because she is too young to be a mother and that boy she married is useless. Who earns money by painting? I took their daughter from them so that she would leave him eventually. I was counting months and days until my daughter would come to my door saying that she wants a divorce from her useless artist husband but now I don’t think she will divorce him and marry the kind of guy I want her to marry thanks to you. Now you tell me this, why did you leave that baby at that mansion?

Sneha: because I think your granddaughter should get to know her mother and you should let your daughter be happy. She lost her mother when she was 11, give her a break sir.

Manish: if they ever divorce, she will thank me for meddling in their marriage.

Sneha: fine I will get her back even though I personally think you should just let your daughter have the baby.

Manish: thank you! Once you get her back, then I will do what I should have done 7 months ago…send her to an orphanage.

Sneha stayed quiet as Manish left.

O.M:

Anya and Pari were playing with Somu watching them.

Anya: she so cute.

Somu: I know she is.

Anya: I am also cute?

Somu: haan Anya baby, you and Pari are both very very very cute.

Anya smiled as she continued playing with Pari until Gauri came, Pari saw her smiling. She crawled to her and tried to get Gauri to pick her up by pulling her duapatta until she managed to make her duapatta fall onto the ground Gauri smiled and picked Pari up, meaning Pari’s clever antics worked.

Gauri: alee meri mithu! You and Anya are both the cutest things ever!

Anya: right?

Gauri: haan baby, right. What are you two playing?

Anya: we play with these teddies.

Gauri: wow can I play too?

Anya: yay!

Gauri smiled as she sat down with Pari on her laps. Soon Anika came and all the girls decided to leave that room to find Shivomru.

Another room:

Tej: I come home last week to find a baby in the house and I didn’t say anything for a week but after seeing this note you idiots just show me I want to know who is the baby’s father? Since this note clearly says that one of you three idiots is the father!!!

Om: we don’t know!

Tej: arre stupid! Why do you think the bloody DNA test was invented?!

Obros: DNA test?

Tej groaned. These idiots were really idiots and he thought that Rudy was only capable of being an idiot.

Tej: DNA test….a test to determine whether an individual is the biological parent of another individual. Paternity testing can be especially important when the rights and duties of the father are in issue and a child’s paternity is in doubt. Genetic tests are performed on a sample of blood, hair, skin, amniotic fluid, or other tissue. Rudy: dad, have you turned into Google?

Shivay: bade papa, we know what a DNA test is.

Om: but why should we put a little kid through a DNA test?

Tej: I know a doctor who does DNA tests with blood samples.

The Obros felt a chill in their spines hearing blood samples.

Voice: what?

Everyone turned to see Gauri with Pari in her arms – Anika, Anya and Somu was behind her. Anika whispered to Anya to go to Dadi and Anya ran to find Dadi. Anika, Gauri, Pari and Somu entered the room.

Gauri stood face to face with the men and said: why should we do a DNA test? When a doctor gets a blood sample off a baby, then the doctor has to prick the baby and I don’t want Pari to go through the pain of getting pricked and her blood being taken out….I understand vaccines because they will protect her but DNA test, what’s the point? The note says one of these brothers is the father but who cares? Pari belongs to all of us, she belongs to the Obros and she belongs to the Obahus.

Everyone was silent because Gauri was right in a way.

Om: I agree Gauri.

Gauri: I want to adopt Pari.

Everyone was shocked, Om was shocked to hear this from Gauri.

Om: what?

Gauri: I want to be her mother Omkaraji, I want to send her to school, be with her to take her first steps, so what if she isn’t my real daughter? Heart relationships are stronger than blood relationships. Someone left her at our house and no  one came to collect her and I think it’s better if we adopt her but only if it’s okay with you.

Om thought for a while, even he wanted to be a father…the doctor said to both Rikara that him and Gauri could make a baby again but Gauri was still grieving and she told him once that she didn’t want to be pregnant for a year or so. He felt attached to Pari, she was really an angel and if no one was going to come and claim Pari as theirs then it was only fair for him and Gauri to have Pari as their daughter…besides with Pari, it felt like his daughter was there.

Om: I will get the adoption papers in two days promise.

Everyone smiled but Gauri’s smile was the one that shone. She hugged Om, Pari still in her arms. Pari smiled too and managed to make Om carry her. He kissed her cheek.

That evening, Dadi decided that tomorrow they would have a party because tomorrow marked the day that Pari entered their house and brought happiness to their house. She, Pinky and Jhanvi got all the servants to start getting the house decorated and they started to invite people.

The next day:

It was afternoon, Gauri was dressed in a gorgeous baby pink silk chiffon saree:

Once she was ready, she got out a dress for Pari to wear.

Gauri: let’s turn you into a princess Pari.

Pari looked at her with a pout.

Gauri: oh sorry sorry, you are already a princess. Let’s turn you into a queen.

Pari smiled as Gauri changed her from the light blue baby romper to a gorgeous dark maroon dress. She found a baby headband and kept it on her head.

Gauri: now my Pari looks like a queen.

Om: indeed she does.

Gauri saw her husband dressed in a white gold kurta walk to their bed and hugged Pari. He looked at the little angel and noticed how she really looked like a mix of him and his wife.

Om in mind: since last month, her smile looked like Gauri, her eyes looked like mine….so many features of hers looks either like mine or like Gauri’s. Is that normal or is it just a concidence?

Gauri: come on Omkaraji, it’s time for the party. Guests are coming.

Om nodded and picked up Pari. The soon to be parents came down the stairs with Pari, people started greeting them. As this was happening, they heard a voice: meri beti!

The chatters and low whispers stopped as everyone looked at the door to find a woman dressed in a cream blouse and black trousers. Her dark brown hair was tied in a loose ponytail.

Sneha: yes me.

Om: Sneha..she works with your dad right Gauri?

Gauri: yes she does. Why are you here?

Sneha: Gauri, this child in your husband’s arms is mine.

Gauri: she’s your child?

Sneha: yes Gauri, she is. Me and my boyfriend decided to have a baby and when my daughter was born, my boyfriend didn’t want her because she was a girl so when he had enough of seeing her face he (she started crying) he took my daughter and left her here. I begged, I pleaded and I cried for a month because I wanted him to tell me where he kept my Shona. Just now he told me that he left my daughter at the doorstep of this mansion.

Om: but he left a note saying that me or one of my brothers are the father.

Sneha: he told me he lied writing that note. He didn’t want anything to do with my Shona. I missed my daughter so much, I need her back, please return her back to her real mother, a child deserves their real mother.

Everyone was hesitant well Rikara was really hesitant, they grew attached to Pari and they didn’t want to let her go. She was too special for them.

Sneha: please Gauri…I was helpless, you would ask for your child back if the same thing happened to you right?

Gauri: I would.

Sneha: Om, you would do the same right?

Om: yes I would.

Gauri started tearing up and said: Pari has been a big part in our case but she deserves her real mother.

I don’t want to let you go but Sneha is your real mother and she will take care of you. I want you to know a few things before you go. I want you to know that whatever you do, make sure it’s good for your soul. You want to become an artist? Go ahead. You want to be an engineer? No one’s stopping you. You want to be an actress? Go audition. Follow your dreams baby girl. Don’t ever let anyone come in the way of you and your dreams. You have fire in your soul and grace in your heart.

A tear flew from his eye. Pari with her tiny hand wiped the tear. Om smiled and kept his forehead and his forehead.

It’s true when they say that babies have some sort of magic in them because babies…they fill a place in your heart that you never knew was empty.

She allowed the tears to flow. Pari wiped her tears with her tiny hands like she did with Om. Gauri stroked her tiny hairs and said: you are a queen Pari, a girl doesn’t need a king to be a queen. A queen is a queen with or without a king. Always remember that queens don’t compete with other queens. In a world where we can choose to love, we choose to hate but Pari…I want you to love. I will pray for you everyday, I will pray for you to only experience happiness and never bear any pain. We will always remember you Pari….

The Oberois all felt really teary but Gauri and Om were allowing their tears to escape from their eyes.

Rikara: never forget us please.

Pari smiled and tried hugging them. Sneha took Pari from Gauri. Gauri turned so that she could go to her room but before she could, she felt something holding her sari’s pallu. She closed her eyes, tears falling then she, Om, Sneha and everyone heard a small baby voice: ma.

Gauri didn’t see but Om saw that Pari was looking at Gauri when she said ‘ma’….she wasn’t looking at Sneha. Sneha even felt teary, no she couldn’t. She had to tell the truth, she couldn’t cause pain to Om and Gauri, they deserved to be happy. She didn’t care if she lost her job. She turned and Gauri turned.

Gauri: she was calling you ma.

Om: no she was looking at you when she said ma and she was holding your pallu Gauri…Sneha, a child always know who their mother is, they feel some sort of special connection to the woman who carries them in their womb. I know that at 7 months, babies try saying random words but ma…she didn’t say that to you, she said it to Gauri.

Sneha: because Gauri is her real mother.

Everyone was shocked. The guests started their low whisper, the Oberois’ jaws dropped open and their eyes widened in shock. The ones who were more shocked was Rikara. Their brains were trying to process this fact that was just thrown at that.

Sneha: Om and Gauri are her real parents. Your daughter never died. She never died on the day that she was born, she was alive. I was never pregnant. I was the one looking after this baby for six months and then I had enough so I wrote the note, put her in the basket and kept her at the doorstep. I was looking after her for six months because your dad didn’t want to send her to an orphanage at the time. Gauri, your dad…

Gauri interrupting: my dad?

Sneha: yes your dad told the hospital to tell you that your daughter died of premature complications because…

Gauri interrupting again: sorry to interrupt again but I think it’s better if my dad explains what he did.

Sneha nodded as Gauri went on her phone to call her dad. Within 10 minutes, her dad Manish came into the mansion.

Manish: because Om is an artist, it’s not a stable job! I wanted my daughter to marry a guy who has a stable job, a stable income…Om you are living on your parents’ money. Useless.

Om: actually I am not, I am living on my own money.

Gauri: exactly! Omkaraji owns at least 10 art galleries and people from around the world come to India to purchase his art. He is the youngest artist and he has won artist of the year three times in a row. My husband is not useless and if you are wondering why we are living with his family well that’s because living in a joint family is great. We are all together and we are happy together. And as for you thinking I am too young to be a mother, I am not! I am not too young to be a mother.

Manish: your mother left when you was 11.

Gauri: doesn’t mean I don’t know how to be a mother. Dad, you always had your doubts with me. You doubted me when I wasn’t speaking when I was a toddler, you doubted me when it was my dance competition at 8, you doubted me for my boards so why did you doubt me when it was my time to be a mother? Stop doubting me! I am not a little kid anymore.

Om: because of your doubts, you ruined our lives. You messed with your own daughter’s life. You gave us pain.

Gauri: you robbed us of our joy. You snatched our daughter from me and my husband! You didn’t even think twice before you got our baby from us. A small baby…what did a small baby ever do to you? I wanted to see my daughter when she was a newborn, I want her little hands to grab my finger because when a baby grabs your finger, they are telling you that they want us to be with them always.

Om: me and my dad had a strained relationship before and I wanted a relationship with my daughter which was pure and which no one could break. I saw so many dreams with our daughter and if Sneha hadn’t said the truth then those dreams would have just been dreams. We grieved for six months and you left a wound on our hearts.

Gauri: I am happy to know that my daughter is alive but I am upset that my dad was the reason why we were grieving for six months. You left a wound on our hearts dad and I don’t think I will ever forgive you for doing this to us. Mum died when I was 11 but you know what? I wish she didn’t die, at least she wouldn’t try to get in the way of my happiness.

Manish: Gauri…

Gauri: OH SHUT UP MR SHARMA! I DON’T NEED TO HEAR IT! GET OUT OF THIS HOUSE AND NEVER, NEVER COME BACK! I MUCH RATHER BE AN ORPHAN THAN HAVE A DAD WHO DOUBTS ME AND WHO RUINED MY LIFE!

Manish: fine Sneha you are fired.

Gauri: SNEHA GETS TO KEEP HER JOB! SHE IS NOT AT FAULT HERE, YOU ARE! I AM GRATEFUL THAT SHE LEFT MY DAUGHTER AT MY DOORSTEP ELSE I WOULD HAVE EVER MET PARI! NOW GET OUT.

She grabbed her dad’s wrist and walked to the door with him. She got him outside the house and said: never come back…forget that you even have a daughter.

Manish: but Gauri…

Gauri: goodbye Mr Sharma.

Once she said that, she closed the door on her dad’s face. She started crying but Om came to her and hugged her tight. She hugged him back.

Om: don’t cry jaan…our daughter is alive, she’s here. Let’s forget what happened and make memories with Pari.

Gauri: you’re right.

Sneha came up to them as they broke the hug and gave Pari to Gauri.

Sneha: Pari deserves to be with her real mother.

Gauri smiled and hugged her daughter, kissing the side of her head. The guests smiled as Om hugged the two loves of his life – Gauri and Pari. The Oberois smiled too. Dadi blessed the three in her head and Rudy spoke: just like that, every saas-bahu drama or every dramatic Netflix movie has a happy ending.

Everyone in the room: shut up Rudra!

Rudy: get some new dialogue guys.

Pari: ma.

Rikara kissed the top of their daughter’s head and Anika clicked that moment…a special moment for Rikara, for their family…a moment that wasn’t worth forgetting but worth remembering.

5 months later:

‘Artist Omkara Singh Oberoi and New Singer Gauri Omkara Singh Oberoi celebrates their daughter Pari Omkara Singh Oberoi’s 1st birthday by hosting a themed Disney Princess birthday party. The family decided to look like Prince Eric, Princess Ariel and their daughter Melody…though Gauri says that she refused to wear a red wig. Omkara Singh Oberoi looks handsome wearing a white suit suited for a king, Gauri Omkara Singh Oberoi wore a beautiful pink gown and little Pari Omkara Singh Oberoi stole the show wearing a beautiful white dress with small pink patterns said to be designed by Manish Malhotra. Pari looked so beautiful, we at Bollywood Gossip believe that she will be breaking hearts when she is older.The first birthday party of Pari was said to be attended by big names such as Monali Thakur, Tulsi Kumar, Armaan Malik, Amaal Malik, Salman Khan, Neha Kakkar and Shahrukh Khan.’

1 year later: 

‘Omkara Singh Oberoi, Gauri Omkara Singh Oberoi and Pari Omkara Singh Oberoi were seen today at the International Dolls Museum in Chandigarh. It is said that they went to Chandigarh for an exhibition Omkara is going to hold. Gauri and Pari look gorgeous in matching white and blue floral jumpsuits with Omkara in a white shirt with a couple of buttons undone. In one photo, we can see that Pari is trying to grab one doll and everyone in the picture is smiling at the young girl.’

Another year later:

‘Artist Omkara Singh Oberoi and Singer Gauri Omkara Singh Oberoi are blessed with another baby girl who they have named Chahat Omkara Singh Oberoi. Omkara Singh Oberoi said that they have named their daughter Chahat because it was Pari’s wish to have a baby sister and Chahat means desire and wish. They called her Chahat to remind them of Pari’s cute wish. Our reporter spoke to 3 year old Pari about how she feels to have a baby sister and Pari cutely replied with “I feel blessed and I love her. Isn’t she adorable? We can’t wait for Omkara and Gauri to do a face reveal of Chahat. We all at Bollywood Gossip think that Chahat will look like Gauri because Pari is a mini replica of Omkara. Do you think Chahat will look like Gauri or Omkara?’

Manish looked at the article…if only he didn’t decide to mess with his daughter’s life then maybe he would be allowed to see his granddaughters but he made a mistake and it was only fair if he paid for that mistake.

She said this because she was looking at her newborn baby sister. Her parents smile and Gauri replied with: she is cute and you are also cute.

Pari: Anya didi also cute.

Gauri: of course she is.

Om: by the way Pari, how do you feel about having a brother?

Pari: Pari want brother.

Om: really?

Pari: yes really. Brother mean rakhi gifts and Dhruv (Rumya’s son) not enough. We need more rakhi gifts.

Om: yes we do baccha.

Pari looked at the time and said: oh my mata! My serial coming. Pari going to Dadi, bye.

Rikara: bye.

She went off the bed and ran out of the room so that she could watch her favourite show Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai. Yes this show was on air as a rerun and yes this 3 year old little girl loved both cartoons and Star Plus dramas. In fact her favourite serial made her want a little sister.

Shivay had to shift to Denmark because of business so Anika and Anya went with him last year. They were coming back to live in India next year but ever since Anya went to Denmark, Pari wanted a little sister so she could be Jeevika and her little sister could be Manvi. Pari had decided that when Anya comes back then she and Anya can both be Jeevika, Chahat would be Manvi and Dhruv would be Dabbu.

Om: sometimes I wonder if she will one day act in a Star Plus drama.

Gauri: forgot that, why did you ask Pari for a brother?

Om: because then I want to romance you again.

Gauri: really? We just had another baby, you are not allowed to romance me until I say so.

Om: okay boss.

Gauri smiled, pecking her husband’s lips.

1:30am:

Chahat, Pari and Rikara were asleep when Chahat and Pari decided to wake up. Pari was waking up her mum since she was next to Gauri and Chahat started crying to wake up both parents.

Rikara: what?

Pari: lori.

Gauri: lori?

Pari: yes.

Om: is that why you and your sister woke us up?

Pari nodded innocently. Gauri smiled as she stroked Pari’s hair which was as silky as Om’s hair. She tried to figure out what shampoo and conditioner Om was using on his hair and Pari’s hair but Om refused to tell his wife sadly.

Om stroked the little tufts of hair on Chahat’s hair as Gauri started to sing the lori: lori lori lori… (4). Chandaniya chup jaana re. Chan bhar ko luk jaana re. Neendiya aankhon mein aaye. Bitiya meri so jaaye. Hmm…neendiya aankhon mein aaye. Bitiya meri so jaaye. Leke godh mein sulaaun. Gaaun raat bhar sunaaun. Main lori lori. Ho main lori lori.

The scene blurred as Gauri continued singing till it turned black but you could hear Pari narrating: I know what mummy and daddy go through in past and I pway (pray) everyday for only happy (happiness) to be in their lives.

Hello Everyone, this is naira Khan, the author of Sajna Veh FF , which successfully ran and was a fan favorite till its  64th episode featuring shivIka, SwaSan,RagLak, VirIka,ArYa, RoKa,IshVeer,TwinJ,DurJay. but i could’nt update next for a long long time due to my semesters. thus i am bringing a new plot, new twists, and a new storyline to our old characters. please do read, review, comment, and tell me if i should continue !

Scene 1

a huge and luxurious office is shown. Grey, silver , and ivory decor beautifies the arena which is surrounded by tall glass walls. sitting on his arm chair is a man in his early thirties, with a 5 day stubble playing on his face, a Navy Blue business suit, black gucci shoes, and dark cropped hair with hazelnut hints. And Yes, This is none other than our baaghar Billa, Shivaay Singh oberoi.

He is shown busy on his phone. Suddenly, a woman in a short pencil skirt, enters his room with a few files. She puts the files on his desk. and sits on his arm rest. Shivaay gets stunned and looks up at her.

Shivaay smiles – Shanaya…!

Shanaya (surbhi Jyoti) is shown. she wraps her arms around his neck.

Shanaya – Shivaay. where’s my gift?

Shivaay – whatever you wish. you know na, your wish, my command ….

Shanaya smiles and loosens his tie.

Shanaya – Aww i know baby. but today, i wont ask for a jaisa taisa gift. i want something solid.

Shivaay furrows his eyebrows. – tum maang ke dikhaao tumhare liye toh meri jaan bhi hazir hai .

Shanaya leans in towards his face and places a gentle kiss on his lips.

Anika is shown fiddling with her engagement ring , pacing her bedroom in a very tensed state .

She finlly sits down and looks at a file kept on the table. she picks it up and opens the file, and takes out papers which are turned out to be divorced papers. she traces the papers with her fingers and touches her signatures. she takes a deep breath.

Anika looks at the screen – waqt kisi ke liye rukta nahi hai . qismat kisi ki sunta nahi hai. Nafrat ki beejon se lagay huwe per ko kitne bhi pyaar aur mohabbat se bra karo, uske phal kabhi khushiya nahi deta hai. mere aur Shivaay ka rishta bhi majboori aur nafrat ke dor se hi bandhoi gayi hi jab unhone unki biwi Shagun ko chhod ke mujhse shaadi ki thi. phir chaahe bich me kitne mohabbat bhare lamho ko maine sach kyun na mana ho, aaj phir usi chawrahe pe khare hai hum. aur aaj Shivaay mujhe chhod kar kisi aur se shaadi karenge .

Shanaya smiles, unbuttoning his shirt, each button by the passing seconds.

she leans in deeper to him.

Shivaay – I…..

Shanaya – tell me na baby…will you marry me…

Shivaay – ….

shanaya – come on Shivaayyy!!

Shivaay – I will.

Shanaya smirks, and pulls him by his collar and starts smooching him. she gets up on his and starts stradddling him. Shivaay grabs her by her waist as she pulls his hair.

Shivaay opens his one eye, and spots a picture .

the mansion is shown getting decorated. loads of young girls are seen in beautiful lehengas and holding flower bouquets, running around the house. camera mans are shownn clicking photos. many men are shown in rich formal suits while women are shown gossiping in heavy jewellery and velvet gorgeous sarees.

on the centre , a lush sofa set is surrounded by loads of white and cyan roses , white and gold candles and many small tables topped with small lamps and mehendi tubes .

Kaanchi is shown sitting on the sofa with a floral headgear on her hair. she is shown getting mehendi applied on her hands by her best friends and mehendi artists .

Dholls start playing.

bekhudi (yrhpk) dholl version starts playing.

Sanskar and Laksh along with Ranveer and Kunj enter in color ful coats over white kurta sets , carrying dholls wearing colored sun shades.

kaanchi smiles excitedly .

Swara joins in and dances happily with Sanskar. Swara and sanskar sit around Kaanchi and kiss her temples. laksh is shown dancing alone.

Ragini is shown standing alone in a corner . with no baby bump.  she gently places her hand on her belly and sighs deeply . she takes a deep breath and is about to join them.

but suddenly, a girl places her hand on laksh’s hand and he twirls her into his embrace. they continue dancing  .

Ahana (kaveri priyam) is shown smiling at laksh. She touches his face lovingly. Laksh smiles and places his hand on Ahana’s baby bump. Tears streams down Ragini’s face. She runs away.

Ragini looks at the screen – aur mai apne inhi haathon apne zaat ko yuhi jala dalungi….

Twinkle and Ishani are shown carrying flowers.

twinkle gets a phone call .

Twinkle – hello….

caller – Twinkle beta…

twinkle – who is this ??

caller – mai ghar aa rahi hu beta….

twinkle gets shell shocked.

kanchi is shown applying mehendi. SP and Rohan are shown sitting Around her.

ishani takes the tube and places it on kanchis palm.

Ishani – V likhun kya ???

ishani winks at kaanchi.

kaanchi blushes – why v bhabhi ? you should like Vatsal’s name in complete block letters.

ishani giggles and writes Vatsal on kanchi’s hand. Rohan and SP look on.

the telephone rings.

Swara – hello.

caller – FLIGHT 31266903076 has unfortunately had a crash landing and no one has survived.

Vatsal’s photo frame breaks .

Swara screams – Vattyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kanchi is shown draped in a white saree

Akshara wearing a black saree burns off a candle .

voice over – Kya bujh hayegi raichand parivaar ki sari khushiyan ?
